801  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: November 13, 2019, 06:22:14 PM
As of now i haven't used bitcoin/cryptocurrency as my way of payment to buy some stuff besides cellphone loads because i have not yet encountered a store that accepts bitcoin/cryptocurrency as an alternative way of payment but if i do i will definitely use some of my cryptos as my payment.

it's hard to find ecommerce that uses bitcoin/crypto, since steam no longer supports payments with bitcoin anymore. even more worst is that in my country prohibits all transactions that use crypto for payment.
at the moment I can only use bitcoin to pay for VPS/RDP or cloud storage (such as awesomerdp, wushare). it is better to exchange bitcoin to FIAT if it is indeed want to make transactions on e-commerce.

Exactly, i am having a hard time crossing paths with stores or ecommerce that accepts cryptocurrency as a payment so i mostly exchange it to fiat just to buy stuff.

Yes most if us have not used crypto for shopping and I am finding it difficult to find a reliable site to purchase goods as most of the sites which accepts crypto are either shady or Grey sites. But there are some e-commerce projects based on crypto which will give a push to crypto usage in terms of shopping.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 13, 2019, 03:07:06 PM
I think it's the end of bounties era as users don't trust bounties anymore due to the scam projects and greedy developers who don't have intention of rewarding users for their efforts but rather just wants to use them as a tool of marketing. In order to gain trust we need some good projects which does not scam investor's and provide rewards for hunters and list the project in good exchange.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 13, 2019, 12:00:52 PM
altcoin which is already registered in a large market and has a good price development., it is one of the altcoins that are used / chosen by many investors. and important for you if you are interested in altcoin investment then you need to consider and buy alcoin at the top of the list in the market. but my advice if you have big money, prioritize to buy BTC and some to buy top altcoin.

There are other aspects like trading volume,  exchanges it's been listed as well as liquidity which we need to consider before going for altcoin apart from the overall projects because regardless of features and development team an altcoin can die if it's listed on shifty exchanges without proper liquidity.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTERNATIVES MEANS IN CRYPTOCURRENCY JOBS APART FROM BOUNTIES. on: November 13, 2019, 07:28:19 AM
I would suggest you to try offering services like site support, graphic designing, Ann thread designing, signature and logo designing, telegram management as I am sharing this from my experience which has helped me earn in crypto apart from bounties and also you can vouch for the post of moderator in new forums if you eligible.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 13, 2019, 07:14:51 AM
i hope not, but i think it will be end someday.
what people need is to be more creative than before, creative create something new from previous. so people wont get boring faster, and it can improve other people to make something more and more.
we need to dig much more about blockchain, some platform already to adopth it, but we need more platform to use it to make easy overall people
It will not be end, but rather many coins will be gone and turns into shit coins, because as what I can see there are new projects every week that has been introduced to the market, more and more coins are being created and listed in different exchanges , they will provide innovations from other cryptocurrency the coin that will not do any new updates will be fallen in the market.

Yes when there are many new coin everyday with new features it's quite obvious that bitcoin need to update it's features because right now bitcoin is just used as a mere investment rather than it's original motto of peer to peer transfer because it takes hours to make a transaction. It will become survival of the fittest in near future hence bitcoin needs to buckle up if it needs to survive.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales Are Selling BTC Before Market Crash: Peter Schiff on: November 12, 2019, 07:33:42 AM
We may not see such 1000% rise in price from bottom to peak like with the last halving of LTC, yet still, 200-300% price increase is a very possible thing.

A 300% price increase would take Bitcoin from the current levels of $9,000 to $36,000. I am not sure whether we can expect such a rise. I would say that the chances looks 50/50 right now. There is also a good chance that the exchange rates can go down (just like what happened to Litecoin, immediately after the block reward halving)

I don't think we can expect such a huge increase as things can go either way, I think our own analysis can help us in order to take right decisions because as per current market situation we cannot believe any prediction. We need to consider Litecoin halving and XLM burning half of it's unused tokens which did not have any significant impact on price increase.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 12, 2019, 07:12:44 AM
I think they are more interested in the promotion and don't bother have much restriction or quality of posts and it's quite obvious that the project might or might not be successful as they are not bothered about the basic requirement for the participants. It's time for the other bounty managers and owners to buckle up and have stringent rules if they don't want people to think their project as scam.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 11, 2019, 05:41:13 PM
Just hold those two cryptos, because investing in all kind of ICOs/IEOs/STOs are not bringing money anymore. The only coin that gains profit is BTC and ETH would be updated within several months, so it is a good choice as well.

Yes these are the coins which has potential to bounce back even if they hit zero wherein other altcoins who were affected during bearish market are still limping to reach at least half the value they were during bull run BTC and ETH are already marching towards it. I would vouch for TRX and BNB as well.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 11, 2019, 11:22:04 AM
I don't think it's 100% accurate because we are witnessing fluctuations in the vue of bitcoin and altcoins will only improve when Bitcoin's price increases without any dump, But as you mentioned if we want to go for long term investment then this is the right time to buy altcoins when it's low.
810  Other / Meta / Re: Open letter to bounty managers on: November 11, 2019, 09:30:12 AM
Bounty managers you are responsible for flooding this forum with too many posts, either good or spamming, why? because its ridiculous saying bounty hunters must post 15 posts per week

1. Its not every time we will have something to contribute on.
Most times i come on here i only see old posts that i have no interest in at all but due to meeting up with required bounty posts i will be forced to complete them, some posts are so useless or repetitive that you won't want to say a thing

2. This is another way to reduce spammers, few bounty managers i knew of will only request 7 to 10 posts per week which i feel its more than enough, moreover we have too many scam projects in this space already so not every bounty projects have guarantee

Bounty managers please try to adjust

It's not the bounty managers everytime as they just follow the command of developers so we can request bounty managers to negotiate with owners of the project to explain them about how their requirement is causing spamming in this forum but most of bounty managers are afraid to cross question owners fearing that it will create negative impact. There are greedy users with alt account and fake account who further spam the forum for their personal gain and while managing campaign i have seen a single user creating 60 odd account just to cheat.
811  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Change in Prices on Bitcoin's utility as Currency on: November 11, 2019, 08:47:09 AM
Yes I definitely understand the hesitancy to use it as currency. Haven't experienced being on the seller side but when we have bear markets, we feel bad having to use it to buy less goods. When it's on a rally, we feel that we should be doing something else with it. Me and other users I personally know just end up watching the price, converting some to fiat when the price is good and just using those for purchases instead.

Exactly, This is not limited to yourself but most of us feels the same way and that's the reason bitcoin cannot be used as currency because even when the value is at peak we don't risk to use it for transactions because we know about the volatility and cannot afford to lose if value dump, when we being in this industry from long time are hesitant to use it then how can we expect new comes or those with less knowledge about bitcoin into using bitcoin as currency for their daily uses.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 11, 2019, 08:29:18 AM
I think crypto can be best alternative for fiat but cannot be used in terms of daily transactions even if it becomes mainstream because of volatility as not everyone will be familiar with fluctuations. I feel stable coins can be used for daily transactions since it does not fluctuates like other crypto.
813  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 10, 2019, 05:40:16 PM
There is a speculation roaming around that the value of bitcoin will go down between the range of value 7500 - 8500. So we don't know if that will happen soon but i think it might happen and it might go down until 9k.

And there is a major support holding until 9k so if that will break then it will plummet for sure,

It seems the speculation is somehow correct, BTC is currently at $8300+.  It seems whales are keeping the price down to accumulate more in preparation of the Bitcoin halving hype.  Probably we can see a huge Bitcon price surge after this dump as the halving gets near.

Now I wish what I have posted doesn't come true even though I know these dumps are temporary but still it can inflict damage a good amount of time as everything we have not seen any expected pump so far but expected dump never fails us. I hope this does not send a panic wave across the market.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Bullish for Bitcoin’ — China Scraps Plans to Ban Cryptocurrency Mining on: November 10, 2019, 05:24:37 PM
Will this increase the price of Bitcoin or improve its decentralization? I think I prefer the latter, but I hope this doesn't make mining unprofitable in other part of the world due to cheap energy and things like that. This is the mining  decentralization

I feel mining industry is already at losing end wherein the huge mining farms are still beneficial but low and mid level miners are not getting the desired result and I think this might further pull down the bleeding mining market if mining industry is dominated by some part of world wherein they get electricity at very cheap price.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 10, 2019, 05:19:47 PM
bullrun cannot be predicted precisely it can be now or later ,the price increase does not increase immediately when investor see the parade news on tv he will not immediately believe ,mean all of this is full of processes and clearly must be planned to build new interests of several other large company

Yes no one can predict bull run at this point of time but yes we can expect some sort of market improvement owing to positive news flourishing the market which might attract more whales to dive into crypto world which might push the crypto market.  It's just my opinion not sure how market will react post halving which might be the turning point.
816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC now ~$8,780? Simple... on: November 10, 2019, 09:25:47 AM
You are wrong here, bitcoin price is not dependent on miners hash rate. If it that easy then every miner would do that to push the Bitcoin price. This price dump can be a manipulation by the whales so that people can sell at low and they can fill their new bags! But it can be calm before the storm. In December, the crypto market may see a very good pump!

Yes there is no way that miners can manipulate the price and I am telling this because I had been mining in the past, even miners depends on whales for price fluctuations in order to sell at high. I really wish your predictions about December's pump comes true as it will change the market perception.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: November 10, 2019, 09:16:24 AM
Nobody can stop it all, maybe it's just a little bit to have it if we all are equally clever when there is a suspicious one.
The scammer makes it all realistically so people believe in their project. To know in order not to get stuck in their scammer just by looking at their team and projects whether real and have offices in a country.
Then analyze the whitepaper, roadmap, etc. to be more detailed about what they make. Many projects mostly use face people and posted on their web it's very scary.
Scam bounty campaign depend with how success an ICO its self, without ICO raise hard cap impossible become success for bounty participants got payment, all bounty hunter have understood with scam payment from bounty campaign if ICO scam with less investor and do not reached of selling target.
but there are also successful projects that raise funds but they run and don't pay bounty hunters. even though they have received strong complaints, but they don't care about it. so I guess it depends on the goals of the project team itself.

Yes when they short term goals and running away with investor's money and bounty hunter's effort no one can stop them as they are using vulnerability of decentralization as there as no KYC for the team and still they force bounty hunters to go through it. Now everyone is tired of these bounties and investor's have given up and looking for alternative ways to warn profit like trading and all.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: November 09, 2019, 05:20:01 PM
Why do they have to limit their people from using or keeping their local currency? What are they trying to do? Avoid inflation? Avoid criminal activities? I don't think that's the solution for it. The government's job is to prevent crimes but not to make their people suffer. People will have a hard time adjusting that they might look for another way to have money without having to hold their physical cash. Crypto can be an option, but are there any prohibition with crypto in Malaysia?

I think they might have planned something big and even I am wondering why are even to implement such a bizarre rule? What are the other options available for the citizens?  Because everyone will not be able to learn about crypto and it's not feasible to use it on daily life. I will not be wondering if they are planning to go completely digital and launch their own centralized digital currency.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: November 09, 2019, 04:46:47 PM
Well!! Did you know? Dogecoin has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto space, as a lot of experts like Elon musk, vitalik, and john McAfee have shown love and support for dogecoin.

On the other hand, experts predict that dogecoin price will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your take on dogecoin?

I would say Dogecoin is like meme or smiley for crypto world wherein everyone loves it but when it comes to investment I would say it's not the preferred coin for investment as it needs to limit the market supply and make some more development in order to compete for investment.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Time in Bangladesh on: November 09, 2019, 04:22:54 PM
not just in your country like that, in my country and in other countries there may also be. because bitcoin and the government are difficult to find harmony, and I think it is difficult to make bitcoin legal under current conditions, which is where bitcoin is used for many criminal transactions ......

basically bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies just need to be transparent in their transactions especially in building relationships with the government. In our country, bitcoin and other crypto are legal, the reason is that we are responsibly utilizing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to make efficient transactions. We openly discuss the advantages and disadvantages of it so we can work things out with the government. Most of the time, what we just need is to become a good member of the community, obey rules and regulations that the government is promoting, so in the latter time, if we want to propose a technology, they will surely put their time and trust to it.

Actually, Bitcoin has been transparent, here in our country, the adoption is getting brighter and brighter, we even have here government official who is going to launch his own coin, it means, our government are seeing the potential of crypto here in our country. Let us be patient if our country is not yet ready to adopt this changes, let's give them time to do their part to make study about it as this is their obligation to protect their citizens and how they are going to regulate it. Be patient and it will be worth it, just like we have right now.

Yes there are various aspects which a country would think before accepting or adopting bitcoin due to their own internal security and policies wherein we cannot rush or blame them. One thing which we have noticed this year is that more countries have shown interest in crypto this year and again I don't think all of them will for for crypto rather they will have their own centralized digital currency.
