I have a question / suggestion.
A Dent is the equivalent of a Bitcoin satoshi, yes? (0.00000001 [42])
I do love the choice in the new wallet to display in Dents, but is it necessary to have the decimal point and extra 0 in the display?
e.g. Mined +4200.0 Dents
Is it even possible to have a fraction of a Dent?
(Up to 29870 Dents now!)
With the current wallet a fraction of a Dent is not possible. I will work on it in the future. It might be possible to shift digits from one end to the other. There was a spot in the code to tell where the decimal point is and how many characters equals a COIN. It will take alot of testing so don't expect it within the net few weeks. Maybe in a month. I have to be sure it wont break anything. I think if you add fractions to a dent, 42 will be just a ordinary coin with 4.200.000.000 coins and a complicated birth. Maybe think about that. You might be right. On the other hand, When Bitcoin is 10mil per BTC, we will be trading satoshi's. If I can modify 42 to add more decimal places, Bitcoin could be modded the same way. |
