They did nothing with the FCC. If they had they would have a sticker on the device. The device has no FCC sticker.
And the documentation would be on the official FCC site, of which it is not as of yesterday. I just checked. I believe somebody has a $1,000 USD bounty awarded to anybody who can prove via said site that BFL has submitted a single device. Amazingly, that's one bet that Josh won't be able to profit from. Then again, don't put it pass BFL to create some document and state that due to the uniqueness of their devices, only a certificate is awarded without having it show up on the FCC site. The certificate is good as long as it's framed and displayed above the Luke Unit in the BFL Museum of BS.

I think, the timing is the problem as there is two month delay even the 35 jala are shipped out.
I used to order 10G on April. In May, there is nothing to update. I use PAYPAL to fire up. Then the BFL has refunded the money I deposited as I don't think the being will be on my hands.
I am sorry, sir, but there is a bit of a language problem here. Are you saying: Your made an order in April; It did not ship in May; You had originally ordered with Paypal, and requested refund from them; BFL then refunded your order themselves. If that is not it, then please try again. Thanks. Believe it or not (probably not), you uncovered Jody's sock puppet. Note the chicken scratching. 是,升高位時,持有量少,即使是實物,也是相若. 現今, 我要重新考慮下一步, 我的心理價是120美元.

Boy, am I fucked up in the head! In spite of all the above, I like goat. Yet, when I discover a Bitcoin entity exercising 1% of the above, I attack with vile verbiage. Madness! <directed at myself>

So I ask, what happened to the trust anymore? If something doesn't go your way, and sounds too "Good" to be true, or you never did it before yourself, it's complete bullshit?
So, you assert that you found a security issue with some site and they refuse to acknowledge it? So, ... give them a reasonable time to fix it, then publish an alert here (with some info of where the vulnerability lies, or how the exploit works), if it doesn't get fixed. It worked so well last time with InstaWallet, let's do it again. If I recall with IW, there was an exploit issue of which a Bitcoiner was kind enough to reveal. Red flags were raised. The owners dismissed the findings. Then calm. Then poof! I like Eric, so I hope this is not his site that is being inferred to. Then again, I admired IW, albeit to a lesser degree, and look at how at least one of their owners treated me. Let's hope that whatever needs fixin' gets fixed.

Refunds from where?
Not BF Labs!

You're a mother fuckin' mind reader. The first time one of them BFLers say "No comment!", their mailbox will begin to get filled with even more refund requests. At least BFL will have one ace up their sleeve: Pay for more advertising on this forum to garner more sales. Remember last year when all the buzz was about working 24/7 on the holiday days? Name one day BFL had a full complement of workers at their facility on a holiday. Even better, name any day where crews working 24/7. As far as I can tell, there's still a swarm of locusts in the unemployment line, and that's only if the temp assemblers didn't ear them.

Taxing my memory, I think of seen the name Tatsuaki Okamoto before elsewhere. Now I gotta do some diggin'. It may have been associated with Ashish Gulhati, but not sure. EDIT: I was mistaken. I remember where I saw it. A recent thread on this board. But I did find this: http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/obj/s4/f2/dsk3/ftp04/NQ58975.pdfMaking Money

It may be difficult to honor exactly what you request, but your site http://www.asiconservachile.org/ sure does qualifyfor funding from Bitcoin 100. All that needs to be done on your part is to embed a Bitcoin donation option onto the site, and you're good to go. I understand Phinnaeus. I just sent out an email to our webmaster, and hopefully we'll have a button up within a few days. I'll check back in here once I'm sure that everything functions well. Thanks! Great! Ideally, it'll be great if you were able to use BitPay, especially if they're able to wave the transfer to fiat fees in your country. Of course we're only talking about a percent or two, but... Either way, a standard Bitcoin donation option button embedded with an address would suffice. Incorporating BitPay is not mandatory. If you were in the US I may insist upon it for it'll give them extra expose or save you the fees, but too wouldn't have been mandatory. Wish you luck. Please let us (Rassah, edd, and/or myself, if via PMs) know once it's up so that the wheels'll a get a goin' here. Please post in this thread as well for all to read. Thanks, bud.

To be fair it does state on their site that it's 2 months or more for the order to ship. All sales are final. Products are shipping.
Getting a customer to agree to something that is against federal regulations will not relieve BFL of complying with those regulations LDO. When a company offers a product for sale that is not in stock they must provide a definitive shipping date, I doubt many people think 2 months OR more is definitive. When the first delivery date is missed a new revised definitive delivery date must be given along with a reason for the delay. They must also obtain the customers approval for the first delay and EACH delay after (which they must also supply a definitive date and reason for). If they do not provide this info or obtain the customers consent they actually must refund the customer. The company must also cancel an order and issue a refund if the customer exercises any option to cancel the order BEFORE the product ships. In order for a sale to take place a person must pay for and receive a product (or service), until the customer receives his product (or it ships) a sale has not taken place and hence why it is called an order and not a sale yet, hence all sales are final in this situation is not applicable. Typically All Sales are Final refers to once a customer receives the product that they are then not able to return the product for a refund (after the sale has taken place). This is all my interpretation of what I have researched IANAL. http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus02-business-guide-mail-and-telephone-order-merchandise-rule For those who need glasses, he wrote...Getting a customer to agree to something that is against federal regulations will not relieve BFL of complying with those regulations LDO.

How long would it take them to get the appropriate certification(s) I wonder? If I had to guess I'd say about 14 days at least.

It's my understanding that if a person's specific unit isn't about to be shipped, then they're entitled to a refund via simply asking for one. If one is not given, then the supplier is breaking the law, a great song by Judas Priest, BTW.

I asked for a refund and was refused here is a copy of the email for your amusement. I am going to challenge paypal even though it has passed the 45 days because according to their terms you can not take money for products that they do not have to sell. So I will see what happens - not holding my breath though I am in the UK Quote From: Butterfly Labs Inc [ office@butterflylabs.com] Sent: Friday, July 05, 2013 5:49 PM To: Chris J R****** Subject: Re: Order Number 100034910 Thank you for contacting Butterfly Labs. Many thanks Chris R***** If BFL is not officially refusing to refund their customers, then they better get somebody in official capacity to state otherwise. And I don't mean user Inaba, albeit BFL_Josh would suffice. It's to their best interest to make a public statement on this forum stating their current policy on refunds, or... (haven't figured that part out yet ).
