81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 25, 2022, 11:11:32 PM
Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.

That is why you should limit yourself exposing you public address unless necessarily. You are not alone and we have experienced it too, but if that is unavoidable, you should just disregard the tokens, don't bother looking at them or if you wanna change address, it is also possible right? The is the best option and start new. I hope there could be a way to dissolve these tokens. Like for example what binace has, you can convert small different amounts of tokens than are not tradable due to minimum requirements, it can be converted to bnb which is one of the features I like the most in this exchange.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: How Sweden Sends Just 1% of Its Trash to Landfills on: April 25, 2022, 09:15:14 PM
This should be followed by all of the countries, how dare us to live in a planet that gives us clean air and at the end destroy it ourselves. This is an eyeopener, polluted sea will leave us diminished. Everything in the ecosystem have it's contribution to the welfare of all, only humans messed up. Sooner or later if we don't take action and make a move, our planet will be destroyed, and it includes us and everything in it. Global warming is real, we should start within our selves, our family, our community. A small act of putting trash on its right place makes a difference. We wanna give the next generation to have a clean earth to live in don't we? Hat's off to Sweden and it's environment friendly and loving people.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: April 25, 2022, 11:15:21 AM
Almost every week there are one or two new casinos launching here, this section is already a big number of casinos there are good and bad new casinos here, these new casinos know that for them to stay in the game and be competitive they have offer new things and bonuses and giveaways.

Are you still supporting new casinos even if you're already playing in so many casinos do you still have room for new casino to deposit and play?

There are certain perks of playing in new casinos, aside from being a pioneering player and first adopters, you are also given some bonuses. Especially when the new casino sites gives you better experiences than existing ones, it makes you to stick on playing and forget others. More innovative casinos are the likes, and also new game ideas that are put into action. Only the problem is it isn't refutable yet, it is still making it's name and image, so there are risk too.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Bill passed requiring drunk drivers to pay child support if they kill parents on: April 24, 2022, 11:21:49 PM
Quote
The bill is named after the daughters of a police officer killed in a DUI hit-and-run

The Tennessee legislature passed a bill Wednesday that would require drunk drivers to pay child support if they kill a parent and are convicted of vehicular homicide due to intoxication.

The legislation passed through the Tennessee Senate on Wednesday following an amendment to rename the bill after the two daughters of state police officer Nicholas Galinger, who was killed in a hit-and-run by a drunk driver in 2019, according to CBS 46.

The legislation, which has yet to be signed into law, requires DUI drivers convicted of either vehicular homicide or aggravated vehicular homicide due to intoxication to pay child support if a parent killed in a crash has any minor children. The payments would continue until each child reaches 18 years old and graduates from high school.

Galinger's killer, Janet Hind, drove into him from behind while he was investigating a manhole cover overflowing with water. Hind was intoxicated at the time and was sentenced to 11 years in prison in February.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/tennessee-drunk-driver-child-support-parent-death

....

They're proposing a law where drunk drivers who accidentally run into & kill parents, pay child support to their surviving children until they reach the age of 18 and legally become adults. My first thought is, I don't know if drunk drivers have cash to afford this. Most drunk drivers are young adults likely to have large amounts of student loan debt and entry level income.

It is an interesting idea and novel concept. I'm not certain what the normal process is for children whose parents are unfortunately hit by drunk drivers. I guess they would end up in an orphanage?  Another interesting movement is cars and trucks having breathalyzers installed on them. So that the engine can't be started unless a person breathes into the breathalyzer and has an alcohol statistic below the legal limit.

We have many reactionary penalties and punishments for law breakers. Could a preventionary measure where good behavior is rewarded also have a niche place in society? What if a crypto currency was created which rewarded users for every week they remained sober? In an effort to diminish alcohol and substance abuse. If there are shitcoin developers on this planet who play 5D chess with their crypto token designs, what would it look like?
This is an innovative preventative approach, good news to be heard so far. I personally agree with this, it will lessen drunk drivers on the streets and would do justice to the children and their loved ones. This way drivers will be wary, and knows the consequences when proven guilty of the crime.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: April 24, 2022, 09:51:49 PM
It often become a good opportunity when you sell at a peak and after that the correction come and you buy again with low price but many people miss that opportunity who then regret but I do not regret when I miss that opportunity because I do not do greed and remain satisfied with my current amount of coins and I know in the future the price will grow again to another ATH and my current coins are enough to give me enough profit. With this thought I keep myself tension free.

What is your views and conditions at that time?

It will give problems ahead of time when you regret everything in your life's decision. If the time have already passed, let it go and move on. Have some.composure and look forward what's next to come. I believe learning from them is the best way to do. The feelings of regret is destroying and we will not be able to concentrate to the things we have to do. So accept and let's wait another moment for ATH, maybe the next one is the best for you that is why you have mised the former.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 24, 2022, 08:15:36 PM
today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

I have been using 2fa since the day my funds were stolen. If it weren't for this app, I would never be using exchange and other sites that requires pw with your valuable in it. So far after using this security measures, I have never been experiencing issues of of funds being lost, so I consider it to br safe.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 24, 2022, 05:42:34 PM
If you're constantly up on the news, I'm sure you're aware of the scientists stage worldwide climate change protests.

Over 1,000 scientists from 25 countries took part in the Scientist Rebellion's demonstrations over a week ago.

How does this affect on the market? Or doesn't at all? On the prices of bitcoin?

Maybe if people started to feel the consequences, after they realize that the world we are living in is hurting and the effects would cost us our health. They say that it we cannot bring back the damage that will be inflicted on us. The effects are irreversible and we only can avoid it now if we take heed to this call. The limit is not decades anymore, they say it is less than 2 years, and that is way too close. I guess this geopolitics and other causes of global warming is the roots, with it's evil leaders. Not only the price of Bitcoin will go down but the whole crypto market will fall if things gets worst.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4GB GPUs on ETH on: April 24, 2022, 03:56:22 PM
Those 4GB rx580s are still badass, if you have solar power or free electricity you can still mine Ravencoin, Conflux and Ergo, even Alephium, oh Flux is still there, these altcoins can be very big in future, I won't sell this graphic cards if I have them.

They are good cards but not the best. If you want to hold rhe coins for long term and electric bill is high, then we have to pay for it first and sell the coins later on. The problem is if the coin fails, and decided to shut down, those time your are paying the bills will be lost. I guess if you really wanna earn, we just have to buy the best cards available or mining equipment. Because it is better to buy the coins you wanna mine, saves you time and energy, just cleaning rigs is a mess.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate on XRP on: April 24, 2022, 02:48:17 PM
With all the negative thoughts about xrp by other people, I am using this coin on withdrawals. Whenever I wanted to cash out, I choose the fastest and cheapest, xrp is one and it is listed on the local wallet I am using. This coin have been a huge help for me escaping eth gas fees.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH stuck on pool on: April 24, 2022, 03:06:48 AM
I've not seen anything close to perfect like Viabtc and Flexpool, even if you have 1$ worth of ETH on ViabTC they will pay you on CoinEx account, Flexpool mining withdrawal is 0.001ETH, thats like 30$ and these pools are very profitable to mine on.

I never tried of mining on another pool, the pay out is awesome in those pool you have mentioned. Might try to mine there after I will reach mu pay out in nanopool. Thanks for this and I have found another alternative for lower withdraws of payout.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most rewarding referral system on: April 23, 2022, 09:19:08 PM
Hello Btalk gamblers! I have a question. Which casino, in your opinion, has the most rewarding referral system? I can bring new players thru my telegram channels and I don't want to get underpaid for this. Thank you!

Exchanges have better rates than casinos imo. I am getting constant payments from Binance and I've casually shared my link long time ago. It still makes me money. On the other hand my casino referrals stopped playing and I am getting nothing. I have 90% less referrals on Binance than I got on a casino and still making more money. Try the exchanges first.

I think that the reason he is asking for casino high referring rewards is that he' already done with exchange and expanding himself in another one. Or he ain't getting enough of what exchanges gives him. I never have tried to refer people to gamble using social media, and I am also curious of how far would it brings you. Been to referring friends to exchange and I ain't getting good response, maybe I am just in the wrong field and might try this too(gambling referral).
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Start selling your GPU now on: April 23, 2022, 06:54:11 PM
GPU prices are crumbling on aliexpress right now, it's good to see rx580 brand new at 300$ again last time it was 500$ as old as the card is, Polaris for that matter lol, I have a feeling that this BTC recovery of 44k could be the last, I also see many selling their GPUs already, they are smart to be honest I imply you all do the similar.. Later when things cool off you can start buying back, don't be the scape goat.

I've tried selling mine lately but no one seems to be interested. I think only people with no knowledge of mining would buy them high price. I won't sell them at low off course. I have bought them for 400 dollars each so I am aiming for 300 or a 250 maybe.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: How Capitalism defeated socialism? on: April 22, 2022, 08:34:21 PM
I am not a Socialists ...and I will probably never be one, but I can tell you one thing.... Capitalism is not perfect in any way. Take this example for instance... In some Capitalist countries you will find that the Mega farmers will start to buy out the smaller farms and they will totally dominate the whole agriculture scene or parts of it. (They will then use that power as leverage to manipulate food prices)

The gap between the Super Rich and the poor are widening and the Middle Class are being wiped out. Now you have the situation where millions of people are living in absolute poverty and a few individuals own most of the land and wealth of the country. How can this be better than a more equal distribution of wealth?

Yes I know Super Rich people are creating jobs and they pay most of the taxes, but monopolies and total domination of certain industries are bad for a country. (Price manipulation and no competition create opportunities for misuse and over pricing)  Roll Eyes

The roots of evil is in the government officials, if they don't do something about monopoly then it is a burden to the people of their country. Look what is happening back then in our country. My example is the internet Service Providers, there are only two and these companies makes it harder than ever merging together, limiting services. The leaders of the countries should be wise, like what the recent one did (president), he open an opportunity to other big Telcos to enter and invest in the country, and it did not stop there. The new Telcos could not be merge by other existing ones, it is a brilliant idea forcing these guys to compete for real. So if the government officials are somehow taking bribes from the evil ones, the mass will suffer and it could also lead to the country's fall.

Capitalism isn't perfect but it gives you freedom, it depends on the people, their evil desires puts them in that(being greedy) situation. I'd rather be in a capitalist side than in a socialism one, just look at how their country runs, and see if want to live in there with equality they are telling you about. There are bad sides on both, and there are good ones too, in the end it relies on the people who holds the power to decide for the best. If there is goodness in ones rulers heart, his subjects should be living in harmony, see how countries with good leaders do. They are somehow in one body, if one parts hurts the others feel it too, we just need to be good humans that is all.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Basketball] Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA CHAMPION campaign discussion on: April 22, 2022, 08:09:50 PM
The Current odds is only 4.40, I'm happy to take almost x2 of the current odds.

So this thread is all about the Golden State Warriors' campaign for the championship this season. I have a strong feeling that they will win again with Curry, Thompson, Green, and a new star Jordan Poole.

Share your thoughts about their chances and let's make meaningful discussions here.

I strongly believe that this time they will get the championship, with their new star Jordan and the remaining team mates with Curry. I am a fan of Golden states and will always be. Not only that their draft is good but their record says it all, they are the best in defense and net rating so far, and 2nd on offense too, so I am confident they could really do it.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is truly missing in the Bitcoin ecosystem to get this to the masses on: April 22, 2022, 01:05:32 PM
So I am sure this has been discussed multiple times before, however as I enter into the rabbit hole of Bitcoin, I am interested what others see as lacking in terms of how to get this to the masses. I run a node and LN Channels, however not being a developer, I wonder what other roles are out there. Would like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

I think the most important thing to do is how to mine Bitcoin and other coins without burning so much fossil fuels. Climate change is real, if there are no solutions to this then lets just be ready to be annihilated by it's after effect. The earth is getting warmer and few years from now on we will be able to experience more problems in our ecosystem. Adoption of bitcoin is good but, we won't be able to use those coins if there is no earth to live in.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: What should be a good ROI for a startup? on: April 21, 2022, 09:40:04 PM
Entrepreneurs struggle with their ROI on businesses. Starting a business is not a difficult task but sustaining it becomes challenging. I've seen a numerous companies go bankrupt after good years of sales. Knowing the reason behind is lack of future projections.

According to you, what should be the ROI for newly launched startups?

My views are around 15% per annum but it would take around 6.6 years to earn the initial amount back. Would it be a bad decision?

Unless you add those incomes back to your capital and lessen that 6.6 years of yours. This is our story, we are nearing our 2nd year of our small business since it started running way back  June, 2020. I have seen a lot of changes in just a year. That small amount of money had become to the point that we've manage to get a decent car, house and lot, and paid bills not exceeding a thousand dollars a month. We have manage to rake 20 to 40 percent income per month, it depends on the business you have.

We started on an 800 dollar worth of products, and now it is worth around 40k USD all in all. All we did was put all the profits back to capital and bought more products to sell, and we did not stop until this day, we are going to continue and hopefully it gets better. By the way the products that we sell at first was, disposable mask since it was so hype back when COVID was just starting. We've moved to beauty products now since most people here stayed at home. Later on we've also entered the food and clothing sector, which is imported from different countries. I have realized that all consumables are easy to sell unlike clothes and other things that are not essential goods. People needs food, hygiene and clothing, and this was our target from the start so I guess it is all good for now. At first it was just meant to make ends meet, but then we've become busy these days and never thought of gaining more than we have ever wanted.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 21, 2022, 08:06:56 PM
I have most of mine on an exchange because I'm getting paid interest. Has there ever been a time when an exchange like Binance for example, steals your funds or gets hacked and people lost money?

Who knows? If the amount is worth stealing they could that to anybody. Hackers are everywhere and if they see you are a vulnerable target having so much coins, then you should be taking care of those and leave it safe where no one can reach it except you. I know you are making money out of that interest but make sure you are aware those are not 100% secure.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 21, 2022, 07:09:34 PM
I don't really think that e-sports games(like CS:GO) can be considered gambling games.
Games with paid in-game items aren't gambling, because the players don't play with the expectation of winning anything or making profits. They are buying expensive in-game items,in order to win the game and have some fun,not to make money.Perhaps such games will begin shifting to a more gambling oriented business model.
Anyway, this is good news.More free-to-play game is good news for the average gamer, who is most likely a financially broke teenager, using his mom's credit card to buy in-game items on such games. Grin

If I am not mistaken, I once played an event in Dota 2 wherein you and your opponent's team would pick items in your inventory. It is a gamble already and it was exciting, whoever wins takes the items, and as far as I know those items way back are already unique in this moment and have some real money value in it. They have already done it so it is nothing new to old players. Aside from that, there are 3rd party sites that continued that on, wherein you can gamble your in game items, winners of a major league, or even in the TI. I am player of Dota 2 after all.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 21, 2022, 02:52:32 PM
This is the reason why many already quit hunting for airdrops, even if you get paid the token will be worthless, be expecting anything from 1$ to 5$ per airdrops, I can give you link to genuine airdrop platforms but be warned, the payouts will be very small.

1. Airdropbob.com
2. Airdrops.io
3. Airdroprating.io

It will be another burden for OP. He is looking for airdrops with higher yields. Sad truth is there isn't, the good old days are over, most airdrops now requires you to send fees for you to receive the tokens, or do some jobs and even require you to submit KYC which is not recommended.
100  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: April 21, 2022, 01:28:59 PM
Hello guys, I'm new here  Grin

I will launch my first casino in a few months and I was curious how do you advertise it? How much bankroll you had when you opened your first casino? Have you learned from your mistakes and if yes, what mistakes cost you a lot of money?

I appreciate every answer and thank you!

Through campaigns such as signature. This is the primary way to advertise your casino in bitcointalk, there are trusted users here that can manage it for you. Another is if you have the funds you can use celebrities, there some that link to gambling already.
