their login method of email+ password can be cheated easily by those with access to victims email via many methods of gaining email access
They allow users to log in with phone numbers too. It is another risk with Sim Swap attacks.

[BEWARE] Sim Port Attack.

Users can have many bad practices by using same passwords for emails, accounts and don't use 2FA for their emails. Or they can install 2FA on a mobile phone on which they log in their email and their exchange account. Exchanges can not protect users with bad practice like this.

Users must use strong passwords and don't use a same device for email, 2FA and exchange.

82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people still using bitcoin ATMs? on: March 09, 2024, 09:57:19 AM
I've been long fascinated with bitcoin ATM machines and love to spot them wherever I go traveling but haven't seen one for a long time in New York – are there any of them left in the city at all?
You can find ATM with https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin-atm-near-me/ and enter New York to search.

Quote
I keep hearing anecdotal stories of people using them but wonder if they are still considered a good way to buy bitcoin, given the steep fees these machines often charge.
There are risk when using Bitcoin ATMs like their very expensive fees.

0.14 BTC with 10 sats pending  Sad

The transaction disappeared from my trust wallet history. My balance is the same as before I sent it, but it won't let me make new transfers. Will the transfer be completed automatically, even if it is late?
With mempools now: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC%20(default%20mempool),8h,weight

Transactions with fee rates from 12 sat/vbyte + will have good chance to be confirmed this weekend but because from 12 sat/vbyte to 10 sat/vbyte, there are many pending transactions, your chance is small with 10 sat/vbyte.

There are about 13,000 pending transactions between 10 sat/vbyte to 12 sat/vbyte.

The bitcoin fee is quite cheap at this moment, perhaps its a good time for you to deposit (and good luck!)?
It was cheaper last weekend but went up recent days. Today it dips again and it is good time for transactions before mempools will be more heavily by Ordinals and Bitcoin bull run generally will cause more demand to move Bitcoin on chain.

And if you decide to do that another time, then you can check the fees from time to time here https://mempool.space/

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Contributing to the network on: March 07, 2024, 03:08:29 PM
Why not start promoting Bitcoin among your family members and friends?
It is one of worst idea. Things relate to money, I don't try to promote it to my family members, friends as there will be potentially negative effects for my relationships with them.

If you respect your relationship with them, want to maintain it, don't do any action relates to money.

Quote
In that way, you are still contributing to the network as you are increasing its adoption.
Adoption is not closely related to Bitcoin network. If they only buy bitcoin, hold it, it does not help the Bitcoin network that can be helped by Bitcoin full nodes and Bitcoin miners.

Quote
Word of mouth is the reason why everyone in the initial days started buying Bitcoin or mining Bitcoin
If you are a Bitcoin investor, you only can promote it to other people and introduce them to Bitcoin investment. You can not introduce them about Bitcoin mining as you have no experience with it.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for legit bridge between ETH and SOLANA ? on: March 07, 2024, 11:04:54 AM
Have used both of these, just check which gives you a better bang for your buck. Also, there are times when the bridging process took more than 30 minutes lol so don't panic if it doesn't arrive in 10 minutes or so. Other than delays, no problems at all on my side
Months ago, bridging with Zksync took about 24 hours to be proceeded. It is a bit annoying and risky to do bridging and wait for a long time to have your cryptocurrency.

Airdrop hunters don't use big money for bridging so they will have less panic and fear but with actual users, I think it's risky to bridge with big capital. A safer strategy is bridging their big capital day by day to avoid black swan events on that bridge.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 07, 2024, 11:02:10 AM
The fair value is the amount that some investors believe is good and start selling Bitcoin. Some may think that the price of $68,000 is a fair price for Bitcoin, so they start selling. The majority do not think so, so we do not see a deep correction, but if the price reaches the levels of $160,000, for example. The majority of those in the market will know that Bitcoin is overpriced and start selling, a few will think that it is a low price and hold, leading to a deep correction.
In any case, there is a group that plans to hold Bitcoin for long periods, and this category will most likely not sell anything in the near future (at least 10 years).
There are many people in the market and they have different entries so they have different favor exit prices as well.

With people who bought Bitcoin about $16,000, it makes a lot of sense for them to take profit around $66,000. With people who only joined around $50,000, they likely expect bigger profit and will not sell now.

With leverage and futures enthusiasts, they are gambling with leverages and bet that they will win against the market. Unfortunately they will mostly fail against the market.

The Bitcoin Net Unrealized Profit Loss shows Bitcoin can have drag down from current area. There are sometimes it continues to rise more from this area of NUPL. So with this, it's unpredictable for next movement of Bitcoin.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run again, huh on: March 06, 2024, 01:36:38 PM
What is a realistic expectation from the bull run, given  the last one in March 2021, Bitcoin hit  $61,000 and fell down to 31k about two couple of months later... It rose later on, amazingly though. But is this price fall normal in the bull run?? What is a helpful tip here.
Learn about Double top and compares it with the last bull run of Bitcoin in 2021.

Double Top: Definition, Patterns, and Use in Trading

After hitting a peak, price must be corrected but it can rally after all and make a double top. After that, we will have a bear market and the double top will prolong the bull market, give market makers more time to complete their distribution phase.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US GOVERNMENT CONTINUES BITCOIN SEIZURES, CONTROLS NEARLY 1% OF CIRCULATING SUPP on: March 06, 2024, 01:30:47 PM
japanese gov(courts) had control of more coin than US, and from just one source (mtgox bankruptcy)
https://bitcointreasuries.net/
https://bitcointreasuries.com/

These sites have different figures for Mt.Gox and they both don't list it as Japanese government. The first site has a figure of 141,686 BTC but the second site has a number of 200,000.

Even with 200,000 BTC, if it belongs to Japanese government, this number is still smaller than the USA. government with 215,000 BTC.
90  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Nigeria vs Binance on: March 06, 2024, 01:23:22 PM
https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/articles/c25817r8wk8o
Nigeria goment demand $10 billion in damages from Binance
It is like a joke from Nigerian government as their macroeconomics is their national problems that cause the decrease of purchasing power of Naira, not Bitcoin or Binance is the cause.

Their Naira rate to US dollar drops from 0.0068 in March 2009 to 0.00064 in March 2024, it is not caused by Binance.

Quote
What is this? The Nigerian government thinks that if CZ paid 4 billion to the US government, then it will agree to pay Nigeria?
They are too naive to think that Binance and CZ will accept this case. CZ already stepped down as Binance CEO months ago but Binance have no solid reason to accept this request and they even don't negotiate with it. It can be a precedent case for other nations to arbitrarily suit Binance and ask for money.

If Nigerian government succeeds with Binance, they will do the same with other exchanges. Good opportunity for them to get money.

Did you mean https://github.com/unisat-wallet?
ArpFlush,

Unisat wallet is for Ordinal BRC20 token.
Its website: https://unisat.io/
Its Github is a link above posted by Yamane_Keto.

It still exists and Ordinals BRC20 tokens still exist too. They have yet died and we will have to wait for 2026 bear market to see many BRC20 tokens die.

We don't need a new sub-board for that, one thread will be enough. Like this one for example: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns

Anyone can make a thread like that if they want to. It might be useful for the community, but it will need to be updated regularly to remain relevant.
It can be added to a thread of cafter.

[Overview] Bitcointalk Contests And Giveaways and I support to add it in that thread than creating a new thread.

Events hosted by the forum are not too much and it's unnecessary to create a new thread.

It can be announced in Discord

93  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto's networth ever being rated? on: March 01, 2024, 12:07:27 PM
So I ask, is Satoshi Nakamoto who is the inventor of this bitcoin technology richer that those populated world influential richest investors who still invests in his investment technology platform (bitcoin)?
We don't know real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.
We can not know how many bitcoins owned by Satoshi Nakamoto. Only can estimate it with Bitcoin genesis block and early addresses.
We can not know Satoshi Nakamoto fate now, alive or dead.

Many things we don't know about the Bitcoin founder and it does not make sense to estimate his wealth or wonder does he still invest in Bitcoin. He even does not need to invest more money in it with many bitcoins he has.

Bitcoin is not an investment technology platform!
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From today; 28.02.2024 - How low do you think the coming BTC dip will be..?? on: March 01, 2024, 11:59:39 AM
It just can not go one way to the moon - How deep will the next dip be, do you think..?
There is huge demand as effects from Bitcoin Spot ETFs while supply is decreasing with less available Bitcoin on OTC markets and halving in April will reduce new supply more.

Bitcoin will have dip after rising many months but will a dip happens after it breaks out and makes a new all time high or will a dip occur after Bitcoin fails to break out. Two big questions for two opposite movements of Bitcoin.

I don't know it will move up or down but I expect a big candle with about $10,000 price change either up or down in coming days.

Recently there was a match between Luton Town vs Manchester City, they closed the game with a score of 2:6 and those goals came from Haaland and they let him rest after they secure the goal and make a lot of substitutions after the halftime. Their match seems like Luton is still quite confused with their response every time the Man City will attack if you check the reply their players doesn't chase too much with the ball. Hope Man United will give us a more interesting game.
The big win from Manchester City is like their strong warning to Manchester United, their next opponent.

Manchester United have their problems and Rashford tends to repeat a same journey of Jadon Sancho. He has poor performances in this season and started to have conflict with Ten Hag. About forms of two teams, Manchester City are better. About their squad strength and depth, Manchester City are better too. Lastly, about internal things, Manchester City are more united and better too.

With this beast return, Haaland, Manchester City will have a better power against Manchester United in the coming match. Foden, De Bruyne will give more attacking power against United and they can support Haaland very well too.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 28, 2024, 01:43:10 PM
If you ask me for my personal opinion, then the answer is that he and his administration will be very harsh on Bitcoin, or at least try to be. However, unlike when he was the president for the first time, now in the game with BTC we have very powerful companies like BlackRock and Fidelity, and a very strong crypto mining sector that will lobby together so that there are no strict regulations or maybe even bans.
Bitcoin has matured and come to a point that it is a political issue. Accept it, prohibit it will create advantage or disadvantage of a politician's propaganda or a party's propaganda.

Trump just has to accept this fact, join the trend and do something oppositely with Biden administration to gain support from US. citizens especially citizens who love Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and are investors in this industry.

Quote
As for the CBDC, the matter is very clear, if he become the president, he will do everything to prevent this from happening, but he will have the same attitude towards everything he considers to be a threat to the US dollar.
It is not actually threat for US. dollar but for privacy of US. citizens. Only my thinking, I guess Trump worries about CBDC's power to trace his money flow too. He possibly will care more about himself, before the US. citizens.

Quote
I (and certainly many people) would like to see some third option for president, because Biden is simply too old and senile, and Trump is a man against whom various court proceedings are being conducted and as such he should not have a chance to run at all.
I am outside of USA, not their citizen but I feel a little bit that a big nation like them can not have better candidates for an upcoming President Election. Both Biden and Trump are too old already and they need to find other people but fact is this Election will be between two old men.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I search for such Altcoins on CMC or CoinGecko? on: February 27, 2024, 01:47:08 AM
Then from there I want to filter it by 1 step further by sorting by the lowest % from its All-Time-Low price.
With Coinmarketcap, click on Customize, you can choose From ATH, From ATL, %YTD.

I know it does not help you completely but partially it is helpful.

Coinmarketcap does not have filter for date of TGE as I know bvut you can use that filter to narrow down your list. Then check it more with Trading view or directly on coinmarketcap with a page for each cryptocurrency, choose the time frame of its chart, to All, and see how long has it been lasting till 2024.

Before playing the Manchester derby match, Manchester City will face Luton Town in the FA Cup tournament. Again, in my opinion, Pep Guardiola can rest several main players to ensure several main players are fit against Manchester United.
Luton's quality is not comparable to Manchester City's, but if Pep Guardiola is serious about the FA Cup, not all players will be completely rested. Pep will bring them on with just a few moments remaining before the end of the match.
Manchester City have many star players even as substitutions and they have abundant choices for their squad against Luton Town. FA Cup is not their priority but even with their squad B, they can beat Luton Town easily if they won't sudden have a very bad performance or out of luck.

Manchester City will reserve their star players for Premier League where they are competing with two strong competitors and must avoid injuries of important players for next rounds of Champions League like quarter finals and even semi finals. They can sacrifice FA Cup to defend their Champions League crown and to win Premier League.

It's not time for them to sacrifice FA Cup because the opponent is not strong and a win is possible for Manchester City with their squad B.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: February 26, 2024, 02:51:54 PM
Manchester City will be the favorite team while Manchester United is not the favorite team to win the Manchester derby. The odds for Manchester City will be smaller than the odds for Manchester United.

If it's like this, the draw option will be the option to bet because it is to maintain the opportunity if Manchester City fails to win.
Manchester United lost against Fulham in front of their own fans (Old Trafford) and Manchester City won against Bournemouth with a narrow score at the Vitality Stadium as an away match.

A comparison of the results of the two shows that Manchester City's chances of winning are greater. In terms of performance this season, Manchester United cannot be superior.
Your thinking is very logic and is the same as mine but I want to express one more thinking. Manchester City already got a good win from a first leg in Champions League against Copenhagen so they will not mind too much about the second leg.

This will give them more time to think of a Manchester derby match against Manchester United and this will reduce chance for Manchester United in that match. Even a draw looks to be out of reach for Manchester United if Manchester City won't suddenly underperform.

The odds will be favorite on Manchester City as a winner and if any person is a fan of Manchester United, if he wants to bet, bet a draw is best option.

Good luck participants!
This Manchester Derby match will be very exciting because both Manchester teams need to win it.

Manchester City are still in a tight competition with Liverpool and Arsenal. They have good results recently but will start their hard matches in coming weeks, starting with Manchester United. These tough matches will decide Manchester City continue to race with Liverpool and Arsenal or will be left behind.

Manchester United with a shock defeat by Fullham, temporarily have 8 points less than Aston Villa at the fourth position and they are even under Tottenham Hotspur. They will need to beat Manchester City to maintain their small chance and hope to beat both Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur to join top four.
