7761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage / Easy money for new people on: May 22, 2018, 08:23:38 AM
I am always glad when someone new finds something useful in all these posts - but always take the most negative statements the most seriously. Nothing is ever easy,,, if anything is easy, it is often not sustainable and leads to unrealistic future expectations. Approach everything as if it is the most difficult thing, and when you gain success, you can feel satisfied. Arbitrage is a simple concept but difficult to achieve, do not let people fool you with false results. Good luck to you.
7762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone oblivious to what just happened. on: May 21, 2018, 07:43:17 PM
The whole market bled money. Except for one coin.
The big players pulled out and as the FUDDERS sold their coin they quietly bought up ripple. Then let is sit and let the drop price further. Then bought up some more.

They are finished now. The market is gaining value. They have their ripple, and the price is sitting nice.

Something big is about to happen to XRP in 2018.

You just witnessed the start of the big move from 1st gen to 2nd gen crypto.

So where is this big thing about Ripples. I still see low price without any good aspects to change it. Better, i think now ripples are good only for little investments because price will probably stay on this low level

Heh, all these posters full of confidence, all these people, loving their centralized coins,,, all these non users and holders waiting to be dumpers,,, all these so called cryptocurrency enthusiasts who think they are the only smart ones sitting on knowledge that mainstream newbies will never have.

They disappear when they realize they are not a single bit smarter than the rest of us. Ripple is still struggling at 50% of it's ATH. And there is still all those XRP waiting to be unlocked.
7763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new to crypto where to start? on: May 21, 2018, 06:54:17 PM
You already started your jounrey to learn by joining this forum...first you should go through beginners section where you get almost all the answers to the question that a newbie asks..keep away from altcoins section until you learn enough about bitcoin and blockchain...spend time here posting and reading and you will learn slowly

Very good suggestion to keep away from altcoin section haha. It is just full of fake sentiments and opinions. My tip is to pay attention to the sections on technical and project discussion. And only take seriously especially from members with Staff rank, perhaps some legendary members with good trust. Learn from their conversations and try not to pay attention to the emotional posts.

So much information, more bad than good. Remember almost everybody has an agenda to profit so be skeptical about everything.
7764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will go up or down? on: May 21, 2018, 05:35:42 PM
Just read some rumor that Charlie Lee's Twitter or something has been hacked. Did not have much time to check if this is really true but the price trend does not seem too much different from the entire crypto board (everything is falling down again). I have been slightly disappointed with the fate of LTC since the ATH, especially after the failure of Litepay, but I have not lost my long-term faith in this wonderful silver version of Bitcoin. In LTC we trust.
7765  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: May 21, 2018, 04:16:21 PM
After ten years the market vale will be huge change because bitcoin price is high rate of crypto market. Now bitcoin price is low after ten years the bitcoin price 100k+ in crypto market. So if yiu have to follow the bitcoin instruction i am sure you have to gain in this crypto market after ten years. If you decide the hold on bitcoin after ten years i am sure you get a more profit.

I also believe in that, bitcoin after ten years im sure it will be at +70000$. Bitcoin will stay and it will rise higher in the future. Ten years later i believe bitcoin will continue to dominates cryptocurrency because many of us trully trust bitcoin. Im sure bitcoin will have a new technology sooner and actually bitcoin team are working with it. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and i think it will be forever as a king.

When Bitcoin first started out, no one would have absolutely guessed a single bitcoin would be $8k almost 10 years later today. It is not even 800,000 times what it was, it was millions and infinite times,,, so actually to say $70k is not even 10 times,,, quite "realistic" if you think about it. We may not even be able to recognize Bitcoin in 5 years, what more to say 10 years. Lighting Network might even be considered so old and slow.
7766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO and BOunty will End? on: May 21, 2018, 10:05:30 AM
These questions are always in my mind, what will happen if people will run out of ideas for creating a project for ICO? we all know that ICO will only be a success with a good Idea a good platform, even if you have a team and time to do a project for ICO without an idea it is useless because people will not buy your token, tell me guys your opinion about these, maybe someday people will run out of Ideas, Bounty hunters are also affected if these will happen.
If people kept running out of ideas, then we probably wouldn't have seen so many start ups in recent times. With the use of ICOs, it becomes easier for those brilliant ideas to get funding. Up until now it was hard for a new company to generate funds, but now, with the introduction of ICOs, that barrier has been removed. Now we see a lot of people entering this field and starting their ICOs. Investors too are backing them since cryptos are hot right now and everyone wants to get associated with it in some way or the other.
You have nothing to worry about, as long as this market is there, the ICOs will keep coming. The only thing that bothers me are the scam ICOs.

Yes, but look at the ideas of ICOs in general, they are all just repeats and rehashes of other projects. Old ideas just given some new marketing spin. And none of these ideas have really taken off, because people are not really interested in them, just interested in getting the tokens and flipping them for profit. Utility is a term too much used and has become meaningless. People are only trading tokens, no other value. Good riddance I say if ICOs end.
7767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: May 21, 2018, 08:25:13 AM
So according to trust nodes we see over $7 million in Ether being spent on the last 24 hours, all for the dapp games. Did not realize there were already so many games after cryptokitties came out. Most of them look so simple I am surprised people still want to play all these collectible games, especially when some of the items cost thousands of dollars in ETH.

At the same time Buterin said he should join Google instead? Sounds like a joke.
7768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: May 20, 2018, 03:20:30 PM
I would suggest holding coins in the highest possible form of security, but only for the coins you truly intend to keep or hold. If they are shitcoins and each needs its own qt wallet to download blockchain and sync, and you only have a few dollars of it worth, just save yourself the trouble and keep it on an exchange. I hate to trust exchanges as much as anyone else, but if it is for the convenience of keeping 10 coins all worth less than $100 each, the risk is worth the convenience.
7769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor on: May 20, 2018, 01:45:29 PM
Guess what? I never used any of the three mentioned and this means I trust none of them. I know Binance the best of course, thanks to all the shillposts earlier when they were about to launch. And it does have a good way of keeping itself in the media, running away to Malta,,, or was it some other offshore place,,, with the CEO giving statements like he really cares about decentralization (it is a centralized exchange so it is ironic to me!).

I would support ForkDelta for being decentralized, that is all.
7770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large win @ 7bitcasino.com on: May 20, 2018, 01:30:15 PM
For this large amount they most definitely enforce KYC/AML protocol and them being a large casino from the sounds of it.
Would you know of any institution just handing over $100,000 in prize money and not questioning who they are giving it too? Huh

If I am not mistaken, I have seen plenty of dice sites here process withdrawals of 10 BTC or more to winners. No questions asked. These are sites with extremely basic information required to sign up in the first place. MoneyPot when they still had the lottery jackpot, if I can recall, just let the user withdraw all 30 BTC that was won back then.
7771  Economy / Marketplace / Re: HTC is planning to build a blockchain-powered smartphone on: May 20, 2018, 10:45:32 AM
yes, HTC exodus is created to complement the blockchain ecosystem, there are many applications inside such as, Decentralized Applications and others. if HTC exodus is successful with this new project, I think there will be many new smartphones that will follow in his footsteps. hopefully with this development, the future will be brighter with new technologies.

What nonsense you are saying hehe. It is all the same nonsense I read when companies come out with this type of marketing propaganda. I love the idea of blockchain and smartphone but all these phones really are doing is just making their device easier to use with crypto and blockchain. You want decentralized apps you make them and use them on your own device. Not prebuilt on some new phone you have no idea where it came from or if the code is legit.
7772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: May 20, 2018, 09:56:59 AM
It will take a lot of time for Bitcoin to prove itself. For now, although among our community, Bitcoin is the most trustworthy coin, people who doesnt know about cryptocurrency still think of it as scam or bubble. But I believe it will have a bright future

I do not know about Bitcoin proving itself. It already has to me. And remember, Bitcoin does not need to prove anything to itself, it is simply there available to be used and it is up to us if we want to take the opportunity offered by it.

It has proven itself to be even more than what people thought it would be over the years. It will continue to do so for many more years.
7773  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Writer Needed on: May 19, 2018, 02:10:38 PM
I am not a native English speaker, and will admit my English is not highly polished, but it can be quite clean if I know I am writing content that needs publication. I am writing here to ask if you would consider specialized content written exclusively on a series of gambling events.

For example, I bet quite actively on soccer and can write quite well the analysis along with the wagers. It makes for useful reading of sports (soccer) plus the wager itself. Are you looking for someone like this as well?
7774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large win @ 7bitcasino.com on: May 19, 2018, 01:42:38 PM
Trying to find more info by googling it but can not find a news of a big win (around 11btc) at 7bitcasino. I have read many others big win on that site but not for this one. Usually some review gambling websites will use such big win to make a good advertisement. I wont believe it till there is a valid proof to support this claim.

I would call this advertising, is there cheaper and better way from this one? Newbie account, always newbie account, let's not forget that, comes here and wrote about some huge win, but proofs will come later, if ever. Now we all read about it, talk about it, we check that site where someone had some huge win.
People win big, but those people who win big don't go around bragging about it. Always advertising, sites have strange ways to advertise themselves. I will not believe in this even after they bring some proofs on the table, today its easy to counterfeit everything, couple screenshots doesn't worth a lot nowadays.

I think I agree with you. But at the same time, I guess he broke no rules. He said someone won 11 BTC and it is quite a little similar to others claiming (except he did not bother posting the proof). Jackpot is quite big yes but this is typical for slot games I think. Almost hundred thousand dollars. All he need to do now is to tell us the name of the slot and we can see if it is true. I know it is a casino but they all share the same slots across casinos right?
7775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wirex Payment Card is Ready with Crypto Back Feature on: May 19, 2018, 09:22:01 AM
It is not exactly an exclusive feature. One of the coins I have supported for a long time Byteball has always had 10% crypto back feature with all its participating merchants. It is a great idea to me to improve on adoption. You get people pay in Bitcoin and they get back some small amount of a new crypto. More people should try out this unique way of widespread adoption.

I still do not fully trust cards that still depend on Visa however. They always are in danger of getting pulled.
7776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 18, 2018, 07:15:31 PM
I hope that I will see $ 2 a coin in 2018. It seems to me that this is a realistic forecast. I believe in this coin. Last year, the coin was very volatile.

Realistic? Based on what? You believe in the company maybe, but you might not realize that the company does not need the token to be successful when it is already making a lot of money from all the banking partnerships it has been forming for the past year. They earn fees in dollars too so it really does not matter for them if XRP is $2 or 20 cents. They are making fiat profits from the fiat system.
7777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $900 a realistic prediction for ETH by EOY? on: May 18, 2018, 06:10:59 PM
From what I can see now, I would guess people are quickly giving up all their past predictions of old ATH and beyond. This means once more people are entering bearish mode and the lessons are usually to take this as a signal for buying. ETH does look attractive still at below $700 which is about half of the ATH it made this year. It just now depends on how long people are willing to hold and wait.
7778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China ranked ethereum as #1 and it has been dumping hard ever since? on: May 18, 2018, 04:23:15 PM
Not sure it is really such a case of Ethereum dumping hard, since almost the entire crypto market is being "dumped on" right now. You can see Bitcoin's struggles for the past week having a severe effect on alts and in fact, ETH is performing slightly better in terms of losses than Bitcoin, so I would not say anyone is dumping ETH specifically. Am losing a lot ground on Litecoin, for example, which is making me sad!
7779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Third Quarter is coming on: May 18, 2018, 07:45:42 AM
We are still only halfway through the second quarter, so too much time between now and end of June to predict Q3. As we know, 1 week in crypto can change everything, from bear to bull, from winter to spring.

My thoughts right now is that I'm too confused by the market reaction. Q1 saw dips and dips, I thought this was going to get worse, but Q2 we saw BTC move towards 10k before today again just struggling even past 8500.

I bet more of the same for the next 6 weeks and Q3,,, but I never bet thinking to win.
7780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BTC reach 12$K? And how about the altcoins? on: May 17, 2018, 06:24:40 PM
It is not a matter of can but a matter of when. It can happen this month, yes, but it is likelier to happen this year, and even more likely to happen next year. It is a matter of time. But do not forget, there are also likelihoods of it becoming lower than $1k. Anything has so far proven to happen, whether the news is bad or good. People thought the fork would kill Bitcoin, it made it stronger. People this week thought the big Conference would be good for Bitcoin, but we see it falling in price. Why ask, anyway? Is 12k your goal? Of course not.
