There have been three testnet releases since. They are flagged as pre release. Use the release that is marked "current release" in github, which is 12.3.0. The script is correct.

HOw is this related to the LFE token , or is it not at all ?

Not at all. Why did you think it is?

The website claims they current have 450 Game Supported on Platform
and
has 770% player increase since 2015.

  • Anyone know how many player on their Platform in 2017?
  • What is the average online time for each Player?
  • What is the average revenue for each Player and Game Partner?

Seems their whitepaper doesn't provide everything...

Sure would be nice if they engaged us on here with some answers to these questions.

A telegram group posted it.. maybe just pumping the coin.. Probably the same thing about the fork then..

Jesus, is that fork still happening?  I'd much rather see a developer take over and do some work on this chain rather than fork...

"The World's Only Crypto-Ready iGaming Platform" - Seriously? The only one?  Grin

This has some potential, but 25k as an initial investment is too high of a risk.  Plus there is another crypto gaming platform I support and I bet it will be ready before you guys roll out......so.

25k is only during the presale.  There is no minimum in the next phase.

Are you sure that the other project will be ready first?  These guys have been operating since 2012 so have a big head start in terms of the gaming side...they already have numerous gaming businesses using their platform. The crypto layer is actually the easiest bit...

CROWNFUNDING - A THANK YOU

Hi everyone,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your immense support and incredible generosity. Our crownfunding request reached 100% of its goal within the first 24 hours. It shows the passion that our community has for this project that we hold so dearly.

Let's start off by saying we're knee deep in non-disclosure agreements. We would love nothing more than to tell you who it is we're partnering with, but unfortunately we can't yet.

However, we can inform you that the crownfunding was started to generate funds for listings on NEW MAJOR EXCHANGES and some smaller exchanges that we see growth potential with too.

There is one exchange in particular we're already in discussions with, but any overflow will go into as many quality listings on major exchanges as possible. That is why the Crown team have decided to leave the donations page open for the time being. We cannot go into specific details but many of the major exchanges require large fees for a listing, regardless of project size or volume.

On a personal note, I often see community members asking if we are trying to be listed on certain exchanges.  I wish I was able to respond but I cannot due to the various non disclosure agreements that I have signed. However, I assure you that I read and absorb all suggestions so please keep them coming.

The process of exchange listings can take up to 3 months, so please bear with us as we work on this.

We will, as always, do our best to provide you with as many updates as possible.

THANK YOU

The entire Crown Core Team

I do not believe that they have any intention to offer decentralised unregulated gambling services.  What have you read to make you think this?

Everything I have read so far indicates that they are using this token as a convenient means of payment and transparent method of proving fairness and audit accountability within their current gaming infrastructure.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CBC] CashBet Coin Pre-Sale Sale Live on: January 25, 2018, 05:59:24 PM
So a company that believes in the decentralisation of gambling is raising an ICO and is using its own platform that completely relies upon a regulated and centralised system in order to do that. Makes any sense to literally anyone to invest in this? Surely not. The owning business is in the USA, i'd like to see them take one solitary bet officially through this platform in the States - just one spin of a casino reel - in order to prove that they will be ok from their own piece-of-mind to break US law for this business to be successful. The entire gambling industry is currently spending billions to lobby the US federal government to allow gambling and somehow cashbet - who clearly understand from their own business model in Europe that they need to be regulated - think they can skip past this? No, of course they don't think that. They basically expect mugs with little knowledge or oversight of the intricacies of gambling and its legalities to invest in this "gold-rush" scheme. The biggest online casino market on earth is China and they are nailing crypto's to wall at the moment so and with the US market not being touched why would you bother investing in a scheme where the founders would not dare touch any regulated, licensed or banned countries with their platform, as they would actually be in contravention of their own licensing laws. I am actually going to take this up with the Alderney Gambling commission where Cashbet holds its licensing as I am quite sure by promoting non-licensed gambling they are in breach of their terms of holding that license. Guys, wake up and smell the coffee Cashbet are looking for a quick buck from us. Projects like Gnosis and Augur have tremendous merit but this is an utter sham. What Arsenal were thinking to allow these guys a sponsorship deal is utterly surreal.

PayPal can be reversed and takes days to credit winnings to your account. Using crypto brings benefits to punters.

Any concerns about KYC are pointless. Cashbet is an established and popular gambling platform. They have to adhere to the terms of their licensing. If you don't like KYC, then you are free to gamble elsewhere.

For me, an ICO with a token that will have uses and benefits to an already existing and growing  user base is quite exciting. Cashbet isn't a new company...they already have skin into the game. How many ICOs can boast that?

What are the recommended specs for Systemnodes Linux VPS?

In digital ocean you can do with their 5$ plan.
However, you need around 600-700 MB of ram - so 1024MB recommended (but with 512 + vswap you could manage).

Other than that, +10GB of HDD/SDD and you should be good to go!

Check out node-vps.com or https://crownvps.com/ for a hassle free setup.

Guide to do it yourself can be found here;
https://forum.crown.tech/index.php?topic=13.0

Just so you know, DO have upgraded the spec of their $5 droplets to 1GB

Aamjanta and Scamalert0 is this person on twitter: https://twitter.com/maanoman

He used his real name on Twitter until I doxxed him a few months ago.  He was rather embarrassed when I managed to prove that he was claiming that a coin was about to be delisted from Bittrex using one account and was talking about buying the same project with another account.

Stop quoting him, stop responding to him.  Be assured that it must be a miserable life to try to scrape a living by behaving like this, knowing that people pity him whenever they see his bullshit claims.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: January 05, 2018, 11:55:13 AM
The paranoia runs pretty strong in that dude. A lot of coins get pumped and dumped on exchanges all the time. I wouldn't take it personally. Stonehenge has a good idea to go and start a new project based off this code. Starting fresh can help get your head straight and bring some positive things to your lives.

Yup.  If you don't like the way people are playing the game, pick up your ball and go and play according to your own rules rather than whining about things outside of your control.

MATTERMOST OUTAGE

A problem at OVH has caused Mattermost to fail.

It should be available again before 2130 UK time.

Service restored.

A very useful test of my backup restore process Cheesy

I put this warning in the main thread here:

Warning about trading or investing in Spreadcoin.

Since this is a takeover of a previously abandoned project, it shows an extremely centralized coin distribution in the hands of just a few people.
This has lead to multiple ongoing Pump'n'dumps and Exit Scams started by those very people during the last months.

So trade and invest with caution.

(georgem, January the 3rd, 2018)

Is there any reason why you still need SPR to develop your ideas?  You have been working in isolation for several years now so you no doubt have some cool features to release pretty soon. There is nothing you can do to change the distribution or discourage the unethical people manipulating Spreadcoin.

Why not launch a new project from Block 0 and formally abandon SPR?  I can't see how you can change any of the things you have a strong objection too.   You can always continue to spray blame in the direction of Bittrex, HLM, CRW, your old colleagies and anything else you choose to blame for things you don't like....but why not just start afresh?

I refused to take any further part in SPR and decided to not take part in HLM because I did not agree with what they are doing...why are you still here?!

Did you just admit that you invested in Spreadcoin for non-genuine reasons?

Can you explain your logic?  I'm not sure I understand.

Also, how convenient is it that this BitcoinSpread-Fork just appeared a few days ago, and how funny that you suggest I take a look at it.
How fucking convenient.  Cheesy

Funnily enough, I only know about the Bitcoin Spread fork because a member of the HLM community asked me if I thought there was a chance that you were behind it! For what its worth, I said I doubted it very much.

Ok, this sounds very interesting. However, I've been in crypto long enough (4 years today, as it happens - happy anniversary me) to be cautious. I don't question the integrity of the Crown team, but I don't like the total lack of information around this. At the very least, I don't know whether it's a viable business proposition, or aligns with my interests/ethics, whether the other people involved are trustworthy, and so on.
Is there some kind of balance it's possible to strike here? For example, would you be prepared to give more information on a private, one-to-one basis, if assurances of confidentiality could be given? Or could a couple of trusted community members be given more information, which would allow them to give a broad-strokes picture to everyone else?

Hi Cassius, firstly I can't dispute your feeling of being cautious.  As a crypto veteran myself I have seen fenough scams or broken promises to approach things like this in the same way.  I personally, and the team more generally, agonised and debated whether we were doing the right thing to make an announcement like this and we eventually decided that it was indeed the right thing to do.

Ultimately, I am staking my reputation on this and that is a big deal for me.

I think you are right, I should reveal more information ASAP if I possibly can.  Either to trusted community members or a more generalised statement to the community itself.

Let me have a think about how I can do this safely.

Thanks Stonehedge.
I think it would be possible to give some general information that would help people make a decision without revealing any deal-breakers. For example:
What's the general sector? Adult, gambling? Or Transport, IT, security etc.
What will the funds be used for? Marketing? An integration for a specific client? Or purchasing a licence that is necessary to operate in a particular area?
More broadly, are the funds necessary for something that absolutely cannot be done on a volunteer basis by suitably qualified community members giving time/expertise instead of money?
You're pretty close to the goal

I trust our dev team.We are in good shape only thanks them. They ficked blockchain very quckly and everyone of them working very hard on improving CROWN. If we are strong comunuty we should help them doing their job. I personaly donate already and I expect everyone can send something.

LOL.  We both fucked the blockchain and fixed it Wink

Thank you everybody for their generosity and support.  It means a lot.

Just a quick informal follow on.  I recognise that this sort of request is unusual for the CRW team and marks a significant departure from our usual approach.  However, we genuinely are *this* excited.

I have donated $33k from my personal funds to get the ball rolling.

Donations will be private unless otherwise requested.

CROWNFUNDING: EXCITING TIMES AHEAD!

Crown is ripe to expand in certain areas, and a huge opportunity to do just that has presented itself.

For legal reasons we can’t disclose the details, but we are very excited, and you should be too. Expect some big news in the next two to three months.

In order to make this happen, USD 100k needs to be raised. We firmly believe that this news is of enormous value to the project.

What can you do?

The Community is invited to contribute to this effort. Donations in either CRW or BTC (the payment will be made in BTC) can be sent until january 15th to this address:

FAQ:

But $100k is a lot of money?

We completely agree. At Crown we work responsibly into growing a sustainable platform. We are aware of our resources, and put a lot of effort into making decisions that help grow the project. We feel that this is one of those decisions.
In other words: Yes, this will be that big!

Why isn't this coming from the dev fund or the proposal system?

The development fund is, as it says on the tin, for funding the development of roadmap items.  This opportunity was unexpected and not part of our budget for 2018. The proposal system is full of important community activities and we do not want to impact that by requesting such a large amount of money.

Should we surpass the set goal because of extra donations or a BTC/USD price increase, any surplus funds will go towards similar goals, about which we will of course be as transparent as possible.

Who is responsible for the fund?

Our long-standing team member Dan Ames (stonehedge) will manage the fund and will be responsible for handling the process. All coin movements will be accounted for publicly.

When do I find out what this mystery is about?

We can’t say for certain, but we expect that the process will take 2-3 months after the funding requirements have been met.
