7701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does cloud mining work? on: April 03, 2018, 09:28:21 PM
I appreciate the effort for writing this post, but whatever with a good suggestion of cloud mining negative side will still carry the whole lot. Its not even profitable to those who want to invest in this kind of scheme. Though there are some who profit but still I will not recommend it.
Its always on the negative side and those lifetime contracts is already  gone and it wont really be possible to be offered.Just remember the days on whale hashflare and genesis did make such offer on where you do able to have a lifetime contract and now they are limiting already. Why? They cant sustain their business if they would decide to continue to offer such payouts or returns to their investors. As the years goes by mining difficulty would always be the reason or factor why cloud mining isnt profitable in most cases.
7702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Dip is near". Stay safe on: April 03, 2018, 08:55:28 PM
nobody knows what's coming so I don't think you know and expecting the crypto market will dip to it's rock-bottom the moment you wrote this thread.
I think you're just bluffing.

There are more factors why the crypto market dips badly but it doesn't mean it will die someday because this is the future and we are now adapting the future of our trade and economy.

we are thankful that we are earning money while crypto has just been started and the rest of the world hasn't yet been adapting crypto and blockchain.
Its not actually a bluff but these kind of words are the words which being said by those new members on this forum and into this very volatile market of cryptocurrencies. If we are here for years we would able to see how many times on how many billions of money had been taking out on the market which would really result into price dip but it doesnt mean that the end is near. We are still having a big space on further development when it comes to blockchain technology. Its too early to say about negative things.
7703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting on: April 03, 2018, 08:17:27 PM
If the tips on upcoming matches are free and the OP is not asking for money or send him any crypto for future tips then I do not see any problem with posting here in his own thread.
There are several others that do this already and as he mentioned already he is doing it from a tip off he received from a friend on the last one and even showed the source of the site which he frequents.
So I do not see why not just enjoy if they do give you a little insight in what your own prediction would be if you were looking to bet on the match anyways. Cheers to you and thanks for the tips which are insightful. Smiley

Well agree if that is for free. But sometimes it's really annoying to see tipster just giving tips without any backup or analyzation. Simple as it is, they just boosting their presence and if the bet won it will give some additional good points to them.

There are lots of predictors here in the forum that will create a thread and that's it.

Most common formats are: (just an example)

NBA : Lakers vs Mavericks - Lakers -8 @ 1.8
         Jazz vs Warriors - Over 220+ @ 2.5
        and many more.....

It's just easily posted without any basis. So for me, there are shit tipsters around just making post and spamming the gambling section. Although I doubt that they can attract bettors still I found it annoying. Well that's my view. Smiley
Same views on here which sometimes these free tipster threads is already annoying specially these kind of posting format which doesnt even back up with a very minimal or summarized analysis towards the fight or competition. They do just simply put up the team versus then the odds then they leave some comes back some do only post once and might able to get some reputation or points into the community and might consider his other next picks or tips.
7704  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit scam exchange on: April 03, 2018, 07:47:20 PM
I sold my bitcoin God almost a week now and it still in sell order, that why I don't trust all this exchange that have no license, please before you chose any exchange try verify them very well before you loose your hard earn money
Have you checked it if there are also buy orders? Trading exchanges aren't working that way where you'll just sell it and the exchange will buy it automatically. You have to wait for another trader to buy that sell order you've made or create a buy order that you can take. What I can see now is most of the orders on bitcoin god on yobit are only sell so that's why it's still on sell order. You haven't scammed as long as your coin is in that wallet. And if you don't trust this type of exchange, why you used them?
He probably used it since Bitcoin God is only being traded up on that exchange only (this is only presumption) I havent checked out where other exchange this coin can be traded As bhadz said you havent still being scammed by the exchange since this is just a traditional way of trading on where buy and sell happens if theres lots of buy orders then its good since you can able to sell out with a particular price but if you set out a higher amount out of those buy orders then its normal that no one would able to buy to coins which you have put in. If theres only sell orders then no buy orders then you would really got pending.
7705  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Forbidden In Islam? Why? on: April 03, 2018, 07:07:13 PM
I personally disagree with what the theologian say about bitcoin, the theologian forbid bitcoin and according to what the theologian say about bitcoin by its prohibition is something that does not make sense and I think the ban comes at a time when bitcoin prices are on the moon. So the theologian do not know anything about bitcoin and they forbid it without knowing the truth.
Part of reality which they do always take actions directly without even re-considering or even bother out themselves on checking out first before making any decision. Those kind people/organization etc. do have a very close minded perception into any kind of thing as long it is new into their ears and awareness they do make such conclusion without any strong basis. In towards religion its most likely money matters would really have an issue but i cant see that bitcoin would really be considered or to be included. It might have disadvantages but cant really be considered generally as a bad thing.
7706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 02, 2018, 10:28:52 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.
It's all wrong, there is not an analysis and skill that can determine the outcome in the gambling game. The gambling game is only influential by luck. Without luck then we can not predict what we will get from the gambling game. I recommend not playing gambling because gambling game will only waste our time. A thing that will be useless and can even be bad because of the addiction factor that could destroy our lives.

I agree with you mate. There are gambling games that are purely based on luck while there are also that requires skills apart from just luck in order to win. There is really nothing wrong with gambling and should not be treated as a dreaded disease to stay away from because when you are playing it right like just for fun and entertainment for the money that you can afford to lose, that will sometimes help to ease the stresses in life. After all, what we really need here is to have fun in moderation.
Everything should really be on moderation for us on able to avoid possible things that might happen ahead if we engage too much on playing gambling.Yes, theres nothing wrong with gambling as long we are responsible with our actions towards it.Positive vibes will somehow give you the enjoyment while playing but not necessarily to have this kind of mindset because way being too positive would lead on too much expectations which will lead into foolish decision because you are already pushing it on.
7707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-Alpha all coin scam? on: April 02, 2018, 09:56:16 PM
The exchange is a joke i deposited few coins to test it out but it never showed up on my account , upon contacting the support i was told to provide the transaction id and the address to which i sent after i provided them with the necessary evidence no action was taken.
It's highly recommended that people stop trading on small exchanges like btc alpha
Good step! and all newbie trader should have this kind of behavior. See recent feedbacks or do try it for yourself on small amounts.

That's nice that you observe first before sending your coins there unless you already did. It seems that this exchange is a red flag, use the trusted and known exchange for your own safety.
This should be done always specially when we do see a new exchange in the market.Dont carelessly send on bulks and it would be much wiser if you do send small amounts to test out their credibility when it comes to their exchange operation. If it already shows red flags then don't tend to continue.
7708  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Breaking: China May Legalize ICO Soon on: April 02, 2018, 09:22:05 PM
According to https://t.me/oneminute_crypto_news and https://twitter.com/EricBai_89, in a public interview by Chinese official web media, People's Web, a famous scholar Dong Yang released that Chinese SEC is conducting the legal research to legalize the ICO and the ICO will become a legit tool of crowdfunding soon.

They are banning ICO and even Bitcoin currency so many times before but the truth is as one of the most advance countries they realized how important and how huge will be the opportunities that will going to lost if a certain country will not grab the crypto currencies existence as investments. Sometimes i will think that there just banning Bitcoin and other crypto currencies before because i believed that they will just want to manipulate it in order to control the crypto currencies market but they always failed.
They would surely fail because cryptocurrencies are decentralized which means full control isn't possible. They might able to control some aspects but on general matters then its an impossible thing.I do agree that they had already make lots of decisions towards crypto banning and prohibiting them but still they do end up on failing and now they are re-considering and this adoption or regulation of ICO would be a good news since we do know the capability or involvement of China into things.
7709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does ethics count in winning/gambling. on: April 02, 2018, 08:30:31 PM
Never in my life I cheated in gambling ,I want to play fair and square. I hate cheaters and I don't like to play with that kind of people, in my place we already knew who have that kind of atittude so we avoid our selves to play with that person and they will always be rejected.

Any form of cheating is still cheating regardless of its nature. Once you performed an act that has an advantage over the other illegally then it is considered as cheating. In adherence to gambling, even though the nature of the act is based on odds, cheating would result to an individual's persona non-grata on the said casino or may be even held criminally liable.

I'm so proud to be part of this community who has decided to never cheat in gambling while I can't quote each and every post I liked, I'm really happy that each and everyone was ready to loose than cheat. They may call us by whatever names they want, tell us we're messing our lives, but they can't call us cheaters. Though occasionally you see people come here and complain they were cheated or sell fake scripts these are the few rotten apples that shall be chucked out of the system as I feel we'll have our ethics guard up.

Generally, people around the forum have respect and morals over their works and acts. People who mainly cheat are usually the ones who are suffering from financial needs or problems. Most individuals gamble for the purpose of entertainment; cheating would totally destroy the purpose of having fun. Nevertheless, ethics must be properly followed like what is mandated on the laws and rules.
Having ethics on gambling is good but consider this thing to be applied on all sorts of our daily living and would really give a peace of mind since we are talking about gambling then I would also choose on losing than on tending to cheat and same as you said once you act or do have motive to cheat then its already considered illegal once being caught then suffer the consequences but if you are a greedy man or do really seek for money then you wont really matter about ethics and do things on all sorts as long you can make money which isn't really good.
7710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk says goodbye to facebook on: April 02, 2018, 07:56:02 PM
t would be very hard to protect our data when the governments come in knocking on the door. They will use the law on their side. However, when it comes to data protection and privacy for personal interests of private companies, it would be wonderful to see new projects pop-up; but again how trustworthy can they be for the long term? I hate those targeted ads, and trust google is the worse I think, with their recent feature in emails where they give you suggested replies, indicating that their AI has read the entire content of your emails.
If these data protection and privacy companies do come out then it would really be a good option for those people who do really likes to ensure their entity but same as you said we cant still be assure if those companies wouldn't come to a point on where they would able to leak out informations this is why I don't really trust too much on inputting personal informations in the cloud.I do make use of facebook but haven't putted all the important things towards to my own entity and I'm fully aware that government do have anytime access to millions of personal information if they do like to.
7711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 02, 2018, 07:04:23 PM
Date: April 3, 2018
Game: Golden State Warriors vs. OKC Thunder
This match is going to be an interesting fight.

I hate when young people that never saw a single game of Michel Jordan on TV or something and talk like he is the GOAT.
Few youtube videos don't make an expert, keep that in mind. And enjoy watching Lebron, he will clearly pass the all-time scoring record, which is crazy.
Micheal Jordan's charisma and attitude i think separate him from Lebron James. I was lucky enough to watch Michael Jordan plays at his peak and watch the beauty of his plays.
Michael Jordan was a king among kings when the likes of Magic Johnson and Dominique Wilkens were playing up against him and the Chicago Bulls were a team going to the playoffs as Golden state are every year.
He wasn't very arrogant and always had a smile when he played.
He was a gentle giant on the court, and LeBron James is not.

Haters? lol.

You will not see the positive traits on the other side as long as you only looking on a single side. There are big differences about Michael Jordan and LeBron James nature and system during their time and for me, it's doesn't making sense to compare those. Why in the first place?

Just enjoy the game mate and appreciate greatness. Smiley
LOL what's happening here? Guys don't debate on this thing, you can't compare orange to apple. LJ and MJ aren't on the same era so you just have to appreciate their greatness and LJ will soon become a legend too.
LJ is already a legend if we do see those stats he already reached out those numbers which can really be considered to be one of the best but in my part he hasn't still achieve on the charisma on where MJ do have but I agree on what people do said above which theres no really need to argue or to compare since each one of us do really have different perceptions and likings into a certain player.Comparison is there but both players are really on different era. MJ has retired and now we are seeing LJ heading to that spot too.
7712  Economy / Securities / Re: Bit-z Hack Try on: March 31, 2018, 12:49:40 PM
If you use the same password and email ID to some other services then it is quite risky. So before you deposit money into your online account whether it is exchange or gambling site or any other site first you need to secure your account with 2fa. If you enable 2fa then hackers can't go into your account.

These days people don't want to work hard to earn money instead they want to steal money from other people easily. We should protect our online activities carefully.

You are god damn right. Steal is always easy way. That was my mistake I opened that account and did not set f2a because I had no balance. I wanted to warn people.
Hackers is everywhere and would really take the step as long they can able to make money. For people who aren't too keen on making more accounts secure are the primary victims.Setting 2fa should really be part of our behavior whenever which site we do create on as long we do have the money being stored up then we should set out the maximum security on it.I have tried out some instances on someones trying to logged in with my Hitbtc account showing off Russian IP address.

Your not the only one who's been attempted to get hack by those fucking hackers and to lucky for me to have an 2fa set up on my all accounts and this 2fa feature should be imposed by anyone since it  is a must to do by all of us and setting up an hard password with different phrase on every site account is a must  so that your important account will not hit once by the hackers if they attempt to log on it.
We would really make question on our minds on how those hackers or people can able to logged in accounts yet we have already set the most secure way.Just like on what I'm doing I do make different passwords on all accounts and even with my own email being used. This will even make harder for people to bypass as long we do know how to do our assignments.Important thing is that we do all necessary things.
7713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 30, 2018, 07:16:30 PM
Damn. Joel Embiid got injuried during the New York Knicks game when he ran into his own team mate Markelle Fultz.
He won't be available to play during the beginning of the playoffs due to a broken face (reported as that being the injury Lips sealed ).
Hard luck for 76er's fans as that was their best player to advance on into next round.
https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2018/3/30/17179358/joel-embiid-injury-sixers-gmib
This was really unexpected and imagine hitting up the floor with your face and same as you said this would really be a hard luck for 76ers fans since Embiid is their best player. He wont really be able to play at start on playoffs but well this kind of injury is much better compared if you would able to break your ankle or any other mobility aspects. Thanks for the link towards this news.
7714  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: March 29, 2018, 07:33:59 PM
KYC procedures is without a doubt will be the future of cryptocurrencies and a part of it makes me afraid of it because it violates the main concept of bitcoin but on the other hand just to make things right and being crypto becomes friendly with the government is to follow these rules and regulation set upon them.

Basically this is for our own protection, and hopefully they will use our information in right things. The only concern is who is the regulatory body to protect our details, and still many people are afraid of this thing specially if ICO's ask for this thing. Its good for the exchanges to have KYC but in ICO I think its too risky.

Most of the companies are asking KYC because they know the value of their token and for audit purpose, they will ask for KYC. KYC is always good for the companies because they can easily track the records for regulatory issues. I think it won't harm us and they will protect our details.
You can say that you trust those companies but are you 100% sure that they won't use your information or someone could hack your information in their companies and use it for  illegal purposes, we won't know what will happen, it could be a protection for us but it can also harm and get our information for illegal purposes. There are ico's and bounties that after the bounty campaign has ended they will said they need KYC before they will distribute tokens, i think it's not good if for people who do work's on bounties and they don't want there info to give.
For bounty matters i dont see a reason why a project would require such KYC or documentation into its participants. They arent investors and we know all that thing. There would be always a risk involved when we sent out our identity into others we cant really be sure after on such ICO funding they wont able to use up those informations that they have collected. It might be stored but chances of on getting used in other terms will be there.
7715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300 on: March 29, 2018, 06:39:19 PM
ETH is falling very strong compared to its $ 12xx early this year, will you buy it now?
Now, according to CoinMarketCap, the price of ethereum has fallen to 410 dollars. Therefore, it is possible that the price of this coin may soon fall to $ 300. This is of no significant importance. Vseravno, as soon as the crypto-currency market starts to rise, the ethereum course will also grow along with it. This coin is very promising and in demand, so in its further growth I am absolutely sure.
Almost coins in the market is heading downward which it isnt really surprising if eth would go back into $300+ price. We should not be surprised on since we have seen on how this market decline and then recovers up on a matter of time. The thing here is that we wont even know on when is the day of such recovery. As an investor and believer of ETH then its wise to buy always on possible dips then go shorting while the market is still on consolidation mode.
7716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: March 29, 2018, 06:11:44 PM
They sharing tips because they can easily get donations from people who have win money by using their tip. Donations are somehow important to them because they can not earn much from gambling. In contrast, people just want to do what they want and some of them do really want to help other to earn money in the easiest way.
Donations? And what if someone lose? I have never heared if someone donated someone because he/she won from his/her tips.
Once I was doinf that too but I was writing reviews of matches and logical reasons of why would this team won or lose or would have more corners and etc. This is somehow fun and exciting to share your tips and get responses, you think like people look and appreciate your shared information.
There are scenarios or situations cant really be avoided since there are really some follower who do really see or do care on giving some amounts not just act as a donation but rather an appreciation on the tips that they do know and make some bets. For Loss then its expected that there would be negative impressions and its normal.
7717  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which online wallet for bitcoin is safer? on: March 28, 2018, 07:26:27 PM
All online wallets are so-called hot wallets, and unfortunately, they’re not the safest of all.

Why?

For one, they’re centralized. It doesn’t really make sense for crypto-enthusiasts to promote the hype of decentralization and then storing large amounts of digital cash on a centralized online wallet.

Secondly, like any other website, they’re prone to be hacked. If money is involved, that’s usually good enough reason to try to compromise the security. And if funds can be transferred out to an anonymous address without the possibility or reversing the transaction, that’s even more of a reason to hack.

Solution

There’s not much you can do. Every one has to use a hot wallet every now and then. However, they’re not meant to store large amounts of coins for extended period of time.

#1 - most secure method

It depends on an individual, but I like to think that the most secure way of storing your large amounts of coins is a paper wallet.

You can make a few copies of it, laminate it so the paper doesn’t deteriorate over time, and lock it in a safe, bank or dedicated security deposit box.

However, the best option is to combine both the method #1 and #2.

This way you have access to your coins on a short notice (if you decide to lock away your paper wallets a few miles away from you in a deposit box) because you are in possession of your hardware wallet.

And if you lose it, then you can always revert back to your backup paper wallets.

#2 - even better method

There are certain hardware wallets that are way more secure than the above two methods. For example, a Ledger Hardware Wallet will store your coins securely, because it’s not connected to the internet, therefore, it can’t be hacked.

The downside to hardware wallets is that you can misplace it and then ultimately lose it. Once lost, given the fact that you haven’t written down your private keys somewhere say, you have no access to your coins.

The upside is that these hardware wallets are nearly indestructible, so you not need to worry about breaking them.

#3 - a bit more secure method

Desktop wallets are considered to be more secure than hot wallets. The key word here is considered. That’s because it depends on your level of understanding how secure you can make your computer to be.

If you make it really difficult for a hacker or malicious malware to penetrate your computer, then sure - on paper it is more secure.

In reality, the vast majority of people think that one antivirus software and a system firewall are enough to prevent any security breaches.

It’s probably best to get extra education on security before one decides to store a lot of coins on one’s desktop.

#4 - least secure method

You can engage a 2-step verification process for most hot wallets and use Google Authenticator or Authy to generate access codes. Whilst this isn’t a solution, it puts another layer of security and makes it tougher to breach.

Although, sometimes hackers aren’t the problem. What if the hot wallet company goes bust or they lock you out of your account preventing you from accessing your funds?

Hot wallets are the least secure methods of storing your coins.

Summary

As you can see, it all depends on you and the amounts of coins you plan on storing. It might sound scary, but this is the reality. It’s best to be safe and take that extra step than to be sorry.

Good luck!

Here every people in this forum already knows that bitcoin can be saved in what are all the wallet. I do not know the push this thread up unwantedly. You know there are few people like this keep on doing when explaining this do not bump the thread.

I hope post mine will stop the no more unwanted posts on this thread dude. If possible. op please lock this thread or delete dude.
You cant really stop people on bumping out this thread as long its not being locked nor being deleted replies would really come and repeating the same answers all over again. There are already lots of similar threads towards this question about safe wallet for bitcoin. There are lots of options either for long term holds or shorter/active ones.
7718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need to pay first before you can claim your rewards on bounty campaign? on: March 28, 2018, 06:59:25 PM
I have a recent bounty campaign and they are saying that i need to pay them 0.004 btc before i can earn my bounty rewards. This is the first time i heard of it. I already reported it to the moderator but based on their reply they cannot do anything because i will fall under biased decisions
Moderator on where?

I would tell you this if someone do ask you money just to claim your bounty then its a complete scam. As a bounty hunter for how many campaigns theres no such thing that someone would ask you money for you to claim your tokens since you deserve such rewards for promoting them.I would like to ask which bounty program you are talking on? So that people would be aware regarding to this one.Just remember, not to send any amounts to that someone.
7719  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal for businesses to use crypto transfers instead of international wire on: March 28, 2018, 06:20:25 PM

Is it legal yet to replace intl. wire transfers with crypto transfers as part of business and how would you record that in the books?
If certain country do have such prohibitions or any regulation into any crypto related transactions then using it up as a part of business would really requires approval but in a country which doesnt any have contradictions with cryptocurrency transactions then using this thing would be possible. Recording in the books? Theres no need since you can eventually see transactions that had been made but though having description of each one of them wont be possible.
7720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing game on: March 28, 2018, 05:54:26 PM
Gambling in horse races are still popular in my country. Bets are not online though and are sold inside arenas. Online betting is still prohibited in my country.
Horse races are popular everywhere in the world and where there is horse racing there will be gambling. According to my analysis in my country it is the hobby of elite class. Only they can afford this expensive game, also they bet very high amounts on these races. The bets here are in millions which I can't even think about to participate in.
These races are live broadcast on the television and the winners are paid high prizes. Gambling here is illegal so they deal it under the table. Honestly I have no idea about any online betting on them in my country.
When you do talk about physical or actual horse racing then expect only elite class would really be here to make bets and on the thing you said which it does really involve bets talking about on millions already.I dont know why this type of gambling is very entertaining for them and making such ridiculous amounts on making a bet but well its their own money as long they do enjoy then it doesnt matter. For online horse racing we can really bet among with other people it might be on small amounts but i dont consider for this thing to be illegal.
