801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How come people spend days here? on: December 20, 2022, 10:51:47 AM
Most likely as this is the only forum that, in my opinion, incentivizes knowledge or opinion!

But, for those who were truly interested in bitcoin, this provided a venue for quality discussion that no other platform can replicate. Plus, you can find a lot of entertaining dramas among the members here, including how other members defend themselves when they are caught off-guard breaking forum rules.

Now if you ask me, this forum actually serve as my go-to website to create a habit of learning bitcoin on a daily basis while being rewarded except when there are a lot of schoolworks  Grin
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to properly store seed phrase during inspection? on: December 20, 2022, 10:16:02 AM
Plot twist!

That seed phrase is actually a bait for you to send some amount of crypto that will serve as a transaction fee for a script that automatically removes it's balance LOL Grin

Any Staff or Owner roobet here ?
Please read my thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430205.new#new
i had issue with my withdrawal
Thanks!
As I have said, try using other device such as desktop or another laptop. I have the same issue from before, and switching to another device works like charm.

This is also the reason why I thought of having to complete the level 2 KYC which clearly has nothing to do with the error you are experiencing  Grin
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost $4000 because of addresses starting with "bc1p" on: December 20, 2022, 05:50:08 AM
The four address formats used in the bitcoin mainnet are all intended to be compatible with one another, so you can send and receive bitcoin using two different formats.

The issue here is that it is not whether the bitcoin address you are sending to has a different format but rather with the wallet's capability to send to or receive from bech32m-type bitcoin addresses.

But yeah, that's a lot of tuition fee for a person who is in the industry for a while.

805  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roobet locked me out and kept my money! on: December 20, 2022, 04:41:44 AM
This is i cannot withdraw : https://prnt.sc/aWzJoyJheOSr
Have you tried using a different device to log into your account? Although I had previously encountered this error twice, Roobet allowed me to withdraw my money without any problems after I switched to my desktop where I originally created the account.

I'm not pretty sure, but I assume there is a hidden security measure in place to prevent users from withdrawing funds from multiple device at once. And I don't know if it's a bug or a feature.
806  Economy / Services / Re: Newbie LOGO designer Price? (A question for graphic designers) on: December 19, 2022, 02:09:05 PM
@PX-Z. Thanks for the mention. I am very sorry for the late reply as I am busy doing academic workload this past few weeks!

When I received my first commission, they gave me roughly $100 for a complete logo without any revisions. The logo was utilized for a chicharon business that is still operating today. Suppose you're curious about how I arrived at the price range. In that case, I consider the client's budget, the estimated time it will take me to complete the logo, and the materials I utilized to create the project (e.g., rent, food, software license).

You also need to take into account the cost of living in your country, though, because sometimes there is a tendency that you will underestimate your pricing, especially if you live in a 3rd world country where products and services are commonly cheap as compared to others. Quoting such a price is difficult, but sometimes the trick is to trust your gut feeling, especially when you understand the ins and outs of the business.

As of now, with my 4 years of experience in doing some freelance logo design(not my main niche), I roughly estimate the price range for about 400-500 USD with revisions. But that's only for the base price.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you really think about trading bots? on: December 19, 2022, 01:17:01 PM
I am not an active trader and a trading bot user, but people need to know that trading bots are just a tool that still requires you to have an actual trading plan that you follow religiously.

Suppose you do not have any idea what you are doing. In that case, deciding to use a bot could do more harm than good because, in the first place, it isn't about knowing the bot's functionality alone but rather knowing how and when to effectively use it with respect to your trading plan.

Heya, sorry for calling you out; I just noticed that we have the same bbcode format which I am not comfortable with, not only because it defeats the purpose of creativity but can also raise some suspicion of you being my alt account which is a pain in the ass. It would be better to study how BBCode formatting works; from there, you can create your own design. Thank you @Quote420.

There are lots of tutorial here!

Been using Binance P2P a lot and so far wala pa naman ako na encounter na ganyang modus or scam bukod sa napakatagal na waiting time at unresponsive buyer ng USDT. What I do is that

1. make sure na updated palagi yung Gcash or any mobile banking application na gagamitin when receiving funds.
2. Check for reviews na may more than 10-15k feedback at dapat significant yung difference ng negative reviews sa positive.
3. Check for familiar names lalo kapag may ads yung ka-transaction mo from before. Sometimes it does help na magiging okay yung transaction kapag familiar ka na.
4. Verify mo sa app if na-receive mo talaga yung exact funds mo. Huwag aasa sa text message kasi as far as I know, nag update na yung Gcash in terms of bank transfer notifcations[1].

This digital artwork is purely hand drawn using Adobe Photoshop CC.

812  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit kaya walang Blockchain project na based sa bansa natin? on: November 20, 2022, 11:01:34 PM
Actually meron! Sa university namin may nag conduct ng webinar about crypto and it turns out yung speaker ng event is CEO  ng Paytaca[1]. Ang pangit lang don sa talk niya parang shini-shill niya palagi yung bitcoin cash LOL. I mean how in the world a speaker would not know kung ano history ng bitcoin cash specifically pagdating kay faketoshi, plus it is not bitcoin.

818  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nootropicsnowph Accepting bitcoin on: October 13, 2022, 04:36:43 AM
@Oasisman

After a month of using it, I can say that Noopept isn't for me kasi kabaliktaran yung nangyayari haha. Usually I feel extremely lethargic after 10-20 minutes. Some say mataas daw yung dosage ko na 30mg for a beginner like me na dapat 10 mg lang for starters. But it doesn't stop me from trying other noots out there, meron pang modafinil na OTC din sa nootropicsnowph na oorderin ko kapag may extra ulit kasi may kamahalan yung modafinil.

Just remember that not all nootropics works for everyone else, madalas trial and error. So my take would be is for you to research even further.

Aside sa nootropicsph, meron ding nootropicsdepot na nag aaccept ng bitcoin payments. Ang kaibahan lang, international company tong nootropicsdepot kaya sure na mas matagal yung delivery time.

819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 13, 2022, 02:13:18 AM
Just to clarify, Metaverse is an umbrella term for anything that is related to a simulated "real world" and NFT is just a part of the broad aspect of the Metaverse. If there's anything worth investing or trading in Metaverse, it's the big boys in the market such as Microsoft, Meta, Apple, Google, AMD, Intel and Nvidia that are continuously making these innovation possible and not those ponzi scheme play-to-earn games.

There is also a good read by Matthew Ball[1] and Jon Radoff[2] that explains Metaverse in depth and offers a fresh perspective on how these things actually work.

820  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🎃 [ANN] Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 🎃 on: October 13, 2022, 12:31:01 AM
Rules - The only rule is that your creation has to include some sort of pumpkin, gourd, squash or something of that ilk.  If you want to incorporate 3D printed stuff, NFT's, coins, whatever, all the better!  There will only be one entry per person (but this can include a bulk of items together (i.e. a 3 pumpkin set with a drawing next to it, for example).
Heya, is it necessary for the artwork to be physical like an actual pumpkin? Or are we allowed to create bitcoin pumpkin 3D sculpture using any 3D computer graphics software like Blender? Maybe it is a 3D artwork with little animation and effects incorporated in it. Thank you!!
