why the wallet debug file  always increasing till full of disk c:。 i want to keep the wallet open, but for that i have to close it.

dev has fixed the large log file issue with latest version.  it was noticeable if you have a wallet that with lots of micro stakes.  with the old wallet my log would grow ridiculously large from the 100+ stakes /day, (16GB at one point ! Cheesy) now it grows at more reasonable size.

I would like draw everyone attention to this article,  it has some important information and examples of how change addresses work and it is the same for bitcoin, cinni and every other altcoin that exists. Everyone should read it so they can understand better how transactions work.

Important parts to read are "How Bitcoin Transactions Work" and "Preventing and Recovering from Change Address Disasters"

if that 10 BTC wall goes @ 6k im out then

would you stop trying to manpulate and cause panic please.  it all you post "cinni going up" "cinni going down" "I'm out" etc etc etc
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 29, 2014, 12:10:52 AM
It keep getting confirme for like 25 or 50 then get back to not confirmed!  Angry

If I do checkwallet in console this is what I got

{
"mismatched spent coins" : 20,
"amount in question" : 483.60962800
}

are you using the latest version of wallet?  It will show a modified date of "24/05/2014" for file properties or modified column in explorer and is what the dev released.  AFAIK you can choose to use this one or the previous one without coincontrol which has modified date of "23/04/2014".  Any others are the wrong version/have bugs.

Was the @cinniteam twitter account hacked?  all they have posted for days is famous quotes and it looks like a twitterbot spam which doesnt seem very professional.  Its also very annoying as a search for cinnicoin show all these spammy quotes instead of news or other more relevant things.
Is this what the "marketing" people got paid to do?

We need more real tweets not this fake twitterbot stuff.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies relaunched on: May 28, 2014, 02:08:26 AM
i remember reading somewhere you can contact them to get the cent back.

yeah done that a few times. gave them addresses months ago but still nothing.  i get the feeling they lost all the cent and are now hoping that everyone forgets about it  Undecided  But the wallet has been updated, and other exchanges added it, and even the transaction limit was removed so they can't use that as an excuse anymore for not giving back the coins they are withholding from their users.

Have you sent a support ticket about it?

by now i've sent support ticket about the support ticket about the support tickets regarding my pennies? Cheesy

hopefully they are aware of this new wallet and are simply waiting for the hard fork, but i find it very suspect that they removed the coin from balances page.   Undecided

devs in case you haven't notice another exchange wants to add Cinni, but they need your help Wink

Hey,

We're trying to add Cinni on CoinNext (coinnext.com) but we are having troubles compiling the wallet from source. Could you please upgrade the code to be compatible with the latest boost library please? It's 1.55 atm. Otherwise, it brakes the source compilation:

811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies relaunched on: May 27, 2014, 06:24:13 PM
whats happening with cryptsy?  are they going to update and give everyone their cents back?  they already removed the name so its blank above the number of CENT that were in account.  can only be seen on dashboard.

Is cryptsy really that bad they would try to steal from its users their pennies?  Shocked
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 27, 2014, 12:17:55 PM
You can vote at coinpayments as many times as you want. I voted 7 times for cinni. They do nothing against it. Now i don't need to keep this secret.

That means dev could make 100 votes for his coin in some days. But he did't. I don't think he is stupid and don't see this ability. He just don't care about it coz not planning long life for his coin i think. But maybe stupid ..... ))

I even wrote him about it some days ago. Nothing.

did you read the rules? Only 1 of your votes will be counted. It great you like to donate to charity but attempting to cheat on voting and suggesting it here will only hurt Cinni chances.
The coins at the top if there any multiple voting from same person will have their additional votes ignored and the last vote they made replaces any earlier ones.  Those other coins currently at top if they have had people trying to cheat, their efforts will be wasted when voting ends and the coins below them at 5th, 6th, 7th etc could easily win on that day after the duplicate votes are removed for the coins at 1st , 2md or 3rd places currently.

CoinPayments Charity Coin Vote
Building on our experiences in our previous public votes and after weighing our options, we have decided to hold this public coin vote off of our usual forum. This should open it up to even more people since they won't have to register for an account there.

This time we've also turned the vote into a charity drive for The Water Project. Each vote will require a donation of 0.001 BTC (or LTC/DOGE equivalent) with a side effect of helping deter paid vote manipulation.

Rules
Only 1 vote is allowed per person. Additional votes will replace your earlier votes. Votes determined to be fraudulent or paid-for will not be refunded (the funds will of course still be donated to the charity). Doing any of the following will disqualify your vote: (Sorry we have to take such a hard line on this, we just have rampant cheating during each vote.)
Starting a vote then having someone else do the donation.
Placing a vote then getting a reimbursement or reward of any value (for example: crypto or fiat currency, access to a site that normally requires payment, coupons or discounts, etc.)
Using Tor or similar = automatic disqualify (during our last vote we only had 3 valid votes from Tor users)
IPs listed in HTTP:BL or other spambot/botnet blacklist = automatic disqualify
This is not a complete list, anything that violates the spirit of the rules will be disqualified.
Remember: This vote is not about trade volume (a lot of that volume is people trading the coin for BTC/LTC or to hold for long term investment) or which coin backers have the biggest advertising budgets; it is about how many people genuinely want to purchase items using a particular coin.

we  don't know if the wallet has been updated, can dev make 啊 note on the front page.

+1

if possible could devs begin to include a version scheme as well as official release date in the code of new wallet releases and can be viewed in the information tab instead of the same "Client name: CinniCoin" and "Client version: v1.0.0.0" ?  eg: cinnicoin-v1.02.1-beta. Then the major number change when chat or encrypted messaging is added in future like cinnicoin-v2.01-stable.

It would makes it easier for us users to see what we are using, at the moment it gets confusing after a few wallet updates  Grin

Version also can also then be used in the marketing and news updates by others, and that all helps Cinni Smiley
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Next cryptocurrency candidates for CoinEX on: May 25, 2014, 04:30:39 AM
You guys know that your asking for coins to be added to an officially insolvent exchange?
The owners have disappeared and stop replying.  There is no sane reason to trade there or get new coins added unless your clinging to the hope that Erundook/Vitaly will return and somehow save it.  They were hacked and all the bitcoins are gone!

Have a look at the only exchangethat has been designed from the ground up with security in mind.  No other exchange comes close to the protection and transparency that Atomic-Tradeprovides to its users.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: May 24, 2014, 06:30:19 AM
Is PoS been fixed with interest the same as before?  I still have some starcoin i've been keeping in a wallet since PoS broke last year.
Will I able to send and receive from crypsty if they havent updated?

Mintpal is hacked? Big orders are flashing on BC, CINNI, XLB, WC market etc.

this is why i try to promote other exchanges so coins wouldnt be so centralized and potentially at risk on exchanges like mint or cryptsy. (just because the volume is there and "everyone" trades there doesnt mean they are safe)

Check out Atomic it has better security then Mint or Cryptsy, and liquidity report so everyone knows how much coins are held by exchange.  Crypto-Trade is another exchange where you can also trade Cinni with USD that has been around for a while.

btw screenshot your orders and balances on mint would be a good idea at this point Wink

just to let people know, dev has provided a updated walletqt to me and others for testing. Smiley

but for now people should stick with previous version without coincontrol.  links to that version have been posted by myself and others and you can (and should) confirm before using that they indeed the official released version from looking at the checksum of the exe file on virustotal or in a checksum tool locally.  ifs it identical (SHA256 should = 63e34aa880482e24f48626c486163a3fc4538451041e969e6bf9fa7628af31c9) you will get this page:

is it true that the dev left cinni?

Where did you get that? Anything to support your claim?

he is lying.  you can check cinni github and see that some updates have been made to the code in  last 24 hours. teh dev is still active and working hard.

this is just another utclover lover or one of his sockpuppets
