People buying this crap with the hope that they'll make some profits deserve to lose their money. Period.
742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: eBoost is a SCAM !!! on: November 23, 2016, 04:26:12 PM
spartak_t, I think I missed your proposal, hence passing it by. Please refresh my memory so that I can resee said, then with perhaps as to why I purposely brushed it aside. (not a diss, bud - would serious love to see what you proposed)

You have PM.
743  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: eBoost is a SCAM !!! on: November 23, 2016, 09:23:08 AM

Unreal!!!  How does any one human dig up so much shit on anyone?!?!??  Scares me just to think about it!

You have no idea. I'd like to use this example:

Not trying to be a smartass, I'm just trying to show what I basically do when I spot a scam. If people decide to take my 'advice' and do their own research - fine, if not - it's their problem. I also consider myself as a 9th dan black belt in 'Google Fu' (cryptodevil used that definition, I laughed, and I liked it very much Smiley), but guys like cryptodevil, tmfp and Gleb are putting so much effort to show all the evidence they have. I had a proposal on how to make this more productive (and viral). cryptodevil is basically up to, tmfp listened, but 'disappeared', suchmoon said he/she's paranoid and later didn't responded and Gleb + Spoetnik just passed it by. Smiley But I'm fine with that. When people are being scammed with millions of $, you can then feel free to post another thread titled: "I TOLD YOU SO!!!".

746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A new altcoin scam (PipCoin). on: November 22, 2016, 12:16:45 PM
This one just came to my attention. I don't want to create a thread in the Scam accusations section as I will need about 10 years to gather all the bs "info" about this and put it in a single thread. All I am asking you to DYOR on "Ref Wayne" and PipCoin. This video is a good starter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSMh6nSkoXU

I only trust an ICO that starts here in forum.

Where are your proofs? From what I see it is a simple script coin, which is most likely premined, but ICO?
750  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OKCoin.com is becoming SCAM! on: November 22, 2016, 06:41:03 AM
I don't think that OKCoin is going to scam someone for $22k (though, for example, it is a big sum to me and the delay could be frustrating), but I notified them about this accusation:

751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eBOOST Coin ? on: November 21, 2016, 05:16:56 PM
Then this is a complete failure. Currently its being traded at like 20 times below the ICO price, and the trade volume + buy orders are mind boggling. Smiley

People who ar investing to these ICO should first make due diligence, not because they are showing their profile we are trusting them Ico has become a legit way to scam others for some devs.

Thanks for the lesson...
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eBOOST Coin ? on: November 21, 2016, 03:48:54 PM
Its not gone, but it seems there's not much interest in it: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-EBST (trade volume is under 0,4BTC). How much they raised via ICO and what was the price?

They raised around 202 BTC,
the price to buy was 0.00026144 BTC per coin.

Then this is a complete failure. Currently its being traded at like 20 times below the ICO price, and the trade volume + buy orders are mind boggling. Smiley
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inventing the Altcoin on: November 21, 2016, 09:10:02 AM
A state/government can just create its own currency and you can use it via CC for example. You don't need to "touch" it. Most of the money in circulation are just numbers on someone's screen. Sweden is soon most likely to be the first cashless country in the world. The question here is not IF, but WHEN. Blockchain technology can be still considered as fragile and it would take (imho) at least 5-10 more years, until banks implement it.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The developer of DAO are launching new DAO on: November 21, 2016, 07:58:27 AM
Their miscalculation of the % of the world's GDP is outrageous, because we are talking about trillions of $ and all you need is a simple math (divide ~$75 Trillion to $373 Billion). You can wonder what might happen in the code.......... The last DAO has shrunk the market cap of cryptocurrencies with some ~$2,5 Billion in one week.

Just took a look at this blog post (https://blog.daohub.org/charity-dao-2866758669a4#.b2btxp5v3) and stopped reading right after the first sentence, which says: "$373.25 billion was given to charitable organizations in 2015 (2.1% of the world’s GDP).". FAIL! World's GDP is about USD $73-75 trillion, so if we assume that these numbers are correct, then these donations should be about 0,5% of the world's GDP. That's a huge miscalculation!

Hello,

Rename your conf to FailCoin.conf and try again. I think that should be the problem.

zerohedge

The news came from zerohedge, but there's a reason for that. Use your Google Fu and find out why. Bottom line is that regulations are coming and I mostly blame scams. Why? Because the 'cryptoworld' is still not entirely developed (you see what happens with the new tech etc.). The banks and some of the big companies are exploring blockchain technology, but they are still relatively far from implementing it, because of one simple reason - it has flaws. That's also why I don't like (the way they got funded, the market speculations etc.) 'coins' like Ethereum or Zcash. Banks are often using an old code, which was proven and its working. Simplicity is what should help cryptocurrencies to be adopted, not 'nerds' saying: "This is awesome!".

It appears he is 37 and from bulgaria.

That can't be true. I didn't researched zerohedge, but if he was a Bulgarian I should have known this.

Can you post a link to where you got your information from please?

I can post like 20 sources, but imo these are enough:

Have you heard the news? IRS is asking Coinbase to provide transaction records of ALL of their users over 2 years. Just few days ago there was a SEC fintech panel, which I've been watching, since Emin Gun Sirer participated and I like his visions. Regulators are jumping on Bitcoin more and more and this affects entire 'cryptoworld' (i.e. +altcoins). I hope you, Polo whales, ICO scammers and I-wanna-make-$5-profit-no-mater-if-it-is-a-shitcoin-scumbags made enough money and I wish you bright future!
