I was wondering if Mane would leave Bayern Munich this summer. Because not a long time ago, Mane gave some signals to his possible departure. He was feeling like he didn't belong there and he missed some religious activities as well. However as far as I can see now he isn't likely to leave yet anyway. His manager stated that Mane still had 2 more years on his contract and there was no offer from a Saudi Arabia team either. In this case I also don't see any reason for him to leave now.

But if he gets an offer from Saudi Arabia then I think he would consider it seriously. The summer transfer window has just started so there is a long time to see if this happens.

I think it is only right if Mane leaves Bayern Munich to Saudi Arabia'; the relationship in Germany went sour when he fought with Sane and the German media reportedly backed Sane in the incidence, Mane even got fined too. It is unsure if Tuchel can convince Mane to remain but time will tell.

A strike force of Mane, Kane and Sane would be lit in Europe, if Bayern can make it happen

The massive overhaul Chelsea has made in the last 2 seasons is very risky. They have spent a lot of money to recruit new players but their income is not balanced. If you visit the site transfermarkt then you know their finances are out of balance.

Mauricio Pochettino shouldn't be rushing to purge the old Chelsea squad and replace it with a new one, but I think he may have the boss' approval already. Mauricio Pochettino seems to need a lot of time for his new team to really be able to put in good form, so I don't think Chelsea will be as good as expected next season.

The massive overhaul at Chelsea is risky, but it was inevitable; there were so many players that were underperforming and not doing well at all. While earning big wages; the likes of Ziyech, Koulibaly, Loftus Cheek, Harverts has been on the clubside with subpar performance and high wages. It is only right to move them on.

Similarly, Pochettino is doing well with purging the squad; the right time to rebuild chelsea is now

6 months ago, my savings went down because of the FTX debacle. I've never used FTX, I've never been a customer of this company, but my savings are in BTC, and because of that failure, BTC's value went down, and so went my savings.

Today, bis repetita. I've never used Binance. I've never been a customer of this company, but because the SEC sues Binance, BTC is down, and so are my savings, so I have a message to all bitcoiners out there.

Exchanges and BTC are 2 different things. One exchange going down doesn't mean BTC must follow.
Binance will disappear? I don't give a damn.

The best way to defeat the fear and panic that comes from Exchanges (Centralized or SDecentralized) being attacked in the news is to keep your funds in your wallet. I believe this is why it gets repeated time and time again that if you keep funds in an exchange platform; it is not yours!>

Also, one exchange especially a reputable one going down is enough to cause fuds and force weak hands off their hodlings; it is only natural. Bitcoin is here to stay, bitcoin is going to be around for a very long time too.

Finally, i care about binance and other reputable cex haha; they are the safest source of p2p for me.

Manchester United have been on the rise since Erik ten Hag era started. The question is how consistent can they be next season?

How consistent Manchester United will be depends on the signings made this summer transfer window. it will help shape up the entire season for Ten hag and Manchester United.

1. What happens to de gea? With Henderson getting sold to Nottingham and kovar coming back from loan; willl Manchester United sign a new goalie or reward De Gea with another contract?
2. What happens with the forward line? Manchester United scored as many goals as Brentford which is poor; will Rashford continue as 9 or will MUFC finally sign a striker in the mould of Harry Kane ??
3. What happens to Manchester United average midfield? they lack ball retention and cannot even progress play!

Whatever Ten Hag does about 1-3 determine how the season will be
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA U-17 World Cup Discussion Thread ⚽ on: June 26, 2023, 10:04:52 PM

There is no FIFA U-21 world cup. We have U-17 and U-20 world cups.

Yes this is correct, there is no FIFA U-21 world cup. Only UEFA hosts EURO U-21 tournaments for the youths in the European countries. Also Africa only follows FIFA model, U-17, U20, U-23 (Olympic Squad). In few months time, we will find out the country with the best footballers in teenagers football. I think France would do well to win the competition.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 26, 2023, 09:43:29 PM

Trading is not gambling. You require luck in gambling but you require work in trading.

What is your thought.

Yes, trading is not gambling. i agree 100%
Yet again, you need a bit luck in every endeavors so No, you require work + luck to achieve climax in everything you do including crypto currency trading. Every day, every month; we all together read news about bitcoin funds being liquidated in futures (the individuals whose funds were liquidated are traders, qualified and competent one too).

I always say that in trading, you do not need to be perfect but excellent; and need a bit of luck too. it doesn't take away your competency

Hello I am looking to invest my 20,000 dollars for retirement but I don't know the best crypto for me to put into to save myself from inflation. I'm 64 years old and don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of this crypto stuff so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.
You can contact me through the forum or via email I appreciate the help

20,000$ is a good amount of money to invest ion bitcoin; but the truth is that investment or more directly bitcoin investment should not be handled this way. As a 64 year old, you should not be depositing your entire savings and funds into bitcoin. WHy? because you will be forced to spend from it and that renders it vulnerable.

My advice for you? i think you should check out your capital again and define "spare money", you can use that to invest long term into bitcoin; because bitcoin is bullish long term

The potential transfer for Angel Di Maria to Benfica is near its conclusion. He will join his old team as a free agent until 2024.

Di Maria to Benfica on a free transfer is good for the clubside; they have a mentality monster and a senior player in their ranks to help the team, nuture the young talents and also contest for titles in the Portuguese league, i am sure it is also on lower wages. If Angel Di Maria can stay fit; can be a quality signing for the Benfica side

Sunday's gossip:

Manchester City are considering a bid for Paris St-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi, 24, and "will not hesitate" to pay a big fee for the Morocco international. Manchester City is getting stronger for the new season and another top footballer is leaving PSG.
Manchester City have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig's Croatia centre-back Josko Gvardiol, 21. According to all available information, Guardiol will become the most expensive defensive footballer in history and join another Croatian in the team, Kovacic.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/66007856

I like Manchester city approach in this transfer market. They are direct and straight to the point.

  • Released Gundogan, and then Took 25M for Kovavic, added add ons and got him with ease.
  • If Hakimi joins City, he would replace the agey Kyle Walker
  • Sent an 100M offer to West Ham for Rice.
  • Now another 80+M offer to Liezpig to sign Josko Gvardiol; WITH Laporte reportedly leaving Manchester after been unfavorred to start; Pep and MCFC are already planning for the future.

This is how a football club should run haha.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 25, 2023, 03:41:08 PM
There is rumors Al-Nassr want to sign Marcelo Brozović from Inter Milan, and it seems like these rumors will happen because Inter Milan needs a big amount of funds to buy a lot of players too. Actually, this player is also being targeted by the Barcelona club, but it looks like Barcelona doesn't have enough money to compete with Al Nassr, because I think we know how powerful the Saudi Pro League money is. Brozovic as far as I know this guy was player key for Inter Milan last season, him helping them winning the Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, as well as reach the final of the UCL.

Well, its a good deal for Inter Milan if Brozovic moves to Saudi for a very huge fee. At 30 years, past his prime, i believe its right time for Inter Milan to let go, cash out and get younger replacement for the Talisman. Also, With AC Milan interested in Lukaku; it is important for Inter Milan to begin to shape up their transfer market.

Will EPL investigate chelsea soon? There are so many questions related to the chelsea's transfers to the saudi arabian clubs. It's caused by people knew that if PIF has been also owning majority of shares in clearke capital.
Is that mean if chelsea will be sanctioned? So far, there's no update came from EPL regarding this.

Quote
A number of European clubs are calling for a 'fair market investigation' into Saudi Arabia's transfer interest in a number of Chelsea and Wolves players.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12213629/European-rivals-call-investigations-Saudi-Arabias-signings-Chelsea-Wolves.html

Chelsea has been spending so much money last season. Remember if PIF is also owning majority of shares in newcastle too.

Chelsea may be newcastle's brother.

There is nothing to investigate, i think other clubsides are just jealous of Chelsea sales because so far it has been excellent. Boehly is restructuring the chelsea team with regards to age and salary cap; and he is also trying to balancing the cheques, it is only right to sell excess squad players. So far, Chelsea has raised good amounts from Kovacic, Harverts, Ziyech, Mendy and raised good amounts of money already!!!!

Even Mason Mount will be off to Manchester United on another 50M sale. Its a fair game from Chelsea

With the attacking style of Bayern Munich Kane would score around 30+ goals per season in Bayern for sure. Bayern still is looking for a striker after Lewandowski left and i think this is a perfect chance to get him in this transfer window because we know that Kane isnt satisfied in Tottenham

With Harry Kane goal scoring record in the English premier league, i can confidently as a fan say that he is not leaving England for any club sides in Europe. The most likely destination for Harry Kane would be Manchester United or he remains in Tottenham. A move to Bayern Munich or PSG is not happening
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 24, 2023, 09:37:25 PM

In my opinion, a player like Declan Rice should prioritize having more play time instead of looking for the best team to go to. And let’s not forget that Arsenal is not a bad team. They have also finished in the second position.

The sad part is if he goes to Arsenal, there is always a chance for Arsenal to win the English Premier League title. But is it worth having a title in which he is not going to have much of a contribution? With Arsenal, he will also be able to play in the Champions League end. If Arsenal can win the English Premier League title next season. He will also be praised a lot more compared to if he was in Manchester City.

With regards to Rice, i think it is better he goes to a dominant team; why leave West Ham to go and struggle at Arsenal or Manchester United? When you can go to Manchester City and thrive alongside Rodri in midfield; with a dominant front line too with guaranteed trophies too.

Quality wise, Rice is a huge talent who will perform in any of the 3 clubsides (Arsenal, Manchester  United or Manchester City). The question is, which team will Rice choose?
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 24, 2023, 09:32:07 PM

Mount was actually eager to stay at Chelsea already. He just wanted a fair contract from the team. But it looks like Chelsea still don't have such intention. If Pochettino also can't revert things here I don't know how Mount's future will be. They will need to accept Manchester United's offer somewhere reasonable.

To be fair, i do not think Mount issues at Chelsea is due to contract offers; because Manchester United offer is just the same as the one Chelsea has offered. I think instead maybe the players feels unwanted in the club due to numerous signings in the midfield position and also the insistence of coaches who continue to play him on  the wings. That aside, Manchester United should either buy for 45M or come back for him in the summer as a free transfer
98  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CBN Mandate Banks to Use Social Media Handle for Customer's KYC on: June 24, 2023, 03:05:36 PM

My Naija pipo, make una see tori for ground!

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has released its Customer Due Diligence Regulations 2023 or financial institutions under its regulatory purview as it takes a decisive stance against financial crimes.

The CBN’s latest move aims to bolster compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT) provisions while aligning with international best practices.

In an effort to enhance the accuracy and depth of customer identification, the CBN has made it mandatory for financial institutions to collect and verify customers’ social media handles as part of their Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. FULL DETAILS HERE

Now, Wetin Una think? Abeg say your mind.

This issue contradicts the data protection bill signed earlier this month, for some reasons. the Nigeria government cannot work in synergy and they keep and continue to move in stupid directions. I can easily submit a new social media account for kyc, pass verification and delete the account. What then is the fuss for this needless cycle.

This country continues to amaze me

I love the move of Mbappe to Real Madrid. It will be very good for his career right now. He would of course improve greatly.

My fear for him though, is if he would be able to overcome any racist abuse or chants hauled at him.
We saw what happened to Vini Junior in one of his games.
Here in the Spanish league, his patience will be tested and form questioned.

Well, i am also of the opinion that Mbappe deserves a Real Madrid Move or else he will be overshadowed in the race for the Baloon d'or yet again. Mbappe has had an amazing season with PSG and he is no where near player of the year rankings or hypes because he remains in the farmers league; even Haaland is tipped for the d'or thanks to
Manchester city treble win.

One thing meanwhile is that nobody is Benching Vini off the Left spot inn the starting 11
I believe Perez and Real Madrid and ofcourse La liga will fight and win the racism wars and there can be just football banters again.
100  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Patricia breached, bitcoin and naira stolen. on: June 23, 2023, 08:37:29 PM
I hope you know what Patricia is? A platform located in Nigeria that you can trade bitcoin, few other cryptocurrencies and gift cards. But I think it offers more, which you can see in the image below:

This is another example of not your key not your coin. Withdrawal as been suspended on Patricia indefinitely.

If you do not trade, move your coins out of any exchange to a reputed noncustodial wallet. Cold wallets which are safer are recommended. I have opened account on Patricia before, not that good for trading as only few coins are listed and not supporting derivatives market. I am surprised that some people still trade and leave their coins and naira on Patricia.

Till today, i remain perplexed and surprised at what happened with Patricia and the silence from nigeria sec and efcc offices. Patricia has been in financial troubles since year 2021; yet they been de fund BBN and offer juicy offers consolidating the loss; while their ceo invested in tesla ride. It is true that Not your keys, not your funds, it is also true that Patricia is registered in Nigeria SEC and should be brought to book.

In addition, Eyowo Microfinance Bank and Patricia Switch (same affiliations) both defrauded Nigeria and further raised concerns about bitcoin operations in the country to the already negative SEC guys
