781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 28, 2023, 04:31:35 PM
Well some people gambling just for fun since they have enough money to bet. But why do you think they still have remain enough money despite playing gambling almost everyday? Is that because they are successful? Possible yeah but not only that. They have a good control to their self and wise decision making which they can avoid being addicted to it or losing more funds to it. If you lose funds it's normal to feel some emotions such as being sad or frustrated but if you can't handle it professionally you would do everything just to bring back what you've lost cause you take some loan or sell properties just to gambling. If you think gambling is not for you since it really need some strong mind and self control, go and find what you think suits for you like investment or trading. Because it might be fun at first but gambling could destroy life of people cause it could led to suicide due to debts.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin obsessed university lecturer. on: July 28, 2023, 03:31:41 PM
The idea is good but it will surely need a proper framework before it can be implemented into reality. The issue would start when students will only go on treasure hunts rather than studying and end up with a money-making quest. Lolz I think various universities already have Blockchain-based programs in their modules that are making new-generation programmers for the future. What I mean is, if we just add it as a subject for our students then also the interested candidates would participate in it and study for a career in the blockchain field. Now consider the example of the Avalanche project developed by Math professor from the university itself. I think we will see such progresses all the time if this system is implemented. The only catch is, it has to be on point and not some unplanned treasure hunt.

I don't know it seems like a great idea but if you're having a prize by just hunting a bounty, then for sure students would cut classes just to focus for that bounty. I think it would be better to still connect the subjects to some bounty for them to still focus on studying and the class. There's already a lot of universities that teaches crypto industry and blockchain technology. There's no need for them to force or encourage them with a task just because there's a prize. If they want to learn something they would search for it. Just give them some enough money for a good start consider it as part of the scholarship for the courses under crypto subjects. It can already be consider as work when you're trying to understand and doing stuff just for money.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 28, 2023, 03:09:24 PM
Most people in this world don't typically spend hundreds of dollars on restaurants, so this wise advice is not applicable to them. And those that do are either so financially secure, that they can easily afford that, or are so bad with money, that they need to address that before investing in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is just a saving/investing method, there's nothing special about it in this context. You could as well advice people to put their money in stocks, instead of spending it on luxury.

That statement for sure has a target audience because typically people who can afford to spend hundreds of dollars in a restaurant would be rich people or successful people. So maybe that statement is for people who would go to a expensive restaurant despite the budget and impracticality just to show that you can afford the food. We need first to have a good investment to secure your financial status which we can apply in investing in Bitcoin. If you can afford something expensive which cost almost all of your salary why not just invest some into Bitcoin right? There might not be special in this context but it's hilariously motivational to people who would spend all their money in temporary things.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: July 28, 2023, 02:31:41 PM
I don't have any secrets and to be honest, if some people around here indeed have some secrets which help to accumulate money I doubt they would reveal them out of the blue just because you asked, OP.  Wink

It is a matter of common sense, I think. It can be better to do your own research and even get some professional financial advise if you get it.

There people out there in the economic capitals of the world, whose work is to manage money to take a good cut of it. Consider that.

That's why it's called a secret right, because once people acknowledged that method they are doing for earning money for sure it could be an competition. Still I think that those methods that they've discovered is from exploring and risking their assets too so that could one of the reason for them not to reveal it. With or without financial advise if you are eager to learn and earn you would always find way to profit. Were already in the era of the internet there's a lot of advices and techniques online why do you think despite of the information online still some people doesn't become successful? Because it's still depend on the person on how they manage their financial. Even those government officials whose corrupt which is illegal they won't even reveal it to the public lol.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 28, 2023, 02:19:55 PM
You are a really brave person, and for sure you'll still haven't encountered a person who keeps blaming you. You introduce him because you know there are kinds of people whose mindset is to blame anyone when they lose, etc., and I want to avoid this kind of person as it affects me a lot and I'm not comfortable with it. Though it is your choice, which is still good, and that is what you prefer, we won't stop you about this as you really want to help others.

In situations like this, the best way to avoid being blamed is to explain how unstable Bitcoin can be. This is where many people introducing Bitcoin go wrong they keep portraying Bitcoin as if it continuously generates profits with no losses if you are introduced into a business with this pattern, you will undoubtedly enter it, and if anything should go wrong, you will undoubtedly blame who introduced you. I also enjoy introducing Bitcoin just that I will tell you everything and allow you to make a choice yourself, and also tell you about the security and other basics, in my opinion, we should make everything plain while explaining Bitcoin.

Indeed, there are many people when recommend bitcoin to others who focus only on the huge profits that bitcoin brings, very few will emphasize the risks that bitcoin poses to us. But there are also people who are very stubborn, know they are wrong but always find a way to blame others when they fail, they never admit to themselves. So honestly, I don't recommend bitcoin to anyone either, I don't want to get in trouble and waste my time.

Of course you will start with the opportunities and benefits of Bitcoin when introducing it so people would be interested to it. People love to be spoon fed with information that they think are easy money. So if you forgot to mention its risk definitely they would come back to you as they lose their assets. If that's the case you have some partly fault since you didn't gave all the information about Bitcoin which is pros and cons. But if you provided all those information and still they blame you for their loss? Nah, it's your fault man as you stake your money you should researched a lot about it first and started with small amount. I don't know it's true that introducing Bitcoin is an advantage but the hassle from brain dead people is much worse.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: Things you should know about Money mindset on: July 27, 2023, 04:18:54 PM

[1] There is money everywhere - When we were young, many of us were taught by our parents to study hard and then enter a good company to work after graduating. And there is nothing wrong with this, But there are also many of us who until they are old know that this is the only way to earn money, but you will notice that this is not the only option because you can build a business, offer a service to earn money of money.

It's not like before we were told to do IT because it's popular, or do nursing because it's in demand in other countries, do HRM, Police and so on. I'll just repeat, there is nothing wrong with these professions, it's just that the times are different today. And you can make money almost anywhere.

Many people have not been able to do their passion or talent because there is no money there, such as those who want to pursue art, leverage their talent or turn their talent into a hobby and turn it into a business. But in reality you can make money from the above. Because someone is making money from designing, drawing and digital art is doing it now. Even though there are hobbies such as taking care of dogs, iguana cats and others, the others make content on YouTube and earn money, and these are just some of the things you can earn as a hobby.

Bottom line is that you can make money as long as what you do has value. Because there are potential audiences or communities that need it for sure.

When we were young, our parents educated us with enough hard work money. And as a result of that hard work, we are currently able to work in various companies. And this education has brought us to a good position and a very good paying job. But those of us who haven't finished our education yet have chosen cryptocurrency as the only way to earn so that we can continue our own expenses from here. From cryptocurrency we invest small amount and give enough time to grow it back and here we start a small trade. We can start business from this situation and earn money from anywhere very easily. But there are many people who start trading out of passion and if they lose in the business they are very broke. But in today's era, almost everyone can earn money online in various ways who can continue their work as they want. Of course, if the work I do has value, then it is possible to earn money from it, and in the case of everyone, we always look at the means of earning in a big way.

Not only that we were told to finished studies, some times the pressure you have since we all have different interest and hobbies which can't be related to the course you are taking. It's true that having an educational background or degree would give you a good position to any companies as long as it's related to your degree. But sometimes we just want to have our own way of living which suits to some people which is crypto industry.

Parents would love to hear their children having a professional work field to brag to other people which is pretty common here in PH. They just don't know that in these days, we could earn money which is pretty high than a professional's work in online. You can even learn coding for free in Youtube then do some freelancing that could earn a lot of money. We all have different skills to earn money like you've exampled, maybe the pressure from your parents is the reason for me to risk something that I think would change my life.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small/medium scale Businesses confidence in accepting Bitcoin on: July 27, 2023, 03:21:50 PM

  • In countries where crypto are considered illegal isn't it risky to accept Bitcoin as a medium of exchange? Then why are some people still accepting it?

Since you've mentioned that crypto or Bitcoin is not allowed in the country maybe because it has a negative impact to the economy of the country or any other reason because crypto is decentralized which the government couldn't control so most likely these kind of transactions that still uses crypto might be used to an illegal activity. In crypto you can be anonymously send assets so it would be a good thing for a criminal act to do. If there's no illegal act maybe the owner is just a crypto user that would love to open for crypto transactions of course with risk.

Quote

  • In a trade does the buyer send their Bitcoin first or the seller send their goods/service?

If it's an legal business where they used crypto as transactions and the buyer would buy a good physically not digital. Of course the buyer would send the money first once the seller received the payment they are good to go. There's already existing digital payment here in my country which is called Gcash, so if one day my country adapt using crypto as payment it would not be a new thing.

Quote

  • I'm well aware of the dangers that centralized exchange poses, but doesn't their access to customers data make it feel safer to run a business? (Not to be confused for safekeeping of coins, just a means to run the trade)

If they might do something about those data and those customers report those issue of course they wouldn't benefit for that wrong doing. Imagine thousands of users using that exchanges with those fee in a long run you wouldn't even need to work from it. So they wouldn't do about it, its like a case with Mark Zuckerberg with Facebook. He was in court due to they access to any data of the users of Facebook but of course he told the safe and security of it.

788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kennedy Jr bought each of his 7 kids 2 BTC each! on: July 27, 2023, 12:24:09 PM
I don't know why it's necessary to question why he bought 2 Bitcoin. Imagine if you buy 2 meal for yourself and asked you why did you buy 2 meals for yourself? Then you might answer many possible answers it can be because you are hungry or you bought extra for your launch. So it might be an invested to have an equal amount of Bitcoin which is 2 since it has a huge value already. Why would you hassle yourself to buy Bitcoin with decimals sht on it when you can just simply put "2 Bitcoin pls for my children". It's not about the resources but maybe for the practicality. I just don't understand why this topic should be discussed when everyone could buy whenever they want and how much Bitcoin they would buy.
789  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 26, 2023, 04:28:15 PM
On that first statement about online loaning, it's not true that no one will haunt you after you get that loan, there's no free money and for sure it will hurt your credit once that loan reflects to your account, or something that treat loan the with credit score, and regarding to your second statement about offline loaning, yeah better to think before taking that loan, make sure that you have enough expected salary to cover the loan and the interest.

Else, those companies will haunt you and will do everything to make sure that they will get it whatever the cause of their actions.
Yes you have a point here but you know one thing, those people who do collect online loans are having a different mindset from yours, there thinking faulty is very different from yours because they haven't seen any victim's. Some of this loans platforms are been controlled by the government especially in my country, here in Nigeria it's somehow different some loan platforms are not like the other, if your loan is not cleared they will call you to pay.

That's actually common way of making you pay thru online loans, if you haven't pay the loan in time of course there would be consequences such as the interest will increase or your credit score would be reduce things like that. If you still haven't pay yet they would call you already asking you to pay. When they feel like you're not going to pay those loan of course they could contact the management you're working for asking you to pay where they could reduct the loan from your salary. Since when you're going to take a loan they would ask for your income and where do you go to work, they could also interview you if you're salary could meet the standard for taking a loan. They couldn't just go to your apartment and ask you to pay but they have alternative ways for you to pay back the money you borrow.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: July 26, 2023, 03:57:02 PM
Just imagine coming from a country where the health services are free and hospitalizations are mostly taken care of by the government. Then you'll be going to the US, where you thought it was free but it ain't. It will really affect you financially because you'll shoulder it. It really gives a hard time to the citizen, but we hope that the government will not remove it. It is mostly about educational assistance for students, but again, it doesn't mean that we just rely on them; we should also do our hardship.

Sometimes despite the health services are free, some of the hospital doesn't have enough equipments and staff to assist the people especially when it comes to emergency. You'll be given a bed or wheelchair but you will wait for hours before they even take care of you so just imsgine if that's the situation and you're dying right? I'm not blaming the hospital itself but the government, due to its corrupt system it can't even provide a good facilities, enough salary from the staffs and equipment for the public hospitals. With that case some people would still go for the private despite the cost due to the comparison of the services. In short even when there's subsidy applied if the government itself is corrupt maybe it's useless.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A neighbor next door on: July 26, 2023, 02:50:06 PM
If you are aware that your neighbor living next door is into drug dealing and he come seek your advice how to buy Bitcoin, will you teach him?

What comes straight to mind is embezzling the ill-gotten money, but is this even safe? My other neighbor knows I am into Bitcoin and he learned from me, I guess that's how this other neighbor knew, I told him to go meet the next neighbor but he said he is not ready to teach.

What will you do if something like this is happening around you? Why would a drug dealer want to learn Bitcoin if not for a safer haven for running the business?

My mind isn't settled as I keep thinking different things, what is on your mind readers?

If you are aware that your neighbor is a criminal doing illegal stuff, then you're not comfortable to be involved to that person since he's part of an illegal activities you could just say no. But if you think that might threaten you just simply tell the basic stuff and say "do your own research". There's nothing wrong for any people to join Bitcoin but if it's involve you or your safety just avoid it. We all know that due that Bitcoin is decentralized so it would be hard to trace someone's identity since you are anonymously having a transaction with Bitcoin. So it wouldn't be new for criminal to be interested or using Bitcoin since that way they could avoid being caught. Maybe due to huge amount of money they have it would be suspicious to run a business for them, so they settled with Bitcoin to invest their money.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: July 25, 2023, 03:58:49 PM
Because I leave in a country, where the subsidy for PMS(petrol) has been removed, and almost immediately, the citizens are feeling the effect of the petrol subsidy removal.

That's sad to hear, but my situation in my country is more worse about this kind of issue about the Petrol. Because in your country they have subsidy to give from the Petrol to give to it's citizens, but in my country there's none plus the cost of the petrol is increasing fast due to inflation rate that affected the Petrol. Of course it gives a negative impact to the people especially to the people who needs petrol for their motor vehicle for their work. Imagine you working to provide for your needs and the little help the government could give were taken away? Nah one thing that first come to my mind in this kind of situations are corruption.

Quote
What do you think? Is government removal of subsidy from essentials products, services at this period of economic hardship people are facing the best policy a  government can embark on in the process of building her dwindling economy?

I think if they implement this kind of policy in the country of course there would be a substitute like giving them a job, shelter or even education. As long as those money that were taken away from the subsidy would be use wisely to improve the country. I know that they are having a hard time to determine where to focus investing their money in any country. For example in my country which is PH, they invested at skyway and new railroads since one of the major problems here is traffic. Of course due to those investment there would be a hard time to provide the subsidy for the people. Maybe if there's no corrupt officials maybe losing subsidy despite of investing to any other projects, subsidy would still exist.

793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 25, 2023, 03:44:03 PM
I am from a country where crypto currencies are strongly legalized. I know about the hardware wallet security it's best for the long-term bitcoin holder. Now is there anyway to import a hardware wallet to any country where crypto currencies are illegal ?
And one more things I wanna know that how can I chose a best budget friendly hardware wallet?

If it's banned in your country isn't your just putting yourself at risk? Some countries ban crypto industry or blockchain technology to avoid any transactions with decentralized system. In your post you OP, doesn't specified some information so it's hard to give advices and opinions. But based on your post, I think hardware wallet it's not really prohibited you can try searching online first in your country if there's available if there's none then it might not allowed. If that's the case try international orders of course check first if it's legit and for sure it wouldn't be a budget friendly since it's international delivery. And I think they wouldn't even know what's the hardware wallet purpose. Just be careful because once you are caught, you will have some record and they might have an eye for you or in short ban list.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 24, 2023, 03:26:24 PM
If you are a good trader you will find these two as important to your assets. Because due to it's volatility of Bitcoin, of course it's value changes time to time then you would take advantage of that situation. If you are investing for sure you would hodl some Bitcoin in a long term so when bull market comes you would gain profit. When bear market comes you wouldn't panic selling as you know it could recover in a long run. But you will take advantage and would buy more Bitcoin so when it come back to it's value you will literally profit. Still I find this situation depends on the person. If the person are just starting to invest with huge cash of course they would aim for the bear market. And in the process they would already aim for the bull market then bear market again. It's just a cycle no need to be anxious when the market is unpredictable cuz it's volatile.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: July 24, 2023, 02:44:22 PM
As I head of family with a kid, I would consider moving abroad when I wont be able to earn and feed my family, to a country where I would be able to provide my family all necessary. I think this is all a matter of money. I am not a person that is a fan of surviving, I prefer to give myself and family comfort. Maybe also a war is the reason I would move abroad, but in all other ways, I think I wont move.

If you think you have more opportunity abroad than in your own country well that's a good choice since you will have to provide the needs of your family. But seems you are not having a financial crisis since you are really settled in your homeland. Well your decision is actually good as you think many situation first or scenario. In my case, there's less opportunity to my country since even engineers are paid less than a call center. Even you say started first but we all know that engineering requires some degrees and knowledge to become an engineer. But yeah the salary are almost bare minimum. But if we go abroad that salary would 3x. And that's what I'm thinking if I worked abroad and there's war then I would get stuck, plus I'm planning to bring my family to live abroad I'm just scared with this kind of scenario.
796  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mag-ingat sa bagong paraan ng mga hacker at Scammer on: July 23, 2023, 04:28:52 PM
Habang tumatagal lalong tumatalino ang mga hacker. Kya dapat sumabay din tau how to prevent this kind of scam.

797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Impact of Bitcointalk forum in our lives on: July 23, 2023, 02:37:46 PM
I want to use this opportunity to acknowledge the importance and good impact the forum has done on our individual lives,  first I want to acknowledged the founder whose identity is unknown but called "Satoshi Nakamoto". Unlike other platform that existed for sometime and later crashed, but Bitcointalk forum is here to stay. The forum has provided an avenue were people that has no knowledge about crypto to come and learn from higher members and be aquinted with crypto knowledge, gone are those days when you pay or looking for people to show you how the crypto works and for you to venture into it, as such you will be charged for the services, but these forum does not only educate you about crypto but also provides a platform were you can be working to make some money after getting to certain Level such as Signature Campaign.

To me these forum is like a news channels because it has almost all the sectors were you could get information about crypto, economics, and Local Board which comprises of different countries sharing information about their country through there local boards.

I believe that through this forum so many persons has achieved something, please the floor is yours to share your knowledge and experience on how the forum has helped you in one way or the other.

It's really helpful as you can ask questions here about problems and issues you having regarding about crypto industry or Bitcoin. To be honest, the first time you have interacted here in bitcointalk it's more like having an informative information with anyone here or even sharing the same interest for example about political issues, your hard times experiences in serious discussion and many more. Since you've mentioned where you can also earn from this forum which very helpful to get hands on to Bitcoin without even needing inserting money. You'll just have to provide the knowledge and be to contribute more in the forum for you to be qualify. And there's also other services here where you can earn you'll just have to explore it for yourself. This forum helped me a lot, you'll just need to be part of the forum with sharing thoughts and experiences, much better with facts.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 23, 2023, 12:55:00 PM
~snip~
We can't tell if how those streamers set it up, but one thing is for sure,

They are doing it to attract gamblers to use their referrals and bring more people to use the site. It will bring them viewers
plus the ref bonus that they will going to receive from the casino itself, meaning to say, whatever it is money will flow for
them, that's what matter for them and they will continue to seek for those followers to earn more.
The streamers attracted many gamblers to follow them by joining them using their referrals. The bonuses received by the streamers also became large, making them promote their casino more often. And when those streamers get big with lots of followers, they might find it easier to attract gamblers who have just watched their videos because there are already lots of people joining using their referrals.

And this is why the people who join the streamer must be able to control themselves because the streamer promotes the casino, while those people join because they are interested in gambling. And if they can't control themselves, they will only lose a lot, making them sad and regret it.

It looks real and deceiving a lot of people since they tend to trust someone who's popular and trying out the game which they don't know they might get paid as an marketing strategy. And that's actually true most of the streamers uses their fame to fool their followers to try on that gambling game so once they click the link posted by the streamer then that's the time where they will earn money since referrals are huge in numbers, the more you invite new players the higher the bonuses. Not only that, they could just simply have an alibi if people tell that he's scamming by just saying he was paid to promote the casino or any gambling game and act like he's not aware from it. Just don't trust anybody you should do more research if you are interested in some gambling online.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 23, 2023, 10:49:56 AM
I know that it is not too advisable to teach kids bitcoin, but you can still teach them if you want them to have the idea of bitcoin. I want to share my strategy on how to teach kids bitcoin and you can try it. Especially, those of us that want our kids to know what bitcoin is or have the basic knowledge of bitcoin. If you have a cartoon on bitcoin, you can put it for them to watch and after watching, ask them if they enjoyed it. Tell them that whenever they watch the cartoon, you will give them a reward, and it should be the something that they like most. Maybe candy, ice cream whatever that you know that makes them happy when they eat it,but something easy to afford. Like down here I can buy some chocolates for him. Tell them to watch it every evening or when you think is cool for them. Don't forget to keep to your promise whenever they watch the cartoon. You will see that they might not like the cartoon but they will love to watch the cartoon based on the benefit attached to it,and some will love to watch it not because of the benefit. You will see that consistent watching of the cartoon will begin to send messages to them about bitcoin and before you know it they will start asking you questions from the cartoon that they don't understand. From there you might take over from there. This is what I think that will work for me but it might not work for everyone.
I have two cartoons on bitcoin

Turtle Twins

Tears of Clowns

What are your views on this.Let's discuss.

Wow, I did not know there was a cartoon presentation of Bitcoin. That's actually good since kids are more into cartoons and easy to understand by the kids. Though it's not really advisable to teach kids crypto or Bitcoin, maybe it would be good to introduce it to them when they are already teenagers. Giving some rewards is actually good maybe you could ask some questions like a little quiz so for them to really watch and understand the videos as they know you'll be asking them regarding the video. If they might ask further more questions about Bitcoin just give them the basic information that their learning capacity could handle. The rest of the complicated things when they reach the proper age where they could have their own decision making which is 18+. Since Bitcoin is not easy as it looks in the cartoon since you will be risking your money or your kid's money when they invest without deep knowledge.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: July 23, 2023, 07:23:42 AM

Here is what happens to my friends and me and I am sure this is a reflection on different financial values and life attitude in general. Well, I don't drink any alchohol while a few friends of mine love drinking very much. They would gather to have dinner/drink almost every day(at least four times a week). I am often invited but due to my no-drinking habit, I usually turn the invitation down. We are all family men but they are a few years older than me. Their children are much older than my kid so probably they don't need their fathers' attention and time. I always put my family first so this is also one of the reasons I don't join them that frequently. Financially, every gathering meal/drinking is not cheap because it involves a lot of drinks and dishes. The average cost of such dinner/drinking is equivalent to 1/5 the average monthly income in the city where we live. So every month, the cost for these "gatherings" consumes all the income that a man can earn for months. This is considered a huge waste of money in many people's eyes cause most people don't earn much. Although I don't drink, occasionally I will treat them and pay the bills for the guesture of friendliness. Do you think my friends' lifestyle is a waste of money and time ? How much do you spend on such gatherings on average ? Please let me know.
Here's the thing. You can take it practically and suppose that these people are wasting their money away, which is true cause there's no reason why you should spend that much on stuff that wouldn't last you like food and drinks, and they do this on a regular basis too which is weird but whatever. In any case You can also see this as these people trying to enjoy their lives to the fullest. They prolly know that it's impractical, they most likely know that it's stupid too, but they are people who are having fun with each other's company and that alone, at least for me is already worth the money that they are spending. Perhaps it's not your cup of coffee my guy, but we can't shit on other people's way of living just because it's not up to our standards, just as they can't shit on yours cause that is how you want to live your life.

Exactly, there's no need to differentiate people or label them as "impractical" if that's the way of their living. It's like thinking of you're much better or you have more savings than them because you are not spending a lot on random things or pricey foods and coffees. Have you wondered why people could still afford to buy those things whenever they want? This means they afford to buy so why won't they spend their money on things that make them happy. Doesn't that the point of being rich or having enough money to some people? To afford things and enjoy life using their money? Because some lifestyle must be a waste but if you keep comparing yourself to others then why you're not rich and have you enjoyed your life for once?. Just live the way you want if you think that is good for you then go with it. Comparison is the worst in our mind to be honest.
