7621  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BTC + Altcoins VS National Cryptos on: May 01, 2018, 09:14:44 PM
How do we make sure that BTC will dominate the respective national cryptos of each country?

You can't. You can make it competitive by making it cheaper, faster, etc. but at the end of the day, people will choose what they want to use based on their needs. Bitcoin will always have two key advantages though: decentralization and cross-border acceptance. Only time will tell if those are enough to keep it relevant against state-backed digital currencies which will undoubtedly be heavily favored by regulators. Bitcoin should at least be able to carve out a niche based on those qualities though, so I don't think it will be dismissed as an asset and nothing else either.
It would never be an asset and we know why bitcoin is created in the first place which it would really just remain as it should be but we cant deny the fact on what we are seeing now which National crypto coins is heavily backed by a certain country which we would able to see the disadvantage compared on decentralized coins. You said was right the decision would really be entirely depending on people on which coin he would choose up. Sticking with national cryptocoins would be just still the same on using your traditional local fiat.
7622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoincasino.us is a SCAM. on: May 01, 2018, 08:49:57 PM
Well, the OP was giving negative trust by Danny, xester etc and he/she is never online ever since he/she made this post. Therefore, we cant know the whole truth concern what the OP said, only if the OP share more light or someone try out the site but one thing I believe so far is that whenever people raise a scam accusation on here about someone or a site the story usually endup truth. I will advice you guys to always go for casino or bet site that run their campaign and ANN thread on this forum so you can complain whenever matter arise.
As i have tried out to see the trust history seems like this person isnt really trustable at all and now claiming a site a scam and suggesting not to play because he do have issues? Its not appropriate.People on top do have some experience which transactions go well. I admit the site is on mediocre design which i do even believe on first glance to be shady but we cant really make any conclusions without any valid reason.
7623  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-27] France Slashes Cryptocurrency Tax Rate from 45% to a Flat 19% on: May 01, 2018, 08:29:19 PM
It's mind boggling that governments even dare to charge tax rates close the 50% mark over capital gains. Even 19% is still somewhat on the higher side, but compared to other European countries, it's around the lowest average.

I agree that 19% is very reasonable, i personally am not comfortable with anything that is over 20%. Since it feels just like theft and government in my mind does not deserve more than 20% of my earned money.

Also outrageous tax like 50% is encouraging tax avoiding practices.
50% would really be the reason why people would evade tax and they should really took into consideration that they are charging too much which people would see it is unjustifiable. Even in my county do charge up 12% tax but i do feel that the government do steal up something from me but well taxes are meant to be paid or an obligation but shouldnt really come to a point which isnt reasonable. Percentage will vary on each country which we would have different views towards this.
7624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bet against my portfolio on: April 30, 2018, 11:27:20 PM
Someone has to want to bet me.

Depends.

What coin are you choosing, and what should the minimum volume of said coin be?

I can easily choose a coin that has like 30$ volume and 10k marketcap, then pump it 5000%, and win. Seems pretty unfair to me.

(And i also think this is your strategy, since you seem overly confident that you're going to win.(?))

I stated that it has to be in the top 100. We could make it top 50 if you want. We can do a $1m minimal market cap as well. Its $100... I am not betting my life on it lol
Top 100 would do or much better even going for top 10 is good yet we are just talking percentage here depending on the growth. The winner would always be on the nearest percentage on due time.
This would be good but its much better if funds are held even though its small but you can assure that other person would pay you up.  Cheesy
7625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Could Mining? on: April 30, 2018, 10:49:53 PM
I just want to ask, is cloud mining worth than investing or mining? Can you recommend a Could Mining Website that LEGIT.

Even if you would remove all the risks from cloud mining, the answer is still NO. Think about it, why would anybody ever "rent" out a mining contract to you, when they could use their own equipment to make even more money ? ( Since the mining contract would obviously make you profit, otherwise you wouldn't buy it.) That doesn't make any sense?

If you see a cloud mining site do this, giving you a huge contract for a really small price, chances are you're going to get scammed. Either by the site going down, or them limiting/downgrading your contract by x % every month.
The only website I know that is currently legit is probably GenesisMining(for now, that is). Is it profitable though? Definitely not. Best case scenario is that you'd break-even. If you want to do mining, buy hardware instead. Chances are, none of those cloud mining crap is going to give you significant profit, or probably no profit at all; or worse, you end up losing money instead.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. It looks like I'm going to spend money on investing.
Seems like you did already get the idea which you are actually right its much worth to spend money thru investing and by the way you should really lock this thread because there are countless of similar topics when it comes to cloud mining suggestions and views.Locking it would prevent repetitive answers on the community. If you got the answer you are looking for then theres no need for people to say the same things again.

For the sake of topic, theres no best cloud mining even the legit ones would leave you out unprofitable in the end of the contract.
7626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcointalk tipsters index on: April 30, 2018, 10:23:24 PM
thank you all  , OP has been edited and added all what you mentioned

Officially started keeping statistics from this very day. In the picture you can see my database of tips which can be extended largely.

Let's see how it goes, will update from time to time here and in the official thread but not everyday as simply don't have time.

great job mate , this is exactly what I'm looking for here in the forums cause the tipsters that post how much they are up or down are very rare and this is the least what a tipster should offer since he would be tracking also how much he is up or down since tipsters should bet their picks too

if you checked my tracking thread you would see that all the tipsters I follow have record for each single pick and how much they are making from their picks

by the way guys any idea why some links aren't clickable in the OP Huh
You said was right on where i do rarely see tipster dont really make any tally or tracking into their previous games either we are already on profits or loss.Seeing out that Excel image above its really good to see where they do already make consideration on making tracking which possible followers can able to see the progress and history too.

For links above. Its quite odd that some of them isnt clickable but well its not an issue since we can copy paste after all.  Cheesy
7627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: #stopshere on: April 30, 2018, 09:21:05 PM
It stops here.

Stop supporting obvious ICO scams. Don't add them to your signatures. Speak out against them, and stop defending shit coins. If we want to get more people involved in cryptocurrency, let's stop spreading these absolute shit coins and spend our time on what matters.

If you support this and are ready to stand up against these obvious scams by not selling out your signature to shit coins comment below.
You cant convince people on doing such thing. Why? because people do needs money and they do hope they can able to get decent profits on bounty programs thats why no matter how the project would be potentially scam they would still participate on because of such hope and target on making money. This is just like do or die scenario. If you wont risk on promoting them then you wont earn tokens and this is just really entirely depending on potential investors. If no one would invest then they would failed up but still this common mistake do happen all over again and again.
7628  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: April 30, 2018, 08:39:47 PM
I am sure in my country the Government cannot trace the people who benefit from the Bitcoin transactions. Bitcoin is highly transparent and very difficult to trace when we have made transactions with Bitcoin.

Every government can trace Bitcoin transaction if they will regulate it by controlling the local exchanges in which we convert our Bitcoin to fiat. Our local exchanges is KYC compliant in which they are required by the government to screen out their clients by requiring them to submit government issue ID and legal documents in which if they will not follow then of course the local exchange cannot allow to operate. Therefore everytime we will convert Bitcoin to fiat it will be monitor by the government specially if Bitcoin is legal in the country.
At present we cannot expect to harshly intervene the government about bitcoin taxation because we need law that would govern crypto currency taxation, they need to provide and create a law so that they  have guide lines in collecting taxes.

That is why Government wants to regulate cryptocurrency, they say they want everyone who trades in a specific country to be safe from money laundering and other criminal activities that has a high possibility in the future. But behind the major purpose is the Government will take part of controlling cryptocurrency trading and through regulation they could implement a tax.
Agree on what you had said which i do see the same point on why government do really adopt or regulate crypto because they do see that they can able to get tax from it but i would rather choose up for them to regulate than to totally ban itself. As long taxes implemented arent too high then this wont really be a big problem. Declaring bitcoin income would either be known or unknown depending on which medium you would transact on.
7629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 30, 2018, 08:13:08 PM
Lebron James is so experienced when it comes to do or die games and i think it really helps him in the series between the Indiana Pacers. Going into the series with Toronto Raptors, i think the latter should disposed the burnt James and the rest of the Cavaliers as early as possible because if it will go down the wire, it would favor the Cavs.
I agree, Lebron James is tough to beat come game 7's. He has done that many times already.

Speaking how tough Lebron is in Game 7, he hasn't lost in this decade. You can read everything here.

https://www.sbnation.com/2018/4/29/17293880/lebron-james-game-7-history-cavaliers

And who will forgot how they defeated Golden State in 2016 after they are down 3-1 and eventually win the NBA trophy? As far as Toronto though, its a different team now and they have a better chance as compare to the last 2 years when the Cavs easily swept them. Besides they have the home court advantage this time and Air Canada is one of the largest and noisiest arena ever.
This do really signifies that the even on the slightest chance to win, any team can able to turn or comeback the entire game and James did able to bring those teams into that kind of chances.Checking out the link that was a good read for those people who didnt able to track out game 7's of Lebron. This is truly proving that James do really get that title as The King.
I agree on what you said about this recent toronto team which is much really stronger into this year compared on previous years.

7631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is MYETHERWALLET safe now.? on: April 27, 2018, 11:43:58 PM
MEW said yes, it is safe as long as you are visiting the correct site (see post on twitter).
I suggest you to type the URL manually plus don't forget to check the ssl in the URL bar, you should see the green MyEtherWallet Inc [US] in there.

please use this info when opening your wallet, as per advice don't forget to check the US word on it because on phishing site it doesn't have this one, and if you want to check your token status just create your folio, for you not to open and putting your private key very often.
Checking out balance into your wallets which do have tokens,You can simply view into these sites:

etherscan.io
ethplorer.io/

If you just checking out then there no really need to input the keys. Ive been waiting a word from MEW team if its already totally safe before using the site once again.Basing on the image above you should always look up with that SSL if you do tend to visit the site.
7632  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: i heard bitcoin illegal in Taiwan...why? on: April 27, 2018, 11:23:52 PM
I do not understand the countries that banned Bitcoin. it's ridiculous to have it especially in the back countries. they must be supportive, should not be obstacles.

Wrong intent. It once again makes clear why we should strive for decentralized applications to enhance our lives and the freedom we all deserve to have. In all seriousness, aren't we all somewhat responsible for allowing the governments to do this to us? Bitcoin is the perfect tool allowing us to cut through this cycle and finally do what is better for everyone, and not better for the financial status of our government.

When people stop ignoring the serious nature of how rotten this system is, and finally wake up, the world might actually become a better place. Governments have proven to not do anything for the better, the last decades serve as clear proof of how rotten this on debt system is. It will eventually implode, but when, that's the only relevant question. The lower your fiat exposure is, the lower the consequences of an imploding system will be for you personally. I have taken the necessary steps already.
Government would still remain into this rotten system since they do know that they are having the full control or do acts as a monopoly when it comes to power.People are blinded and only a few do able to see the light when it comes to crypto or on bitcoin itself but i wont still believe that people will collaborate their beliefs and would stand against the government. They do know the possible consequences when they do such thing.
7633  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 27, 2018, 10:55:29 PM
By the way, thanks to the PD team for making it possible to disable the MAX bet. This a very useful feature indeed.

Yay! I remember removing the max button by deleting its code through "inspect element" feature of my browser. But thankfully, it was fully implemented now. We all know that the button is very tempting to click and sometimes causes the busting of balances Cheesy

More and more features are being implemented on the new version of Primedice! Grin

Yeah, I like everything in the new version of PrimeDice except for the one thing. I'd like to have the ability to view my transactions like it was in the old version. I don't know what were the reasons for removing the feature, maybe they were valid, but I really miss it because I was using it frequently. For example it was possible to see who tipped you when you were out, or when you made your last deposit or withdrawal. Is it technically too hard to keep the feature?
They shouldnt remove that feature on where you can able to see the history of transactions because every gambler do always look out into their recent transactions not only to the game itself but also into tips. They might able to hear us out and they might able to get it back. Grin if you are a long time gamer of the site you will really feel the changes.

I am really happy to know that the max button is disabled, is it disabled by default or every user has the options to disable it, i like the latter than disabling by default, the temptations to press the max button is real and i have lost many times in the past, you have to experience that emotion the moment you end up busting everything, its awful.  Grin Waiting eagerly for the alt coins to be added.
Its not on default which you would still need to click it for it to enable or disable which is a good tool for players because it is really tempting to use up that max bet button when you are on rage. haha
7634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshiladder.com - Multiply your luck on: April 27, 2018, 10:26:42 PM
you can link multiple games together, lets say you want to play 5 games each 10 bit:
that means, you will pay 5x 10 (50) bits for 5 games to guess.
if you get one wrong, you loose, if you get all right you win your stake (50) + win (50) + bonus (in this case 125)
Take a look at my math with 50 bits bet:

1)50X2=100
2)100X2=200
3)200X2=400
4)500X2=800
5)800X2=1600

In normal dice site, if I hit 5 correct results I could win 32X or lose initial 50 bits. At your site if I hit 5 correct outcomes i can win 2.25X. You have to offer something better than 2.25X for 5 correct outcomes.

There is no sign up button, no security, no nothing, whoever deletes cookies could lose all funds.
If we do base on martingale system but on a reversed one on where we do add up 100% on win then 5x in a row i would say playing in dice site would be more worth than on this site.
Giving out comments on this new site just like been said above the name is quite catchy but when i do try to access the site im frustrated on the design and yet i dont even know on where those links should be clicked on.I dont have much trust when it comes to security.
7635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: a turn or a trap? on: April 27, 2018, 09:49:35 PM
It seems to me like it is a standard correction which arrives me at the conclusion this is a bear trap and I believe you shouldn't fall for it by selling your coins or tokens.
This is just really a standard correction which i do always wait up for this kind of price movement anytime i do see a price increase because if there would be rise ups then there would really be always a decrease later on. Might be a trap or not but as long you are a wise trader you should now on how to ride the opportunities because these are the things which are crucial on making out money. If you can risk on to put money or invest for a particular situation if your analysis was true then you would be rewarded but if not then it would just simply a loss of money.
7636  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Feedback on our new search engine for Bitcointalk on: April 27, 2018, 08:57:46 PM
Usual ICO, nothing about Bitcointalk on the first page. only reddit megathreads.

I am very cautious on anything crypto related and a startup, I'll definitely be trying this on a virtual machine or mini Linux PC and see how it works.

I don't think that you need to install anything in order to use this search engine. and I think people will use this tool to hunt the bounties more conveniently . lol.
Same thing which do comes into my mind on where this search engine would be used on hunting bounties which i do say that this is indeed a good tool.Searching up things are quiet fast and informations are really been shown up there but i would like to see the dates to be in ordered starting up on the very recent news because i have observed all are shuffled down.
7637  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: April 27, 2018, 08:23:24 PM
I don't understand how blockchain could be applied into business. Anyone has a real life example of the advantage of a smart contract?
Blockchain technically can be applied into every business which wants transparency in their operations.

Transparency and immutability.
Yeah that! Being a programmer the word immutability keeps haunting me in my dreams!
The word Immutability would really haunt us even on our dreams and even myself would really agree on this fact. Grin

Blockchain technology would really be applied sooner or later into businesses yet we do able to see on whats the advantage on having this one and as a consumer or do really concern about transparency we would see this tech to be very beneficial.
7638  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 10:15:10 PM
I gave you merit for following up your previous post with useful info.  Good to hear it works out eventually.
Thanks .

I would use the site more if the mining feature worked out more profitably.   Perhaps this isnt possible and its a limit of what code is possible within the webpage, I thought it could be higher returns though.

I have tried the browser mining option when it was released as an experimental effort long time back ( just out of curiosity). But since it uses the CPU ( and not the GPU - even if you had one ), it will definitely be not worth the power / time . ( IMHO)
If you are using chrome, Shift + Esc will show you what component in your browser is using up your CPU - and if you are mining using the browser, it will show that its eating up most of your resources.

You do realize that you are almost certainly paying more for electricity than you are earning using a browser miner? There are much, much better ways to make money. Browser mining is just one step away from being faucet tier shit. Why not invest in some decent hardware so you can mine properly, or if you can't afford it, save up your money and pay for a cloud mining account.
Not only on the electricity would you spend but also you wont really able to use up your pc while you are browser mining comsuming computing power would lag the entire pc.
Going back into your suggestion i would rather save up money than on investing on cloud mining site. If you go that path you are still wasting up your money.
7639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I shut it down tonight boys. on: April 26, 2018, 09:07:15 PM
The point to a profit - even small - is that it's money you would not have HAD otherwise.

Also, the OP specifically stated "hobby miner".

But you waste a lot of time for it.  Is not better and profitable to click some sites and buttons in the internet? Cheesy

Why would it waste time? A miner is something you configure and leave alone. It mines while you are sleeping ffs.

Doing paid-to-click websites is less profitable because it demands your full attention the whole time. You could have instead spent that time learning a useful skill. Something is seriously off with the way you think. I highly suggest you take time to stop and meditate.

The current market value now is higher than in the future. Every day that you keep it mining for 5 cents it might depreciate another 10 cents

Where did you get your crystal ball?
Even theres no need to check out a crystal ball  Grin We can already presume on mining difficulty and the basic commodity or factors that would really be needed on mining which do increase its price too which would really have a common result which is not really worth of to mine.If you do mine just for hobby then its your choice but you are really totally paying up the expense of electricity or maintenance rather than on making money out of it.
7640  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A big problem in bitcoin ??? on: April 26, 2018, 08:05:03 PM
Again, this is mostly a bitcoin problem or another blockchain based network. Due to lack of regulatory oversight, fraud and market manipulation are common. Among these cases is Oncecoin - recently revealed as a ponzi scheme that is believed to have robbed millions of investors' money who believe they will be "next Bitcoin".
You do have some points but you are talking completely off-topic towards on the things being mentioned on op. Try to read it carefully once again and you might able to get the thought.
Back on topic, i dont think supply of bitcoin would really be added up since it is already being fixed by total supply of 21M coins and thats how being designed. Dont worry on mining it all because the last btc would be mined would happen on 2140+ year.
