761  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Client Executives Kidnapped, Forced to Empty Crypto Wallets on: November 14, 2023, 02:19:31 PM
The reoccurring physical attacks is becoming worrisome and this is enough reason to discourage people who go about bragging and flaunting their crypto wealth on social media.

Back then, other people always bragged or flexed about their crypto wallet but they had no knowledge of keeping their identity hidden so when the criminals could reach them easily, they were kidnapped or forced to send their bitcoins to the attacker's wallet address. You can search on the internet, I remember there is a site that listed every incidence related to this matter in the last 10 years and they were accurate. When you read that news, you won't be bragging about your crypto ever again because of how it ends up for the victims.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 14, 2023, 01:02:48 PM
Everything has a risk right now including investing in altcoins but since the crypto market is looking good and the results of other projects are completely good, you are recommended to invest in one of those, especially with the kind of price right now and there are circumstances that other altcoins are not recommended for investment due to the fact that other projects cannot keep up with their competitors and they are bound to lose and have a low chance to increase the price of their coins. Nevertheless, it depends on the project if they are still active in their development and updates because if they are not, their coins are not worthy of our time and money.
763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't leave your coins in an exchange on: November 14, 2023, 09:51:34 AM
Yearly, some of the known exchanges face some huge trials and others become victims to hackers and only a few of them have recovered their funds and paid their users with them. others are not capable of doing it because they don't have any means to do so. That's why when you lose your cryptocurrencies to hackers in the exchanges, there are low chance of getting them back. that's why everyone always recommends you have your own personal wallet that only you can have full control of. Sometimes they get frozen because of some malicious activities that are linked to your account.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 14, 2023, 09:17:44 AM
luck doesn't exist people just make bad decisions and blame "luck", or they don't plan their bets or anything

Some other people follow those who are successful in their lives because they think it is the right way since they can see the results with their own eyes from those people. That's why when a popular celebrity tweets on some investment platform even if it's a scam project, people always follow them even though their account at that time was hacked and compromised. So it's not about luck at all but experience and knowledge will make you successful in your business.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: November 14, 2023, 07:51:23 AM

If someone has won at gambling and he is still waiting for the gambling to end while placing a small bet then subconsciously that person will slowly run out of money because he is unable to control his behavior when gambling, he should go home and enjoy his winnings by having fun. And it is true that if someone is greedy, it is very difficult to have a good mindset not to continue gambling and we still often encounter behavior like this in the field.

Sadly, there are more people in the gambling industry who cannot control themselves when they are winning and they are not capable of doing that because they are addicted to it. It's really hard to stop playing when you have all the means to do so but in reality, you need to stop and not be greedy because no one has ever been successful in this world when they cannot be satisfied with what they currently have. Rather they keep grinding until they lose everything because they even choose to take huge risks like gambling just to increase their wealth or to become rich quickly.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every man you failed to lecture about Bitcoin can be a victim to scam on: November 14, 2023, 07:30:57 AM
If they approach me and are willing to learn about it, I always tell them the truth and not sugarcoat my words or just cherry-pick nice stories in order to recruit them to be one of us. rather I make sure I explain it well to them and tell them everything I know especially when it comes to preventing themselves from scammers and hackers. I also conclude my teaching about bitcoins with the volatility of the crypto market so that I am free of any blame when they decide to invest after I explained it well to them. Some people don't ask you anything but rather underestimate you and they go by themselves to invest without any proper knowledge of crypto, this is not your problem at all when they mess up.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 13, 2023, 02:19:27 PM
Unfortunately the era of the Splash Brothers seems to be fading. The team is already fatigued if you know what I mean. They require a strong big man and speed. The Warriors are in desperate need of a good center. Looney alone isn't sufficient against bigger, younger players. Surprisingly, Moody and Kuminga seem to outperform Wiggins and Klay as much as it pains to admit.

Obviously, is the Denver Nuggets area because of Jokic and Murray if they can get to the NBA finals this season and win the championship there will be no doubt about that. The Splash brothers are still fine because they won the championships not too long ago these last 10 years. But as we all know when you get older you begin to feel the change and we are seeing it from them right now that's why Michael Jordan retired early, he chose to carve the minds of the fans during his prime without giving them any idea of how would he be play when he is no longer making those good plays.
768  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In Panama 77y Old Man Schoots 2 Protesters Blocking The Street! on: November 13, 2023, 01:37:57 PM
People should learn how important other people's life is and they cannot just take it easily because they will surely pay for it when they murder those people without any rights to do so. We always need to consider every possibility not to take life or not to hurt others because killing is the worst thing you can do to a person who has no intention to kill you. Now that has happened, I wonder what will the government do to this guy. Will he go to jail for the rest of his life or he will be punished more than that?
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: November 13, 2023, 12:54:12 PM

The key is even if you are chasing your losses, you shouldn't risk more than you can afford to lose. Yes, it might be a painful loss, but not a catastrophic one still. We, gamblers, all have those unfortunate moments, but it's not like we are losing everything and borrow money to gamble more, like irresponsible gamblers do.

It's not that easy to stop because there are times when you have the means to play again and you just can't stop yourself from doing it again and again until your body gives up. this is how when you feel like you are not getting any peaceful feelings in that place, you should leave and not go there again. Some people go back when they lose their money for the first time or go with their friends but this is not good because if you can't control yourself at this moment, you will end up taking loans or borrowing money until you lose every option you have. Don't be like those people who have lots of money because when they lose their businesses are still there and you on the other hand lose everything you have and you need to start from scratch again.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: November 13, 2023, 12:20:49 PM
If you think the price of ETH is cheap right now and you have all the means to buy it, you can always go ahead and think positively about the outcome. Right now, everyone is recommended to buy as many cryptocurrencies as they can in order to earn as much as possible when the bull run comes. But they just need to keep it mind that they cannot overhype themselves when it comes to their total budget because this is just an investment and there is no total guarantee with it especially with the crypto market not being stable all the time.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 13, 2023, 11:52:17 AM

But Alex was in a perfect position to land even more punches. Before falling to ground, Jiri already ate bunch of elbows and hammer fists. Ref did his job perfectly imho. I dont think that Jiri would do much on the ground; besides Pereira was in full mount. Jiri could try to do something for more 2-20 seconds, but the bombs was already ticking, and from that position Pereira could land more damaging punches. Even after the fight Jiri admitted that there wasnt early stoppage.

"Hey Adesanya, come to daddy" ŠAlex Pereira Cheesy

Do you guys think they can still have another rematch if they want to? But I think it's not fair because Adesanya has not won his previous fight. it could be best for them both if Adesanya has a rematch against Stickland and wins it before he is given a chance to fight Pereira again for their last rematch in the UFC. They might be this hostile against each other today but most likely both will become a good friend in the future because of their experiences and memories after all this is all just business and no one should take it personally when they step outside the ring.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Personal data of 300K users, provided at BTC ATMs, allegedly in hacker's hands on: November 13, 2023, 11:25:59 AM
Honestly, this is not good, especially for those people who are vulnerable to attacks because they don't have enough security in their homes. There are lots of incidents where people are kidnapped and attacked to steal their bitcoins from them after they flex their BTC balance or someone just knows they have them. they were forced to ransom their selfs in order to save them from these bad people who wanted to steal their BTC. That's why we really need to save our address in order to prevent such things from happening to us especially our personal address and BTC balance.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 10, 2023, 05:30:40 PM

Gambling is for adults regardless of age, there's no retirement age in gambling I doubt if there are casinos that restrict players to play at specific age whether, on landbased casinos or online casinos, you can only retire from gambling if you cannot see the cards or have a hard time with your vision or having a hard time with your movement, even if you like to play if the body cannot keep up that's the time to retire from gambling.

That's what I thought as well because as we already know gambling is not like a sport where when you turn 40, you consider retiring because your body is no longer capable of hard work. While in gambling you won't have that problem and the longer you play the more you get addicted to it. That's why others called it quitting because you are not necessarily retiring rather you are turning away from it because you want to save yourself from further distraction. Some people just quit playing whenever they feel like it has more harm to them than getting benefits from it.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex was hacked (Security Breach Discussion) on: November 10, 2023, 04:56:02 PM
The hackers obviously will have a hard time liquidating those coins but I don't think they just gonna let the opportunity slide and take that 5% reward from Poloniex rather they wait for the right time to totally steal those coins. This is not good news for the crypto community since bitcoin price is slightly increasing these days and I doubt it will gonna continue because of this hacking incident once again. Exchanges should really quit if they cannot secure their platforms because they just compromise their users every time they get hacked and lose the funds of their users.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 10, 2023, 04:26:03 PM

The 19 points playing under 20 minutes with over 50% shooting is not bad at all. Maybe he could have made more attempts but I think he did well with the time he spent on the court.
Their center that was barely useful on both scoring and rebounding. It's alarming when the one who is supposed to control the boards only have 1 in 28 minutes.

It would be nice if they won since it was the comeback game after Giannis got one of the worst call ejections in the NBA in their last game. But that's just the way it is, when it comes to performance, they were doing great but the Indiana Pacers were destined to win that time I'm pretty sure that they don't want to make the same mistakes again because it cost them a huge negative trust for whoever take the few last shots at the last minutes of the game and it might be bad for them because fans expected too much since they acquired Dame.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Angry at the high fees? That's what everyone predicted the future will be like! on: November 10, 2023, 03:56:15 PM
Instead of complaining, we must look at its positive view and the opportunity it created for us to secure our assets because, without the help of bitcoins, we could still be prisoners to the banks and do everything as they say. Those transaction fees are nothing compared to what we have right now and the price of bitcoins is increasing and that's understandable to many investors because they already know this could happen every time the price of bitcoins increases due to the congested networks.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 09, 2023, 01:24:45 PM
Yes! I have been in that situation but it was a long time ago when I was in high school, I saved all my money just to play when I got home back in the day and sometimes we gambled inside the campus in our own way. It's the people who are with you who will make you do things that you aren't familiar with like gambling. As soon as I realized I was with the wrong people, I left and chose another company to enjoy life and I found the right friends which I still have right now even though we have our own families, we still hang out sometimes and make some resourceful activities that helps us grow.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: November 09, 2023, 12:46:07 PM

We are almost having similar situation in Africa, where leaders in government position have put restrictions on cryptocurrency and some of  it's activities in some countries, however that's it's just temporarily, because the good news of bitcoin is coming like a moving train to the nooks and crannies of the entire continent.
But for the US government, I believe the issues will be resolved, because the US the government understands the importance of cryptocurrency in the market and how reliable it is.

Some of the governments just wanted to save their people from scammers and Ponzi Schemes because when people are still learning about crypto and others in their country are still ignorant about it, the scammers mix real information with their schemes and encourage their victims to invest in their project like the old cloud mining we once had in the internet and it was the most trending at that time when there were no ICOs and other. right now, people need to have proper knowledge about crypto so that their government will have no problem opening the opportunity to invest for them.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 09, 2023, 12:10:42 PM
Everyone big star wanted to have a fight just before the end of the year and December is the best date to make that happen. looks like this is not something to get excited about because we all know what the result would be. I don't think this will get him big revenue but judging for what he has already accomplished, that doesn't really matter. I don't think money is important this time for him and looks like he just want to further stretch his winning record.
780  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump make world peaceful place on: November 09, 2023, 11:48:20 AM
I don't know if he really means what he said in his interviews if he gets back the seat and makes a difference in whatever Biden has done in his term. Obviously, Americans should make some wise choice in this coming election and never vote for someone who is a puppet like Biden, Obama, or Bush. I'm not saying they should go for Trump but I'm sure they don't need a puppet president once again to start another war because it could be the last time they could choose a president because the next war will break out, will ignite a high chance for World War III.
