761  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: July 23, 2022, 09:42:53 PM
Investment conversion is not enough just to rely on bitcoin, we need to look at other coins that are strong and can provide maximum profit, assuming as you mentioned, that 70% for bitcoin and the rest we use in other coins, thus the investment we make, will impact on every decision that is taken, because in truth investment is a way to get maximum profit
There are many investment opportunities like the local investment in real estate and also in the booming businesses like Airbnb and food store.
but obviously  coins  are more quick in giving the return than other investment but know the merits and demerits before you jump in to it.
762  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: July 23, 2022, 09:29:07 PM

During the lockdown the rich invested on tech industries that kept them engaged on online business availability for people who haven't used online services earlier. This brought good return on the investment in the short time period. During the same time period the poor people lost their jobs and were facing the hard days of life. Now only slowly getting recovered. This is how the rich and poor gap got widened. With time this will come back to normal.
You are very right - rich people invested while the poor people struggled.
Many rich people invested in patrol and became more rich and people like us are always worried and keep an eye on the fuel gauge. What a life we live.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: July 23, 2022, 09:25:20 PM
Hard to predict but I guess at least 50% more guns  Smiley
I am not sure why it is 50% when that is a super power - people are getting their needs and government is rich and able to manage the big chunk of their population.
What to talk about the under developed country.
764  Economy / Economics / Re: U prepared for great depresion or u want to be surprised? on: July 23, 2022, 09:20:21 PM
it feels like the world leaders are taking us into this intentionally. Time to reset the balance books and re-distribute the wealth to a select few, while the rest of us scratch away to survive
That is the point well mentioned - rest of us scratch away to survive.
But I believe we all have to exclude the luxury from our lives and we need to live our life looking to fulfill our need only.
765  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 23, 2022, 09:18:05 PM
It's always annoying as to how these guys, these loan apps have made loan an easy to get and just to ensure they rope more victims to extort from in the name of interest. Some times, they get critical details and permits that eV authorises them to be a third party in working your account. Such rubbish and those who go through with this, I doubt they really understand that privacy could go ahead of most things. Am not going to jeopardise that for some petty cash!

Am not a big fan of loans, never have although I borrow a few times but each time I do, I ensure I already have a feasible plan of paying back and my reasons for borrowing must be definite/important for which, time can't wait until the funds to execute whatever would be ready. And again, I can't can't long term, can't go about paying up some interest for at most more tha 2 months and as a debtor, your never free. I need no agent to tell me that but I find a way to tell myself which pushes me to pay up.
I am not sure about the interest rate in the other countries but in my country it has reached to 33% and the inflation rate is very high too.
We are all very upset and in extreme trouble - and really living below our standards.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: U prepared for great depresion or u want to be surprised? on: July 18, 2022, 11:36:23 PM
Maybe it's coming, maybe it's not.
It would be fair to say there's a 50% chance. If Feds are able to stabilize inflation and control demand then we might land safely.
Macro-economics is more uncertain, unpredictable, and indecipherable than quantum physics. An economist will keep on crunching numbers and analyzing, but he can never be 100% certain  Tongue

But yea, if the crash does come it will be the worst one yet.
earlies the COVID has brought the world on halt and then Russian war.
and now the after affects of Covid and War that is inflation war. But nothing is going to be easy anytime sooner.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 18, 2022, 11:34:28 PM
Over the week, a friend and I had a conversation about loans and loan apps and she shared a bitter experience of how she was unable to write a very important exam because the money meant for payment of fees to qualify for that exam was deducted by a certain loan app that she collected money from a while ago.  Who will you really blame? My friend for not paying up as at when due or the loan app for not notifying her before the deduction.
In all, I advice that we should try to avoid any business with loan apps as they seem to be very numerous these days and are easily accessible. Most importantly, You should know that you are at the danger of developing a habit of borrowing from them if you patronise loan apps even for the smallest amount.
This is a very bad experience. This is the same thing happened to me last year. I collected #10,000 which is equivalent to $24 from Jumia play to pay back one month interval. When the month elapsed I paid the capital thinking that they would paused the loan since I have paid the capital but to my surprise, after one week, I received a message from they that my loan interest has been increased to $2 again. And at that time there was no money in my hand to pay off the loan so I have to wait till the month and clear the load and by then it increased to $2 times 4 equal to $8. Since after that day, I have learned my lesson on apps loans. With the personal experienced I have perceived or encountered, I also advice people not to take loan from apps the matter what.
Trouble don't come informed - sometime we go to trouble so that trouble can trouble us.
And most of the time trouble comes to us uninvited - this has happened with me too- I can understand the pain of losing the money this quick
768  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: July 18, 2022, 11:32:35 PM

All cruise ships all around the world is getting a bit of a trouble. I mean you can't just expect the world to get back to where it was suddenly. It's going to be harder for slow income places. Cruise ones have like a few cruise each year, mainly in one special season (summer) and then they make that money back, but they spend so much and gain so much all together.

When you cancel even one of that, you are going to be in big big trouble and finding money again to try to do it again is harder. Some tried it 3-4 times and failed because of pandemic period, which means that we are not going to end up seeing them recover easily, or maybe not even recover.
Covid has brought everyone on the same page - now almost everyone is worried about the fuel price be it rich or the poor
Everyone is on the same lines. In our country - believe it or not interest rate is 33% the highest in the history
769  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: July 18, 2022, 11:29:05 PM

Since bitcoin has been introduced to the world more young adults or young youths to work to a place that will not give it a value or chance of a Liberty because with the cryptocurrency investment and the cryptocurrency trading you can live a life of indoors and simple with your threading and nobody will know or notice the Genesis of you getting me income or success so cryptocurrency I've stopped a lot of barriers is so many country and also stop a lot of criminal action all the society
you are very right - many youngsters do not run after companies with CVs in their hands and begging for their job.
They have a small office at home and they are doing wonders from there. It only need one skill and a computer to make to able enough to earn on your own
770  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: July 18, 2022, 11:26:39 PM
wherever you can invest but in my opinion bitcoin is the best investment in crypto, it doesn't mean that other coins are not good but btc in my opinion is more promising in the future,
just an additional suggestion that ETH and BNB are included in my investment portfolio
Bitcoin is the most reliable cryptocurrency anyone can think of investing his/her money, their are other cryptocurrencies that has nice that can be profitable if invested. But before you think of investing in cryptocurrency first of all invest in knowledge to get better understanding about the right coin.
Bitcoin is reliable cryptocurrency any person can trust on because it's something that brings other cryptocurrency, but if you want to have money or make money into cryptocurrency you can invest into cryptocurrency of altcoins the ones that have good life. So i believe that Bitcoin is good cryptocurrency that you can work on and invest for but it doesn't give profit like altcoins
A part from bitcoin - there is another flourishing business that is Airbnb also some people are investing in flower and agriculture
The organic garden is also a good investment but it take 2/3 years to mature.
So people find easy solution and that is crypto
771  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: July 18, 2022, 11:24:21 PM
Inflation is just figures indicating certain metrics. The actual effect of inflation is felt by the masses, especially the poor and middle class. They are usually the least financially educated, and with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) being badly affected by poor fiscal policies, they also lose sources of income.

in the USA people were given so much money due to the pandemic now the situation is still terrible is it not ?

The idea of printing excessive amounts of money to stimulate spending was a sort of band aid solution to a critical issue, leading to higher inflation and higher cost of living.
What are protests going to do - Government are not much concerns about people interest they are much concerned about the Ukraine and Russia war how to put sanctions on countries which are neutral - and how to make a regime change. This inflation is obvious.
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: July 18, 2022, 11:21:14 PM

Trading is business of personal concerned, because when you lose it base on your detriment, and it's something you learn and understand before adventuring into it properly. I believe that cryptocurrency trading required many steps of understanding and wisdom before you can be excel into cryptocurrency, i believe that cryptocurrency trading required good foundation which needs proper attention so that you can not missed ou.
Trading is not everyone's cup of tea. Neither is gambling.
But gambling is a short of luck likewise trading is. But only those who are sharp at mind can do trading - one have to make quick decisions while trading.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: July 18, 2022, 11:18:47 PM
As a newbie one finds it difficult to know the right time to invest. I really want to know if I can actually invest into Bitcoin at this moment.
Short answer: Yes.

Yes, if you're not going to sell low at this price that you're about to buy. That's the easiest assessment that you can do, if you're thinking of selling then you just have to wait until price goes up.

So, current price is $21,600. Do you think that's enough for you to buy and wait until the next pump comes? Most of the investors are long term and won't totally feel the matter of the current price as something low or high.
I think the right time to invest was 10 years ago or it is today.
Find ways of investing in the blooming business or the bitcoins. If you don't have big investment start small.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: July 18, 2022, 11:15:12 PM
I think it will be extremely difficult for the market in the near future. But, judging by the latest trends - there is a possibility of renewal. So for now, just keep an eye out and cross your fingers.
Yes - keep the eyes open and fingers crossed.
But I guess the market will not recover - we will get used to of the inflation and rising trend with the passage of time- have you ever seen prices coming  down after a rise at least I have not witnessed this
775  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 18, 2022, 11:12:17 PM
A blissful birthday to you. seeing 8 decades isn't an easy experience to go by especially looking at how things were while young and how things are now at your current age. It just buttress the saying that, "Change is constant".
It's true what you say, for those at the echelon of power are just milking the poor through unruly taxes, impositions and so on, in disguise to maintain their lifestyle and opulence.

I am very excited to know that we have some very senior members in the forum too.
Happy birthday to you - many you be healthy and wealthy - you have seen 8 decades and I am sure you have seen good time and bad time too. But the memory you have shared is lovely
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: July 18, 2022, 11:10:21 PM

The problem, for those who do not believe in this prediction, is that there has already been an identical case in history. Moreover, which is very important - last time it was essentially the same Russia! History is cyclical, and Russia is trying to prove it to us with its experience Smiley
Moreover, the analogy is more than clear - from the sanctions applied to the USSR / RF, to the conduct of a sadistic terrorist war in the neighboring country of Afghanistan / Ukraine. Moreover, there are many other events that will simply lead to the fact that Russia will remain isolated from the main market, and become an appendage of China and let there be India. But on this "friendship" you will not raise the Russian economy, and even more so you will not save it. The problem is that China and India will squeeze out of Russia, for a penny, everything they need (oil / gas), and then they will be thrown out like an unnecessary bald, dystrophic kitten. China benefits and even needs economic relations with the West, on which it is highly dependent. China's export-oriented economy! And Russia is not a market, it is a raw material appendage. Who will China choose?
This Russian war after COVID  war has moved the world all together, But I am not sure about this wheat war.
This is a total propaganda and this will not happen any time sooner.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 18, 2022, 11:07:39 PM

Yes, I too believe Fengshui is for luck. Chinese people have different beliefs and they stand out from the rest of the world. Gambling is nothing an exception. Here the Fengshui is a luck factor same as that laughing Buddha is being placed everywhere so to get good business. If we dig the history we can see something interesting behind these activities.
I don't know if someone has read the book The hundred - there they have mentioned top 100 influential people of the world - and Buddha is no 4
Buddha has done so much to find God - but people have. made Buddha their God. Which is a different kind of belief.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 17, 2022, 08:47:25 PM
As far as I am concerned Feng Shui is just another superstition. I would even go as far as comparing it to people who suffer from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) who, in many cases, have a need for order and to follow certain patterns of behaviour before doing an activity.

The effectiveness of Feng Shui on gambling can be easily verified with a study. Grab a bunch of people, note who follows Feng Shui, who doesn't and track their gambling performance. On a large enough scale I'm sure there will be no difference between the two groups. Otherwise the casinos would have gone bankrupt  Cheesy
Many animal are considered sacred and people do believe that it matters.
However those who believe in number, but in both case - people do keep these elements in consideration.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 17, 2022, 08:39:05 PM
Tamim Iqbal is not too old. He could easily have continued playing in the T20 format for another 3/4 years. But I don't understand why he is thinking of retiring now. Bangladesh is yet to find a suitable replacement for Tamim Iqbal. There is no good opener in any Bangladesh squad. So if Tamim Iqbal retires now then the Bangladesh team will definitely face a problem. Tamim should be with the team for the next World Cup.
Tamim Iqbal is one of the best product from Bangladesh in cricket, and he plays some good innings for his country which was honor for player like him and if he announces this then surely we need to respect his decision because he feels in this way which is good for youngsters, and he wants to concentrate on two formats which is also good for him after the worst start of West Indian tour then end in amazing way which is surely a proud moment for Bangladesh cricket now they are second in ODI League table behind England which is another milestone for them.

Even he already announces about retirement from T20i but still he needs to give one favor and if he announces after T-20 world cup this could be better, but he already announces so no one can do anything right now with his decision.
Tamim Iqbal is a very nice player. But bangladesh team has always remained in criticism.
If he has done this decision - we must respect his decision.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: July 17, 2022, 08:22:28 PM

1. Russian oil exports will irreversibly lose the European market. At what without harm to the EU but with huge losses for Russia.
2. Will the active development of production in Iran lead to increased price competition in the Chinese and Indian hydrocarbon markets? Why ? Because only they buy oil in huge volumes from rogue countries, and will use the situation exclusively for their own benefit, I understand perfectly well that these countries have no other buyers, and there are no dimensionless oil storage facilities, and conservation of production is even more expensive.
3. Countries dependent on Russia's "antics" in the hydrocarbon market will very quickly find adequate suppliers, and in the short term the problem will be solved.
This is the whole propaganda. This is not going to happen
Some news show as if the world is going to collapse - and this will never happen. Be positive and everything will be okie.
