701  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: August 05, 2017, 07:48:03 PM
Nope, it wouldn't take a whole lot to get the numbers to start going down (compared to other currencies).

As much as it pains me to say it, this is the truth.

Now, it does have the capability to become the strongest, so do take that into account.
I agree. Even it has high market value, it can't be the greatest currency. Only a part of the world accepts bitcoin. It doesn't even legal in some countries. It can only be the strongest if after it has been legalized in every country of the world it retains its value and can be used for offline transactions in other word, in every day living
Bitcoin will never become the strongest currency in the world because a lot of the people still uses fiat currency and the governments from different countries will not allow bitcoin to become the strongest or even most used currency because it will be the cause for the fall of fiat currency in the world.

I wouldn't say never. It's currently very far from being the strongest currency in the world. But the growth that it's experiencing is exponential, so over let's say a couple decades, it does have potential. Right now I'd say the USD is the strongest currency by far. Pretty much accepted worldwide and they could print bitcoins entire market cap in a month without any effect on fx (which they already did for years).
I agree on that. For now, it isn't bitcoin's opportunity to outshine. USD has everything for many years already but btc has not that many to prove yet right await but always keep your pride low to people around you no matter what circumstance you will experience someday. Keep holding on.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: August 05, 2017, 05:24:57 PM
Why stop here if this is profitable for me.
Rarely are people willing to pay more than here.
The absolute thing to defend the hardest time there is no money then the life of all obstacles.
So far altcoin has been good to me and yes it is profitable as you mentioned there. Though others think that this isn't decent and no label, but I swear I'm thankful to be part of this site and it's really difficult to find a better job thesedays but through altcoins I am surviving little by little. This like a bright for my goals in life and to enrich my abilities to grow smart and wise in this cryptocurrency matter but of course to be a good example to everyone not just on one thing.
703  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: August 03, 2017, 11:41:20 PM
I definitely like the multi-wallet approach.  Using a soft mobile wallet for everyday transactions and a hardware wallet for storing the bulk of my BTC.  Seems to make sense for security purposes. Smiley Smiley
I also used also multiple wallets for security purposes. I think it is much better than you stock only your savings in one wallet. Therefore, I have some altcoins wallets because if needed.
I will do that soon. Isn't it difficult to manage multiple wallet accounts? I have no idea with other wallets because it's hard to trust and for the sake of security as well. It's my first time though but so far I'm only using one wallet and it's working well in my country. It provides strict requirements such as government or secured ID and other real info about you as you join the this kind of wallet. I also hear about ether wallet but not so sure about its detailed information.

705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 20, 2017, 11:00:04 PM
I don't agree with your submission that trading is an unpredictable job. Trading is unpredictable only if you don't have a working strategy but if you have a good working strategy one can predict trading.
Yes, we do strategy and analisys in trading. So trading is a work that can be predicted, because if our strategy is successful then we can achieve profit. In contrast to other jobs such as gambling, gambling is only risking against luck. So trading for me is a job that can generate income when we can do the proper analysis of the coin that we have.
It says unpredictable. Somehow it is because some people don't have the same decision when it comes to trading and that is a loss of income for the investors. For instance, my parents traded their calf only once in a week, they expected that it would be the same the other week's trading as they could get profit to it. All in all,it's a case to case basis.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 08:44:54 PM
I've got a lot of plans to do with my bitcoin. And one of it is buying my own home and after buying my own home I'm going to secure my own car. Once I have my two plans in my life, I'll go with planning of my wedding with my girlfriend. And if everything has been set and I've been ready for everything, I'll start up my own business.

Your plan is a better idea to do soom, but for me I guess I will invest at tradimg and continue to hold for a better future. Maybe if I do that in a long term, not just that will happen but of course more of it in our lives. That bitcoins I have now is my digital asset that cannot be stolen away and good future awaits, specially for my family's future particularly my kids.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 19, 2017, 08:10:56 PM
GILGAM.ES Announcement

To the attention of users having taken part in Gilgam.es ICO:

Many of you have raised concerns about the amount of GGS tokens remaining in the founders’ possession according to our original plans, as the crowdsale is not expected to reach the cap we have aimed at. In order to rationalize the original rates in a fair way, the tokens will be distributed in the following way after the closure of the crowdsale (ICO):

- Unsold tokens of the original 120m will be burned after the ICO.
- Instead of 20m GGS, 200,000 tokens will be allocated to founders’ pool (with a 2-year freezing period); all the other founders’ tokens will be burned.
- Approx. 300,000 tokens of the originally planned 10m will be distributed among the participants of bounty campaigns after the closure of the crowdsale. 200,000 tokens will be maintained for tournaments, further campaigns and for sponsoring purposes for the next two years; the rest will be burned.

This way we wish to ensure maintaining the original proportions of founders’ and free float GGS tokens in the possession of the contributors.

Thank you for your trust and your contributions; we continue to work hard on the project and will provide you with regular updates.

Nice, with the ICO finishing up there should be more people interested in this project since it actually launched. Can you also speak to the Campaign manager? It doesn’t look like he is doing his job correctly, I requested for my user rank to be changed a couple of weeks ago and I was ignored. I posted in the main bounty thread a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t see any action from it.

It’s getting irritating, that's why people shouldn't manage more than 1 campaign.

Just be calm and have to understand mate, the manager is very busy dealing with this project and I know there's a lit more to do with his part. Better be lucky if you've joined this wonderful signature campaign. Well the project is gonna be finished this weel and I hope there's a good and better outcome as we go so far for this journey, so lets congratulate everybody who took part of the opportunity of promoting the signature campaign.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: July 19, 2017, 02:11:39 PM
Bitcoin is not useless, because using bitcoin more unemployed people were got job using bitcoin. Moreover bitcoin help all level of people in different countries to have an income.

Of course bitcoin certain is not useless and I can defend it because it actually gives us a good sources of financial freedom. That job being provided to us by bitcoin really brings better life to us, and the unemployed people wull just prefer earning better rather than employed ones. If all people around the world will gain positive visions, I think they will develop that attitude of being hardworking for bitcoins.
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 18, 2017, 11:03:24 PM
This need a lot of time to make a cashless society what you have stated. May be in developed countries this idea will be easy to apply but to make cashless society in underdeveloped countries where there are already so many major problems this need a long time.

Yes it really needs longer time to implement this kind of idea about cashless society,  because we are not only talking here the developed countries. We can consider those poorer countries and it maybe difficult for them to adopt the system of digit currency.  Educating people financed by government is the best key prior implementation of cashless spending.
710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Marketplaces to sell digital goods for Bitcoin ? on: July 18, 2017, 02:23:23 PM
I don't think the Reddit one is too popular. The forums are probably the best place right now. No third-party sites have really taken off as of yet (though I do hope at some point they do!).

Reddit is not yet popular so much but it is used by some community. I think its hard rules will not help to grow up his community fast, it is asking for 100 comments and to wait 100 days before you can post your things to sell there.

Who knows reddit will become popular and bitcoin is a developing currency to be adopted by the whole world, specially were now on the digital age of technology. The uprising competition of digital technology will soon dominates the country and people will feel more safer as they transact their digital goods purchases online. For now as very prominent sites like bittrex that's not impossible to happen also with reddit to be more well known site.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 18, 2017, 09:19:12 AM
Dont have any plan for august 1 ,but i secured my bitcoins in a wallet that i have full control of it. I even stop trading tjis month but i will continue it next month after the event.
If we talk about the plan for that date, I think no certain ideas for what I will be doing after that day. Maybe I will just keep secure of my tokens and bitcoin so that there will be no problems, if incase what happen to the exchange sites. For now we will just wait for the actual outcomes that may happen, and all we should do is always stay calm.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a relation between Bitcoinprice and Gold price? on: July 17, 2017, 08:37:12 PM
no. i think the decline is happening on bitcoin due to chain split in 1 august which causes the demand to decrease. there are many factors that determine the price of gold while the bitcoin price is determined by supply and demand.
I agree to that mate, the price will really matter between the supply and demand because of you have more supply many can buy; but if there is less I think everybody can sell their asset. That's how I view the scenario that had happened lately more were pulling out their eggs in the basket, just like bitcoin being sold lately and other's realized that there's no problem about that speculations around; buying back started again.
713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Android Bittrex App for mobile Devices on: July 14, 2017, 08:52:26 PM
Please view on google playstore new Mobile Bittrex - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=design.website.Bittrex

All trading is done via bittrex Exchange servers and the app holds no personal information.
I'm sorry but there are better actual apps, like tabtrader. all i would need is api keys to start trading. be careful folks, don't use apps like op has linked.

That's a better and easy way of trading which is so convenient to do while using bittrex at your mobile phones. I hope there is no bugs on that app, and there is one thing that I would like to know if that app can be trusted well like the other existing apps that's been introduced at the playstore particularly for android mobiles. Doing trades with bittrex will be done better and website trading will be having smooth activities to go as well from time to time.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: July 14, 2017, 08:09:53 PM
Bitcoin is better in many ways. The only problem, that it is not so stable, but in long terms it shows monster growth, which gold will never see again.
I do not care about the stable in the bitcoin price because it is what makes bitcoin unite and awesome than other cryptos. THerefore, we should use bitcoin no matter how bad it can be because developers know how to fix bitcoin and make it run smoothly
Yes that an awesome thing about bitcoin and if you compared it from other cryptos, its much higher advantage in terms of price stability for now. Eventhough it's not that stable, but generally the demand rises compared from fiat and gold. I couldn't agree more about it's good price for now, and all I have to say is no matter how hard the situation is; bitcoin is much better than gold.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 14, 2017, 02:25:59 PM
Will this coin on polo?
Who knows, gilgam will make into different exchanges, if this coin list on bittrex and polo ,it will create a huge pump on the price. Just hold your coins ,its worth waiting.

Let me add up a good motivations about gilgam's journey as it surge up high with the market of crypto soon and how I wish it could be at bittrex. If you have a good exchanger site I believe that the reputations of the site really matters most to traders who buy and sell their holdings. So hold it for now and never lose hope, because time will tell the exact situations.
716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hot wallet noob question on: July 14, 2017, 01:46:35 PM
Evreything online is risky. Anything can happen anytime. Cryptocurrency is obviously stated as risky and government has said that if you trade on cryptocurrency its at your own risk. If a website is compromised then it depends on the hacker to do whatever he wants. It just depends on our luck whether our coins are safe or not. If a coin can be stolen then fiat money can also be stolen if its at the same place. So there are possibilities that theft can happen on all currencies. Its better to use famous exchanges such as bittrex. But even that's not guaranteed that it will keep your coins safe.
Making your coins safe is by having an offline wallet back-up and I don't think so that it will be hacked by somebody. Eventhough government had a bad impressions on crypto currencies, but still it was just same as fiat money reputations; risk always prevails specially those hackers issue online that dismerit towards altcoins and btc investments. So the idea of ane ecrypted wallet with private keys is wise idea to have as a trader of digital assets.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling affected your life in a good way? on: July 14, 2017, 10:16:19 AM
As in everything it is possible to find a positive side even in the dark, like you lost everything on gambling, but at least you had fun and spend the time nicely, right?
I can't sare with you any consant positivly side of "the coin", because I had sa good moments as bad ones, and by the law when everything is good it's good and when I get lost - it worst.

I think that gambling has affected positively people when they are having fun when they are using it to bond. When the game is used purely for entertainment and not to profit. When poker and blackjack or dive and online betting are for bragging rights it makes people bond stronger.

But it cannot be prevented to aim for profit, because strong bonds of people doing gambling will become more entertaining. So people will intimately have their own desire to make fun and lucky profit ti be together to make sense of their gambling activities as well.
718  Economy / Marketplace / Re: to get the bitcoin should issue a capital? on: July 14, 2017, 04:03:11 AM

I was a little bit of trouble getting my bitcoin, karna is still new, please help master Smiley

Are you certain with your questions here? Well if your problem is on how to get your bitcoin,  I guess you should register any wallets like coinbase or coins.ph if you're living in the philippines. If ever you wanted to invest on bitcoin using your capital money, then you can store your money and deposit it online so you can hold it and wait for the time when price will increase. There were steps on how to deposit your money, good attitude of doing research through google can be learned.
719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Got scammed, any way to get it back? on: July 14, 2017, 12:42:31 AM
I'm new so sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread.

Long story short I accidentally used a scam bitcoin blender (bitcoin-blender.com or http://bitblenduun5mnwp.onion/) and got scammed for 0.1 BTC. Is there any way for me to get them back or am I just fucked? It may not seem like a lot but I spent all my money on it so it is a huge blow.

https://i.imgur.com/6S6jJaU.png

Thanks

Unfortunately there is almost no way to go after scammers on websites like this especially when you're dealing with cryptocurrencies. Luckily you only lost 0.1 bitcoins. I lost more than that when cryptsy scammed me last year. We are always taking a risk with our coins on these websites and exchanges.

Okay lets just believe that we really loss that amount of bitcoins at those exchanges,  but if you think of it,'s cheaper charges it was just a little bit dusts from your earnings from the sources you've been having. Well the risk is always present as well, so you needed to overcome fears about it; just stay focused and calm.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2017, 12:12:16 AM
I am not planning anything for now, i am waiting for all the drama to end to make up a plan on what my strategy is and then will plan on executing it after getting a clear picture, until then i will stick on with the amount of coins i have right now and not investing much into it until i get a clear picture.

Yes maybe we can think what's our next move after the activation of segwit2x. If it's successful or not.   It's hard to tell what will be the plans for the future right now but for now let's hope for the best.

Exactly we must hope for the best as segwit activation gathers alarming feedback by everybody, but we must remain strong enough to make a stand for this unpredictable situations. Have positive outlook and never lose hope and everything will be allright. For now best ways is hold your bitcoin and think long term investments.
