781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month after Bitcoin Halving. What's next? on: June 14, 2020, 10:05:04 PM
Possibly there are changes due to this last bitcoin halve and the system has been quite different from the last halven. Though the who idea of.loving this bitcoin halve is the pump which in the previous happened and.many tagged bitcoin as a ponzi scheme. Let be patient with Bitcoin and in due time everything will normalize. Although according to some sources, the price of Bitcoin will surge high and we might head to another all time high.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 14, 2020, 06:38:50 PM
Well the lockdown was horrible to me per se but was able to quenched the hunger of gambling during the lockdown. I wen into virtual sports betting and was doing this until recently when some games opened for public and some which we're expecting to resume back fully soon. This virtual sports betting is the reason why I love Naija bet among others, during the lockdown I couldn't get bored because of this virtual games which was also a source of help for me even though I sometimes lost to them. The bottom line is: I wasn't bored during the lockdown.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Automated payments on the ETH blockchain on: June 14, 2020, 05:43:30 PM

It would've been great for employers to send payments in ETH or any token of their choice in an automated manner. Something like Bitcoin's "nLockTime" feature right on ETH might work for this. Imagine working for ETH and receiving income on a determined timeframe by the employer. It would certainly revolutionize crypto jobs as we speak.
-

Have you thought about crypto price volatility? Example of the worst scenario. You receive a salary in ETH/other tokens at 12 AM. At that time the price of the coin was $ 500/coin. You come home from the office at 5 pm. It turned out that between 1-4 pm, there was a dump and the price dropped. If price goes up, above $500. Yeap, we are happy. But if not?

We'll are understand the market volatility and have been able to managed out respective portfolios through the huddles of volatility. What everyone should understand is: recipient of the coins should ensure to make a swap from the volatile coins to a stable coin immediately. Also, the employees can keep coins on a long-term hold which will definitely yield profits, but if they're in need of the funds then they can get their coins directly to exchange and get their fiats equivalent without huge loss.
784  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Pump and Dump Scheme? on: June 13, 2020, 02:17:47 PM
Good explanation, many of those who engaged on the scheme of pump and dump are mainly project developers down to their administrators: Back in 2019 I was asked  by a friend whom I meant on a group to join their pump and dump group, though I joined the group before find out their intentions of a particular token(name withheld) which was their means of defrauding newbies on the group, they did the first phase of their dubious act and succeeded but due to my little knowledge from this platform I decided to take my exit. Let's learn not to be greedy in life.
785  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Get-XLM.com Again XLM Scam Started on: June 13, 2020, 02:02:39 PM
That's a good one, many have fell for this airdrop of a thing, the truth about this airdrops is: many fell for the scam airdrops before it be investigated by good investigators. This airdrop came-up in our group and many registered with them but I refused because of my little knowledge on cryptocurrency. The big problem with this victims is: they don't do little research before participate on airdrops and sometimes they tend to look at the money offering by the airdrops. A little research could save many from this hassles, because they're getting smarter we must likewise do.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: June 12, 2020, 10:04:11 AM
<snip>
I personally do not do much sports betting but I do it with friends and colleagues. Some buds with crypto we do bets also but of course we start with only acceptable amounts. So right now all we have to do is just wait a little more before these start again.

Goodnews to sports lovers, happy to see the sporting room getting flavor once again with good friends that understand the meaning of sport. One of my favourite sport so far is the sporting games, during the lockdown I suffered due to some challenge when only sport events can bring. There was no argument of who will win the next match or the trophy, but, happy to see the games resume back for the entertainment of spirited sport lovers across the globe. Can't wait to see lineups for teams after a long break due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 10, 2020, 10:22:45 PM
I never keep track of my individual bets for the long term, but for the last 12 years I have strictly followed a maximum threshold on the amount being gambled every month. I never cross this threshold, even if I get good returns from any of my bets. And trust me, this has helped me enormously over the years. Saved me from heartburn and financial ruin.
Don't you consider one for your records? This will definitely help you track you gambling records either for your winnings or your lose. Setting a threshold for your gambling records is good but having the data will help fill your lapses. During my first time in gambling I used to gamble without records until when I ran into a great lose which I couldn't get help immediate. From that day till date, I always make my records straight and available when needed.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 10, 2020, 10:13:08 PM
Going back to gambling shouldn't be a decision at the moments because the said  novel coronavirus has not yet a cure, for anyone that contact the disease might be the end of their living. Humans should.avoid unnecessary risk for the sake of having fun or for money. How should anyone think of opening a gambling casino just for their selfish gains. My advise: stay off gambling casinos for the now to keep the spread of thee covid-19, pending when there is a possible cure for the disease.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca Cola going to join Cryptocurrencies Australia and New Zeland on: June 09, 2020, 08:03:06 PM
That's a good one for these companies to get involve into cryptocurrency is a giant step to global adoption, with this adoption, a new world of cashless policy will be recreated through cryptocurrency. Before we over happy, how about the coins they intend to accept? Hope not some random shittcoins flying around the world of cryptocurrency. Such a company should be mindful of the type of coins they will accept for payment, accept the top coins should be their priority which will help the crypto industry than to accept some fraudulent coins.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM IN AN OBVIOUS DIMENSION on: June 09, 2020, 07:31:34 PM
The only approach to these scammers is: anyone making move to invest on any project in this cryptocurrency industry should ensure to have research into the project before invest in them. Never be too expert and refuses to make your own research into that project you intend to invest, maybe there is something you can find out with a little research into the project. Although research can't be 100% sure into discovery scam projects but it will help.

Greediness is one of the major issue with young investors, they're very eager to make their profit without them considering the project standards and real world case use.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out for the following on: June 09, 2020, 07:20:53 PM
The only regret for those who will possibly follow projects because of those who are involved in the building or sponsoring the project will always be tears all the way. Experience has taught us that: many of these billionaires aren't doing those projects for.themselves but out to connect the poor to the rich (ie) those guys influence these projects for the poor to make their investment and then disappear from the projects.

Though, no matter how we try to advise those newborn, they will still get into this because of "let me try this out maybe I will succeed". Influencer's are been used to impact projects these days and later be abandon to crash to the moud.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: June 08, 2020, 07:05:39 PM
The mindset of those who belong to the world of Bitcoin is much important in this regard because they're the ones who can make bitcoin acceptable to others. They're the ones to believe on it existence and it potentials to make it great. But, what some do discourage others, we now have those who don't believe on Bitcoin but believe in it dumping. They don't recognize hold and it benefits, they're not friends of patience.

For anyone to take profit on Bitcoin, they must understand the power of holding Bitcoin on a long-term basis. I was fortunate to hold some of my coins back in 2019 and today can now see clearly the importance of holding Bitcoin on a long-term.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Basics : What are the actual use cases of Bitcoin ? on: June 08, 2020, 06:44:44 PM
One thing we should get use to is Bitcoin attacks. Attacks has been one of the Major happenings and we have adapt to the facts that; you can't kill bitcoin and nothing can any government do to it existence. Let's those who are just coming into the cryptocurrency take note of this and don't be dismay at it. Bitcoin was for payment method and the world have embraced it existence as we keep approaching global adoption.
I commend your effort, but be rest assure that it will continue, bitcoin will always find it way out.
794  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Project Covid-19: Supply to 50 (Now 70) families in PH Nigeria {Photo update} on: June 08, 2020, 10:14:28 AM

795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A day to celebrate and pay tribute to casinos? on: June 07, 2020, 08:24:50 PM
Don't you know you that; the casinos should be the one paying tributary to us as gamblers? We spent our hard earned money to their tricks while many times they get the money from us. The truth be told, some of  us who are into thus gambling have lost somehow to these gambling platforms and they haven't pay tribute to us, and you're saying we should, NO way. Let the casinos set aside some days to remember us(gamblers) for the helping hands we have extended to their virtual world. We have lost alot with those platforms.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should never become fully anonymous- don't fool yourself on: June 06, 2020, 04:02:19 PM
We shouldn't listen much about the government mates, the governments know that they can't ban bitcoin and can't stop it spread either. Bitcoin was created for anonymous transaction and making it non anonymous will defeat it purpose and goal of creation. Listening to what the government has to say shouldn't be an issue, let them try it ban and watch the next move from Bitcoin. For creating another layer and making Bitcoin non anonymous can equally harm Bitcoin reputation and adoption.

798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: June 06, 2020, 09:19:13 AM
I see my gambling as an investment and always keep my records whenever I gamble. New gamble always have it capital to enable me track my loss and gains while I proceeds in the game. From past till present, I go through my records on monthly basis to ascertain my level of progress while I re-strategize my movement. This has actually helped me in control of my addiction, though this addiction isn't the type you know on this platform lol.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: June 06, 2020, 09:00:00 AM
Why would anyone in gambling go extreme end to borrow money to gamble, even though the said skills proclaim are there? This will be the highest risk ever if the borrower doesn't have alternative means to pay back the said funds. Also, remember this: gambling doesn't depends on skills except "poker games" all others sorely depends on BIG time luck. In theory this can be carried out but not in practical, please don't try this if you don't have alternative means of pay back the borrow finds.
