Suicide is not the answer dude, you will just give more problems to the loved ones that you will be leaving and their grief.
It's never the answer so forget about that, it ain't a solution, it's an escape. I've seen a lot of threads here talking about gambling addiction. If I were you I would try to read them all so that you might forget about gambling for now. Who knows, maybe that is all the help that you need so that your attention will deviated.
Stopping is not easy, but one thing I have seen from those who succesfully did it, they made a new hobby.
So, ask yourself, what else do you love doing in your life? Painting? Sports? Online gaming? There's so many things out there, or you could just simply watch TV series and finish them all, I bet your lifetime won't be enough to complete all the different TV series in US.  Cheesy
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone be a Bitcoin speculation expert? on: January 18, 2024, 04:24:20 PM
Keyword: Volatility. While Bitcoin is still unpredictable, there's no way anyone could have an accurate prediction of it's market movements.
Speculating. That's all we can do and it's our right to express our opinion. I've seen Bitcoin traders who thinks that way but it's only for short term prediction. Well, they must do that if they want to make profits in trading paired with a stablecoin but ask them about long-term then they will also have just a pretty guess.
We could guess all we want and some investors might believe us but the market of Bitcoin fluctuates without any warning, it's just following the demand and supply rule but there are times it will reflect late which is why a correction happens.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 18, 2024, 12:01:01 PM
Pistons are on par with being the WORST team in NBA history. Their current win percentage stands at 0.098 and the worst ever was set by the Bobcats in 2011-12 where they managed to attain a win percentage of only 0.106 for the entire season. Keep in mind that Pistons have already achieved the longest loss streak at 28 losses in the row, this season. We are witnessing history in the making folks.

It's worth noting that the 11-12 regular season was shorter than usual due to the lockout. So, the Bobcats could have had a slightly higher winning percentage if that regular season had been 82 games. I mean, now the Pistons really could be called the worst team in NBA history. By the way, they have played exactly half of the games of the regular season and have only 4 wins.
History after history is being broken. Cheesy Pistons needs some overhaul on that team. But if you look at the paper, they do not look like the worst team.
Cade Cunnigham
Bojan Bogdanovic
Monte Morris
Isaiah Stewart
Jaden Ivey
Alec Burks
Killian Hayes
Mike Muscala
Most players are known as good bench players and some made their names in the basketball industry. Bojan did great to break their losing streak, Alec Burks made some pretty good buzzer beater last time, and Jaden Ivey can score quite a lot if he wants to. Some says they should hire Bill Laimbeer as the new head coach, poor Coach Monty being thrown away again. Give him a proper roster first then it might change everything.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to ride and stop! on: January 17, 2024, 11:15:32 AM
That's cool share. I think I have those wrong things by increasing my bet on Blackjack too. It's difficult to control that emotion where you want to get back all the losses in one go. I know it was a wrong decision and I did regret it because the next round was a loss again. Luckily, I don't have enough money to double it more so I switched to different bets on the next rounds. Lower, but sometimes bigger if I can get a winning streak. Yeah, sometimes you will have to follow your instincts and avoid relying on strategies like the Martingale because it will just finish all our money in a blink.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 16, 2024, 11:52:06 AM
It could be. Many single picks. We tend to exhausts our resources on the first game that we predicted so we have a high chance to win that. On our next bets we might get lazy at checking the statistics and history of the team we are betting and their opponents. Yes, we reduce the chance to win.
But, let's also consider those who only follow one sport. What if they really know what the result might be because they are following that certain game? That's also a fact because many gamblers are just focused on one favorite game and they might really have an idea who will win. I bet 3 to 4 games on one day in just one sport so I can say that there are gamblers who are successful at winning 75 - 80 percent of their bets.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: January 15, 2024, 02:07:47 PM
I use Bitcoin before to gamble, now I am using USDT. It's a waste of Bitcoin if we just keep on using it for withdrawals. That's a lot of money paid for the transaction fees instead of just $1 in USDT Ethereum chain. Some friends are suggesting me to use XRP instead, it's way more cheaper than USDT but I think I can manage the $1 fees. That's lower and easy to gain. I don't have any problem with XRP but I am not used at gambling using that currency, I get confused how much the money I have or lost.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 15, 2024, 11:15:21 AM
It's possible but look at where it is now. The support from a lot of investors, hardcore Bitcoin fans, and now they are putting Ordinals in Bitcoin chain. Will it happen in the near future? I doubt that. But again, it is possible.
Maybe what you read is just scattering FUD and you will see more of that as Bitcoin keeps on rising after the ETF approval. There are still people who are pessimistic about Bitcoin and you cannot take that away from one project. There will always be those who are against its technology but the number of supporters are higher than them. They are just trying to shake the belief of those who are into Bitcoin.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land-based Casino Enjoyers are something else. on: January 15, 2024, 10:46:32 AM
That's crazy. I wish they are not doing that just for views in social media or in Youtube because that is one bad way to make a trend.
It's either that or the lady is just scared that someone will steal her seat and if you are playing slots we know what that meant. If the next guy hits the jackpot it's all regret for that lady because she stood up and left her seat.
But still this kind of act is not something a lady should do. IMO, those who do that has a big problem mentally because they are not thinking about their environment and those who could smell the pee. That's just not right and unacceptable. Next time, she should go with a friend so that she will have someone to guard the seat while she goes to the comfort room.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 14, 2024, 04:48:25 PM
Nah, I have my pet numbers and I only bet 2 rows. I don't buy anymore tickets after that. In my opinion, it's always the system who decides who will win or not. They are trying to find the combination of numbers where lesser people made a bet and the jackpot will be prevented to attain. It's obviously a rigged system but I still believe that one day I will be lucky to win.
I don't believe that we are really increasing the chances to win if we buy more tickets. If the chances are 0.000001 percent then it's the same thing with your other tickets. The only possible outcome is you are increasing the chances that you might get a 4 or 5 numbers. But I really doubt getting the 6th one.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 14, 2024, 09:21:20 AM
Yes, I believe everything should be in order especially when it comes to financial things like gambling. There must be an amount that we are fixed to spend because if not then we are just going wild in the jungle and it brings chaos to our budget. I believe every gambler should have a planned amount on when they should stop depositing or when they will withdraw if a winning spree comes.
We don't need a spreadsheet to do this. $100 for example, that will be my limit for a week and I won't go further even if I lose this all in a day or two. Discipline, we need that. Gamblers are revengeful which is a fact, we don't want to sleep knowing that we lose but it's what will bring chaos to us because we might be spending money that we cannot afford to lose.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 12, 2024, 04:00:54 PM
Read experiences from veteran gamblers. That will help a lot. As a newbie, don't be full of pride thinking you are better than everyone else. There are some things that newbies won't understand but the veterans will.
I've learned a lot in this forum because of the shared testimonies of many members. True or not, fact or fake, we could use those thing to enhance our responsibility as a gambler. There are many stories that are shared here and we can learn a lot from it. The lifestyle of a gambler, the ethics, and more, those are the things that will build our foundation on how we can be a gambler that won't be ruining the entertainment factor of gambling.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt at Bitcoin ETF..You knew it was coming once BTC raised above ATH on: January 12, 2024, 12:53:36 AM
Finally!!!

https://x.com/Cainewei/status/1745188610712678651?s=20
Bitcoin ETF supporters can finally slow down now. This is the start, the spark, and I think there will be more coming this year.
I always think it will happen, I am very optimistic too but I was surprised it was approved this early. I thought the SEC would still try to lengthen the process and make all Bitcoin ETF supporters drool while waiting for the approval. I guess they could not take all the hype that is going on social media. Cheesy
It had been the talk for months ever since that fake news about the approval came out last year.

Here's a good read from CNBC for those who likes to understand how it will affect the market and what it will mean for investors.

The actual approval Wednesday marked a massive step for the cryptocurrency, as it will give investors increased ways to gain exposure to the token — not just from holding it directly, but via existing financial instruments that trade on a regulated stock exchange.

A nice day to celebrate the good news.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 11, 2024, 10:57:39 AM
Utah managed to beat the third-ranked team in the Western Conference, such as Denver, on its own field, with a score of 124-111.
Utah is in great form right now and will play 5 more matches at home. If they can make a good series, they will move up the ranks.
Toronto, which was in Los Angeles for two games, lost to the Clippers this time with a score of 126-120.
Now Toronto's new address will be the strong Utah away game. Most likely, they will leave Utah with a loss and will have completed the six-game away series with two wins and four losses.
Yes, they are a healthy team now and that's the reason behind the winning streak that they achieved. I like the way Collin Sexton is playing, every time he is given minutes, he doesn't waste them. On his last 5 games he had been scoring in double digits and fans can really feel his presence in the game. I guess the injury of Clarkson did good for him to gain back his confidence after being injured.
Now that the whole roster is healthy they are back on winning games once again. This is the Utah Jazz that we saw at the start of last season. They are strong, they are young, and they are growing. And with Markkanen at Clarkson, their offense got more stronger with so many options to score for them. I have been underestimating them because I bet for the Nuggets. I guess it's time to change the view about this young team.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF officially approved! on: January 11, 2024, 06:10:54 AM
I don't see anything. Can you screenshot the contents or something?
You can go to this twitter as it has a copy of the re-uploaded PDF, you can also read the entire text in the PDF, until now the file from the SEC could not be found.
Thank you for this link. Finally. I really though the SEC is going to prolong this battle and try to scare the investors out. Now here we are. I guess they don't really have a choice after so many battles where mostly they lose.
Now the big question is, where will it go from here? We really have to be patient about this because there might be some negative effects on the start of it. That may be the exciting part on all the events that will happen from hereon.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: January 09, 2024, 04:05:49 PM
Exhausted. That's my answer. Because losing happens more often than winning so exhaustion is mostly what I feel after a gambling day. But when I do stop after a win, the feeling of satisfaction is there. It's not like I want to lose but that's the result most of the time. I think the question should be for the winning part and the losing part because I don't see a gambler who wins big feeling exhausted when he is done. Cheesy
Playing casino games takes hours and if you watch your money fluctuating from red to green then back to red, it makes your mind messy because you don't know when you should stop. Then there's the eye sore too.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 07, 2024, 11:31:30 PM
Another argument that a gambling addict patient may give is because he can afford it. He has the money so why stop now? That kind of reasoning will be difficult to deal with. Rich guys.
Maybe his family were the ones who put him in rehabilitation but he will keep on telling the therapists that it is a mistake that he was there because of his financial capabilities. I don't see any good argument with these type of people because what they are telling may be true. Unless we are on the same boat as him, we would never understand what he is going through. Money can control things and he might get out of the rehabilitation facility anytime he want and that will risk the addiction to grow.
For people like this there's limited options to make a solution on their problems.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 06, 2024, 02:59:14 PM
Memphis Grizzlies upsets the LA Lakers. This is one of the big news today. Jaren Jackson Jr. stepping up his game making 5/6 in three-point line and 3 blocks. Marcus Smart was also helpful in their offense. 29 points, 8/14 in the 3-point range which is amazing. I think the Grizzlies are getting their right position on who's who. They are still inconsistent but this is a good start for them.

Lakers continued their struggle, they had a good start in this game but could not end it the right way. It would be acceptable if they lose in a very close game, but that's not what happened, instead, they allowed the Memphis to dominate them in the 4th quarter. I don't when their struggle will end but I would like to say that they need to end this soon if they want to be in the playoffs.

That energy during the In-Season tournament is gone. 4th losing streak. They are struggling against a team that is undermanned especially in the rim protection division. James did what he can, AD too, Reaves also helping out, but that will not be enough to win a game. If their other team mates are not a threat to any position of the floor then it's easy to predict where the ball will go.
Grizzlies just got Morant back which means chemistry building is happening for now. They are supposed to be not a strong team that can easily be beaten but I guess the Lakers will keep this losing streak especially with their schedule.
Clippers will be next, then Raptors, and Suns. How they will be able to defeat them is a question that is hard to answer.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: January 06, 2024, 11:40:54 AM
From rising topics and lots of risk advise and content that has been shared in this section is enough for many of us to start leaning and put them into practice. Hence I understand that many people here often win or maybe twice a week or once a week maybe could be monthly, and I also believe that there are people who hardly make winning they can gamble for weeks and months without any possibility of winning at this point why don't we share our games.

Maybe anyone can decide to share his game and let those interested to should pick and play on their favorite gambling site, with this help we all can win together, the most important thing should be that everyone understand the gambling rules and for that can only bet with whatever they can afford to lose. If any game is posted by any reputable user here that does not mean that such person is 100% correct and hence shouldn't go bet with their entire life savings, the point is we should be able to carry this mindset that whatever may happen at the point of betting we might win or lose.

I don't know if such thread already existing or maybe, have been locked due to issues that was on grounds or could be that the thread is no longer effective if any please ref me then I can put this on lock as well then I will be more active over there.
You are right, we must know our limits. That way we can be a responsible gambler. IMO, putting a budget is the right thing to do, and when all of that is gone, take the rest. We must also preserve our health because once we continue because of revenge (chasing losses) then it gets stressful. I don't think we want that because next to it will be a lot of different bad health condition like constipation, headaches, and more.
Some may not understand this yet because they have not gone through those problems but I have seen it and experienced it. Had a hard time taking a number 2 because I was so stressed with my losing streak while all I want is to get my lost money back.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the btc price reach 100k ? on: January 05, 2024, 06:01:33 PM
A year ago it was already said. I think they will just keep on hyping that kind of amount until Bitcoin reached it so that they can tell they predicted it right.
$100k is a high amount, that too obvious. And when that time comes will Bitcoin still be a currency? I doubt that. Gold is just $2042+ right now and yet it was an asset for a long time. I do understand that Bitcoin has limited amount but the question of why pops out. We want every satoshi to be as valuable as possible and I think that the reason why they keep injecting something on every satoshi like what the ordinals are doing. But do imagine how much the transaction fees will be if Bitcoin kept on rising? I am not against it but the balance must follow the increase in value. If we still want this to be a currency so that the demand will be intact then might as well lower the fees and increase the speed. That way it's like nothing changed.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 05, 2024, 04:02:30 PM
Let them share their regrets, this may be his healing process so that he can easily move on from his mistakes. Some people do like sharing their experiences and I think it's a good way to make yourself feel better. I always try to be honest with my partner so that I have someone to share all my regrets and I think your friend is just doing the same. If you think what he is doing is stupid then I doubt you are a real friend to him. If that is what happened to me I will invite that friend of mine for a drink so he can complete his story over beers and some good food.
