783  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 50 million from investors to create a massive mining farm in Texas on: December 09, 2019, 12:11:42 PM
The bitmain facility in tx hasn't even deployed from What I've heard.  I Interviewed about a year ago @ rockdale. They had bigger concerns then general operations with massive dip this time last year.  They hired people that didn't understand blockchain. I knew this based on my interview questions not really relating to crypto.  Who knows maybe they got it all together.

Any other ECDSA properties are used?

Endomorphism. It is a elliptic curve property, not a ECDSA property.

If kG = (x,y)  then  (λ*k)G = (β*x, y)  and  (λ*λ*k)G = (β*β*x, y)

where

Code:
λ = 5363ad4c c05c30e0 a5261c02 8812645a 122e22ea 20816678 df02967c 1b23bd72
β = 7ae96a2b 657c0710 6e64479e ac3434e9 9cf04975 12f58995 c1396c28 719501ee

λ*k is mod n,  β*x is mod p

where

Code:
n = FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFE BAAEDCE6 AF48A03B BFD25E8C D0364141
p = FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFE FFFFFC2F

In this way, you get 6 points with only 1 "operation" kG:

(x,y) (β*x, y)  (β*β*x, y)
(x,p-y) (β*x, p-y)  (β*β*x, p-y)

this explains why 1 of 6 will be valid if split gen right?

@LoyceV I do not understand why you merited 2nd post  but not OP who's clearly looking to earn some merit.
I have 0 smerit
Anyways great guide and input, I usually do .1+ in person with a repeat buyer. I used LBC , and triple checked feedbacks vs percentages. One could say that you get what you pay for a heavier fee can indicate a better/smoother service. Lighter fees usually target noobs and indicate scammers.  I like the dead even trades to use btc as a currency, not just a interest collecting item.

1:1, don't care for all the percentages.
I'll go first if it's not your first rodeo.

I'm in a similar boat. Nano might be a bit much for a child starter, and you don't want to bore them either, I started mine off with things like novelty bitcoin stuff and worked up to satori/small paper wallets it's working so far. Its touchy because the first part they get lost they tend to think it's boring.
Make the impalable, palable. Intangible, tangible.
 It's difficult explaining btc to most adults, children I would approach slowly. Just my opinion mine is a couple years younger.

798  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Pre-ANN] Any interest in this new coin? on: November 23, 2019, 04:03:10 AM
Really cool elaborate holos and a side inscription as corrosive stated, don't half ass it with blanks or something.
Edit-Maybe an indention for paper under holo so its flush with holo and different versions with different denominations. 1, 0.1 ,
 0.01, 0.005 ,0 001  inscribed on side or in holo

800  Other / Meta / Re: Auction feedback within hardware section. on: November 19, 2019, 11:39:57 PM
Well I think this areas straightened out quite a bit this year.
There are still a few weasels admittedly, but they get called out on their shit.
I'm going to give it a go , the weight of your feedback may help the consensus. @OgNasty
I will however leave a few disclaimers in said auction as to what recourse will be taken if the thread is moved.(if this topic is moved and activity stops after being moved auction may become void for exposure purposes.) Something like that.
I plea to the mods to give this a shot. I look in auctions section and it looks pretty damn sketchy over there the real hardware guys are here.  Over there every auction Is digital based. The only things that don't sketch me out is mods sig rentals and theymos's ad space.
