721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1.1 BTC in 35 Days on Sportsbet.io on: July 06, 2020, 02:02:50 PM
That's some huge winnings and little loses what a luck im even afraid to bet those big amounts because the tide of the game always change and it ends for me as a loss.
I guess i should follow your strategy and stick only to a sport i know very well and familiar with.

OP took a lot of risk here:  personally i won't take such high risk in gambling. Maybe he has the financial powers for such betting, for anyone to risk a huge amount in ethereum and bitcoin just for gamble isn't a fun. Happy to see you won the bets for good gains, am dumfounded for having the  time to gamble from the said 35 days and be able to pick a huge profits. This proves that there are still chances for any  gambler to win big irrespective of their skills in gambling. Hope to win good profit like this in future. Congratulations mate.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is very faithful on: July 05, 2020, 07:42:47 PM
There is no correlation between the said project and how faithful Blockchain is; the transparency of the project is commendable, for so long they have kept the project working till now. The problem with some projects that stay long are those that needed partnership but couldn't get the link. Am still hopeful for some good project around this industry that have long conducted their ICO, many of them are waiting for partnership from existing companies. Hope to see many bounty project s pay their hunters awesomely when they find the right partners.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend passed away and he have Bitcoin in his wallet on: July 05, 2020, 03:50:06 PM
yes tell his parents I personally have a box with instructions for my son and wife in case that happens to me
That's the right thing to do, nobody know when he or she is going to die but certainly we'll will do one day. Keeping things  like passwords and pass keys for out love ones to  check when gone is an advantage to the family, though, care must be taken to avoid revealing important information while alive.
Back to topic: OP should pass the message to the parent for them to check if they will find these keys to recover some digital currency from their beloved son that passed on. Our beloved ones should know our lifestyle and some secrets about our personal life to avoid lose of our inheritance with Bitcoin.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you hide your identity with bitcoin? (100%) on: July 05, 2020, 03:35:13 PM
In the issue of identity when talking about bitcoin is something that is complicated, off course bitcoin is anonymous but doesn't mean that, you can't be trace on the network for dubious reasons. Bitcoin is transparent and identity are also included on this, the only means to make yourself anonymous with bitcoin in terms of transactions is with the help of mixers around the industry.

I was having an argument with a friend. He says that you can't be anonymous to the bitcoin's network. Both nodes and wallets use, leads to an ip address where information can be found.

I had read in this forum that you can hide it with hardware? How exactly?
The hardest for anyone to do is for them connecting to all the possible nodes, most of these nodes doesn't allow or accept strange or new connections or from unknown source. Even at that, anyone who intend to connect to all nodes is likely to spend almost trillions of dollars or there about to make it possible.
725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 05, 2020, 02:19:21 PM
Unlikely,
If you have bitcoin you might like to believe it will go up, in the same way a church goer believes he will go to heaven.
The reality is, neither will happen.
Definitely on point, this months aren't the months of bullish according to Bitcoin history, this are the bearish month we're entry right now and due to the pandemic we are not going to see price rise but expecting another dip. For those who are still looking for a pump from the current state of Bitcoin price should rethink and research how bitcoin move in those months. We may not see what many speculators have predicted but hopefully after this year. July to October are always months of bearish, so, let's just hope for price surge November to December 2020.
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins can hit either $8k or bounce back to $10k - volatile times are back? on: July 05, 2020, 01:46:48 PM
I did not see volatility now but maybe in the future. Bitcoin has been moving in side way since the halving. I do believe that the uncertainty infect of covid19 has made investors not to have interest on the market.
But there is bubbles in volatility these days, we have seen many fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market and this has actually helped many traders save some stash. According to some traders: "there is gold in bitcoin volatility". For those who are serious minded traders, this should be the most favourable seasons for traders to make some good profits from bitcoin volatility. Imagine bitcoin dropped to $8730k and then moved up again to $9k+. Though the covid-19 impacts has come and gone, the cryptocurrency market still surpass the stock market and others in terms of growths.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: July 04, 2020, 04:18:27 PM
There are several projects that could unseat Ethereum, including Aeternity, Amoveo, Ardor, Ark, BOSCoin, BlockStack, Cardano, Chain, DFINITY, EOS, Genaro, Lisk, NEM, NEO, Qtum, RChain, RSK, Stellar, Stratis, Tezos, Waves, Zilliqa, and others.
Sincerely speaking, among all the listed coins in your opinion; none can actually withstand the strength of ethereum even though its still not scalable like others. The major contender in the cryptocurrency space which can stand against ethereum is the Binance coin. This coin has the strength to unseat the Queen of cryptocurrency(ethereum), with binance project team members this will be actualize in a very short time. In my opinion, the upcoming ethereum 2.0 upgrade will actually put ethereum into right perspectives and it scalability will be more robust than before.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 04, 2020, 03:50:10 PM
It is embarrassing, I could not believe it until I read it in several articles, I did not want to publish it, but I thought it was important to be aware of what our young people do in our countries and warn them about this type of action that can be classified as a crime.
Yeah, that could be a crime to humanity and the organizers should be brought to book for questioning. Human lives shouldn't be taking as just nothing before humans, they have the responsibility to keep their life safe from the pandemic ravaging the whole wideworld. Human lives should not be gamble with, the government of Alabama should stand against this act which is a crime to humanity. Other countries are trying harder to keep their covid-19 patients minimal why Alabama's are looking for more contacts to Covid-19, this is uncalled for, the government of Alabama should stand against this act.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery help? on: July 04, 2020, 03:35:50 PM

As you have said, it is nearly impossible. The aim is to give the most accurate lottery prediction is something that can't be achieved. Let's face the reality, accurate lottery prediction will never work all the time, unless you can see the future.
And sadly nobody can see the future. I think the issue is, lotteries are more difficult to predict because of the ways they are be handle, this lotteries has no specific ways or methods whereby you can predict it scores or numbers correctly. Some has been in  the opinion that, for anyone to be good in lottery prediction he or she must be good in probabilities or maths in general but this isn't working as many thought. I personally had apply so many skills and thoughts into be able to predict lottery or gamble but no avail. So, be able to predict lottery, is be able to read or see into the future.
730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Visiting official websites and download official apps, not fake ones. on: July 03, 2020, 12:40:24 PM
Quote
Don't:
- Google to find official websites because you can find phishing sites.
- Don't search on Google Play or iOS store to find applications.
- Don't click on links that are sent by anyone to install any application.

Google has one of the most notoriously slipshod app approval process, this make it app store most dangerous and anyone trending on it should trend with cautions. I attributed many mistakes to our inability to distinguish between fake and original. Here are some tips:

Check app developer: The name of the developer should be correct in spelling.

Ensure to disable app installation from unknown sources.

Check app permissions: you must be smart with this,  dubious permissions are on app store.

Always read reviews of others.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think players can play properly against a recovered Covid-19 opponent? on: July 02, 2020, 08:04:33 PM
In as much nobody insult anyone with covid-19 there will be no stigmatization which will turn to affect their performance during their play. But, in absence of this stigmatization from co-players or fans; there won't be anything that will act as depression on the players and they will play decently.
I don't expect someone who has been declared free from coronavirus to be thinking under wise which will affect his play on the pitch. I don't think those without the covid-19 will play better than those who contacted it but declared free.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock Fight on: July 02, 2020, 07:40:25 PM
In Nigeria, cock fight isn't popular among the people but we often see some northerners doing this on the parade ground in Abacha Barack. Although, the crowd isn't much like when there's a ram fight competition between competitors. The bottom line in all this is: animal fight isn't illegal nor legal in our country but not popular among her citizens.
733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to obtain merit on: July 02, 2020, 06:52:52 PM
<snip>. Focus more on improving the teaching of the blockchain focusing on Bitcoin as your main topics. Merits will definitely come if you are unique enough. My one cent. Cheesy

To be candid, you don't have to focus your topics on Bitcoin before you earn merit, neither making threads on Blockchain technology will give guarantee on merit on this platform, but be original in-all your contents. There is nothing to be afraid of, keep doing the right thing and the right individuals will be there for you with merit. We'll were onecs like you, don't be dumfounded being a newbie without merit, in due time they will flow in accordingly.
734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a plan of teaching college students in my neighborhood Bitcoin on: July 02, 2020, 06:21:45 PM
That's a good idea if they will embrace your free gifts to them as college students. Do you intend to teach them free without charges? Just asking because many of them won't take your lessons serious; when it is free, just speaking from experience though. Your kind should be appreciated for such initiative by your colleagues.

Advise: be patient with them because they are noobs and getting to hear some terminologies from the industry first time. Don't get into your teaches with "you can make hundreds, thousands or millions from cryptocurrency investment or trade". Show them how important to be with the right ideas when talking about cryptocurrency.

735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: July 01, 2020, 08:57:46 PM
Don't   be fool because you hear them saying: trading cryptocurrency is very easy for anyone to do. Buy low and sell high when the price rise.  These are just some lines from which you should be more careful with. Investment and trade are interesting things which can make anyone pretty good rich on a long-term if the right decisions are executed.

Gathering trade cryptocurrency information before beginning to buy low and sell high make the difference, you must be current with the latest information about the coins you want to buy or sell, this also include that of investment decisions.
736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nigerian SEC warns about iBSmartify investment on: June 30, 2020, 04:24:44 PM
Scams or ponzi schemes are not new to any Nigeria since the days of MMM, but the problem with us is the lack of trust towards the government. We tend to  trust random individuals who claim to be Blockchain experts or advisors. Those guys or fellows understand the weak-pont of every Nigeria that we need money to Carter for our needs. That, the government no longer care about her citizens and her citizens are feedup with their fake promises, so, everyone tends to fight for their lives.

In 2018, I went to Valencia Hotel at Wuse in Abuja when one lady invited someone from Libya to lecture us about a new project, after the lectures, they requested us to enrol with #60k -200k. But unfortunately, many of my friends did enrolled. I insisted that they're fraudsters but none could understand and they went with their investment money without any project in place. For security reasons; if you can understand this name:: Love***, then you should understand my point. She's popular among cryptocurrency submits mostly in Abuja FCT Nigeria.

During the lectures, they gave all participants some notes written by lawyers in defence, if eventually the project disappear, many foolishly accepted this and proceeded for payment in the process. It seem those guys are using something like jarzzzzzzz!.

NB.
Nobody care about your warnings accept their minds are not made-up for the journey, Nigerians are very much difficult to warn.
737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plagiarism in newbies on: June 30, 2020, 03:32:02 PM
I don't think the plagiarisers are actually new to the forum
Yeah plagiarism is not new matter in the forum accepted but the level of plagiarism in the forum is too high and needs to be eradicated.
It will be more difficult to eradicate plagiarism from this forum or from the internet. We'll agree at the rate of plagiarism, we can only suppress it growths on this platform but can't be eradicated. Even in the real world people still plagiarise their documents, pictures among  other things. But, working together for the good of this forum can drastically reduce plagiarise contents on this platform. There are several sanctions over plagiarise contents on the internet.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 30, 2020, 02:42:56 PM
Grin games you win without cashing out isn't a gambling platform and should be hit with more rules, they deserve this. Those games were my liken from childhood because I used to play with these games on phones. Buying virtual coins to game with real fiats money looks bad, this can  also lead many kids to early gambling addiction. The car race was my favourite among these categories of games, some of my gambling zeas (minor addiction) today came from here, and am still strongly with them.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: June 30, 2020, 02:24:59 PM
More reason why gamblers must be careful about the platform they gamble, doing a little research will definitely help not to give out your hard earned money to fraudsters. Believe me, many have been victim of this gambling casino before the police bursted them. For any gambling casino to think of ways in which they can extort gamblers means they are not reputable. Good that the police bursted them, probably for them to register the casino.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Alert] Scam attempt in the name of gambling house and moderator on: June 30, 2020, 02:08:12 PM
Candidly speaking, isn't strange to me because I see them everyday. Those who still pretty fall for these scam aren't experience types, rather newbies. If you work in a gambling site and you ever have the chance to make money, will you ever approach a stranger?. Nobody will do; but to approach their families. In fact, anyone who fell or likely to fall to this scam is a greedy fellow. Those who can control their greedy mind can never fall for this scam.
