7821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: March 12, 2018, 09:48:36 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

In that situation, you have to better stop, relax and Go home. The small money that you  left Will gonna let you Go back home, rather than you just Go ahead with nut headed , frustated and a loser. If it luck ito Go for gambling, then the whole world then maybe doing it already, but Its only by luck when you win and become a millionaire instantly, but nobody had win through gambling, because everytime they play more money, then they Will have more money to lose all over again.

Stop the game would be the better choice in such situation. But I doubt it will be easy to achieve. Mostly, gambler will think shortly when faced such bad condition. It is how to get back the money that has been lost, in any way.
And that is the reason why a lot of gambler is broke because they only think of what's in the present and don't think for long term. They could just rest and wait for another day to gamble and try to win back the loss.
Having kind of behavior should really be cut-out because this will really lead you into serious problems when it comes to finances.Playing like theres no tomorrow is a bad habit and gambling shouldn't really be treated on that way.Always go for long term as a smart man,you should avoid on having a problem at all cost.We should play gambling not for chasing money but playing this thing for having an enjoyment or filling out your pleasure.
7822  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin will be declare as legal or not ? on: March 12, 2018, 09:34:13 PM

bitcoin will be legal one day but when governments do tax regulation ... this may be close at hand
Centralizing and decentralized stuff wouldn't really be possible this is why they do adopt and regulate it but not completely on full control but only having the mandation of paying up taxes when it comes to crypto earnings or any possible ways on extracting tax from it.When we do talk about legality it would really be mainly talking about being used without any restrictions on particular place/nation/country in all firms.
7823  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 12, 2018, 09:21:12 PM
bitcoin for the main income in daily life in fulfilling the need I feel too risky if you only make long term investment or short term.
but if you are a bitcoin miner who has a large capital I believe bitcoin can be your main income.
Mining or having your own miners will really give you the chance or opportunity on making out daily or constant income but with other terms then achieving this state would really be hard.Bitcoin investments or involvement would really be a risky thing to be considered to be your main income. We do know the volatility of prices even though you are an active trade but it wont really assure you out to make money constantly and if you just purely rely on it then its not really a good thing.
7824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Highest Reds on Dice betting setting on: March 12, 2018, 09:07:28 PM
Am a casino dice betting player and i will like to know from experienced dice betting gambler the highest number of reds they have got in a row on a certain payout or setting for a certain periods of time. For example:
On 2.4x payout for 2 hours, i have got 22 reds in a row on bitsler
On 6.66x payout for 2 hours, i have got 63 reds in a row on bitsler
On 4x payout for 4 hours, i have got 37 reds in a row on bitsler.
On 1.98x payout for 1 hour, i have got 19 reds in a row on bitsler.
On 19.8x payout for 1 hour, i have got 167 reds in a row on bitsler.
On 10x odds for 12 hours, i have got 119 reds in a row on freebitco.in etc

Pls share your experience and let me learn from you. Thanks.

Not a shocking thing which I do only see normal events which you will really get high losing streaks when the odd or payout is higher which is a very normal thing on playing dice.Seeing those reds will really wreck youre entire balance but well it would depend on how much is your base bet. The higher the odds the higher or longer the streak.I have experienced this stuff back in the past.Usually I do play with 2x payout and experience maximum of 20 lose streak until my bankroll vanished.
7825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 12, 2018, 08:45:03 PM
Guys, I know that many of you have already discussed this issue regarding quitting gambling as it is addictive, and I know that this thread is just like any other one. But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.

So, guys. Quitting gambling has to be done by quitting yourself. What I mean by that statement is that you should no longer be yourself or what you are. You are now a man of greed and addiction. Who was the person you were before you start gambling? Perhaps you were addicted to something else. Perhaps you were just a normal man living a normal life. Now you are a different person. What I want you to do is that you should be aware that gambling too much will make you lose yourself. Second off, you should sit with yourself and write down the negative effects of gambling. Do not be like "What if I win next time, what if I get lucky next time." No, that is not you who is talking but your greed. Do not give yourself false hopes because "What if" is a term used to talk about unreal action in the past or the future. You can neither change the past nor be accurate about what future will be like.

Then you should practice positive self-talk. Fill yourself with positiveness. Have a strong willpower and determination because believe me, once you are committed to something, you will attain it. If you want to give up gambling, then you can do it because other people and I gave it up.
I used to gamble a lot with my friends and I would be lying if I said I did not learn many things. But the negative effects overcame the positive ones. I took a decision to stop gambling. I filled my time with various activities. In time, I started to forget about gambling. It is like moving on. If you want to move on, get yourself from the routine you used to be in. Your brain is functioned about a certain routine. You will find it hard to adapt to the new routine, but believe me, in time you will get used to it.

I hope you guys achieve what you aspire. And I hope this thread will help you, even though I am sure I am going to get negative feedback. But it is okay, I am open to everything. Have a lovely day, Hadoooken!

Yes to quit gambling is to quit yourself, because if you quit gambling yourself will be no to gambling also as long as you decide to do it you can do the quiting. Because gambling is not good especially when you're an addict you just.
Many people compare quiting of gambling with quitting of smoking, although these both are same but I think gambling is making more negative effect. If someone is quitting gambling, he must ensure his mind to keep away from all such stupid fuds and convinces that can help those people get back to gambling track. We must quit at once, although it is hard but is not that much harder as well.
Smoke addiction can really give you some serious health issues but we all know that this effect would only come out for how many years of smoking which people wont really mind of on quitting unlike on gambling where effects can really be felt since the primary target of this addiction is to wreck you out towards your finances that can put your whole life into mess in a short period of time which this is the difference among both addictions.
7826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS GOING ON? Come back form holidays and everything red????it is over? on: March 12, 2018, 08:29:54 PM
All my coins are badly red! I know...Hold and blabla...but jeez...i was away just few days ;/
If you are stressed out then better go back on vacation and sip out some juice and see the sunset which you shouldn't be stressed out into this very bearish market. If you are just new into this crypto thingy then most of the time you would really got shocked on how do prices moves into this very volatile market but if you are already a veteran then this thing isn't really new anymore into your eyes which you can anytime comprehend when you do see reds.
7827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: March 12, 2018, 07:46:11 PM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
Everyone do have its own view when it comes to cryptocurrency potential growth in near future but talking about 5 years time and saying total transition of all people to use crypto then it is most likely an impossible thing to happen. No matter how I positive on crypto progress but it wont really comes to a point on fully transitioning out on using up crypto on daily living.I can say such thing because we can base on the decisions being made by government and we can already presume on whats next.

This is just really like as if you were moving on thing that you had committed since you had already made a mistake then you should completely stop when you are already compromising your financial and with our own minds if you would really be serious on commanding it or to think off that you must stop then it can really completely stop without hesitation and this would already matter on your strong self control.Just follow on what you are aiming for which is quitting and your actions would do the rest.
7829  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: March 09, 2018, 01:00:20 PM
Man, is this really for real? I have been using hitbtc for quite some time now and haven't really experienced any problem or whatsoever there yet. But if these issues are really true, then thank God i found this thread. I sure thought they had great services. Although I haven't tried their support yet. I shouldn't wait till this happens, I think I'll just pull out all my assets while I still am not facing any problems yet. Good job in making this thread, I hope a lot of newbies will also sees this or even longer players that does not know this yet so they can avoid being scammed by hitbtc.
same as me never has bad experience using that exchange , actually i just use that exchange yesterday and widraw my btc and its only take 30mins to recieve my widrawal i still trust this exchange as long as i dont have bad experience using that exchange i stil use it.

Actually, i'm new in trading and Hitbtc is my first exchange site to trade my token through bounty campaign and i never had experience any problem using that site, but the bad thing for my own experience when i use that site using my phone a little bit lag and the rest it's good.

Actually most of the new coins which are in ICO stages or needs to be listed get listed on this exchange generally first and thus people tend to have the account here. But considering so many people having issues also cannot be ignored and try to be safe by not keeping much btc or coins on this exchange if you are using it.

You dont know on what you are trying to say on here which most coins are still on ICO stages doesnt even know on which exchange they should be listed even devs would really need to plan out regarding on this matter and we do know that most erc20 tokens are commonly listed into Etherdelta before hitting up another tier exchanges which Hitbtc is belong. This is way more better than on those common decentralized exchange.Keeping coins on exchanges is always never been suggested.
7830  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Protection against armed robbery of Bitcoin on: March 09, 2018, 12:35:57 PM
I am sure that there is no way to protect except ideas below.

1 Make yourself strong.
Do workout and always bring something to protect.
However, if the robber has gun it will be hard to protect your life by muscle.

2 Hire someone
I once met a co-founder of ADA and he has bodyguard to protect himself.
If you have enough, you can have your own secret service.
However, it means that you are going to lose your private.

So, I think the safest way is to immigrate to a country where only rich lives; Monaco could be good.
Rich people do not need to rob BTC, since they already have enough in fiat.
When you are man even do have a tough body but it wont really work out if 3 man would really rob you out.You cant perform those moves which can be seen on movies but when it comes to single person  then you might have a chance but would really a life-threatening move.If you arent sure on what you gonna do then better to surrender those coins and dont risk your life on it.This is why its important to consider your own security if you do know yourself is handling lots of money. In this world criminal minds are just on the surroundings just waiting for the right timing on robbing people which they do know that have some serious amounts in their pockets/wallets.
7831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 09, 2018, 10:34:50 AM
Did anyone here have experience a walk of shame (Walking home since you have a loss all your gambling money in just one snap)? Well, It did happen to me once and I'll never do that again. It was the bad year for me (Peek of my addiction), I normally left my atm/credit card at home if I were to visit a casino and have enough money wih some changes for my stay, food, drink and my fare. The first time it happens to me is when I was so frustrated because I can't win up to point I already spent my allocated money for my fare. I was devastated that I need to go home at 3 a.m. with no money literally and I haven't got a phone in me (which make it worst). Started walking from the casino going home it was the longest walk I ever made I pity myself and upon arriving at home my wife and my kids are already awake, I just can't bare to look at them. I don't even know what to say at that point. I just walk in shame, in front of my kids.

How about you, have experienced it? We all have different interpretation on "Walk of shame".

Honestly, lots of times already especially when I was still a student. Since the only source of funds is my allowance, then once it was busted no way I can get have a money again for period of time. But for the amount involved, it's not quiet a lot but back then, it's kind of decent amount to me since like I said, I have no other source of funds.

Damn I remember those days where you will go home empty. And what the funny thing here? Im walking home with my head looking at the ground expecting I can pickup a money somewhere lol. But that not leads me into crazy activity just to get my loss money back.

Regret yes, but on the other hand that didn't stopped to me play as sometimes the output is good.
Regret do always comes in the end but those things would be wiped out once you have committed wins again on playing gambling which it would wipe out and you will forget those hardship you had experienced since the situation did turn upside down then you will think off that it isnt really bad to completely stop gambling after all inspite on committing mistakes all over and over again. You will surely stop if you dont have already the money to spend on where comes to a point that you didnt even have the money to buy your own food.
7832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: March 08, 2018, 11:33:59 PM
Nothing is impossible, all may happen. But I think it would be quite difficult price ethereum (ETH) to return to $ 400, because the value of ethereum is quite stable, and follow the rising bitcoin value.

Yes the price of ethereum cannot go back to $400 if you see the market are in red line right now because of what happen to binance bit still the price of ethereum are around $700 this is a good sign that ethereum are doing great but if OP prediction will happen I will buy more ethereum righ now its hard to achieve that amount in my opinion.
There would really be no assurance into this very unpredictable market which means anything can happen in a particular time and any coin can really reach out unexpected low price range again.Going back to $400 or -50% on current price of ETH isn't really hard to go back but It would be only possible if there would be sudden news towards some issues that will really make it down.
7833  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BTCSPIN Casino🎲170+Games And Growing. Register And Grab Your 300% Bonus!🎲 on: March 08, 2018, 10:42:20 PM
Could you please process my deposit? It has 2 confirmations already but it is not credited to my account yet, something wrong with your deposit system. Previously it was credited after 1 confirmation, but now it seems there is a delay on your system. Thanks

Edit: almost 2 hours and 18+ confirmations but still unable to see my deposit on my account. Live support does not really help as she can only say "wait for the financial department".

same here . already 6 confirmation , deposit not shown on balance .

Edit : already 32 confirmations .. online support cant do anything , just need to wait .

Mine is 85 confirmations now and its been 14 hours, just asked the live support again and the answer is still the same with the previous support. Email support also get the same answer without any ETA when it will be fixed. Very unfortunate, I made the deposit just after saw the last post by BTCspin here about the new game.
Live supports said it will be handled by financial department on working hours, does it mean that the last 14 hours was not their working hours?? I'll wait till 24 hours, hope to see an exact answer from them about what is the main problem about our delayed deposit.
Been reading up issues are almost the same which its very unfortunate and this is just a new gambling site and now experiencing poor support features. This must really have a problem towards their deposit system since I have seen there are already lots of confirmation on such transaction or deposit which means it should be credited into the account.Account of btc spin is online last March 7 which is already 2 days. For now we should wait for their word/response toward this issue. This is indeed a very delay and poor experience on this new site.
7834  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 08, 2018, 10:12:48 PM
I know signature campagns exists on this forum for very log time . I was wondering , do they really help to promote ICO , i know they spend a lot of money to pay bitcointalk members to wear their singatures and make posts . Do they really make profit out of this ?
IF we do try to see how many ICO's now are offering signature campaigns then we will able to say that this is really helpful and it does really contribute for a certain project to achieve its success. Its one way of the most popular when it comes on promoting and ICO since we know that this forum do have the best crypto traffic which means potential investors are circling into this forum. If they aren't effective then they might gone for long time and cant see any signature on here.
7835  Economy / Economics / Re: Before I Die... on: March 08, 2018, 09:38:09 PM
Every user has got hidden dreams to be attained, and bitcoin helps them attain the same to some extent. More or less I'm satisfied with what I have and I wish to achieve one thing before I die is marry my girl which will make my life more enjoyable and fun filled.
Hopefully you will. For me,there are still lot of things i want to achieved before i die.I want to build my parents their dream house after i had built mine.Give them all the luxurious things in life.Give help to all my loved ones who are still needy.Have some family trips outside my country. And lastly, give some financial assistance to a certain church and give some charity works to all street children.I wish all these things will come into realization before i'll gone.
Every person do have its own contentment on his life in towards with his goal or achievements that he strive once he succeed or reached it then hes already ready to die and talking about my goals we do have the same targets in my own life which I do really work hard for giving out my loved ones to have a secure and convenient life even if I'm gone. This will really put myself in peace and thinking off that they wont struggle even you are not already in their side.
7836  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit Cycling on: March 08, 2018, 09:06:36 PM
So I was interested in how to obtain merit and so I looked at a few profiles of members with a large amount of merits (250+) and saw that a few seemed to be sending merits backwards and forwards to each other repeatedly. I’m assuming they were either to friends or his alts but surely this is against BCT rules and should be cracked down upon?
We can make presumption that those acts are shady ones but we cant really conclude yet since we don't have an evidence that they are alts or do belong into one person which means its still valid to have those exchange because there are really some scenarios that community members do really give out merits to those person who do give them merits too.Just like a exchange of gratitude and I know you do feel the same way. Therefore,we cant really accuse someone if we don't have strong evidence among the connection of the two.
7837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Men only. Are you daring enough to have a boob job to complete a bet? on: March 08, 2018, 08:37:15 PM
So, during my browsing of the internet and I've again fell down the rabbit hole into the weird parts of the internet, I stumbled upon an article about a gambler who had breast implants to complete a bet. He walked away with $100,000 in 1996, which was a lot of money back then and even today. The bet parameters involve that he get breast implants and leave it for one year, however the guy fell in love with it and only had it removed after 20 years (in 2016).

If you were the guy, would you have done it?

Do you have any other crazy bets with your friends? Please share.

Link to article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3595290/These-100-000-boobs-Compulsive-male-gambler-got-BREAST-IMPLANTS-win-bet-friend-finally-asks-38C-cups-removed-20-YEARS.html

Aside from entertainment purposes and jackass activity, we can't hide the fact that there are persons who willing to do that even that is against their will. It's depend on their current life situation as there's a thing called "gripping on knife" means their survival relies on whatever opportunities they will see encountered whether it's good or not.

As for me, I will not do that just for $100,000. Im fine with my current status of earnings. Honestly, I can earned that money with my crypto activities so definitely no way. Smiley
As you said this is depending on financial status in our lives which decision will be affected if you are already on the actual situation. If someone offers or make do bets on real then you are on need of money then high chance that you will do such thing even though you doubt or not sure on what you gonna do.Just like you I wont do such thing since my earnings is already enough and I cant face people when I do have a boob specially when I'm a man.
7838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any alternatives to Etherdelta? on: March 07, 2018, 11:26:45 PM
After the inhibition of Etherdelta, the forkdelta works much faster, order for the purchase was put in a few seconds, while on Etherdelta it would have to wait 3-5 minutes
When it comes to transaction confirmation it do totally depends on how much gas you have putted on,it isn't really a main difference towards into those sites. IDEX is good but when ForkDelta comes out then I do say its much better than Etherdelta. Fast loading of UI is one of the reason on where Fork is on edge with Delta. For sure lots of traders do feel this difference.
7839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Will Be Destroyed By Itself on: March 07, 2018, 10:50:45 PM
I want to share my thought Why BTC Will Be Destroyed By Itself:
Every day Lot of people ( all of the Worlds) mining BTC it mean every day/Week/Year More BTC will be Injected to the Netwrok and it mean BTC abundance  Will be increased and than Price will go lower and lower until 1$ probably.
Example:
Gold, silver and platinum are rare, thats why they are Expensive, BUT If Gold abundance was the same as Iron than Gold never was Expensive
I guess you would still need to read up about more in bitcoin particularly on its total supply and the coins being generated on daily basis and how long or when all of those coins would be mined. It would take up year 2100+ before the last bitcoin would be mined.I must say this is just really small supply considering on the current demand of bitcoin. We are still on 16M coins circulating and the demand is high.If you do base on how big the community is you will really say that the supply is really lacking and that's how the value corresponds to.
7840  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Reguated cryptoexchanges on: March 07, 2018, 10:27:27 PM
Cryptosphere is not well regulated yet. Do you know any cryptoexchanges which works under any legislation?
Or at least are there any steps towards this regulation?

There are Japanese exchanges in the market that are licensed and regulated under the regulating authority of Japan. But I am not sure about any other exchanges which are actively regulated by any government regulatory authority. Majority of the exchanges are registered but that certainly doesn't mean regulated.

However, recently SEC has floated out a circular which says every Cryptocurrency exchanges must be registered and regulated as per their regulatory norms if they want to conduct business from their country. Check the link below,

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/07/bitcoin-just-tanked-below-10000-after-sec-says-crypto-exchanges-must-register-with-agency.html

So probably we will see more regulated crypto exchanges in future once this circular comes into force.
This is somehow anticipated and expected to happen soon on where we do see exchangers is already regulated once decision is being rolled out and being considered to be implemented.I cant even point out if those existing exchangers are regulated or not but for sure they are really registered because this is a business and even on traditional ones you would need to comply documentations for such operation. The level of restriction might be different though.
