Hi Guys,

I have 1 coin for sale, its taken me nearly 1 month solid to mine it, and i am happy to sell it private, but given the extremely rare nature of this coin, the price is 0.1 BTC.

Here or PM.

J

LOL Cheesy I wts 100URX for 10 btc)))

it would have been nice  Grin

Just look at 42 coin, its around $21,000 per coin

Make me a sensible offer...

I made a screenshot where you can see CPU-Z, lapo mining transactions, getmininginfo (hashrate) and you can see THIS thread in background  Cool

https://imgur.com/a/kYKsFGL

But I'm to stupid to get it showing up here. Please open the link.

When I was mining, diff was around 0,4. Right now is 0.56

You have to find some blocks with 22 cores!? Strange if not.

But as you can see, I'm not kidding.

Hi,
I really appreciate you posting that pic.
Whilst the nethash rate is quite similar to what it is today, the diff, is significantly higher. I have been mining for 12 hours solid , and still no blocks, but the diff is 1.4 - 1.6, and i cant remember exactly how diff works, but the increase is much harder than it looks. Although it looks like 2 to 2.5 times more if i remember rightly the diff, is usually exponetial, so than 0.56 to 1.4 is more like 20 fold increase in diff...explains why i am not finding any blocks.

The other think when solo mining is latency. I hit this quite a lot being in the UK. When pool mining my 680 ish ms latency makes virtually no difference, but when solo mining, if someone else has say a latency of 10-20ms, then if we both submit together, they win every time....oh well, as i said before, i'm just too late, will have to wait for a pool...
Thanks
J

I hope this is allowed, because its CPU solo only for now. A GPU miner will be released later.

Project is called Lapo. Swiss made, with "real" team (linkedin links provided).

https://lapo.io

wallets here:

http://build.lapo.io

Bitcointalk:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2981605.0

Explorer:

http://explorer.lax.am

You can use built in miner. 1 block gives you 1500 LAX. Check ICO price!

hmmm,

I read this about 5 minutes after you posted it.
Whilst I was downloading the wallet and letting it sync, I noticed 2 things
1) The wallet was 5 weeks behind ! (original Ann was back in February)
2) The explorer was showing a hashrate of 0.1242 Gh/s, or 124.2 Mh/s

I thought, hmm, must be a real easy algo to mine, but then I found out it is Lryra2z.
So I have no idea what supercomputer you are using to find "a few blocks a day", but my 22 core cpu manages about 600 kh/s or 0.6 mh/s

Easiest way to mine lyra2z is with massive gpu farm now

Strange post...looks like you are simply promoting the ICO

J

I promoting the coin, thats true. I do it because I like the team and project (nice conversations at telegram).

But everything I wrote is true. Its CPU minable only at the moment (wallet + RPC + external miner is not working).

If I show you screenshots of my found blocks, you can say its photoshoped or something like "for sure you used a lot more computing power than a single I7 5820K can do". So believe me or not... but:

I promote the project because I own a Masternode. Guess how I managed to collect 1 million coins! I mined them with my homecomputer.

If I were you, I would give it a try for, lets say 24 hours. Pretty sure you manage to find some blocks.

Lryra2z: All miners are in the same boat. You dont have to fight against huge GPU rigs.

Check my other posts and my profile. Does it look like "not trustworthy"?

happy mining!

The reason I am wary is simple, i'm using a nIntel 22 Core Xeon E5-2699 v4 Broadwell Server CPU/Processor with HT, and in 14 hours mining not found 1 block, with a hasrate of 600Kh/s, so just wondering what your hash is, and how many blocks a day you are mining?
I would not accuse you of "photoshopping", just intruigued. Did you mine when the diff and hash were much lower?

As for gpus, if anyone knows how to write a private pool, then anyone could easily mine using MMR, they are doing about 135Mh/s for 24hrs for around $75, right up to 1.88 Gh/s, so like I say its not really a cpu algo anymore, and as soon as the coin becomes more popular, the gpu guys will cream all the rewards....

My bad really, I should have spotted this coin weeks earlier when the diff would have probably been a tenth what it is now....
Still interested in your hashrate thou, I often think these server cpus are not all they are cracked up to be, generally they have cores but sacrifice speed, and ram speed....often makes the difference.

Awesome software Sad
I get to an Ubuntu looking desktop, with 4 icons down the top left side.

Nvidia 1030GT
FM2+ MB with x4 845 cpu

Really great start

What now?

One thing i would like to know though...
I have been solomining this coin of 3 pcs. 2 windows 1 linux.
Until the announcement of the pool i have never had an issue mining, but now i get
"You are not authorized, check your login and password.
[2018-06-21 19:20:02] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds"

This has only happened since the pool came out. Don't know how, or why, but someone has fudged something, I am using exactly same pcs. software, wallets and miners, and all 3 stopped mining withing seconds of each other, and now 24hrs later, still wont solo....very suspicious. I'm guessing the coin was worked as the pool got released.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AnimeCoin [アニメコイン] [ANI] NEW OFFICIAL THREAD 2018 on: June 21, 2018, 06:17:00 PM
What hash rate is a single 1070?

Around 28 MH/s with -i26 (the highest i could reach).
Ccminer-1.6.5 displays 43 MH/s with -i20 but that does not match the pool effective hashrate (which stays roughly the same for both versions).

This seems reasonable, one block per 30 seconds means 2880 blocks per day, or 23k coins network-wise.
(28MH/2200MH assumed network power)*23k means around 300 theoretical coins per day, which matches observed mining results.

Ok, so that gets you to $2 a day using Cryptopia's figures, but i am in the UK, so deduct $1 a day min for power, more like $1.5 a day actually, so profit is $0.50 to $1 a day...
Why bother? I earn 10x that with my cpu...

9 months ago, a 750ti on i-8 was pulling min of 1250 coins a day, that why miners were easily hodling 250,000 coins, which they will start dumping anytime now....
Fraid this coin had its time to months 9-12 months ago...but i'm sure someone will happily prove me wrong....
All it needed was the miner who jumped all over it back then with stupid hashpower to have mined with 1 simple card and the diff would still be under 1, not the 3800 , but that seems to be how we mine now....its massive rigs or ure not a real miner....hopefully when BTC hits $5000 dollars lots of miners will give in and then we can go back to the essence of mining, mining in the background with your home/gaming pc making a few bucks, whilst keeping the blockchain ticking over gently...

hashrate already 2.2Ghs so no point in cpu mining this
I guess, but seeing this in logs bugs me.

Quote from: minerja
you'll need at least a 6 x 1080ti rig to make any profit on this now, even then i dont think you'll cover power costs.
You exaggerate. A single 1070 gives over $2 per day even considering the recent bear market (used to be around $5).

What hash rate is a single 1070?
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AnimeCoin [アニメコイン] [ANI] NEW OFFICIAL THREAD 2018 on: June 21, 2018, 04:16:11 PM
There seems to be an issue with some cpuminer/2.3.2 (i assume that's AMiner) users massively submitting invalid shares to the pool (a few dozen per second to be exact).
Though i tested AMiner with no issues, this may still be an obscure stratum difficulty glitch, if you experience this and you are sure your miner and network are working properly, debug logs would be appreciated.
Alternatively, you may try the latest cpuminer-opt or try increasing difficulty via password (-p c=ANI,d=0.1 for example).

Guys,

I need help from 1 long standing (read - trusted) member.
I really need to do a test for 24hrs with minimum of a 6 x 1080ti rig. Can split proceeds, please PM if you're prepared to take a gamble.
J

If you need the assistance on GPU cards choosing or anything related to graphic cards you can write a thread on altcoin mining section bro. If you wait here in this section you will not get the answer from any miner.
Hope you understand why I am saying. I am mining with rx 570 cards in my room bro but I am unable got your question. If possible brief it better than this and ask for help.

Hi, Thanks

Basically i'm after renting a 1080ti rig....i have tried in the altcoin mining section b4 but they always kick it, and tell me to post in here.....the sections should be clearer....

Dynamic network have botnet or GPU or ASICs. 3.5 Mh - 18 Mh on beastpool . This is the end, proffit is very small

Someone has developed a gpu miner, which is approx 4x - 6x faster they claim....what they are comparing it to, i dont know....but they are testing it with 6x1080ti rigs, so there goes a great algo....

For me the JohnnyFFM PoC1->PoC2 converter is reporting not enough disk space for in-place conversion.  Huh  Garbage.  Figures... it sounded too good to be true anyway, time to replot.

Hi,

Would be a little more informative if you said what size drive you are replotting, how many plots, how much free size....
I have used version 1.8 and 2.0 for each of my SMR 8TB drivers, some which have as little as 463MB free, and all have worked fine. (I have plots of 7 * 1 TB, 2 * 200Gb and 1 * remainder - 7.57TB formatted).

Dependent on your plotting speed, you could remove just your smallest plot, convert with Jonnys for the rest and then you just have 1 file to replot.

Or just have lower read speeds and dont even bother re plotting. If you're in something like the 0-100 pool, then it doesnt really matter how long your reads take, so long as you get all your submissions in.

Hi,

Do you need this for Linux or Windows?
I have windows version available immediately, might know someone who can help with Linux version.

What's the best altcoin miner right now? New ones keep popping up. I am confused

Sounds like you're not so much confused, more like can't be bothered.

What kind of coin do you want to mine?
What algos do you want to mine?
Do you want to mine with your cpu? Gpu? Asic?

A little more info from you might get you a more meaning full response.

Failing that, i hear there is this little thing called Google.

3 days 600h/s - 0

Nethash is too high atm... I still don't believe if this coin is only for cpu mining.  Huh
Of course it's not. Obviously there are GPUs (or even ASICs) mining this. I really doubt it is so well known to the point of so many CPUs mining it to be such high hashrate. My big question now is to figure if this being labeled as a CPU only coin (but not being in the reality) is intentional or not.

I would like to see data to back up your suggestion that there are GPU's and ASICs mining this. The dashboard at: https://freeboard.io/board/EV5-se has 500 H/s (Ryzen or Intel i7 systems can hit this hashrate) has a block at 1 - 1.5 days on average. At current prices that's almost 30,000 Sats in 24 hours. This is easily the most sats that can be made with CPU mining, freeing up my GPU's to mine Masari. Win / Win.

Whilst i agree that their probably isnt a gpu miner or asic, i have to say you are talking rubbish with the 30,000 sats. I earn many times more than than cpu ming with my Ryzen 7. You just gotta look much harder.
