You could pay off Twitter accounts secretly. Probably $5 to $50 a person per tweet. You could hire trolls who have multiple accounts on social media for $20 to $200 a day. You could pay youtube personalities to do a show on SHIFT for maybe $100 to $500. You could buy ads. BUT... EVERYONE FORGETS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: The SHIFT dev is ANONYMOUS!!!!!!!! You can't do media promotion with an anonymous dev. You need a Community member/Evangelist/Supporter like Andreas Antonopoulos. We need someone to be the face of SHIFT. Someone who knows it's inner workings and who can speak well in public. This would be a difficult job and why I'd be willing to give away quite a bit of SHIFT to this person. Better get your coin off masterXchange. I'm not sure what happens on Nov. 15th. I would hope they email you the private keys to your coins but you never know. many exchanges just keep the coins after they disappear.
You just need to withdraw your coin, no private key will be given.. Are you from masterXchange? You will probably have to get users their coins. Are you from the USA? You might go to jail if you keep the coins. What happens to the people who aren't paying attention or on a 2 month volunteer project helping starving children in Africa? |

This would extremely controversial but what do people think of this...
Add in a new premine of 100,000 GEO. Used for website promotion. Price is already pretty cheap. I don't think price would fall much more. If it did would anyone even mind? The hope would be the price after promotion would be a lot more.
Well we could start small, like add in a new 10,000 GEO bulk mine and see how many new users it brings in. Maybe restrict these new coins. You have to claim them with facebook. Then you have to post a coin on the map. Then you have to share on facebook what you did. Then you get some free coins.

If this coin wants to be taken seriously as not a scam, there needs to be a page showing all premined coin transactions with a description of it's use and the voting results.
When the DAO is up, thats pretty much exactly how it will work. Users will create spending propositions, and in the proposition it will have - unique_id - title - description - cost - receiver_address - voting_status And in the wallet gui one will be able to read through all the spending props, if they passed or failed and who got what exp when. This sounds perfect. I'm confused why ETH didn't have this. It's almost like they actually kind of suck. This coin could take over as the #1 Ethereum code based coin. |

This is a really fun website. As the website is right now it's good enough to have tons of users.
Now we need to pump up the price so that we can give away coins. We need that 50x price increase so that we can all give away free coins and users will actually want them cause its worth $5 to go find them. 50x price increase would only be a 1.5 million $ valuation. Pretty reasonable if the website had over 10,000 users.

The main problem with the Expanse is the orderly dump of the so called development fund. If it is dumped too quickly, price will crash.
Who is dumping the developmental fund? The blockexplorer shows that the devs addresses havnt made a single tx in a 3 weeks m8. The only people selling are the miners. Miners always sell. Why is this so confusing for everyone? This is true. So just imagine how low the price is going to go once the development funds get dumped! I'm just sitting on the side lines with this coin. No need to pay attention to this coin for another 8 months. If you're a developer this looks like a good chance to learn about cryptocoins and get paid in them. |

We agreed to pay Peter from Etherchain 0.2 BTC monthly or the equivalent in SHF. We had to pay a 2 month payment of 0.196 last week for the nodes which we had to cover from the premine, that is why I am trying to spend as little of it as we can.
Right now we have two options. If the community can collect the funds needed for the block explorer that would help very much. If not, we will pay for it as soon as possible, guaranteed, but that could be until next week.

Looking at your post history, you might need to consider learning about something called patience. The issue is being resolved as we speak. long, very long people love to panic, issue is being taken care off, you could always pay for your own explorer if you like. The issue is we just missed a payment to the site's admin. Since we are still careful what to spend premine on we have to wait a few days until we can pay in BTC instead of SHF. It would mean a lot if the community wants to help out but we will get there eventually on our own too. Kind regards How much are you going to pay for this?
