Really wish I could buy a coupon, mate.  But after reading Amazon's TOS, the gamble is just too high; risking such an insane amount against a personal credit card.  I've heard horrible stories where people had been charged hundreds after buying similar credit :\
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you suspect a Ponzi disguised as cloud mining... on: December 11, 2016, 06:43:41 AM
I feel like you're just baiting people to ask what site you're using, so you can either profit off their referrals or take their money personally (if it is your site).  How can your balance grow so quickly, in such a short period of time?  And obviously the answer to your poll would be 'yes'....
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: December 08, 2016, 04:06:41 AM
ARDR - still can't withdraw it from my NXT wallet :\

My desktop client never syncs, and any web node I try connecting to never accepts the withdrawal - I'll enter an address & my password, but the site just never refreshes.

If I update to the latest NXT version, I shouldn't lose my old account data, right?
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WayaWolfCoin (WW) on: December 08, 2016, 03:58:51 AM
How did this get such widespread approval from bitcointalk, and exchanges, since it is a free walletbuilders coin?

I've been working towards my first altcoin for weeks now, and seeing this just makes me sad...are people just accepting free pre-built alts as valuable?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PHO Photon blake256- MERGE MINE 6 COINS- NO PREMINE - TRADING ON EXCHANGES on: December 06, 2016, 08:32:01 PM
Trying to build this on Win 7 - fixed a few errors, all was going well until:

Code:
Makefile.Release:66603: recipe for target 'build/splashscreen.o' failed
mingw32-make: *** [build/splashscreen.o] Error 1

Any clue as to what's causing this?
86  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU\NL] Ubuntu 16.04 bootable USB stick 64 bit. on: December 04, 2016, 08:19:27 PM
It takes less than five minutes to download the ISO and mount ot using Rufus or another mounting tool. The ISO is completely free.

So $12 for a USB? No thanks.

Not to mention any....'undesireable' tools the OP might/could have load onto the stick Smiley

Yo McKnight, where'd you run off to this time?

Did I win the video contest also?!

89  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Live!] FaucetHub.io - Your microwallet on: December 01, 2016, 06:40:55 AM
Seen the withdrawal fees  Shocked Huh Shocked

They are huge.
Do you think there're so many stupids to bear them?

LOL bro, do you even exchange?

The highest withdraw fee is BTC0.00002000, and that fee decreases if you choose to wait for a larger withdraw amount.  Wanna withdraw bitcoin from YoBit?  That'll be BTC0.00050000 - fixed.

And yes, there ARE that many stupids to bear YoBit's exchange  Grin
The bigger withdraw they do, the more they help sustain the service Smiley Site wont be paying too much for fees
I mean, what's gonna change their life if they don't withdraw 20k today and they withdraw 50k tomorrow, or even more after a few more days.

Let him be important for 5 minutes ;p

Fine, fine....fixed my mistakes, all hail yurka5356 for bringing this information to the public.  faucethub confirmed for scam  Cheesy

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: December 01, 2016, 05:19:30 AM
i want to buy some esp, how much is the price now?

Why don't you just look on the exchange, takes less time to check than to post. Yep and would have took me less time to just tell you than to ask why you did not look for yourself :p

@exchange? what exchange? coinexcange.io? Smiley)) 1 sat... nah..

ESP is traded on Novaexchange also.

In regards to your "1 sat... nah.." comment...

ESP, along with ESPv1, has always been mainly paired to LTC.  Currently around ~.00000060 LTC / 1 ESP.  If you had looked at the OP, you'd see there were originally 500 BILLION ESP to be had - which should not cause anyone to scoff at a 1 satoshi price.

Also,

i will waiting because unable to believe with it

just wait and see guys

Bro, if you're going to farm accounts, I suggest you don't use both in the same thread...especially one right after the other.  Your post history is almost identical in behavior...better be more careful in the future  Roll Eyes

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VESERUS || New Exchange Platform || ICO IPO CF Specialisation || RECRUITMENT on: November 30, 2016, 02:43:35 AM
Hi,

I'd like to apply for the Social manager/Word bearer position.  Please PM me or reply here with contact information so that we could pursue this further Smiley

Cheers!

edit: please contact me ASAP - the language in the rules/etc. images posted here require immediate revision!  People reading these rules will be put off by a negative tone, despite your true intentions.  For example, your ICO/IPO/CF RULES (II) may turn people away, as the language used makes it seem like a coin creator must hand over all rights of their work to Veserus (although this is not the case).

Improvement can start from this very thread!

Deciding on whether or not to buy one now...hey OP, you said I should PM you? I just got a message from you saying you stocked up, which brought me here now Smiley

Regardless, I'll update this thread (since it is unmoderated) to let others know if this is legit!
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☣ iWalletCoin ☣ IW ☣ PoW/PoS ☣ Campaign ☣ X11 ☣ on: November 29, 2016, 08:22:12 PM
I'm pretty much a noob at mining, so was surprised that this worked after my first try pointing a single 750ti 2gb @ the cryptomine pool.  Is this correct, just throwing in my IW address with the usual pass 'x'  ?  Thanks:

Could someone suggest which difficulty to use?  Or is it balanced out some other way if no config is added in?

Another thing I noticed - look at the time between hits, some take forever while others are twice as fast...

edit: as I type this, the difficulty is readjusting every round - but the time between blocks is still very random.  Why is this?  Just curious

Thanks in advance for the help!

Any other pools besides Cryptopia? The pool in OP is down for maintenance.

What's the latest/best running windows miner?  I have a GTX750ti...seems to like quark & qubit coins Smiley thanks in advance!
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 28, 2016, 06:19:39 AM
"Full POS"

I havent seen staking in effect once....I've been on wallet v2 since last update, and wasn't staking supposed to take effect on November 19th....?
99  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I told you so. on: November 28, 2016, 03:48:44 AM
It looks like things are working out pretty well. Sorry to bump such an old one, but it's interesting to see how far we've come.

Wow, thanks for bumping this - never would have seen it otherwise.

All of these people investing in mining rigs accumulating thousands of BTCs are eventually going to decide enough is enough and the end will come VERY quickly if there are no stores operating only on bitcoin[............]Lets be honest, there’s a chance that you’ll get rich with your BTC sitting there, but it’s remote.

Oh god, I don't know how to even react to this....but aside from that, I wonder how his site is holding up these days?  Roll Eyes
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ZLQ] Zlitequbit - Why has the project been shut down?? on: November 28, 2016, 03:21:21 AM
ZLQ was a new coin, launched November 8th with PoW & an airdrop.  Less than TWO WEEKS later, the thread was locked on November 21st.

All the github code has also been deleted. My wallet (with no added nodes) only has one connection - 94.23.102.99:5466 (you are a saint)

Here is the Announcement thread where it states "closed due to lack of interest by the community"

Trapsy's last few posts include 'we need to slowly build a community'; we've received a ton of PMs by members interested in joining the team'...but the kicker is this:

Quote
It's not my fault if i spent 2 days answering hundreds pm,checking all fake entries from airdrop, receiving multiple time stress question like "when you sent airdrop? "when give me the coin"."am i entered" and then everyone disappeared and sell on market.

1600 user received free coin. Want to give value? Help with promotion, enjoy team, tell us what are you skills and what you can do.
But not like " great project, i want to take part of team, give me btc so i can work".
You deserve ICO next time, not free coin.
source

I was one of those members who offered to help - and obviously not the only one.  Was this the dev's first coin, to be surprised that a ton of users dumped their airdropped coins?  That is an issue every airdrop coin faces, but that rarely kills the project outright.  Followed by what seems to be a reversal on the whole 'a ton of members offered to help'.  Only TWO WEEKS and this is what killed it?  Many coins don't take off/grow popular for weeks/months!

Anyone have a clue what happened here?  Is there an alternate motive being played by the dev, or was he simply butthurt that people dumped their free coins?  It doesn't make sense...sure it was another altcoin, but I was adamant on joining a team behind the project with hopes that it would grow....

Thanks in advance for any input Undecided
