1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 14, 2019, 05:45:10 AM
I am a proud countrymen of Manny Pacquiao, even though how many times he will have such a Challenger with young boxer and more in line, I will never give up on him being my favorite sports person. For fighters that wanna be challenging a multiple world champion holder, I am amazed. I think they really have the courage to go against Manny, I salute those boys and hopefully they will going home safely.
1082  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BTC challenge on: May 13, 2019, 10:43:50 PM
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone learn from Warren Buffett? on: May 13, 2019, 07:51:02 PM
I wonder why a lot of people like to quote the article wrote by/ speech by Warren Buffett. And most of them regard him the king of value investor. Also all the school praise how good he is, and all of us should follow his philosophy. I didn't make a lot of money following his books, and most of the time I found his books contradicting with each other, to be honest I loss a lot of money following his value investing, but once I get into bitcoin, I'm quickly to make a lot of money, and knowing that Warren Buffett do not like bitcoin from bottom of his heart, I don't know why, I think learning from Warren Buffett is a big mistake, and I regret reading his books altogether. And in contrast, I know none of the quote made by Satoshi, because I don't even know what it is behind the white paper, I can barely read them.

It is so obvious how he is making money out of you people? Buy his books, I bet he is making more money out of the people who are desperate to be a successful investor or businessman. Not everyone is a fan of someone because of just some reviews of prestige universities. Remember, there are people who are making money because of reviews, the famous the reviewer the better, so not all reviews are totally accurate and true.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the perfect cryptocurrency in your opinion? on: May 13, 2019, 03:35:46 PM
If you didn't need to worry about the technical junk behind the scenes that makes it work.. what would be the features of the perfect cryptocurrency?

The perfect cryptocurrency for is that it is acknowledge by the whole governments of the world and the people. As of now it is still a dream, but I hope one day that could happen, I know it is far from reality, how would could that be possible anyway. No banks and middleman? just pure p2p cashless payment, with low transaction fees? Maybe in the future when we are all histories by then.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 13, 2019, 12:39:46 PM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

Good thing I had never bet such high amounts, I could hardly earn 500 dollars a month. I do know how is it like to lose, with all the money in my pocket full when I enter gambling and when I got out I am broke, that hurts and still I never learned a damned thing about surrendering and chase to get back what I have lose. Good for you you have stopped such terrible habit. I remember my brother when he sold of his valuables in order to get back on his feet, but the sad thing is he still lose. Now he quit gambling and he is going to work abroad and I am happy for him. Anyone can change their lifestyle hope mine comes next.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fundraising scam ,the way I see new projects on: May 13, 2019, 11:04:58 AM
Project developers are in no risk at all ,the investors are the ones in total risk ,devs only have to tender a working project and ask people for funds ,who says ICO and IEO is not a favoured business? That's why we have many not working projects, fake ,scam and pump and dump projects in crypto space..I have make up my mind never to invest in fund raising projects anymore ,I can name 100s of coins with no ICO and No Premine that are doing very fine in this market condition ,they are just here for the fund raising

Not only new, even old ones, until now those project developers are nowhere to be seen and found, they are the real bubble, gone in an instant with all the money of the investors. I have a token worth 1k USD plus last year and now it is just a penny's worth. The only way to get back some of the lose for now is to buy directly BTC or ETH.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Next Bitcoin Bull Run Started? on: May 13, 2019, 05:50:50 AM
Bitcoin is now trading above $7200 and continue to rise from the last two months. Bitcoin is now trading above 50 and 100 weekly MA which is known as a bullish sign. The golden cross has already happened (daily 50 MA crosses 200 MA).

Bitcoin has 14 green weekly candles in the last 17 weeks.

Even after the Tether, Bitfinex fud and Binance hack the price continue to rise.

Is the Bitcoin bull run started?

What are the main leading factors of this bull run?

This is something like a wake up call. Bull Run? If people knew that already they would have put their money all by now but it isn't. The big players are back, professional traders. This is a minor comeback, we are too far from where we had left. We can't know for sure unless we overcome that last ATH, that is where it should be if the bull market will start.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto suffer from inflation? on: May 12, 2019, 08:02:05 PM
I guess not, it rather helps even a little. As you know if new tokens are born especially legit ones, there are tons of fiat money getting in to it. More people are drag into cytpo market and there just adds up money. If they manage to sell or trade the new token with BTC or when available, it will again add to Bitcoins market capitalization, people do that when they that only Bitcoin is what they really need to hold. More new projects comes new money with some new investors too, it is a win win situation.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi / Pyramid Scheme / Bubble on: May 12, 2019, 03:39:27 PM
Yet if it still believed to be a bubble then how come those gentlemen in suits continuously support and mingle with this big bubble that they are saying? Is it just the mere reason was it gives them money, or is it they want something new, and to really change how the financial market is at the moment. I believe in BTC and blockchain, who cares about the folks saying it is bubble, let them be.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 12, 2019, 12:52:37 PM
most of them aren't really at fault. they are just poor newcomers who entered a big market and were suddenly bombarded by a huge wave of advertisement which were promising them riches beyond their wildest dreams so they ended up buying a ton of useless tokens which have been continuously losing value

But thanks to those advertisements and other promotions they are able to know slightly what Bitcoin is, how the market works, and gain experiences in crypto currencies for them to fit in the long run throughout the years. Really if it weren't for those things that urge them to by other alts, the last bull couldn't make it to BTC's last ATH, at the last moment they managed to sell their tokens or either exchange it for Bitcoin resulting in them studying in order for them to have a sturdy comeback.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 12, 2019, 07:35:50 AM

1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.

What if the site is an ad proposed site? I am clicking ad sites most of  the time as I am watching movies, anime, and other video clips. It directly bring you to the site whenever you click the play button? I am not aware of this and just leave it alone and continue on the process. Sometimes we just forget to put our security first, I mean it and it is my bad, the good thing is I still haven't been phished with my current activities so I am good for now.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 11, 2019, 09:59:56 PM
It's hard not to trade on emotions but you have to remember this is a game and we have to always look forward, don't look backwards once a trade is executed. Little profit is not a bad word my friends, be contented of a the small amounts you gained. It is better  safe +10% than a wannabe +100% of no assurance, people are just greedy sometimes but can't blame them, we are human after all.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Satoshi someone who lost everything in 2008 Market Crash? on: May 11, 2019, 07:32:03 PM
Just came across this thought. We all know what happened after the housing debt bubble burst near 2008 which led to a global level depression in 2008 which really ruined lives of millions of people worldwide. It even raised some great question about fiat debt and it's working. Lots of people lost their jobs, houses and everything.

Another fact that Bitcoin was created right after one year in 2009. So do you think there is some chance that satoshi was someone who lost his everything in 2008 crash, his job, his assets and his house.

He was so frustrated with it that his trust on the fiat financial system completely broke. He was sick of government, sick of corporate and sick of banks because of which he thought of creating real money thus creating bitcoin over blockchain and completing it in the very next year. So that people don't lose their money just because of debt bubble

We don't for sure, but it is possible for that to happen. The thing that makes it harder to be true is that the span of time is very short, only 1 year to complete Bitcoin is far beyond unbelievable. But who knows? The very truth that he created can also be assumed that it could happen with just a year. If that is the case then he is really a genius that was born in our generations like Einstein, Tesla etc.
1094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which unique factor makes crypto exchange a reliable choice to start trading? on: May 11, 2019, 03:42:02 PM
Some exchanges are almost the same and it is hardly to specify what is unique between them. So I basically trade with exchanges that are rated by most users. They are most likely experience than us so it is better to take their advise and ratings between the exchanges. But if  I were to choose the factor that considers me trading on an exchange is that their customer support. If the team is very reliable in trouble shooting assistance then they would be and edge for me to rate them a good exchange.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think will outperform btc in the upcoming crypto summer? on: May 10, 2019, 12:17:40 PM
Please justify your recommendations so that others may taken an educated decision.

Most probably none. Since the beginning of the creations of altcoins up until now there is none that ever outperform Bitcoin in terms of Market capitalization. Yes that is all that matters, more money is put in Bitcoin than any other summed up alts out there. Even though there are better alts at transaction speed, low transaction gas, name it, still Bitcoin is primarily used in the whole world of crypto currencies.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From when you are involved with bitcoin? Had u wondered why you not meet before? on: May 10, 2019, 10:02:36 AM
I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  Grin. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.

Even though it is hard to understand most of what you are trying to say I feel you bruh. We all make mistakes, and those mistakes teach us lessons for us to be better once again. Now if you did not encounter such mistakes you wouldn't be here at all, it is destined and you should be grateful that you and I are one of chosen few who might be having good profits later on. You can still call us early adopters, there are more years to come and all of those regrets before should just be forgotten and move on. Buy what you can now, that will make most of the gaps you haven't filled. Even me thought that what if I have been a pioneer investors? Would I be rich by now? I guess not or I guess yes, we clearly don't know the future.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan as the Next Big Destination for iGaming Operators? on: May 10, 2019, 07:48:10 AM
We really are amaze of Japan's good hospitality for tourists, and if this plans will succeed then I guess those millions of visitors will increase for sure. I like Japan even if I haven't been able to go there, but I have friends that lives there and they are saying I should go there to experience new ambiance and new people. I couldn't imagine how would be the gaming centers and casinos out there but I am sure that it will be more what we will expect, this country just never stops to amaze me.
1098  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What people prefer Now- A Centralized or Decentralized Exchange on: May 10, 2019, 07:12:23 AM
As of now I am using a centralized one, I had bad experiences with decentralized exchanges so I stopped and change to a more secured exchanges. And also I'd rather comply to the regulations, it is better that way for me. I don't want to mess up with the local and national laws regarding with tax and others concerning this kind of matters. But still I would use both, sometimes when I have alts that are not available on the one that I am using I go to another and it includes decentralized exchanges.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 09, 2019, 07:35:49 PM
Let's continue the topic here since it was an interesting discussion but as usual, the shitposters kill any discussion open.
(it's a self-moderated thread)

With the current economy, the fears about the Brexit, Italy, the Sino-American problems and the general pessimism among investors; It looks like Gold is coming back the past months. At the same time, countries like the EU, Japan & China are reducing their investments in the economy,
(it should also reduce demand for the USD?)

Even the Central banks are buying more Gold (+13% from the previous year). Economists predict a dark year for 2019 and it seems a lot of large funds are now buying Gold massively. Especially from Asia and Soviets.

The purchases of Gold by the central banks increased by over 70% last year. It's something that didn't happen since the '60s - '70s and the dissolution of the Bretton Woods agreements. The main reason is to get away from the dollar. Even Iran and its crypto will be backed by Gold for the same reason and to avoid the US sanctions. Even the ETFs increased by something like 200% last year

The global economy is still weak despite what has been done (or not) since 2008. People, countries, central banks started to realize this and cover their ass by turning to Gold

I trust gold more than any other traditional assets all around, it is tested and aged since the beginning. In any case just to be safe, we better hold golds too for us to be put in a safe place. Sounds great right? Gold, Bitcoin, Farm Lands, I feel safe with these investments.
1100  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: May 09, 2019, 05:15:05 AM
Tingin ko timely ito dahil paparating na malaking bull run, hopefully this year.

1.) Ano ang mga na enjoy ninyo sa last bull run? Sa anong coins kayo kumita at sa anong paraaan?

2.) May regret ba kayo sa last bull run? Ano yun?
