7681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GLOBAL REIT - THE FIRST EVER BLOCKCHAIN BASED REIT on: June 30, 2018, 01:04:44 PM
Well, guys, this is it! I hope everyone remembers that this is the final day. Less than 12 hours left on the crowdsale and 5% bonus. There will never be a cheaper time to get your tokens. I see the counter still has not been updated but I have a big feeling we will be pleasantly surprised by the results when the final numbers come in.

It did not reach the hard cap but already a huge amount collected. You just never know what the final hours can bring also. See all of you on the other side!
7682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musician Akon is Launching a new Cryptocurrency. on: June 29, 2018, 06:58:28 AM
Okay,,, I do not really mind Akon, I think his music is really something to gain a taste for,,, but I wonder when this thing about musicians and artists getting involved with cryptocurrency will stop. Maybe never, until people are bored with it. No coin has become good because of an artist, in fact, already have scams because of artists so this should be a warning sign.

Intentions are good, yes,,, but you do not need crypto for everything.
7683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I buy Bitcoin in cash or deposit, without using credit cards? on: June 28, 2018, 08:22:17 AM
I like localbitcoins as suggested by user above, but I would not recommend face to face, especially for first time buyers. Just complete the online exchange. You can agree to pay in cash (deposit machine) or just send a bank transfer from your bank account. A lot of traders accept this, so no problem.

Why online? Localbitcoins has escrow service. If the guy never send you the bitcoins,,, then you lodge dispute, the bitcoins are locked in escrow and you will get it.

Do not try ATM if you love your money. High fees!
7684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will NEO become one of the top 10? on: June 27, 2018, 02:29:57 PM
NEO is already on the 13th line in the rating of coinmarketcap and I think in the next couple of months it will be in the top 10. My opinion is based on the technical analysis of this crypto currency, as well as on the belief in this coin.

Everyone can be on top and it depends how they will do it. It depends what kind of services it would be that could be more useful and has the potential to grow in the future. Neo seems to have the quality of a good coin so maybe it can reached its target as long as the team keeps developing the platform.

I would remind that a lot of NEO holders are keeping their balances to gain neogas, so that is also a reminder that a lot of people are truly just holders, not spenders or users, much like POS coin users were doing during the craze,,, and they are probably crying now because they thought they were generating free money from doing nothing. Binance is also holding so much NEO for people,,, they pay the gas if I remember. Wait until people start selling it off. Out of top 10 again.

PBC holds event to discuss Blockchain technology

DUBAI: Blockchain Technology is one of the most important and growing technology and being expanding in various sectors especially in the real estates. We want our members of Pakistani community residing in UAE should know about this and getting maximum benefits from the expertise in the fields.

Ali Tumbi, Founder/CEO of Aqua Properties and Global REIT, while addressing on the benefit by Blockchain Technology in real estate said that the Global REIT is the first ever blockchain-based REIT as the technology already operating in major cities around the world and now offering a number of investment opportunities for local investors in the UAE.

Very nice read! I had no idea that there was a link to Pakistan, but I know that in Pakistan, the real estate has been growing very well in the urban areas, even with all the economic conditions there. When so many other industries are in decline, real estate is still the one with positive growth, so the UAE Pakistani residents will already know these benefits.

Three more days of the ICO, wonder if we will see a boost,,, I know people will be disappointed if they find out about Global REIT after June 30!
7686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 25, 2018, 05:21:45 PM
It will change. One day, when everyone is no longer crazy about it. When the whales have liquidated and Bitcoin is moved to millions more people. I mean, this month, I still bought my regular subscription for something I use online, which I could not do before because I have no way to get a credit card. And I use Bitcoin, so I do not mind every month to pay for a small service, with my Bitcoin. It is not failed as a currency for people like me.
7687  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k. on: June 25, 2018, 12:19:13 PM
Hope it happens, because I will have a bit of salary by the end of the World Cup. Then when Bitcoin gets back to $20k, I can proudly say I made x10 profits on Bitcoin. Imagine that!

What kind of people wanted to sell their bitcoin at $2k? Dude, don't imagine like a non-business people, you should regret with what you are saying.

Remember, some people sell Bitcoin at whatever price they get, because some people are earning only in Bitcoin. They can wait to get better prices yes,,, but they could also get worse prices,,, so many people sell immediately when they earn. It does not matter what price BTC is, they get paid value of dollars.
7688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 24, 2018, 06:25:04 AM
Another easy treble today?
Belgium, Mexico, Germany @3.78 Smiley

Not so easy Smiley

Some sweat in the last 15 seconds!

Yep, not an easy game for Germany. I thought after Jerome Boateng got the second yellow card, game was over for them. But luckily they have Toni Kroos who able to score in the last minutes. Now the chance for Germany to qualify to next round is widely open since in the last match they will meet the weakest team in the group, South Korea.

Nice treble win, Belgium was easy but Mexico still had to fight, their coach complained after 24 fouls from South Korea, never saw Koreans play like that before I guess they really felt the pressure,,, and Germany? I thought it was over at half time. They have to much quality though and kept attacking goal, eventually quality must shine through if enough games. If the World cup was a league, maybe we can still see Argentina inside too. I do not think South Korea can even draw, but Sweden maybe still can beat Mexico, so this group is not very certain.
7689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ICO period long? on: June 23, 2018, 11:43:16 AM
I think you have to see how ICOs happen. Those that sell out in minutes spent a lot of time marketing and agreed with big contributors earlier that they will sell them X amount of tokens already, so all these agreements actually kick in the second the ICO starts. This is actually not much different from ICOs that run for 2 or 3 months or have presales and other early stages before main ICO. Of course, some are enjoying a lot of hype like EOS did and had so much people participate.
7690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GLOBAL REIT - THE FIRST EVER BLOCKCHAIN BASED REIT on: June 22, 2018, 04:03:35 PM

Hey guys, just uploaded a review about your project here:
https://steemit.com/crypto/@cheryldlovejoy/global-reit-ico-review-the-unique-idea-of-2018

Good luck with the ICO, I think you should do well.

Nice article. I know blockchain is said to open up everything for everyone, and yes Global REIT is using blockchain to open up REIT even more like your article says. For example, I looked in REITs in my country and the minimums are quite low, only locally and you see dividends usually 2 or 3 years after investing. Global REIT means even the smallest guy like me could participate, for an international property,,, best of all I can sell my tokens at any time if I want to liquidate later when listing. Not to mention the way dividends are given every month.

I have such high hopes, hope Tumbi and team see all of us really want this to happen.
7691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC back to $6000 ? on: June 22, 2018, 11:52:07 AM
Wow, it really looks like my dream "came true". When I saw the prices rise over the last few days, I thought oh well, it was good while it lasted, but I wish it could last longer and lower so small guys like me have more time to enter the market.

Now I see ETH drop back below $500, I remember the time I bought it around $400 and wishing I could get more. Maybe that time is coming for me.
7692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ETH yesterday and guess what happened next on: June 22, 2018, 11:17:27 AM
Ethereum is only the 3rd least stable currency among crypto, in the past 5 years. Guess which is the least? Bitcoin. Litecoin was second. So that means if you are looking at volatility and stability, ETH is okay. It lost $10 but you should expect this in crypto ($10 is 2% which is extremely normal). You bought at a good price in my opinion,,, so just wait it out and do not worry. You only lose $85 in worst case scenario.
7693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: new holder of panic on: June 21, 2018, 03:30:16 PM
Whatever you are holding right now especially if it's from the top, i believe ripple last year really make a good run but for now it's on bottom. I think it will be regaining it's momentum again as long as this regulation comes to it's final stage. You don't have to panic you can always think positive and stay on hodl. Because for sure all alts this year will going to another ATH. What i mean is the bullrun stage which will be celebrated by all crypto enthusiast all over the world.

Kind of like stocks, is it not? People tend to buy during the buzz, and then get worried when bottoms happen. But the good thing about crypto is that it recovers far more quickly than normal stock markets. So next time the lesson is. If you cannot wait one year, then set stop loss. Cut out the panic before it settles in and you can be good to go.

For sure this year ATH? I am ready to wait for 2020.
7694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: June 21, 2018, 03:00:30 PM
I do not believe in the term bubble to mean one big rise, and then pop it is all over. There are many recognized bubbles in traditional markets. The real estate is one, and I am even investing a small amount into a real estate project (blockchain but also real life) so that is two bubbles together I guess. There is nothing wrong with a market that goes up and bursts, and then goes back up again for a new bubble. When did bubbles suddenly become a bad thing?
7695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM on: June 21, 2018, 12:57:49 PM
I think the point of the article was not so much that a company is paying salaries in Bitcoin, I mean come on, so many of us working online and in this forum get our pay in Bitcoin, right?

What is interesting is that Israel was/is anti crypto. The banks are shutting down companies dealing in Bitcoin related stuff, although the courts recently said this was unlawful. So if companies just chose to do that, more Israelis get Bitcoin and go ahead do business without banking approvals. Banks will see that they cannot win the war.
7696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GLOBAL REIT - THE FIRST EVER BLOCKCHAIN BASED REIT on: June 20, 2018, 10:09:42 AM
Hi all!!!, maybe is a stupid question for some of you,but why I can buy tokens from Exchange if I use bitcoin and I can’t with eth, I understand you need your erc-20 wallet to receive your tokens at the end, can anyone explain it to me please, thank you very much

No stupid questions in crypto! Exchanges offer pairs entirely up to themselves. Usually most ERC-20 tokens will be traded against Ether (since they are all based on Ethereum anyway) but Bitcoin is also usually the most common pair/market, simply because this is the most popular currency, the most liquid, and the most accepted.

But if you want to STORE your OWN ERC-20 tokens, then you need your own ETH wallet. Any ETH address can receive tokens, but make sure it is a wallet you control (do not use an exchange wallet for example).

And ouf, looks like the ICO numbers are revised back to 60% or 12 mill. Hope they can explain what happened there.
7697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: June 20, 2018, 09:40:18 AM
Waves might come soon into the top-10 cryptocurrencies. The platform is well developed, and the altcoin is great. Besides it, I would better buy Ontology, Gladius, Credits, TRON now, when they are cheap.

I am never inclined to agree with any of those coins, but for the simple fact that they are so cheap, I guess 1% buys into those for short term gain is a good idea, since coins are just so low now. Watch out though,,, the market could be ready to plunge yet again.

WAVES oh it definitely will go into top 10, just wait and see. Maybe not 2019, but I anyway always gave it a target in 2020.
7698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GLOBAL REIT - THE FIRST EVER BLOCKCHAIN BASED REIT on: June 19, 2018, 11:27:17 AM
Thank you to the user for sharing that picture from the conference - it is really really good to see that Ali Tumbi was there, but we all would really like to hear more about the progress and developments coming from the London conference,,, and if there are any future conferences coming up this month before the token sale is over.

We are now almost at 75% of hard cap, but I am sure if conference details are shared more people standing on the sidelines could be keen to join in.
7699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: June 19, 2018, 07:01:28 AM
On the contrary, the market looks really good to me. Can you imagine that after all this FUD, pressure, so called panic selling,,, and yet Bitcoin has somehow not broken down below $6k? What does this tell you? It tells me that Bitcoin is extremely strong, very resistant to the selling price and represents a market that is completely oversold, yet refusing to budge from the price. Even without the good news, we see it trying to recapture $7k.

The longer it stays in this phase, the better, so it can build a firm foundation for the future rally. Watch the markets, because when the buying starts again and the confidence is unstoppable, Bitcoin will rise and carry all of crypto together with it.
7700  Economy / Services / Re: New way to earn something on: June 18, 2018, 10:34:53 AM
Yeah, come on guys. Anything that takes no effort is probably worth nothing. In fact, 30 mins a day? If you spent that time working properly, you could earn more. I spend maybe 15 minutes a day that is all on writing something useful if I can find it, supporting the small projects I like, in whatever capacity I can. It maybe does not earn much, but half the time required, while you actually learn something! If it is easy, do not trust it.
