81  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens after Alt Season? on: April 07, 2021, 10:29:20 AM
What usually happens to Bitcoin after Alt season? Does the value go down? Or it goes up again?
This absolutely depends on the holders, sometimes when these altcoins are be cash out they are directly be move into bitcoin which cause the price of bitcoin to move more higher. Altcoin seasons are always followed with the rise of the bitcoin and not otherwise, this was what happened in the year 2017 that gat many retail investors to float their money into bitcoin, we hope the old days repeat itself again.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2021 $100000 in Dec? on: April 07, 2021, 10:05:45 AM
Just tried searching the image to know it authenticity but couldn't find anything becasue the said speculation wasn't back up by anything. This shouldn't be accepted until there's a good data portraying it legitimacy, we all know the $100k isn't far from bitcoin to achieve but we should also understand market dynamism as anything can happen to the market through the whales. One thing i will suggest is that, we should stop to speculate bitcoin price to avoid larger portion of the market manipulation.

84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin(BTC) Price By 2021 Year End on: April 05, 2021, 03:48:53 PM
Can there be a vacuum pump?, correctly looking at the general market them one can say Bitcoin dominance has went down and the altcoin season is about to cripple into action when this action happen then bitcoin price will be affected. Am not saying that bitcoin price won't rise but expecting something big in such situations will be negative, so, let us get the $80k+ before aiming at a bigger price. We have seen how hard it is to bitcoin to brake the $60k+
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Halving in 2024 & Price prediction? on: April 05, 2021, 03:29:59 PM
I will not be expecting anything less than 500k per Bitcoin in the year 2024 if this momentum should continue. It is no doubt that institution are trooping in and we can see the evidence in the price action
Speculatively, if the bitcoin cycle don't experience a brake then we can be rest assured that what you speculated is likely to be achieve. In another way, investors should be the determinant of what happens next to bitcoin price in future, so, we can't just wake up and start discussion bitcoin price when the halving still be more far and anothing can happen. I could speculate $500k+ if the current momentum are sustain.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: April 05, 2021, 03:13:18 PM
Hello. I see different platform like nexo, blockifi, etc... that can borrow you crypto or stablecoin. I'm here to ask if you have a strategy for example you borrow btc with an interest rate of 6% and then you use it on defi with 8% APR. Thanks for helpful. Cool Cool
It doesn't happen all the time what we want. What is the guarantee that APR will be stable? Sometimes, we have to pay interest from our own income. But you can take the loan and can trade if you are a experienced trader. I hope, you will able to pay your interest and earn good profit.

Let me buttress my point a little: APR aren't constant figures, likewise the price of different coins in the market, so, is the likes of APR. The coins you intend to choice today might be doing well but suddenly something happen and it price drop, so will the APR drop also. There were stories around the internet about funds managers who ran into loss and later ended up in prison, what do you think about them?, unprofessional right?, i said NO they are professional but the market went down without any notification: More reasons you always hear some slogan "invest what you can afford to loss".
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2021, 03:02:07 PM
There are 4000+ religions out there, where religion with decent followers have tens to hundreds denomination. So my question is, which religion and denomination you're talking about? I bet all of them have very diverse opinion on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
With due respect i haven't seen others on this issue than the Islamic religion and this gat my attention toward their believes on acceptance of new technologies. Yeah, there were series of other religions opinioned but wasn't as loud as this religion, though not exonerating others from this but theirs was to some extent. Bitcoin just made some decade and some are still doubting the legality and authenticity of it existence. The problem here is: most of these guys(scholars or leaders) are huge mentors and had chained millions of minds not to accept what they are not accepting, was religion made of such?, it's personal and sell will.

89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fine line between market investment and sports gambling on: April 03, 2021, 04:15:03 PM
When the intention of doing sports betting is to make more then both hedging funds and sportbook are similar in nature and moreover yes its just a pure gambling. But we are living in a society consider one as sin and other one as smartest move from a person.
This types are those who are addicted to gambling and investment; these two are same when you motives are to hit and run from them but will later become the victim in the making. When you have dubious mindset towards the investment and gambling believe me you will definitely become their victim, example: invest just 100$ to get $10,000k or there are sure odds for pick that will cost just $100 but at the end went down the drain.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling firms helping Government and people during quarantine, literally. on: April 03, 2021, 09:42:40 AM
<snip>
~~~ And honestly, nor should any credit be given to a public entity for doing exactly what they're supposed to do.
What you mean is: becasue of the government helping the citizens they shouldn't be commended?, yes the funds belongs to the government and not the people and for them remembering to give back to the communities demand commendations from citizens. Take for example my country, the government will wack the funds and heaven won't fall on anybody, so, lets always show the government some appreciations when they give back to us.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 03, 2021, 09:26:10 AM
tbh, I strongly advise to who ever or has the power to set a rules and regulation that not only they will based on the age but as well as the capability of the individual to pay. Per, observation as long your 18 or you look like adult they let you play. But I would say 25 y/o and above I guess by that time you are earning your own money without asking for your parents or any relatives for monetary assistance.
That should be what the governments or these gambling platforms should lay more emphasis on becasue those without the earnings shouldn't be allow to gamble and if they should it must be question. There are those who don't earn anything in their life but will like to always visit the gambling centers to carryout criminal acts, IMO, those with the means should be open for gambling platforms only.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2021, 08:52:06 AM
"...Because several of the youths involved in crypto currency will end being unemployed.."
<sniP>
But regardless of it, I respect all of the religion and if they don't look at bitcoin in a positive manner, we need to wait for them until they change their stance or we should remain to respect them with that.
IMO, I don't see reasons to wait for such humans all becasue of their believes that are contrary against trending events. We have moved from the stone age to technological age and they (religions leaders) should understand with this movement to blend with the norms of this generation. Should we constantly keep ourselves from embracing new technologies when need arises? we needed a cashless policy and we had one, then boom religions leaders will swig into action by reading different meanings for such techs and preach their loyalist against it. No need to wait for anyone, they should join us soon!!.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: April 02, 2021, 07:39:19 PM
With fees so high, I'm wondering if big gamblers are switching from BTC/ETH to other options. Is there any data on what's being used? With limited options, what coins should a new platform consider supporting?
Bitcoin has grown to that extent that need to be protected from rustling, this has achieve more prestige that anyone who is holding it should be counted lucky. Ethereum has one of the most ridiculous fess charges and no one would dear to gamble with it, but the likes of some good fast transaction coins should be embrace into gambling such as TRON, RIPPLE and BNB in my suggestion.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: April 02, 2021, 06:35:47 PM
I don't really blame the internet when I lose in a gamble since the result is based on my decision and what I will do when it's my turn (poker). Even if I can reconnect in the game the result would be the same. I may have some bad experience with the connectivity but at least I tried my best to win but sadly I lose so there's nothing I can do after that but to play next round.
Somehow we can blame the internet connectivity when its connection are poor on our loss, sometimes when i venture into gambling platforms i always wants my internet connectivity intact becasue of my win, most especially when am on sport games. Though, not that the internet connectivity will add something to your win/loss but instincts usually do to us gamblers all the time  Grin.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 02, 2021, 06:05:37 PM
there is always difference of opinion everywhere, there is no reason to single out the religions.<snip>
Even in Christendom they were against this internet money and not only just single down to the Muslim only, but we were also told about the beast and it mark 666 in Revelation 13:16-18, so,” I think the truth is, it is still too early to be dogmatic”.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: April 02, 2021, 05:30:20 PM
They could have done that when they were still strong and vibrant but, what exactly does this exhibition fight stand for? their strength has gone down and no excitement will be catch during their fight I presume. Although am not against the exhibition fight but sincerely not always exciting. Those who care more about the ring should always ensure to have matches and rematches of a concerned opponent before go out.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 02, 2021, 05:09:23 PM
Using bits to represent value which can be exchange into services and goods has generated some argument among religions leaders and In this case the University of Lagos Muslim Alumni (UMA) has examined the Islamic perspectives, benefits and limitations to Muslims in this regard. Dr Muiz Banire, said “the reality of the situation is that there are always better ways of addressing a default. Because several of the youths involved in crypto currency will end being unemployed, which will enhance social dislocation and insecurity”, such definitely understand the true nature of man.
On the other side, “Most of the scholars said it is not allowed because it has not met the conditions. They argue that it has not protected wealth to a large extent while few scholars that accepted digital currency buttress their point that even the paper money was also rejected before it was accepted globally.” Sources
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 02, 2021, 04:48:06 PM
I agree gambling tends to do a lot of harm to young people their emotions are very high but they can not easily overcome the risk therefore if they are a little heavier age their intelligence is much higher and their ability to control is more. Even if you fall into loss you can easily overcome the bad situation by doing market analysis young people do not have this tendency they want to earn more with less work-specific age limit for gambling benefits.
The harm is much that the world should arise with an age bracket for gambling and not this un-stabilize age bracket we have. Image some countries allowing teenagers without any sources of revenue to gamble, where do we think they will definitely find the funds for this act if not stealing?, the government always look away from what benefit them than putting into serious consideration the potential harm such actions could lead to in the country. In my dear country this age bracket is doing more harm than good, what do you imagine a teenager do after loss all his money - he or she will tend to take hard drugs to stabilize.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use locktime for hodling? on: April 01, 2021, 09:09:01 AM
Why would you want to lock it if you can just hodl it the traditional way. What if there is an emergency and you really need the money for that emergency, wouldn't locking it make it difficult?.....
I think this question was asked somewhere i can't remember and this was some answers presented. Locktime is good but mostly dangerous to those who don't have other sources of income, emergency is inevitable in the world we live in and for anyone to solely follow the Locktime rule might have self to blame when these unforeseen emergency emerge. The only advise i would give to any HODLER out there is always to hold unto what he's hodling right now and always remembering the future. This is liken to more reasons why Savings accounts are more in use in the Banks than the fixed deposit or current accounts.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 01, 2021, 08:21:44 AM
I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.
Cheesy you shouldn't admire any adopters becasue you were early on the technology, 2013 was still very much early for those who went into the technology comparing to those who just made their first step into the technology. Even those who made it into the technology around the 2017 still very much early except when the price skyrocketed and crashed back again before some of us find their way in. I standing before you went into the industry somewhere around 2018 and have made something good for my future and that of my family, basically, there's always a chance for everybody even those yet to venture into this opportunity.
