781  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 09, 2015, 09:30:28 PM
While breaking in the new Antminer C1 I researched and decided to try the CKpool-kano.
It was about 9:30pM EST on Jan 6th.
I'm not mining as a "registered" user (signed up but could only get things going with my BtC address on port 81 not 3333).

My question is what time is shown on the "blocks"? straight up GMT?
Thanks and love the pool so far.
Getting "alive' report on the solo.cK on port 3334, (as one of the backups) may switch to it after a full week here just to try.

782  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: January 02, 2015, 02:40:43 PM
Call me crazy....but I can't quit mining.
Over the last 14 months its been all scrypt on GPU's and small asics.
Around 4GH on each.

Got bit by the BtC bug.
I tried cloud power and have 500gh on Zencloud, doing ok.
But I love the sound of fans.

Finally got a chance to setup the Antminer C1 yesterday.
Cool running, now i'm looking for a home for it.

Any pool running this long with this many supporters must be doing something right.
Room for one more?

Outstanding.....That's good news indeed.
I hope all they leave him with is a change of underwear.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: December 23, 2014, 11:31:55 PM
Dan that's great news.
Anyone here that's never hired a lawyer cannot comprehend that it isn't just a "hire and forget" process and whoops you win your case.
Your job is to provide him with whatever it takes to present and WIN your case in a court of law. Or else its a total waste of your money. You don't hire if you don't intend to follow through.

It's funny, folks criticize the team for pursuing the legal  route but, they'd also criticize if you didn't.
Hope it all resolves in the teams favor, looking really good at this point.
It's a great thing you all did for crypto in general. This is establishing "new law" for the industry to follow that will make it harder for the crooks, thiefs and scammers to rip off folks.
GOOD JOB!
Still holding my bag.

To the haters....put a sock in it. Roll Eyes
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: December 10, 2014, 11:19:04 PM
What is the real deal here WORE what do you want from syscoin you only have negative things to say. What can we do to make you happy? ....

He's just a professional forum troll that enjoys stirring up crap. Doesn't hold or intend to buy any coin he slams.
Ignore him....I have for a long time.
787  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: December 06, 2014, 02:24:29 AM
Found this thread after already ordered a C1 Batch 2 back on Nov 26. miner arrived yesterday Dec 4 and cooler kit today.
Trying to decide on psu. I have a Seasonic Platinum 660 that's idle. Better to add another just like it or just breakdown and buy
a gold 1000 of corsair or seasonic. Anyone else using a pair of gold 500/550's?
I'm about spent out.
Thanks.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KARM] Karma / ₭ / X11 on: November 22, 2014, 01:02:01 AM

789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 17, 2014, 07:22:01 PM
Whichever way you want to help push it.

Not trying to disregard your concern, but speaking investor to investor, your negativity is not attracting any new money.

Well said kamronk, getting harder and harder to understand his real agenda.
Reading through the past few days posts.......I wonder where some of the posters learned how to be such experts....and if they are ....why don't they go dev their own coin?

On the second part, he is right that some coins have nothing but shiny wallets without any usefull features. Others have whitepapers with a nice layout, but if you actually read them you realize that 85% is either common crypto knowledge repeated (to have more than 2 pages) or completely irrelevant stuff. Still those coins tend to have at least short-term success.

Now, that doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth, and it really shouldnt. It is just how this market works, what this market wants, it is not about fairness or anything like that. If you want to have successfull product, you cant ignore that. If you do, your coin dies.

Transfering that to SYS, that means you can have the best features, as long as you have to open the console to use them they wont get you anywhere. People will mostly ignore them. The very same feature with some nice graphic interface is worth a hundred times more. You can call that dumb, ridiculous whatever - I tend to agree, but the market says otherwise. People buy coins for nice logos!

Shiny graphics alone wont give you long-term success, but right now some short-term success couldnt hurt.

On a positive note, the twitter yccount came to life lately, keep that up.

I think you mis-understood me a little. What left a bad taste was getting into my first coin a year ago, after some mining and buying, then it had dev problems....ok...we rocked thru that....went on and by March it was a fraction of what I had in it.

Found another by April, mining went well, bought some, bought some more, mined my butt off.....bought 4- zeus Blizzards in June, still doing good. By mid~late June bag was worth over $1000. WoW....crash again with a somewhat rise and crash harder. Dev drama again. Crap! Hung around a bit and then discovered Syscoin.....not long ago gave up on Karma and sold my 25,000,000 off (less than $50) to fund some syscoin. Ack!

Which I have solo mined in the very beginning, merged mined some, better to mine other coins to buy sys as well as bought A BUNCH.

Point is....I get in long haul. Just my nature. True traders I guess are smart enough to see the "get in" and "get out" signs.
Me, I've been burned twice. I really, really feel this dev group is different. Just a victim of bad luck and circumstance.

This blows up a third time.....it's straight trading for a profit for me and I'll never, ever grab hold and hang on to a coin again. Meh!
I got long winded....sorry guys.  Roll Eyes

oh and yeah, CK, good things in the blogs!
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 13, 2014, 09:03:57 PM
Is there shame in relaunching the coin? I really like this coin and the team but this Moolah shit has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. This coin is still young.
Just my 2 cents

It only matters for someone looking for something to fault about a coin.....any coin.
There's a ton of work already done and absolutely no point in scrapping things to start over.....
besides...p[eople that wanted to criticize would just say...."Isn't that the coin that used to be Syscoin?".....
and you'd start all over again.

Just look at some of the junk out there selling for 500, 1000,5000 sato or more.
Don't really do anything just look pretty and been around longer.
I have a really bad taste in my mouth from a couple other coins these last 12 months.
One is selling for over 2000 sato....that's 2000!

Get in or get out and hold on.... when this takes off its going to be fun!

794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 10, 2014, 08:47:19 PM
Well SYYK made some outside media news....

http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/syyk-aims-to-make-public-messaging-on-the-blockchain-possible

No small statement...
"SYYK demonstrates the possibility of decentralized, uncensorable and absolute free (public) messaging on the blockchain."

They follow up with....
" Do keep in mind that SYYK is currently still in its early alpha stage, and a lot of coding needs to be done. Eventually, SYYK will become much larger and more powerful, turning it into a perfect money machine to attract investors."

Keep on keepin' on Guys!
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 08, 2014, 05:47:42 PM
Sorry, but this is one of the dumbest things I have read for a long time. Arent you one of the devs who are trying to bring flt back to life, which used to be a really nice coin? I thought about buying soime before, but after reading your last posts here I sure wont do it now.

And to all those who are still bitching about the launch. Yes, it was bad, yes everyone in crypto knows it. You are not posting anything constructive at all, nor anything new. The situation might be better without that launch, but it is what it is now. We cant change what happened weeks ago, so post like what-could-have-been are useless.

Amen to that HK.....I'm tired of hearing about the "launch" from all the armchair devs and their opinion about if this and if that it would be better or more successful.
Armchair quarterbacking.....maybe launch your own coin and see how easy it is.

Manbot rant in 4 ....3,2,1...
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 08, 2014, 11:57:46 AM
..... Moolah wouldn't have been able to justify holding on to the escrow funds if these devs had delivered on what was promised pre-launch. At the very least, Moolah would've been exposed sooner.

Not likely, AG would have found some other reason to hold back the escrow. he never planned on giving it back.
You can't blame the devs for being suckered like many others. He raided moopay, mintpal, syscoin and god knows what other "charities"
for over a million usd.

This guy was good, read how the Mintpal guys were taken in.
http://www.mintpaljustice.com/

We can hope two things....the civil action gets some funds back and a criminal action gets him jailed. Hopefully
for a long time.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: November 07, 2014, 03:20:45 PM
It would pretty much settle immediately if AG would pay up.
Of course he's rather drag it out and hope the other side either gives up or runs out of money.
That's the usual tactic in a civil case.

Don't think he has ben charged criminally yet.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KARM] Karma / ₭ / X11 on: November 06, 2014, 02:50:41 AM
Here's something that would be a good thing to do.

Syscoin devs are fighting this legal fight with the scammer green.
like so many things legal, he's trying the delay and bury them with paperwork tactic.
So often the one in the right doesn't win, the one with the most money wins.

The Mintpal owners have gotten involved as well to track down where their funds and  syscoins ico funds went.

Long story short, the devs at syscoin need a hand. It might help get us our funds back from mintpal as well.
Donate any thing you can. This goes straight to the attorney.
Lets teach a scammer a lesson for a change.
