781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FailCommunity's FailCoin | News | Upcoming Hard Fork | PoW/PoS 3.0 on: November 13, 2016, 10:58:18 PM
THANK you, guys, really! I consider staysecure as a friend, despite the fact we haven't meet in person. He's a GREAT guy and I have much favors to return.

Probably I will start another full node soon.

Thanks, man. This would be rewarded sooner or later. Few people understand the concept of FAIL as a coin, but we're serious. Its hard to work for something, which worths pretty much nothing though. I can engage 82358 shills to describe how good we are, but this is not the way.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FailCommunity's FailCoin | News | Upcoming Hard Fork | PoW/PoS 3.0 on: November 13, 2016, 04:00:59 PM
A bitcointalk user nicknamed krile decided (on his free will) to set up a new FAILCoin node and now our network looks a bit better. Smiley

I know we've been a bit silent in the thread, but that doesn't mean we're gone. We are in fact pretty active:

https://twitter.com/FAILCommunity

https://www.facebook.com/FAILCommunity/

There are definitely some news regarding FailCoin's development, but at this point we choose to remain silent. Three things are sure:

1. FAIL is going to be hard forked.
2. FAIL is going to use BlackCoin's base.
3. The new FAIL will be a Full PoS coin.

Reminder: We are still struggling with funds and our block explorer hosting expired again, so if any of you wants to help, feel free to visit: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/fail/

Stay strong!

Cheers,
Spartak

I've already asked them on Twitter.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash Classic, what a stupid name on: November 13, 2016, 11:52:59 AM
Lol! Zcash for? So it means that it will be claimed as the real Zcash? Just like ETC claimed also? Do you think it will gain eyed watcher and speculators just like what happen on ETC? well lets just watch if this one will succeed  Grin but this would be interesting if zcash will got counter part and maybe it could lead do price downfall of the real zcash who knows

LOL? You think this is funny? The coin has $30k+ in daily trade volume almost right after it was listed on exchanges...
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash Classic, what a stupid name on: November 13, 2016, 11:40:25 AM
Just another fork, which will bring more speculation regulation to the cryptocurrencies.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POLONIEX locked up my LSK which worth 10 BTC for 6 days. I need help on: November 13, 2016, 08:55:00 AM
I'll try to help you.

EDIT: But while I can understand your anger, sometimes its better to use more "professional" wording.
787  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to scam the Bitcoin community for ONLY 0.4 BTC via a Press Release on CT on: November 13, 2016, 08:46:29 AM
Coindesk's new alt to pump is Zcash since several of the admins of Coindesk DCG & many more whales are invested in it.

788  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to scam the Bitcoin community for ONLY 0.4 BTC via a Press Release on CT on: November 12, 2016, 09:22:11 AM
We should put this to an end (or at least reduce these scams).

@Spartak
That us some what interesting but i don't like participating in these usually eh.
I suffer from lazyness LOL
Not that i thought you were offering.. just sayin'

"Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved." - Said by a child who died at age 14.

If you think that playing like "btctalk warriors" is enough, then ok. Same goes to Gamow.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just bought Bitcoin from a train ticket machine in Switzerland for a trip abroad on: November 11, 2016, 12:28:29 PM
Last month I saw the news and just refreshed my memories. First day of sale is... today, so you are most likely among the first (if not the first?) who used it. Smiley

We should put this to an end (or at least reduce these scams). I think that I can reveal that in the past ~1 month I've had numerous conversations with cryptodevil on IRC and I once talked with tmfp as well. I have an idea and some very interesting findings, which I can share with the prominent scambusters here, but I would do it in a Tox group chat or something of the like. I don't run it 24/7 and if some of you are interested, then please send me a PM.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new Chinese mining farm could have a huge impact on Bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 10:33:18 PM
I mostly meant that LTC and XCP are not that "famous" as Bitcoin, but their tech could be called superior. My bet is that if something will explode, that would be LTC or XCP. I am predicting a lot of failures in Ethereum and ZCash, but future will tell...
hope your prediction becomes true and even i do expect that the price of LTC will rise in the future,it all depends upon how much heat the devs can bring into LTC .

Many people have that misunderstanding. The devs should not have anything to do with the promotion of a given cryptocurrency.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new Chinese mining farm could have a huge impact on Bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 03:18:30 PM
the problem with their continuous increase in hashing, is that they are just stealing from each other, they are not really earning more, just increasing their electricity cost...so stupid

it would be wise for them to just maintain their hashrate and be happy with the same revenue

That's absurd.

A)  If the Chinese stop increasing hash power will the rest of the world?

B)  China has excess capacity and pumping into Bitcoin is really a good indirect way for them to store electricity.

Ideally, the West needs a less wasteful solution.  Unless of course we're gonna rename Bitcoin to ChevronCoin.

Honestly I don't get the battery analogy at all. can you tell me how to extract stored energy from btc?

Antonopoulos said it earlier this month.

793  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 09, 2016, 04:13:04 PM

Wow Sad Indeed, I didn't read that.
And now I fully understand you and your worries.
And still BTC price is "up like a Trump" and the alts are going bad...
Too many vectors for speculation, I don't like that....

Maybe we don't have to worry, because the Bitcoin network will be even more secured and the diff. rise would probably affect BTC price (same goes for some altcoins), but it would prove what I'm saying for ages: Decentralization is a dream.

EDIT: This post just made me a Legendary member. Much wow, such BS. Cheesy

795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: November 08, 2016, 01:18:49 PM
Are you guys even read? Who in his right mind will pay ~5 BTC in fees to buy ZEC @ that price?!? That's obviously a whale...
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: November 08, 2016, 12:15:04 PM
Of course, here and there, there may have been a silly person having bought a fraction of a ZEC for a crazy price, but I think this has been mainly people buying their own coins to prop up the market.

0.6 ZEC were traded @ 3299 BTC. That's roughly 5 BTC in fees (if we assume its 0,15%). I would call that person/group whale/s, not "silly".
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Petition: Request Litecoin developers & Founder to give up on LTC on: November 08, 2016, 10:18:13 AM
My issue with Litecoin is that it has relied on the glory of Bitcoin for a long time and now the lanscape has changed because there are so many Altcoins to compete with, it is very disappointing that failed to fly, see Dash for example there is something unique the team offers that differentiate the project but there is nothing Litecoin is known for.

Dash? You are comparing Dash with Litecoin? Please tell me you are joking... Dash was and is manipulated market from its start.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sorry to all who buy Zcash at 1btc + on: November 08, 2016, 10:10:35 AM
I think that everyone with an IQ higher than a room temperature was expecting this to happen, but that doesn't mean we should discuss this in a thread created by an MLM ponzi scheme shill.
799  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 08, 2016, 10:04:17 AM
It's officially not a mining facility, from that I see.

You (and the guy above) are not reading. Smiley
