701  Other / Meta / Re: Adblock Plus censoring posts on: May 26, 2013, 04:38:22 PM
There's nothing I can change in the forum's HTML to stop this. This isn't a side-effect of my anti-ABP code.
Yes, it is. You're the one who started the arms race with EasyList. If you removed your anti-ABP code, easylist maintainers wouldn't have to go through such extreme measures. This whole arms race is retarded, and you're turning it into a game of "why are you hitting yourself".

I would just logout everyone who was detected using adblock.
Try to use the forum while logged out if you prefer to keep ABP on Grin

I forget. How much are we paying to use this forum?

Well, I paid over six thousand dollars. And I don't get shit.

No, you paid 50 BTC. Leave the dollars out of it, ok?
Oh, and btw, did anyone promised you anything in exchange for those 50 BTC you paid and didn't deliver on the promise?
704  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Help 4 friend. script multiple payments via list of addresses on: May 25, 2013, 12:43:57 AM
Just be careful not to have repeated addresses on the list or it will fail.

Awesome, they're trying to regulate a bunch of code.
Mike Hearn, they can maybe arrest YOU but they can't arrest Bitcoin, but if you fear that outcome, then maybe you should just step the fuck out, because maybe, just maybe, Bitcoin isn't for you and the likes...
The cat is out of the bag and it won't listen to regulation.
709  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Regras do fórum? on: May 23, 2013, 09:33:54 AM

- 4 horas online no forum, com actividade registada. Ter apenas o separador aberto sem usar não conta
710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Theymos: What the fuck is up with BFL and TradeFortress? on: May 21, 2013, 01:42:20 PM
Why are you abdicating your responsibilities?
Because they've received a lot of money from BFL both as a forum entity and individually as mods, not all of them but most of them. BFL is obviously a scam and was created to be a scam!

Shit, dude. Do you have any transaction ID's of those payments?
I'm missing my BFL payments and would like to know to which wallet I sent them.
Any help is appreciated.

Sincerely,

-psy

716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thin bitcoin wallet client with message sign possibility on: May 19, 2013, 03:38:43 PM
Armory used in Offline Mode.
But I don't think the signing/verifying is the same as in Bitcoin-qt, so a message signed by Armory can't be verified by Bitcoin-qt and vice-versa.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Foundation is TOXIC and must dissolve, plus a call to action on: May 19, 2013, 03:02:38 PM
If you are to start some new Bitcoin community-driven organization, please make it one of the priorities to fund client development and testing. I don't see the Bitcoin Foundation doing this enough.

I think the Bitcoin Foundation openly states that all they intend to do on that level is to pay Gavin a salary, not to fund client development and testing. You're right that any other organization should make it a priority but not on the same terms e.g."Pay developer X a salary"
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Foundation is TOXIC and must dissolve, plus a call to action on: May 19, 2013, 01:12:17 PM
You know what I find surprising?
You, Mike, of all people, couldn't see the bitcoin foundation would just turn into a lobbying institution and paid for a lifetime membership...
I mean, really? Even I could see their true purpose, and I'm not as smart as you, not even close  Embarrassed

Not being a foundation member I can't do much more than offer my support to your proposal, useless as that support may be.
719  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TradeFortress is a scammer. on: May 19, 2013, 10:31:41 AM
geeeeez, if a forum troll can wreak such havoc then ripple doesn't seem to be that much of a system, does it?

Trust really means trust. As long as you don't grant trust to someone you don't really trust with that amount of money, you'll be fine. The trust system is what allows you to be independent of the banking system if necessary, though it doesn't insulate you against inflation caused by central banks.

Trust, just like love, is eternal only while it lasts Wink
720  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TradeFortress is a scammer. on: May 19, 2013, 10:23:20 AM

I would not accept a BoA balance equal to a Citibank's balance if the nearest BoA atm is a hour's drive away compared to 5 minutes, for example.

This is why you're a douchebag.

YOU don't have to accept BOA and Citibank equally.   But if you trust BOA - THEY trust Citibank - and thus you can end up with money from someone trusting Citibank.

Get it dumbass?  (probably not)

What Ripple does is let you TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for these trust relationships in a finer and more detailed way.   However, that's harder to do when a jerk-off like you is misleading people into thinking you're "going to send them BTC on Ripple" when they don't even understand what Ripple is.

You're a fucking scammer - you misled people to perpetrate a fraud. That's a fact.  Whether the moderators want to do the right thing or not is irrelevant.

geeeeez, if a forum troll can wreak such havoc then ripple doesn't seem to be that much of a system, does it?
