If you had bitcoins, keep on hodling and wait for the market recovery and at the same time,try to buy more bitcoin because it is cheaper than last week. Do you think it will be the best time to sell as there are two kind of speculations one says the value of bitcoin will reach $20,000 by 2018 and there are also speculations that the bitcoin might go through a dump in upcoming days but i know we cannot believe into random predictions by random users due to the volatility of bitcoin but i need some suggestions whether to hold on to bitcoin or sell it out and invest some of it into altcoins and then wait for the price drop to reinvest into bitcoin which i am not sure will happen or not.
If you have set a target price to sell your bitcoin and that target price is already hit then its time to sell your bitcoin. Bitcoin's ability to recover from deep corrections have been proven in the past and it best for long term hold. If you are a bitcoin believer, it better to hold your coins instead of selling them because of some speculations about the possible bitcoin surge of dump. |

The recent hacking of a Korean cryptocurrency exchange caused the price of the bitcoin to go down and some negative events like FUDs can also contributes to the downtrend of the bitcoin. Some whales or big investors might later take advantage of low price of bitcoin and it's time to pump it again for 4th quarter profits. Factors that will pump the price of the number one virtual coin are still absent at this time and it still accumulating.

There is a possibility that bitcoin will go down to $5000 but I'd rather hold my bitcoin than join the panic selling. I believe this correction is temporary and is normal as a part of its volatility and reaction from factors that affects it. Bitcoin has its own time to bounce back again so it better to wait and be patience for its next recovery. Panic selling will give further loss on your investments and instead of selling it's better to buy some cheap but solid coins while the market is still in red.
