I can work on that a bit in the future but you have to keep in mind that a $10 card costs me $15. I'm looking for a cheaper supplier of prepaid cards. Its the load fee that kills it for the cheaper cards. There is also some nice features you get with a greendot visa. You can get direct deposit directly to the card and they even send you a personalized card in the mail once you register. You can even verify a paypal account with one of these once registered. |

Finally, the issues with deposits and withdrawals from Mt. Gox are being relieved, but still not at the rate we want.
For example it currently takes up to 10 days to process a deposit because our bank, upon receiving deposits, notifies us of the deposit but holds them for 7~10 days before transferring them to our account. This has always been the case, and we were still crediting customer accounts before receiving the funds ourselves, but some cases in which the bank subsequently rejected the deposits meant that we incurred significant losses. The risk is now too high for us to credit accounts prematurely. We are in the process of forming relationships with new partners, banks, and taking other steps -- hopefully we will not only be back where we were before we encountered these issues , but much further ahead.
From my reading of this, they have Deposits and Withdrawals working but it takes longer than it used to. What will make Litecoin go up in value is the arbitrage opportunity and the larger volume of trades going on at MtGox.

If you pick the correct date you will win a portion of the pot corresponding to how many tickets you bought out of the total tickets sold for that day. Pick any date on the calender. Use the "Buy a Ticket" button and enter your E-mail address and Bitcoin address in the "Note to Seller" space at the bottom right of the checkout page. 1 entry only costs 0.01btc or the equivalent in alt-coins, you can buy as many entry's as you like. If you buy more than one entry for a day we will take that into account when paying out winnings for that day. We will pool all of the coins and the winner/winners will get a percentage of the pool according to how many shares of the winning day they purchased. Ex. If the Pool is 33ltc 553wdc and 2btc and there are 5 tickets bought for the winning day. Each ticket would be entitled to 6.6ltc 110.6wdc and 0.4btc. The winner/winners may opt to have the various alt coins converted to Bitcoin for easier transfer. If the day that MTgox implements Litecoin has no sold tickets then there will be consolation prizes paid to the 2 days closest to the day of implementation. Ex. MTgox takes on Litecoin on September 15th but no one has bought tickets for that day. In this case anyone who bought tickets for September 14th and 16th will get a portion of the Pot.
