7901  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Angola BTC Miner Comunity on: February 20, 2018, 10:16:14 PM
Hi,
Im doing BTC mining via WinMiner, am i alone in a Big Country of there are others? If yes, introduce yourself here to share knowledge, i also speak portuguese native. Im motivated already gained 10,00 USD em 4 days and now trying to expand my mining RIG, its a big battle because its very hard to get computer components. Any help would be appreciated.  Also planning to do mining using HD via Burst Mining Green Power.
I wasnt aware that Burst HD mining is still existing or im not really just updated into this thing. HD supply is somehow better than on GPU ones i do believe and yet you are seeking out investors or co-miners into your local its better to post out on local boards which are correlated to your place and might able to find out co-miners. Good luck brother.

7903  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: February 20, 2018, 09:30:21 PM
1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
I don't agree on this, millionaires are hardworking even they are on bed they keep on thinking about ideas on how they will grow their businesses and investment. They might be greedy but they are working on it with their full potential and effort.

4 - Debt is always bad.
It will pull you down so better to stay away from asking people to borrow money. I can't give any other points for the remaining ones but we are living in a world that is unfair so in able for someone to get rich and live prosperously, you need to deal with challenges and risks.
As i oppose in the same thing too about millionaires are greedy which we cant really generalize such stuff because some of them wont really reach that state if they didnt make a hardwork. We might see do achieve this on a fast way but some them goes it gradually which isnt right to generalize that they are all greedy. All people do have that greed feeling when it comes to money but the success that they had reach is really worth it for the hard work that they have done.
7904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I want to start a charity activity using cryptocurrencies on: February 20, 2018, 09:07:53 PM
Ok guys, I see there are various opinions and even suspects of scam, some of them from scammers themselves. Just to clarify:

1) We will not hold ICO for these aims!

2) We will not encourage anybody to sacrifice their money or something else!

3) We will not promise to do a lot, more than we can!

4) We have already hold charity actions in our city

5) We will provide photo-reports for the next actions

6) After the next charity action ends we will post some photos.

7) After helding some actions by ourselves and posting photo reports with comments on another platform, with just links here, we will post our wallet addresses, and the next actions is up to you.

We already have sponsors willing to help us for various reasons, including own PR actions in social media. We are working with them too. We are not charity organization, I'm working in office doing routine work too. We are just group of volunteers. And just with acknowledge of blockchain possibilities in anonymous transactions, and willing of some person to stay anonymous, we decided to try this platform too.

Charity is a voluntary action, less to talk, more to do. And by the way, my religion doesn't allow me to cheat people in need. Someone can believe me, someone can not, it is up to you too.
You can say up with these words but it wont really change the fact or views into potential donors on such aims specially on charitable works or motives.I might either doubt that you wont really get even one if you are just saying up verbal things. Why not post your recent activity towards this thing? If you are volunteer then its not bad to show off some visuals to look more convincing for us.
7905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: February 20, 2018, 08:44:53 PM
I haven't had that experience before in my life but i have seen others being ejected from the casino when they become troublesome and loud. The casinos have an open mind and almost everyone is allowed to entry.
Yeah , casinos here are welcoming to anyone who desires to gamble , flip flops or not . The only thing is that they recently banned vaping and using any kind of electric cigarettes that made the club cloudy from the inside especially that it's not that much of an aired place .
This has made a lot of people angry especially the locals that were so fund of their little cloud-making devices and said that it was cleaner than the smoke coming from any other source .
I once also experienced a guy being ejected from the club for bringing his golden fish , yeah the place is quite boring ..
Decision been made just was right i suppose yet vaping would really make the place cloudy and as a player it would be quiet irritating on my side.I dont know for others but it isnt really good for me which i do say such implementation was just right. For now theres still no people who do vape on any casinos on my place i dont know if they do have the rules or not but i do like to play on a clear ambiance and as of now i havent experienced on being stopped, removed into any casinos.
7906  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BitGo.com - full control over your Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2018, 03:44:58 PM
What other companies really come in comparison to BitGo as I really wouldn't want to put Blockchain.info in the same league as it really isn't.
Bitgo doesn't give full control because you will not have private key.
Blockchain.info allows you to have full control and wallets are client side encrypted.

Bitgo charge high fees in % basis but blockchain.info charge normal bitcoin fees and all of that fees go towards transaction fee not to owner's pocket.  Grin

Bitgo looks more like centralized bitcoin wallet justlike coinbase but their idea of instant confirmation sound interesting.
Even on that 0.1% fee is already too much specially when we do make big amount transfers and i dont like for those fees to go on owners pocket.  Cool. Having no possesion on your private keys do always accompanied with the risk for you on not having the possibility of recovery once the service shuts down unlike on other wallet that keys will really be the important thing that must have. Id rather choose coinbase with no doubt than on bitgo.
Coinbase actually used to (I am not sure if they still do or not) offer "vault" services in which you would send your bitcoin to a multisig address and coinbase would only sign transactions out of that address under a certain set of circumstances. It was a 2-of-3 multisig, and the customer would have two of the keys in case coinbase ever shut down.
I think they do still have that kind of feature.Im using coinbase in web browser and the same time on their mobile app too which they do really have that vault service but im not aware on that kind of service which do capable on having a multisig addresses. Thanks for telling out and I might try it soon once i logged in to that wallet and would find out if it does still function or not.
7907  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitgrail - treating their users like shit on: February 19, 2018, 10:59:59 PM
Hah thats funny, I for some stupid reason thought Bitgrail would be responsible for the money I put there.
There goes 90% of my crypto money. =/
and yep the million useless typical responses of you should of.  Thanks in advance, no need to post em.

NEVER keep your "investment" coins on an exchange. Only keep what you trade. I also used Bitgrail for buying XRB because it was the only properly-functioning exchange supporting XRB at that moment. But I immediately transferred the coins to my wallet because I wasn't planning to sell them soon.

I have seen people getting burned in MtGox, Cryptsy, Mintpal & now Bitgrail; and I never trust any centralized exchange with the coins I can't afford to lose.
This the common mistake among people where they are too confident on storing up huge coins on an exchange without even thinking the possibilities of being compromised or lost all of those tokens.Same into your behavior i dont usually store huge amounts on exchanges which if do already bought tokens i immediately transfer it to my wallet and with that it do put my mind on peace.

7909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Peculium on HitBTC at the end of January on: February 19, 2018, 09:38:38 PM
So I've just received an email from Peculium that PCL will be available on HitBTC sometime at the end of january. I'm holding some PCL and was interested in what do some more alt-coin experienced users think.

The price as of right now is 0.01e per coin and will probably be something like that once on the exchange. I'm interested in the thoughts about it, should I maybe hold it for a while longer and does it have a future as a, somewhat, stronger coin? Thanks for any input.
If you believed in the coin on the ICO, you should still believe in it now. It's usually more profitable to Hodl your coins for a longer term than flipping them.
This do happen into my case now where i do remember on having lots of PCL yet i do make investments since it was just starting.I have forgotten and i was surprised on its actual value today, might not be as high as others but yet im still on profits.

We are excited that PCL is now listed on HitBtc..Do not forget to update the tokens before sending the PCL to HITBTC.
They do have tutorials on how to update contract of PCL for you to be able to transfer/update those tokens. Gladly i have invested to this project wayback before.I didnt expect that it do still progress.
7910  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need price crashes and panic selloffs on: February 19, 2018, 09:05:11 PM
This is just a thought that occurred to me while reading some posts around here, feel free to discuss it or even criticize it. So if we want Bitcoin to rise in the future, we need it to crash first and many wannabe traders to sell off their coins at a loss when the price is low. If people don't close their positions in panic now and just wait out bad times, they simply won't let prices grow later because they will get out whenever the price rises just enough for them. But if they fix their losses, they will no longer have bitcoins to record minor profits and thus drag the price down in the future. As a consequence, the price can surge higher without a lot of selling pressure at bigger figures when the hype and buying frenzy begins anew.

The bottom line is that it is kinda required for Bitcoin to crash occasionally for the prices to rise higher eventually.

Crash is over used as a word, pullback in bitcoin is normal even if its 50%.  Actually we declined at not a great pace, normally a big crash is like a day event where prices suddenly reverse beyond the control of anyone and faster then even the news can describe.

We didnt really crash, it declined over more then a month.    Thats pretty steady by crypto standards I reckon.   But sure I agree generally, its more harmful if we dont pull back to confirm previous prices.

Distribution raises and expands involvement is how I've read it described.
I agree on this one which it cant really be considered as a crash yet we are still seeing some huge percentage price decrease but you cant blame people on calling it as a "price crash" since they do always expect price would really be high in bitcoin and into any other altcoins in the market and we should be grateful on seeing price corrections because this do truly indications that we do have a healthy market rather than seeing a stable appreciating price which isnt really normal at all.
7911  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVerts - Dice Game on: February 19, 2018, 08:21:27 PM
Hello,

The dice is situated here: http://bitverts.io/dice_game

The jackpot pools take 4% out of the total losses. That means the house edge in the end is 1%

Regards
You should update the OP regarding on house edge since its being mention there that it has 5% which you are actually pertaining to in-all loss accumulation for the jackpot which isnt really a bad idea. 1% house edge is good and i would like to ask if we can able to have a look into each rolls seed? and just like been said the site design is way too generic which it cant really attract players for sure.
7912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LTCMiner.io is a scam <<< BEWARE on: February 16, 2018, 06:30:42 AM
I saw ltcminer.io promoted by someone in a comment to a zerohedge post, and I decided to give it a try.

After spending about $60 worth of LTC, I was able to prove that it's a scam. Their website looks very professional, however, they lure you in to buy the next package above the one they promote as free, they pay if you withdraw small amounts below what you put in, and then all subsequent withdrawals stay as PENDING.

STAY AWAY from ltcminer.io!
That is typically a lame strategy but sadly you lost $60 for their shit and thanks to you everyone would know how greedy those bastards. Their website should be block and someone should pull it down immediately before it scams another person. I just can't imagine that what if hundreds or thousands would put their money on that, those bastards are gonna get rich real quick.

Yes, very lame, not being patient got the best of me. Not to be repeated again.
Not only patience would vary here but also knowledge and researching habits would really require for you not to commit such mistake. Most people do only learn up when they are already being victimized its much more better if we do avoid at first and dont wait for you to lose money this is why research is always needed.

those miners web are all scam, none of them are real. The real mining you have to do by yourself, your own hardware and your own place. better avoid them.
There are still some legit but not yet guaranteed profits when it comes to cloud mining sites but most of them are just total scams and its really much better to build your own than on entrusting to those companies.
7913  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcointalk Account price calculator on: February 15, 2018, 01:24:19 PM
Is this normal? Loading/Calculating time is very long I'm waiting for almost 10 mins it doesn't appear any single information. I do have fast internet and I'm using chrome browser.

Same situation do also happening on me where loading time took so long even the UI is just lite.

How much time does it take to get the estimated price information? I waited 5 minutes but can not get the price info. Probably, your site bot get caught by bitcointalk ddos prevention service.
We dont know if hashflare service do have really the involvement on here regarding on getting accounts information in the site. Crawling might still possible since information posted are accurate but im not really sure on the price of each account.

7915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto is the future,no need to panic on: February 13, 2018, 10:16:42 PM
Real investors never panic, they know the cards very well, especially about Bitcoin. Except for the amateurs who wanted to ride the boat for some quick money, everybody knows the future will be crypto economy and they won't panic.
Most of them doesn't really know how the cryptoworld in the market works that's why they have to follow what the veterans did and it is commonly used in the world of business. Copying what others did but they do not know that every businesses there's a secret recipe to it that makes them unique to others. This unique recipe starts within yourself and that's what makes you stand to the others. If you are a real investors and have enough experience you will gain that unique recipe within yourself, it is just a matter of time.
7916  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal in India? on: February 13, 2018, 08:55:16 PM
In the view of Indian Governtment Bitcoin is Legal. Means if we trade Bitcoin from India is there any legal issues?

Right suggestion only.
Yes bitcoin is still legal in India, but there is a serious discussion going on Indian government for regulating the bitcoins because Indian government realized that many people from India are earning huge money through crypto currency but no one is paying taxes for that income.Recently a central minister address about this issue in parliament.Since that there are lots of rumors created that India banned bitcoins but not yet maybe soon we have the official announcement from the Indian government.

The Indian Government has not taken any decision regarding the legality of bitcoins so it is wrong to say that bitcoin is legal in india. Government has constituted a committee to study the possible tax frame and whether the bitcoin should be regulated or not ? At the moment, you can trade into the bitcoins but government authorities may ask you to pay the tax on the income generated through trading of bitcoins.
It does only mean that they don't encourage people of investing in Bitcoin because scams are so mainstream in their city that's why the government have taken some actions to inform their people that not to invest to some 'too good to be true' aka ponzi scheme. It is widely reported lately as what i have read from the news but they didn't really ban Bitcoin at all they just pose a warning to everyone on their country.
7917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptos to go to Zero on: February 13, 2018, 08:07:15 PM
Just FYI crypto-currency is not the global currency of the future so I partially agree with this post.
Nevertheless I still like Bitcoin et al. But McAfee's manparts are in serious trouble.
What I cannot agree with is that the intrinsic value is zero. The ability to instantly send money digitally at the push of a button in an electronic era has the potential to make a serious dent in the financial industry with several trillions at stake. But only the righteous will thrive.
Maybe yes or maybe no, no one knows but most the coins that will go down to zero are the one that was already bring dumped by everyone. Bitcoin was made to change what was the banks and governments doing in our fiat currency. So it could be very difficult to justify if cryptocurrency will gonna perish without a fight. Most developers are working hard to develop the best crypto in history and on the coming future.
7918  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 13, 2018, 07:46:08 PM
Yes indeed. Positive thoughts really bring positive things. Our thoughts really affect of what we want to achieve on our own life. When the mind is positive and calm then we can think clearly and take a good step, a quiet mind is needed by a trader and thats what we need to have a great success!

It really brings a positive effect when you are around with those positive people in your life that no one really doubts about of your ability to manage things according to your own thinking. Everyone should be something like that or they should change how their mindset react while everyone that surrounds him that full of negativity. We should stay away to those people who thinks negative if you can't change their mindset then you should leave them where they wanted to be, it's not worth of your time.
7919  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining - my experience on: February 13, 2018, 03:18:23 PM
Anyone in the same boat ? I decided to go with Genesis Mining last year mid August. 30 TH. Up until now I haven't reached the break even point. And my payouts dropped dramatically after diffculty increased a lot this year. I estimate that it will take at least 1-2 more month till I reach the break even. But I just asked myself how much btc I will get out of this contract then till difficulty is so high that Genesis will cancel the contract. Any idea how to calculate this?
I think you did not compute the percentage ROI for their contract that is why you invest in this cloud mining, yes genesis is still legit but their contract is not recommended to invest because you money will sleep for long period of time in their contract while if you invest that in trading you can able to get much higher and faster income. Also the risk is very high because mostly in cloud mining they are getting to be scam for long period of existence.
Nowadays, it is so hard to trust to those cloud mining website because it's so mainstream and the people who manage those websites are scamming more people. Even if you calculated your ROI on them they will find a new way to really not get something from them. It's like you are paying for their services the longer you use it the more you will be paying and that's why you will not gonna get your ROI because of their contract that will tend to expire when the mining difficult raised.
7920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For Bounty begginers on: February 13, 2018, 12:38:51 PM
as a lot of begginers, i'm interest of participation in bounties! And want know more about it.
start joining on some bounties that accepts newbies Smiley along the way you can start participating in big campaign along the way
make sure to be disciplined to have decent amount of merits Smiley
i hope this helps
I don't think bounty manager do required some merit points to join to their campaign, most of them are really looking for at least Jr. Member account to be qualified to their bounty program. As long as you follow their rules you don't have a problem but you should at least know where to join a legitimate bounty campaign because some of the bounty programs are just a scam, be sure to read to the news or follow their telegram and ask everything if you really want to participate to their program.
