81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Equilibrium Pattern Will Lead to Violent Move on: December 12, 2019, 08:05:29 PM
As the triangle gets squeezed, it will have to break one way or the other. We just don’t know which way it will go.

We actually breached the range low yesterday, no breakout.

So technically the equilibrium pattern might be invalidated. It's no longer a contracting triangle.

We could keep building out a descending triangle though. That's usually perceived as a bearish pattern, though I've never seen compelling backtesting data to support that.

On Binance, the low of $7067 was held at $7080, so the triangle still works there and it's basically a double bottom.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Equilibrium Pattern Will Lead to Violent Move on: December 11, 2019, 05:22:46 PM

in other words, we're looking at a contracting range. it might just stay sideways and build out a triangle. for now, all eyes are on $7087 and $7772 (bitstamp) for a breakout.

the measured move target for an upside break is the $8500 area. a downside break is less predictable. the $6k area would be my first guess.

Yep, that's exactly the pattern, I don't know if it's going to break to the upside or not but it's going to be a big break.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STPT is up by 135% in the Last 2 Months on: December 11, 2019, 01:12:14 PM
I don't have STPT in my portfolio but I have read a few posts about it. It is nice to see an altcoin that looks legit enough gain some ground in the ranks. Although it is still far from recovering its initial price, at least it has gained some nice growth. Those who purchased STPT during the initial exchange launching are still losing and have yet to receive a good profit. Bittrex is a nice exchange with probably the least faked volume but it is sad that it also means it has a very low volume in there, at least a couple of thousand dollars.

The initial price of tokens is always really high due to being new, either way, the team running the platform is committed to the project, they wouldn't have locked their tokens for 6 more months if they wanted to just get a quick profit out of the project. They have also announced the launch of the STP Ecosystem (https://medium.com/@StandardTokenizationProtocol/introducing-the-stp-ecosystem-84491865a775), which counts with pretty big partners like Ontology, BitMax, Block72 and many others.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Projects below $5 mio marketcap? on: December 11, 2019, 02:18:34 AM
Standard Tokenization Protocol (STPT) for sure. It's not under $5 million right now because of a recent bull run but it's still a great prospect for the long term.  CryptoBriefing did a Technical Analysis for it and they concluded that its short and medium terms are still really bullish. It is one of the few cryptos in a daily uptrend right now.

Additionally, the team of STPT made an announcement stating that their tokens will be locked for 6 more months, huge news for traders and investors in the long and short terms.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STPT is up by 135% in the Last 2 Months on: December 11, 2019, 02:14:40 AM
but still -70% from ROI , i dont understand what that mean , up almost 135% but didn't get ROI , are the coinmarketcap give the wrong info about it ? i just curious btw.

If that's correct then this coin is still bad, I'm checking the graph now and it's ATH was $0.084 while its trading volume that time was over $3 million compared to the current price now which is only $0.01 and trading volume of almost $300K, maybe in short term there's an increase but let's see if this continues to rise and its volume will also rise.

The ATH was $0.084 back in June when the whole crypto market was in a massive bull run, that's why the volume was also so high, it's not really meaningful. The -70% ROI is also not very meaningful, other coins on CMC have similar stats, check Ontology (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ontology/) or Vechain (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/vechain/) They both have negative ROI.
86  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Equilibrium Pattern Will Lead to Violent Move on: December 11, 2019, 01:56:56 AM
https://www.coincurb.com/news/bitcoin-daily-equilibrium-pattern-confirmed-what-next/

Bitcoin has confirmed a Daily Equilibrium pattern. This pattern is created when an asset sets a lower high and then a higher low, it's basically like a triangle sideways. As the range tightens more and more, the asset eventually breaks out, bearish or bullish. Right now, the bears have the upper hand but that could still change.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STPT is up by 135% in the Last 2 Months on: December 10, 2019, 04:12:59 PM
Hmm... that is interesting. And it comes from Bittrex trading volume. I have the perception that Bittrex has the least manipulated trading volume, compared to the others like HitBTC and Kucoin. Thanks for sharing, it could be a good sign for all altcoins.

It's hard to say which exchanges are actually faking their volume. Some of the reports by Bitwise have been greatly exaggerated, in my opinion at least. According to the current statistics and reports, Bittrex does seem to be among the ones that don't fake their volume.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / STPT is up by 135% in the Last 2 Months on: December 10, 2019, 03:53:00 PM
Standard Tokenization Protocol (STPT) is outperforming the market by a lot. While most of the major cryptocurrencies are slowing down and trading sideways for the last 2 weeks, STPT continues to set higher highs in a daily uptrend.

The weekly chart on Bittrex (STPT/BTC) shows an uptrend that has been confirmed. The bulls are currently trading above the 12-period EMA and they are looking to set a higher low eventually.

CryptoBriefing seems to agree, their analysis shows that STPT is bullish in the short and medium-terms.

Who in his right mind would vote for Warren or even Biden? The guy can't even form proper sentences.

I agree. Let's disqualify everyone who can't form proper sentences.

90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] WILL TRUMP BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM? on: December 07, 2019, 11:00:59 AM
It was a fluke that Trump won in the first place. He lost the popular vote by the biggest margin ever for a "winning" president. The dem candidates may be soft but they aren't as galvanizing as Hillary was. Biden, the likely winner of the primary, just has to show up to the debates and hold his ground, and Trump will be out. A lot of people like yours truly were in the "Never Hillary" camp. You don't hear dem-leaning voters proclaiming themselves to be "Never Biden." Its just not a thing. There's also no

Never Bernie
Never Warren
Never Buttiegieg

camps. The only candidate disliked more than Trump by America was Hillary (which itself is arguable seeing as how she won the popular vote), and she's not running this time around. A large contingency of Republican voters are going to sit the next one out. Trump as a president certainly is nothing to write home about.

Do you want someone else to win just because you dislike Trump or do you want someone else to win to do better things? People really need to think about their reasons.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 07, 2019, 08:46:33 AM
I would be careful with how much you invest into BNB. It's whole concept revolves around one central place, Binance. If something happens to Binance, then you're more than likely left holding a bag of coins that are worthless. I would try to hold a majority of portfolio in Bitcoin/Ethereum. They'll rise in price also and it's much safer than holding onto something that is vulnerable.

Well, that's not a great argument. It's true that BNB depends only on Binance but that's just like stocks, if you invest in Apple and the company dies, then all your shares will be useless, it's not necessarily a bad thing unless you think the company is going down. I personally want to invest in cryptocurrencies that have a strong team and company/platform behind them, sure if the platform itself doesn't succeed, then the coin/token will not succeed either but that's how it works.

I personally think that STPT is a great prospect as it has a market cap smaller than $10 million but a strong team behind the project and a great platform overall. You can stake your STPT to get rewarded in other coins or participate in Micro Token Offerings which are great for small investors looking for big profits. They have recently announced a couple of good news like new advisors and an extended token lock.
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] WILL TRUMP BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM? on: December 07, 2019, 08:12:56 AM
Well, hopefully, Trump wins, the other candidates are absolute garbage lol. Who in his right mind would vote for Warren or even Biden? The guy can't even form proper sentences.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Standard Tokenization Protocol New Advisor Announcement Series: Kenneth Oh on: December 06, 2019, 09:47:26 PM

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with staking program should influence decentralization. on: December 05, 2019, 09:23:14 PM
STP network is a decentralized platform that offers staking. You can stake their STPT token and earn rewards in other tokens. https://stp.network/

It's also open-source, anyone can check it for themselves, it's a great platform overall. They also conduct Micro token offerings from time to time, those can be really profitable btw.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins under 10 mio marketcap (with a team after the coin) has potential? on: December 05, 2019, 08:57:37 PM
https://stp.network/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stpt/

It's currently at 7 million market cap, I have been promoting it for some time, it has a team, a really strong and hard-working team. They have recently announced they will be locking their tokens for 6 more months which tells you they are serious about it, not one of those pump and dump projects. They conduct Micro Token Offerings too which is great for small investors. Check it out!
96  Economy / Service Discussion / STP Network Tokenomics: Extended Token Lock on: December 05, 2019, 03:42:25 PM
https://medium.com/@StandardTokenizationProtocol/stp-network-tokenomics-extended-token-lock-e20530d0769c

100% of STPT tokens held in Reserve and Team wallets will remain locked for an additional 6 months and there will be ZERO increases in circulating supply during this time!

Token Release Schedule Change: All reserve tokens set to be unlocked starting January 2020 will instead be fully locked until July 2020 and then unlocked quarterly over 3 years. This does not affect Round 1 or Round 2 investor tokens, which have already been fully distributed.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / STP Network Extending the Token Lock, Huge News (STPT +9%) on: December 05, 2019, 01:16:55 PM

Anyone that knows STP, knows this is huge. The price of STPT is already reacting positively to the news with an almost 10% surge within a few hours. If you haven't heard about them, they have conducted a few MTO (Micro Token Offerings). After the MTO, the APM coin saw a huge surge in price, almost everyone that participated got a huge profit from it.

98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is still really bullish (Unpopular opinion) on: December 05, 2019, 02:03:54 AM
If we just look at last 12 months or so then it's still bullish but that's not same for those who have invested in bitcoin while the value was at peak around December 2017
Right, and I've no doubt there are a lot of people who bought in at the top and have probably sold at a loss.  And yes, whether the market is bullish or not depends on the time frame you're looking at.  The mood right now is kind of blah IMO.  There's no bullish momentum, that's for sure but nor is there any bearish momentum.  The bitcoin market is just idling like it tends to do in between huge spikes or dips.

So I'd disagree with OP's assertion that the bitcoin market is "really bullish".  Compare where it's at now to times when the price was in an upward trend--2013 & 2017 are great examples of that.  If you're using those two years as reference points, it's hard to say that bitcoin stuck at $7300 after falling from $9500 isn't anything bullish.

You got the topic wrong my friend
Of course he did, because he's just writing a generic shitpost for whatever bounty he's in (I've got signatures and avatars blocked, so I can't see what he's advertising).

Edit:  Oh, it's the cryptotalk.org campaign.  No wonder he's just jabbering on.

Using specific points in time is meaningless, in my opinion. Looking at the overall timeframe, anyone can clearly see Bitcoin is in a pretty strong uptrend.

99  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Billionaire vs Billionaire in the US 2020 Presidential Elections. on: December 01, 2019, 01:59:13 PM
Elections are about the ignorant populace voting for a king.

Most people wish they were rich... at least a little wealthier than they are. And many of them - especially among the democrats - hate people who are extremely wealthy. But here all the wealthy-haters are, voting for a wealthy king.

What a bunch of ignoramuses. They will get what they ask for.

Cool

I'm also pretty sure people think being a billionaire means you are a genius but that's not always the case. You can actually become a billionaire without having to be a genius or even that smart.
100  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin is still really bullish (Unpopular opinion) on: November 27, 2019, 11:26:57 PM
https://www.coincurb.com/news/bitcoin-long-term-is-really-bullish-and-analysts-are-ignoring-it/

I explain my reasoning a little bit better in the article but long story short, I think, no, I know Bitcoin is bullish long term. Has anyone looked at the monthly chart recently? How is that not bullish? Why are all 'analysts' ignoring it just because Bitcoin is down to 7k? Who cares, it was 3k at the beginning of 2019, Bitcoin is currently 2x higher than 10 months ago, that's bearish? Ok.
