Ach nur mal so am Rande, die Deutsche Bank gab vorgestern bekannt das sie keine Gebühren auf Konten erheben möchte... da man die Kunden nicht vergraulen wolle. Heute gab die Postbank bekannt (diese gehört der Deutschen Bank)  haha 1,9-3,9 bei Einkommen unter 3000 Euro.. Da fragt man sich doch schon wieder warum der niedrig Verdiener zur Kasse gebeten wird.. Statt der der es locker drüber hat!. Tolles System na hör mal... 'ne Bank ist doch kein Sozialstaa.... uuups. |

The whole KimDotCom filesharing service based on BTC micropayments will hopefully drive adoption and price.
at least Dotcom has realized one thing: without solving scaling, there can be no further sizeable adoption. I'm not sure that Dotcom has solved micropayments, though. Also, not entirely sure that's true. It just depends where the demand is going from, and what kind of demand there is from miners to continue holding. In other words, investors in digital gold aren't concerned a bit about 15 cent fees to get in the next block. I can't imagine who cares about paying 15 cents for a bitcoin transfer confirmed on the blockchain, but there are some crazies out there. This is not the place for this discussion. I'm sure dotcom has _not_ solved micropayments, at least not without some centralizing component. And bitcoin as the "store of value" and some other coin(s) for transactional purposes just does not make sense. The lowest friction money (with all the other important properties in place) will win and if bitcoin is too expensive (or impossible) to transact, there will be derivatives based upon it with lower friction (including the danger of fractional reserve, which I presume to be the _reason_ for stifling bitcoin on-chain growth) and also competing cryptos with lower friction will threaten it's unique position. In other words: bitcoins value (also the speculative part) stems from its utitlity as a low-friction censorship-resistant transactional network. If you take that away, the value will follow down. |

I tried to withdraw some Btc from my bittrex wallet.. After two days also i was showing pending. Now i cancelled the order and exchange it to doge coins and trying to withdraw doge coins.. But it is also showing pending for a long time. Is there any idea how much time it will take to withdraw from bittrex account?

I'm wondering if anyone has noticed burn-in on the screen of their Trezor? I recently changed the background of my Trezor and noticed that the original padlock logo (default background screen) was burnt into the display. I was surprised when I saw that, because I try and only plug my Trezor in when I'm sending funds, so it shouldn't have many screen hours on it.
I know it's a far shot, but any sort of a fix for this problem? I was thinking I could make an inverse padlock screen and set that as my background, but I'm not sure if that would do anything.

haha, und da kann man sich dann freiwillig registrieren oder wie?  EDIT: ne viel dreister!  This would mean that the input public keys and output public keys will be registered by say a French virtual currency exchange against an individual’s identity, that data would be relayed to the central database and if that same individual used a separate exchange in Estonia the other exchange would collect the new (or same) input and output public keys against the same user identity.

lol. Meinst du das ernst? Gegenfrage: überleg mal: Coin B kann alles was coin A macht, und ist zudem noch 10 mal wertvoller. Knackpunkt: wertvoller ist die coin weil sie verbreiteter ist. Utility ftw. Also macht coin A eben nicht alles was coin B macht, z.B. "breit akzeptiert werden". |

Smart ist ja gut und recht. Als ich 2012 das erste mal davon hörte (Mike Hearn in London) fand ich das ja schon recht weit hergeholt. Coole Ideen, aber irgendwie noch weit weg oder so schwierig in die Realität zu bringen. Ich weiss auch nicht, wie das "papierlose Büro" aus den 90ern vielleicht? Für mich steht immer noch Bitcoin als gutes Geld im Vordergrund. Alles andere kommt mir vor wie Ablenkungsmanöver. Hier ein erhellender schöner Artikel dazu von jemanden, dessen täglich Brot es wohl zu sein scheint, leuten "blockchain tech" auszureden  Smart contract is smart only when it is able to take custody over real assets. So the biggest obstacle to their usage is the absence of truly digital assets that can be managed using cryptographic keys.
