801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable? on: April 23, 2018, 11:08:48 AM
Now everyone is investing heavily on Bitcoin. But can anyone hack this Bitakayena? If Bitcoin means hacks, then there will be a lot of damage. Where is Bitcoin's hidden security?
It can be hacked but not such easy. They can hack bitcoin system or your wallet only. However, developers are working everyday to make it more secure.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 23, 2018, 11:04:38 AM
Possesses bitcoin as well as holding a gun  Huh Smiley Huh
http://bitcoinnews.com/cryptocurrencies-gun-crime-canada/
I don't think that holding bitcoin is a crime, it is just a digital coin, you can not use it to kill or harm anyone.
They think that because they don't like bitcoin.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam in the name of BITCOIN on: April 23, 2018, 10:51:50 AM
Many people are still fall on this kind of bitcoin investment scheme.
Recently heard about the news of $17M bitcoin scam (Biggest scam on that country)

I have here the list why people are still fall on this trap and maybe because of:

*lack of knowledge
*thinking for easy money
*they really not care about this market or
*Being feed with a wrong information

To prevent yourself from being a victim you'd better to start making an effort
to learn more about cryptocurrency, this is not an easy money you still need to make effort.
Any thoughts about this thing ?
I agree with you. lack of knowledge is the main reason makes them get scammed. This year in my country, 15M Bitcoin is scammed because people invested in a new coin/ token.
804  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Holding Strong on: April 23, 2018, 10:45:14 AM
https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckjones/2018/04/22/bitcoin-continues-rebounding-after-april-17-tax-day/

It seems as though Bitcoin has remained at the heels of 9k even through all the doubt surrounding it. There is a lot of resistance currently at 9k as many have their sell orders set at this point. Bitcoin ha actually touched 9k for a short period of time before the sell orders brought it back down. As long as it keeps this pace there should be no doubt that a bull market is in the near future.

Good Luck Traders,
The Elysian Team
The price goes up slowly, i hope that it can reach 14.000 usd soon. I will continue hold bitcoin to see a higher price.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: April 21, 2018, 11:18:57 AM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our money/assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think.
Yes, it change what we think about money and bring blockchain technology closer to our world, then more coins were borned.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: April 18, 2018, 02:02:59 PM
It has slow transactions and the fees are high, and it is the cryptocurrency frontier.

What do you think will realistically will take Bitcoins nr1 spot in the future? Bitcoin Cash maybe?  Huh

I am using blockchain wallet and the fees are very low, alway less than 2 usd. Bitcoin is better because it is older, trusted.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: April 18, 2018, 11:11:03 AM
I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

The first time i got scammed is 2 year ago by hash ocean, a famous cloud mining site at that time.
Then is by PTC sites.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will regulation kill cryptos? on: April 18, 2018, 11:08:12 AM
Regulators want to make sure they protect investors from scams, while at the same time allowing the industry to develop and deploy the new technology in interesting ways. Overregulation could move the action elsewhere, which is what happened in China.

It’s too early to tell who's doing the best job of setting the rules. Nations are taking various tasks.

What do you think?
In some side, it will affect on bitcoin price but can not make bitcoin die. It was not created for investing only.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: April 17, 2018, 04:47:02 PM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
criminals prefer bitcoin more than fiat money because it's anonymous, safe,... Like silk road, bitcoin was it's main payment.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: April 17, 2018, 04:42:34 PM
I see alot of people are holding Bitcoins and are convinced that their coins would multiply in value. The same people preach the Bitcoin ideology that its P2P,  decentralised, low to nil send or receive etc.

However, only a small group of people today are using Bitcoins as they were intended. And the fees are not exactly cheap to buy Bitcoins, not to mention those exchange places are basically like banks.

So my question is, are you a True believer of Bitcoins and other Cryptocurrencies that it will one day replace paper money, decentralised and all. Or are you only a believer that the price will continue to climb and you'll one day be a millionaire?

I simply find it fascinating that its apparent, people are preaching the benefits of Bitcoins but they are not using them. Preaching to newbies and drive up the demand and prices of the coins.
Rather, I would love to see people who really believe in Bitcoins, actually going out there and using the coins to purchase products, send/receive coins and let the coins circulate around. I would love to see that day. When the prices are not so volatile, and the coins are being used as they were intended. However, not being volatile also means the prices would rise sharply like it has been this year, which also means you wont be a millionaire holding onto them coins.

So are you a True Believer?

So it have multipled since the time you posted this  Huh Huh yes, I am a true believer and still wait for bitcoin reaching 200000 usd  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2018, 04:39:03 PM
I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme.

Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?}

The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles.

Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it.

How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about?

I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they

are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH,

and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this.

I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Roll Eyes
I have already proved it with them, i am earning real money, buy car, phones, house,... and even don't care what are they saying about bitcoin.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: April 17, 2018, 04:35:05 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.
Holding is a safe option, but some professional traders don't like it, they want to play with the market and now is the time to earn big money.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: April 17, 2018, 04:25:34 PM

I know some will say it is a fud but friends i am not joking. You are free to not  to buy my thoughts.
Hope i will save someone.

815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on? on: April 17, 2018, 04:18:50 PM

819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi on: April 17, 2018, 02:18:40 PM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
Let them see that you are earning real money by yourself, not scam, liar,... and give them more documents to read and understand how crypto world work.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seller pays fee option? on: April 17, 2018, 02:07:25 PM
When you pay by card or Paypal the seller pays any fees related to the transaction.  Does BTC allow anything similar?  It would make it more customer friendly.
Bitcoin doesn't have that option because it is not used for paying, but there might be some 3-rd party payment systems offer it.
