So what happens over Christmas when there are several days banks are closed and traders can't deposit fiat but can deposit BTC? Selling becomes a lot easier than buying at that point. Is there a precedent for that pattern?

We've talked to Bittrex. They said 'a couple of months'. No mention of a listing fee. They also said that if the community showed interest it might speed things up, so please feel free to message them.

Volume still seems a little low. Wonder what will happen when traders finally notice for real.

Kraken looks like it has some volume. Finex really doesn't show much.
Makes me wonder whether 1) this is a little unconvincing or 2) it hasn't even started yet.

Yes, strange that people have this approach that a higher-valued crypto in BTC is less desirable, even if market cap is still low.

Yes, I've had the odd (entirely innocent) question about bigger blocks deleted. Think I was asking what the odds were for SegWit given current adoption. Not impressed but then, I never was with BCT. It just means there's even less reason to swing by.

Re: exchanges, as with all crypto coins it's not up to the dev or issuer - it's up to the exchanges. We've raised it with several, but ultimately it's their decision and their timeline. Please do put in a request if you'd like to show them it will be worth their while to do so sooner rather than later!

Hi everyone - just to give you a brief update. We distributed tokens to everyone for whom we initially had a Waves address (if you think there's been a problem, please contact us, ideally on Slack). Some people have added Waves addresses since then and won't have received their Incent yet.

For those who haven't received their Incent, please add a Waves address you personally control to your ICO dashboard. We're continuing the audit and will distribute the next tranche as soon as we can.

Bounties will also be distributed in the next tranche.

It's the same. 0.001 WAVES is currently the fee for sending anything.

Will get Pete to chip in on this. Basically nothing to worry about, we're just very keen to make sure this is done right! A batch comprising around 60% was sent out at first, but many people didn't have their Waves addresses recorded or other issues. So another batch will go out in a bit, and then probably another, and another...

Will be interesting to see what Yellen does tomorrow. 0.25% rise expected, which will upset the Chinese and prompt further outflows of money using your favourite vehicle for avoiding capital controls. Question is whether it's priced in, or whether it will knock BTC decisively through resistance.

The standalone app will update - just give it some time.
If you installed by downloading and unzipping the html, you'll need to do the same with the most recent version. Once installed, all your data should be there so you can login easily without importing your SEED or anything like that. I'd suggest using a fresh directory though and not deleting anything until you're satisfied everything is working ok.
