81  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 08, 2024, 02:47:56 AM
Ok so this has been a hit to my lively hood as I gamble for a living to make ends meet. Now you can give me the " you shouldn't rely on gambling to make ends meet" speech all you want but the fact of the matter is that's what I do. So I need some guidance in what legal action we need to all take and I mean all as in " the ripped of wagering group" the longer they don't respond or fix it the more damages I'm going to claim. They just gave a Lambo away supposedly I think they have the funds to fix this bullshit that they either participated in or knew/ know about yet refuse to answer to.

Legal action for $500? It will most likely cost you more than that $500 to claim them. To begin with, the site does not have a ToS or an "About Us" where the company number is stated, where it is located, etc. It sounds to me that it is based somewhere in Asia (I could be wrong). So, hiring a lawyer from your country to claim that $500 intercontinentally I don't know how much it could be but it's not like a simple lawsuit against a website from your own country, it's going to be very expensive.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar being addicted to online poker on: May 08, 2024, 02:41:01 AM
I had not seen this thread and it seems to me that things have been taken out of context. Addiction has to do with not being able to stop doing an activity despite the negative consequences and as far as we know Neymar has not squandered his fortune playing poker. The 6-month-old daughter doesn't even know what's going on, and if instead of playing poker he was giving likes on Instagram we wouldn't be talking about it.

Neymar is not addicted to poker. We shouldn't jump into conclusion.
I read the article and more information presented in the article makes me believe that he doesn't have an online poker or gambling addiction.

  • Neymar loves Poker and he's been playing it since After the 2014 World Cup
  • He intends to become a professional poker player and participate in major tournaments after his retirement from football.
  • He sees a similarity between poker and football
  • He is a brand ambassador with PokerStars

Now judge for yourself with this added information which the OP missed out, do you still think he has an online poker or gambling addiction?
He sees a connection between Poker and Football, yes, if we approach it from his perspective, we can see that the situation is normal.

I agree with this, and if he has been playing poker since 2014, having a net worth currently of $250M, poker is no problem for him.
83  Other / Meta / Re: Are no-KYC services banned? on: May 08, 2024, 02:31:05 AM
The problem is not in "kycfree" or "only-Tor", with a 99% probability the thread was moved to the archive because the interface allows you to exchange "BTC for BTC".
I use the onion site again and wanted to use it to exchange bitcoin for bitcoin and I saw that you are right. The site would be said to be a mixer because of that. An exchange should be a platform that one coin can be exchanged to another and not the same coin. If it is the same coin it is a mixer.

What if I use Bitcoin to exchange it for a shitcoin, and I use those shitcoins to buy Bitcoin again?

You can expand this to bridges that allow users to bridge from one cryptocurrency to another cryptocurrency.

So if the expansion is right in the concept, will cryptocurrency bridges, from one blockchain to another, from layer 1 to layer 2, will soon be classified as mixers in future.

I am very curious that will bridges become next targets of SEC. and DOJI.

This. In the end, legislation will prohibit any movement of funds that is not perfectly identified KYC, as a bank transaction, regardless of whether it is from Bitcoin to Bitcoin or with shitcoins in between. I have been saying this for a long time and have been barked at for it, but anyone who does not see the way this is going is willfully blind.
84  Other / Meta / Are illegal services using impersonation allowed? on: May 08, 2024, 02:25:28 AM
Because I see one that has been running on the forum for 4 years and should have been banned long before mixers were banned. I don't know if it's because it doesn't run a signature campaign that it doesn't attract so much attention and that's why it's still being advertised. Besides, at the rate we are going it seems that the forum is going to ban everything that offers privacy, such as non-kyc casinos, which can be used for mixing as well.

Not that I personally have anything against the service, but it is striking to me that any service that remotely resembles a mixer is not allowed and this one is.

85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: May 07, 2024, 04:54:01 AM
At least the OP has had a good idea and used the money won responsibly, with so many gamblers who when they win think they are on a roll and keep betting to lose what they have won and more.

If you are an old gambler that really knows how much losing means then this will be applicable because for sure you also knew how to manage spending your winning.
but if you are just a regular gambler that still hunts for luck to be with your side then I believe that all these winnings will go back to the casino for losing , because the easy you win is the easier you will spend.

I don't think it's a question of being an old gambler or not, but of having knowledge. Many times you are not going to win, so when you win a significant amount it is better to take it out of the casino and spend it on something useful.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Food shortages coming to the United Kingdom, BUT - on: May 07, 2024, 04:37:24 AM
They do it on purpose. It is all fabricated. Just like covid. Seriously though, why haven't anybody caught covid19 this winter? I see nobody is fainting on the streets anymore. Come to think of it, I only see these fainting people on the internet and they were from China. I never saw it anywhere else.
Just because the governments stopped reporting stats it doesn't mean COVID19 was fabricated and nobody is catching it anymore.

Well, I don't want to get too much into the Covid issue, what I will say is that I think there was partial manipulation. Not that it was all a fabrication.

In this case of the alleged food shortage it reminds me of what happened with the emperor Commodus in Rome. He grew up with a slave who later became a freedman and by being a friend of his reached heights of power. Commodus was disengaged from power and this freedman one of the things he did was to provoke a food shortage, diverting the grain that came from Egypt to save it and later appear as the savior who alleviated the famine of the people.

With this I want to show that there are very old cases of politicians who offer to solve problems that they themselves create.

The so-called food shortage due to climate change is a scam. You only have to look at the agriculture of the Netherlands or Israel in the middle of a fucking desert to realize that if we stop victimizing stories and spreading panic among the population, current technology allows us to create food in abundance, in very adverse climates.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Max Win is the worst thing that could happen to you. on: May 07, 2024, 04:27:47 AM
So far I have not done any KYC at crypto casinos, nor do I think I will.

Most casinos nowadays don't let you do the KYC process until they request it, this means you will not get KYCed unless a lot of money or fraud is involved, but it would be nice if users could do the KYC process before deciding if to deposit or not.

Well, this time i have 3 questions for the community, i want to see what people think about how gambling works nowadays.

If you could do KYC process before making a deposit, would you do it?

This smells bad to me, and differs from the fiat casinos I have played at in that either you have to do the KYC before betting a single cent of real money or they let you bet a small amount but then you have to pass the KYC or they block your account and you can't continue betting until you pass it.

Why the hell wouldn't you be able to pass the KYC from the beginning?

When a user wins a huge amount the real nightmare starts, the users have to complete the worst KYC process he will see in his life, so, should users be afraid of getting a Max Win?

It should not be like that, nowadays KYC is easy to pass both in casinos and financial institutions in a matter of seconds with your passport and taking selfies or videos.

Casinos ask for KYC to avoid money laundering, but if the gambler isn't able to give the requested data then the casino keeps the money. If the casino keeps the money isn't that Money laundering?

That way of proceeding sounds more like a covert scam to me (not letting you do the KYC from the beginning, waiting until you have a big win and taking a long time to verify it).
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool Observer Topic on: May 07, 2024, 04:21:51 AM
The fees have come down quite a bit. It looks like the spammers have run out of either the desire or the money to overpay to get their images onto the blockchain. On the one hand it was clear that the most interesting thing for them was to put them in the halving blocks and nearby and on the other hand that the money does not last forever. Let's see if we get below 10 sats/vByte over the weekend.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake Monthly Bonus Calculator on: May 06, 2024, 01:31:33 PM
A calculator that is not from Stake's official website, but from a website that has developed it to get visitors, in principle cannot be completely reliable. I don't know how legitimate it is to advertise itself as "Stake calculator" if it is not accurate and has no relationship with Stake.com.
90  Other / Meta / Re: Locked threads on reputation board on: May 06, 2024, 01:25:55 PM
It is still unhandled. It seems that reporting does not help much in such cases.

I also reported it for the same reason and it is unhandled as well, just like other reports in the section. In my experience, moderators tend to take little action in that section, especially in cases like this. As it is a controversial section I imagine they fear a thread of complaint on Meta if they act.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker bot profiles on: May 06, 2024, 01:18:11 PM
I never understood Poker, may be I never was interested that's the reason. So my understanding of Poker and the entire industry is very poor. Reading your response it seems there are indeed a market for these bots and players are using it which felt strange to me LOL.

This ask me a question, is online Poker are popular at all? If there are bots instead of players then the real excitement for the game is not there. In a real Poker table the player plays for money and excitements but the audience enjoys it because they feel the emotion of their players. For a bot there will be no support at all :-D

Well, I'll sum it up for you. If you buy or program several bots (and you don't get caught) you can make a lot of money with no more effort or investment than the initial one. At the beginning the bots were very rudimentary and people like me who know how to play the game were able to win easily (the bots were only able to beat recreational players, also called "fish").

But they have been improving more and more, and with the use of AI I imagine that they are more and more indistinguishable from a good flesh and blood player.

So, if you buy or program several good bots you can make a lot of money. It would be something like being able to program several undetectable AIs that run Bitcointalk accounts and join signature campaigns.

As for whether it is popular, poker is becoming less and less popular. It boomed when Chris Monemaker, then an amateur, won the WSoP main event in 2003. His story became popular and made a lot of amateurs try it.

From then until Black Friday poker in 2011 the boom in popularity continued, and from then on it clearly declined. Regulations were introduced, with their taxes, which caused the houses to charge more rake and give less rakeback. Poker schools also became more popular, so the overall level went up and it became harder and harder to win. This made recreational players enjoy it less and less and look for other games, just as the houses themselves also encouraged them to try them. Even Pokerstars introduced casino games, something unthinkable in the golden age of poker.

The thing is that the houses prefer casino games because everyone is a net loser in the long run, while in poker, although the houses collect money from the commissions, the winning players withdraw money from the system, and they don't like that.

In online poker emotions do not matter. Those of us who play to win money try to stay away from them, and those who get carried away by emotions are fewer and fewer (especially compared to the golden era).
92  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: EU is set to delagalise decentralised mixers on: May 06, 2024, 01:04:00 PM
The future is that we are all KYCed. They're copying Xi Jin Ping's model.

I couldn't have summed it up better myself. That's the dream, or rather nightmare, that I have. And it involves going in the opposite direction for which Bitcoin was created. But the bad thing is that I see a majority of people who are going to embrace this willingly.
93  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Legendary Memeber defaulted 70$ Loan [agustina2] on: May 05, 2024, 05:26:35 AM
Shasan, why do you ignore such warnings when giving out loans?

Maybe because those feedback are 8 years old and two of them are untrusted?

This account shouldn't have got any money from you. Not even a sat. Especially when they were not participating in any signature campaign.

This does seem to me to be a compelling reason.

Sometimes I see loans in the lending section that I don't understand, they seem to me like a bomb ready to explode, and in this case I'm not saying it for Shasan, but that's up to them, the one who lends the money and the one who receives it.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 05:17:08 AM
Dream on, OP. It's like asking if states can stop collecting taxes. The direction we're going is the opposite: states are increasingly taxing more and more, just as they are increasingly attacking privacy. We have no reason to think they are going to reverse their decision and start doing the opposite.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden Final Warning for Bitcoin on: May 05, 2024, 05:10:18 AM
Aside from the technical issue, here's what happens:

Turning Bitcoin into a privacy coin would lead to a mass government ban of BTC around the world.
The BTC price would most likely go back to the levels before 2015. I'm sure that 90% of the Bitcoin investors don't want this to happen.
They prefer big profits over privacy. I kinda understand them. Bitcoin being a speculative financial asset with a potential future price of 100K USD(or even more) is way more exciting than BTC being a privacy coin used only by shady people and criminals, with a price in the range of 100USD-1000USD. Achieving full privacy in the modern day internet is almost impossible.

If that were to happen, which is not going to happen, as things are now, the Bitcoin would only be used to buy stuff on the deep web and today it would not even be used to bet in casinos, since there are hardly any unlicensed casinos left, and with all the cryptocurrency alternatives there are, they would be forced not to accept bitcoin.

Make that 2011 as getting restrictions after being accepted will be one hundred times worse than when it was just a gray area.

Something like that.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy a Bonus VS playing Slot on normal Spin - which do you prefer? on: May 04, 2024, 05:02:59 AM
... I won a total of $54 dollars, I was super happy, I paused play for a while, thinking whether to continue to stop and withdraw that money, $54 wasnt my target, I was hoping for more, I wanted to try and see if I can win big money like the testimonies I often read online and on this forum, I was anxious for maybe a $100k or more win,

How are you going to win $100K starting from $54 playing slots? Even if the machine gives those prizes the probability is so small that you can spend your life betting without winning. It's a 20,000x, but if we think that you said you were making $0.20 bets, and you didn't say you were going to change the bet size, even more difficult.

...I ended the call, and decided to do some research before deciding whether to buy bonus or not, and from what I realized, many buy bonus, and still end up losing, that simply means that, buying a bonus is guarantee for a win in slot game, I decide not to buy any bonus, I continued with normal Spin and unfortunately, I ended up losing around $47 dollars, I managed to withdraw $5 to my wallet from the $54 dollar win. 😭 By the way, I started the game with around $2 deposit 🤣.

So, I am here to ask, buying a bonus and playing on normal spins in slot game, which so far, has been more profitable for or to you?

When I have played slots I have done the same. I play as normal and since every once in a while they give you free spins I don't buy any bonus.
97  Other / Meta / Re: Locked threads on reputation board on: May 04, 2024, 04:52:38 AM
If in the end such a measure ended up being taken I don't think it would be a solution either, as someone who didn't want comments in their thread apart from their accusation and bumping it could make it self moderated and delete all replies, or the ones they don't like, which I wouldn't be surprised if Fuckingretardedraccer did.

So if measures were to be taken I think there would have to be two, not allowing lock threads in the section (at least with less than x comments) and not allowing self-moderated threads, as happens in Meta.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 04, 2024, 04:44:21 AM
I prefer laptop. Most sites are adapted to cell phones and I see mostly young people betting with them but I prefer the wide screen of a computer. And if you want to play poker seriously it is a must to be able to play several tables and run the necessary software, like PTR. But even when I have played casino games, such as slots, which you can do quietly from the mobile, I have preferred laptop.
99  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: EU is set to delagalise decentralised mixers on: May 04, 2024, 04:35:00 AM
You seem to be the one who understands the legislation best, d5000.

This EU AML directive reform will come into force in 2027.

Hopefully it will take a little longer. It would not be the first time that a moratorium is put in place because of how slow and inefficient the administration is, or even that legislation enters into force but in practice takes longer to implement.

I think here you confused two numbers. The 10.000 € are a hard limit for (single) cash payments, and from 3.000 € on KYC has to be conducted on them. In addition, there is some due diligence which has to be done by obliged subjects if they detect a non-cash transaction of 10.000 € or more (or several linked transactions, i.e. if somebody sends two times 9999 euros the same day or one day later to the same bank account).

Well, for nuance that is the upper limit for the whole EU. In Greece the cash limit payment is 500 euros (lol), in France and Spain it is 1,000, while in Belgium and Portugal it is 3,000.

With this, I am not so much concerned about the immediate future but where we are headed.
100  Economy / Reputation / Re: Likely low quality poster alts. on: May 03, 2024, 01:54:10 PM
Netral tag + report moderator = Case closed

Nor was I going to do that. I have two of the 4 quoted in the OP on ignore. I was simply going to put the other two on ignore as well, but I didn't know about polo7 being a scammer with an active flag against him.

Maybe even negative since he used one of his alt accounts to promote a ponzi scheme.

The quotes I have posted are not conclusive, they are just circumstantial evidence, but in the case of Polo7back I think he could be red tagged because he is so dumb that he used that nick (who else would use that nick?).

If we look at the threads opened by Polo7 in Economics they are of the same style:

World is investing more money in Military coz They know this Military is needed to making sure we Still have law and order.

As They will not quut the debt system as its so good and profitable the World governments either can increase the spending on police and Military.
We the people just need to get use to with crisis
As whole world economy is turned into gigant casino but... Hey They can print more money
And by speculating on the markets many people can be Rich

I think the hyperinflation not a problem.
The solution is crisis.
I guess every year or so plus government can do debt forgiveness and complete restart.
Universal income also

Its just After 10 years crisis get use to it then Everything will start Again...
The Fiat currencies are so great that Elite Don't have really Plan to kill Fiat currencies.

Im sure the Trump and Elite like the World how it is.
Also I Don't complain either the money printing makes cryptocurrency going up too.
So I think the debt and this money printing is beneficial.

And I think the Old way let it be... After 10years just little crisis then it will start like new game.
They have now strong aml kyc Rules all over the World so They can track the money and too much money can be eliminated and inflation rate will be normal Again.

Off Course people complain but this sysyem keeping capitalism going on and people with skills will just serve people who Got capital.

And bitcoin will be just instutionlized.
If you know the game you can be good Player in this Economic game..
