Since more and more people are getting to know about cryptocurrencies, i can't wait to se what will happen in the crypto markets in 2018. I want to talk about coins to hold through out 2018, till December ending. I am not into pump and damp coins.
Below is my list. Tell me which coins under $1 you will hold till the end of 2018. For me personally, I think investing $1000 each into these coins will bring a good ROI. I will want to check this thread next year by this time, so i will include there current prices, just to compare by the end of 2018.
Of course i am not an investment adviser. Full disclosure I hold these coins for a long term.
Cardano (Ada): currently at $0.4
Burst: currently at $0.063
Digibyte: currently at $0.065
Dogecoin: currently at $0.008
Bytecoin: currently at $0.063
Siacoin: currently at $0.028
Good list. I would add these to the list. Powr, Bat, KCS, Xem, CSNO. They can give you good ROI but only if bitcoin price keeps rising which I think it will. |

Yes, it's another great project in crypto world which can make you of money if it goes up. I personally think that there are too many coins but I don't see why it can't hit 3x from here. I don't see how it would hit 100x given its huge supply. May be if they burn like 60% we can see bigger movement in the market. |

I don't understand how this guy got so much fame in the crypto world. He's an old school computer programmer. He's insane. And he Predicted bitcoin would go up? Well it was either going to go up or down. Predicting it going up doesn't it make you some crypto God.
It's as if I predicted it will rain tomorrow and if it does, calling myself a weatherman. Then, instead of lots of people checking the news for the weather they check my twitter. Its nuts.
the way I see it he is just speaking his mind and promoting alts that'll make him most money. that's what most people do on twitter so you have to do your research and go from there. |

DGB has been very good to me so far. I bought it at 90 sat and it shot upto 545 sat. Looks like it's coming down now, I would wait on it to start the cycle once more like it always does. hope people made profit.  |

I will have 5K USD in 2 weeks and I am thinking which combination of altcoins should I go for. I am a high risk taker and this year I invested 8K into stocks without much gain so I am moving to crypto because the gains are very good. I wish I would have entered 6 months back at least and I would have got amazing results but I feel its never too late
I see IOTA making good ways but again its not proven and its decentralized .. Reddcoin or Siacoin . I want to invest in coins which have low value as of now so when they increase I be able to get good gains.
Please recommend which altcoins you think are best?
buy them only if you can hold them for years. They may gain value in short or long term but you have to be dedicated to your investment and not chicken out when market reacts to some news. Reddcoin is not a great investment and lately it has turned into p&d, you can still make money but not something I would invest in. Sia, Xvg, Pivx, Bitbay, Ada, Powr, Etc. all of them are good investment in my opinion. However, do your research and invest in the ones that you can stick with for long term. Alternatively, you can keep them in btc since most alts are dependent on it or like someone mentioned diversify it between btc and alts. |

Christmas/New Year. If anyone remembers bitcoin crapped during this time when it first pumped over $1000. I think some are selling due to that but others are selling due to panic attack and chain reaction. I have mentioned earlier that in my opinion this would follow till first week of January before everyone is back from holidays. Good time to buy, not so great time to sell. Hodl

He sold it all but he said he'll be there for the development. I think people were blaming him for pump/dump. Market hasn't really reacted to him dumping his coins. I think ltc should be good. I highly doubt he dumped all he had but who knows.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. thought about investing in verge before pump but I held back. I don't really regret it. You gotta invest in alts that you can hold for few years without regret else panic will ensue as soon as there is some dump or price isn't going where you want it to go. Hope you get it all back soon through other investment. |

You need to stop thinking of hitting certain amount by certain point when you're investing or atleast give more room than just two months. Those are good alts you have choosen and they may make you richer than your current investment but if you put time limit you may get disappointed. |

It's not interest exchange for me. And I think Hero team could started at least with HitBtc. I wish PLAY will be listed on more successfully exchanges.

It's one of the largest exchanges possible so at least is maybe the wrong phrase You have no clue how expensive it is to get listed on that exchange mate They should really work out with HitBTC, I've to agree with him. Coinbene hardly got any volume, seems pretty useless exchange to me. few posts ago you were happy that it was listed on coinbene. I think it's much better than etherdelta. There is no point adding it on bigger exchange before some big development is completed, it will get massacred. Sometime ago I had my alts stolen from hitbtc so not something I recommend anyway. |

Don't celibrate too soon... This might be just a small correction, BTC is still a hell of a brand name. Also, on all exchanges BTC is the most common (and often only) pair vs. alts. It'll take a long time for a flippening to happen, and it'll be painful in the short term as well
I agree with this. BTC still dominates 47.1% of the market. little below what it was last week but I don't see that as bad sign. just little correction and it'll cross $20k now. I wouldn't comment on dethroning it alts would bleed. We all have seen it before. |

What is the good news of QTUM, pumped so much these days, is there any real implement? Or just pump and dump news.
i also want to know, but i just didnt find any good news, maybe the whole market is like this, maybe there are too many good news before It was mentioned few pages earlier. this might be the reason. There are more ICOs launching on Qtum than any other platform except Ethereum. All the asian ICOs are choosing qtum. I think its only a matter of time before this coin is 100$+

coinbase just added bch to their exchange that might be the reason but it's still as risky as it was on first day. I wouldn't recommend anyone invest in this for long run. I have not seen more volatile crypto in my entire life.

In longterm I think IOTA price can grow up to 500$.
really? what makes you think it'll reach $500. Have you looked at total number of coins? I think $10 is more likely, if it reaches $50 I'll be very surprised and happy. I had speculated that it would reach $5 between December and January and looks like I was right with that prediction |
