That is cool
Did you have to adjust the API settings to get it to work?

I mean a ton as in lots of little USB miners and a couple larger ones.  No way to pay the $64k copay and then the $28k ER and hospital stay that ensued after trying to get home after the surgery.
Can't win some days.

Some success with MM and the Blizzards.  My first Blizzard is Gen1 uses the Sil Labs Drivers.
Batch 2 and later use FTDI.  So fun with drivers and batches.  LOL
I am working on minepeon for them anyways until I can get them sold.
I have a ton of mining hardware to sell I should start a thread.  I have to get rid of it for room and to pay for my surgery co-pay.

Well that sucks but at least you have the gear to sell and pay for your surgery co-pay eh?

I was just posting up to report that MultiMiner is now detecting my RK-Box miner running on an R-Pi controller.  Grin

Does anyone have a direct link to the newest image?
I just DL'd the image I thought was the newest from the site but it does not have Freq adjustment boxes and it is very unstable.
Thanks

I have been loving the Blizzards.
They are fun and so many software and hard ware tweaks they have been great.
I'm currently looking into Pi images that are GUI so I can run my 3 Blizzards on a Pi full time.

Exactly why are you posting this rant in a Blizzard/Fury tuning thread?  The people here own the gear and are interesting in having fun with it not your QQ, go and troll one of the miner sales threads.

Me too.
I just wanted to be sure I had the correct set.
Standard is good.
Both of those power supplies are beasts.  It should be interesting to see how they perform.

What length are the supplied power cords going to be?

they don't come with power cords, you need to buy them yourself, it's just kettle leads (if you are in the UK you know what this is)

my mistake then, Collider's post said "include" which lead me to believe. I know the SP10's shipped without, but we easily knew what type of end we needed beforehand, now it might be a guessing game haha.

ah, in that case i may be wrong... but the power cords are easily obtainable most places, I always have a few kicking around just in case.. lots of appliances use them
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: July 13, 2014, 12:42:06 PM
Thanks for sharing that.
I know about the power consumption issues and the promises for Blizzard buyers as I have 3 myself.
I did not have shipping issues in fact the last two I ordered showed up in just 3 days each time.
That does not mean all is good.
I know the details of the GAW deal though.
I appreciate your sharing this.
Thanks.

Could you fill me in on the shifty part?
I know there are all sorts of things that went on but I am not up on them all and I actively purchase from Zeus, GAW, ZoomHash, 112bit and others and I do not want to screw myself over if there is more going on.

Its a free resource and anyone that wishes to contribute, can. Some people want to help protect people from Terry at Zeusminer because he is shifty and cant be trusted.
hence the WARNING

My personal experience with Zeus Miner has been overall deplorable.  I bought some Blizzards from them, but they changed the power consumption specification by 3X and just shipped hardware before anyone could say anything.  Its clear they knew well in advance that their promised 15 watts was wrong and instead its 48watts.  Rather than telling us Batch 1 customers of this huge change they said "things aren't ideal with these but we can ship them as is, or delay and improve the specs".  They never gave specifics on what changed just were vague about it.  So they started shipping these before anyone could read between the lines.  Once they arrived we all learned the sad truth.

Next, Terry kept promising to make things right for Batch 1 customers.  He did make decent amends for the larger clients who bought the bigger rigs, but Blizzard purchasers got screwed.  We got these lousy coupon codes to buy more overpriced hardware from him.  So if your ROI was non-existnt before it certainly wasn't going to improve by buying more hardware.  To make matters worse, he jacked up the shipping prices!  For example, I bought 5 Blizzards and paid $50 shipping.  To use the coupons and buy two more Blizzards I'd pay $50 in shippping EACH even though they shipped in the same fricken box!

Next, Terry kept promising that their ZeusHost and ZeusHash services would be up and running by now.  It was only recently that they finally got their act together and fixed ZeusHost. However, those of us waiting on ZeusHash are again screwed by their delays.

Next, GAW was undercutting Zeus prices and offering better compensation to everyone who got screwed in Batch 1...so Terry had a talk with them and what do you know???  Their prices were increased to match Zeus's.

Next, delays in shipping overall.  Many folks who are ordering hardware from them have groaned about the delays in shipping.  Also many folks are complaining that because of the duty/import costs of how these are labeled some folks are paying more for importing into their country vs. others.

Finally, Terry's been pushing to sell more of his overpriced hardware and less interested in talking to all of us disgruntled customers.  Every step of the way he's been pushing tactics (e.g. coupons vs cash refunds) to ensure the money stays in his pocket now that he has it.

All I know is I've learned my lesson and I'll never do business with Terry or ZeusMiner ever again.  They only care about turning a buck, and making it look like they give a shit so unsuspecting folks buy their shit hadware.

Cool thanks.

This is good to know.
Will they ship with US compatible power cords for units that are coming here?

Due to repeating questions:

SP30 AC/DC Power Supply unit guidelines - SP30 PSU
30 with 2 Emerson PSUs will include 2 IEC C19-C14 power cords while a SP30 supporting Murata will have 2 IEC C13-C14 power cords.

Country-specific power cords are usually purchased by the user themselves.

752  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: July 13, 2014, 01:06:31 AM
I think any promotion is good at this point.
The more we can get people to notice it the better.
There are no real negatives to NastyPool and NastyMining.  As people learn they will join.

I'd like to see an opinion poll on whether it is a good idea to offer a signature advertising campaign on these forums.  I figure it would be a good way to help get the word out, even if just for a short time, but don't want to do anything that might reflect negatively against NastyFans.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: July 12, 2014, 11:44:55 PM
None.
ASIC = Application Specific Integrated Circuit unless it can be reprogrammed via firmware it is not going to be able to handle those plus it does not have the ram for it.

What are the chances that the fury / blizzard will be able to mine other coin algo's like x11, x13, x15 etc. with special software in the future?
754  Economy / Securities / Re: distribution 310297 on: July 12, 2014, 10:01:17 PM
That is great nonnakip.
Keep up the great work.  I keep spreading the word about NastyPool and NastyFans and your great work with P2Pool.

Distribution 310297 is complete. Thank you donators.

With this distribution the first minted seats pass payout threshold of 0.001 BTC.

MM supports all sorts of Algos not and you can switch fairly easily between them.
I have a setup that uses MM and it controls GPUs that switch between Darkcoin and Vertcoin as well as controlling Zeus Blizzards, Rockminer R-Boxes and RedFury's all on different coins and smooth switching.

I haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread, but is MM supporting auto-algo switching yet?

It's been a challenge just for the miners to keep up with all the new algos, so not sure devs can. I want to do auto algo switching on Wafflepool, I have it working on nicehash, as they support it on their side, but I'd prefer to mine at wafflepool and switch myself.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner 3.2 w/Remoting: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: July 12, 2014, 08:16:02 PM
It is .NET that it is always the culprit from what I see.
I have to laugh as MM can crash out and the miner software it controls still runs and the pool side results are fine.
I have added all .NET updates and versions relevant and it is on Win 7 and Win 8.1 same results across 3 systems.
Nate will get us set I am sure.

That is odd I wonder if it a server move or blip.
I have noticed that MM will stop running but the miners all mine fine poolside.  LOL
So odd.
Nate we miss you.  I hope your enjoying your vacation we have lots of questions when you get back.

MultiMiner quit reporting my secondary GPU rig just the other day and just today, my main GPU rig also quit reporting to MobileMiner. I also noticed my dashboard is down but I might need to pay for the upgrade for that.

Yeah I wish I knew more but I had everything offline for a few hours today so I am not sure when it happened. I intend on poking around this weekend to see what I can figure out.

758  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: IN STOCK * Yiazo YBF Bitfury miner 30 up to 380GH/s * 75 EURO on: July 12, 2014, 04:29:31 AM
I wrote the review.
I have to say the controller with the built in miner software is a shining gem in these miners.
Setup was fast and easy and it is very very stable
I know price is a bit high just like when the OneString miners I also reviewed first came out.
I am definitely looking forward to what they can do and keep doing in the future.  If they get the first batch sold the 2nd gen prices will come down I am sure.  I am impressed with the Yiazo for sure.
Keep up the good work guys.  Smiley

759  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: RK-BOX,450GH/S,480W ,shipping date 25th on: July 11, 2014, 10:30:21 PM
Hmmm that is not good.

With the reject rates has anyone tried going to a pool like BTCG and manually setting the difficulty?  That seemed to fix the reject rate for the coincraft 1 th/s units I have had.  Letting the pool manage the baseline left high reject rates for some reason.  When I manually set the base the problem stopped.

No dice here.
760  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive RockMiner R3-Box Setup [HD] on: July 11, 2014, 10:13:21 PM
Yes, Zadig is for cgminer.
MM uses BFGMiner which uses the standard Sil Labs driver.

Multiminer wouldn't find any rocks, just my ant s1's. Maybe have to remove zadig driver?
