8101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet recommendation on: March 23, 2017, 01:06:24 PM
Hi I'm newbie here.
Anyone can recommend a bitcoin wallet to me? I want to keep some bitcoins myself and can easily transfer out also.
Thanks.

In my opinion, I would recommed you coinbase and blockchain since they are both simple and easiest to use. Also, they are secured enough to hold your bitcoin. Though they added some charges for every transaction, it's still worth it to use since they are both convinient and friendly.
If OP does want to have fast transactions then web wallet is ideal but its risky compared to other wallets just like on desktop/pc wallet  and speaking with online wallets i would really recommend blockchain.info because this is safer compare on other wallet because you can already secure out your own wallet private keys which is good.
8102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 12:20:36 PM
Yes, when it reaches its low price because I cannot afford to buy coins and it is because of the wrong timing. When its low price I do not have enough to buy even just 1.

is down price wrong decesion buy is can lost, because bitcoin still down price
but if wrong selling in up trend is no problem because still profit but can't maximal profit
I do hardly understand on your grammar but i do understand on what you are trying to say and you are correct we can still buy bitcoins on cheaper price even if its not the lowest price but still a good thing as long we do make profits anytime even not too big but better than nothing at all.Predicting bitcoins price is really hard thing to do because we wont know on when it drop or rise.
8103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2017, 11:04:16 AM
I dont experience this yet but if ever that happen, maybe ill try to explain the good side of having it. but if he insist his objection i think there is nothing i can do if that person dont like bitcoin. we cant please everyone to do the same and we have our own beliefs. when it comes to online matter, they dont trust easily and you cant blame them for  it.
We cant really blame them since there are people who do really stick on their own views or beliefs which we cant change it no matter what. Telling the good side of bitcoin is always a good move or start on the explanation but we should also tell them the negative sides of it so that they would be aware.
8104  Economy / Securities / Re: Any Safe 1.5% Monthly? on: March 22, 2017, 02:03:16 PM
To invest money on something, consider safety first then talk about the return of investment. All investors only need profit when they invest on something, they don't care about the development of the company that they invest for. They just want their money grow. Choose the type of investment that definitely profit, even a small but regularly. Don't choose investment that offer too high return that seems too good to be true.

If investments do offer high returns then you should really think twice before putting up money on that site since these kind of offerings just do only exist on most scams do we know online but speaking on this investment which is 1.5% annual I could say it's really small to consider and wouldn't really attract possible investors.

Actually big offers means scam to me and i'm totally out of that offers since i know it is only a bait for us to invest, and 1.5% is so little and surely those who run that are only running a ponzi scheme since surely they can  sustain there business if they give such low ROI like that and for us to be safe well its truly better if we just put our money on banks since im very sure that we can earn at them rather than investing at unsure business out there.
Talking about investment i would definitely choose bank rather than on this one because 1.5% annual is achievable on time deposits on banks since in my place i do recieve 1.2% monthly which is really better and as you said there are still scams out there who runs on small profits but behind on that they are just ponzi schemes.

Bank would be the safest for us to stock our money and surely we cannot be deceived by them since they've got an insurance policy to their investors.

And i wouldn't suggest to invest on other online investment sites out here since surely 99.9% of them are scam and nothing else more than i can enumarate them. And much better to think of physical investment since im pretty sure that we wouod be rather safe on this since we are the one who's entitled to manage to gain some profits on our investments.
Me too,i would rather trust banks than other online investments specially to those who offer high returns on a short period of time and even on this one even though it states small rate of returns on your money but i could say banks would be better than this if they would give high returns then the next question would be the security and assurance of your money.
8105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hard is it really to make money on: March 22, 2017, 01:38:36 PM
hey,   i am thinking of learning to make money of bitcoin, i understand it takes alot of work, my question is to make money of btc etc and alternative courancies how much learning do i realistically have to do  and how much work and dedication, how hard is it to be succesfull?
Only yourself could able to answer this question because you can already see if you are earning money it can be consider as succesful and it does really need hard work for you to be able to make money just like on daily living which you would need to work hard on your day stable job to earn money just like here on bitcoin world you would need to learn and work hard to earn money and should not take things for granted.
8106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: March 22, 2017, 01:21:18 PM
There are many ways maybe by reading news about bitcoin like if a big company is going to adopt it the price may increase or by statistics of the past and growth rate percentage.
For me i don't spend so much time if i think the price is low i just buy more.
Basing on Fundamentals does really help on watching the price of bitcoin or any other coins in the market because news does always affect but not at all because there are some doesnt affect too much on the price but basing on these news is also a good tool on predicting prices.
8107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: March 22, 2017, 01:03:28 PM
It is number one because of its good quality and features that people really love to it. And it is more secure, secure than bank now.
Many people now involving their selves to it because they can see the bright future of bitcoin.

Good quality?  The inability to scale in large transaction? Is that what you call good quality?  Aside from that altcoins are more advance than bitcoin, though it was set aside because Bitcoin have a massive community because of it being the first mover to decentralized blockchain that makes Bitcoin popular.
Big community and many users of it which makes bitcoin as number one any other altcoin in the market and now BU is created it does somehow give some speculation and FUDS but i dont think it will replace bitcoin anytime soon even there are users would engage to it.
8108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2017, 12:37:23 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
If they say bad things about bitcoin then try to counter it or answer it on a nice way maybe he would able to understand and might change his view about bitcoin and this would depend on the explanation you would give.If they would resist then let it be and move on because there are people who doesnt really like to hear some explanations and i could say its a missing opportunity for them.
8109  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: March 22, 2017, 12:15:31 PM
I'm ready to pay up to $0.7 for a transaction and when they ask for $2 like it was recently I think it's too much. Hopefully the situation is changing for the better, because today I was asked for as low as $0.3 and after I paid the transaction received first confirmation in 40 minutes.
$2 would really be too much and same as yours im willing to pay up $0.1-0.4 in each transaction and im willing to wait for the confirmation time depend on the network situation im ready to wait as im sure that the transferred bitcoin would definitely go into my account since im not a busy man doing online transactions on fast pace basis.
8110  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: March 22, 2017, 11:14:18 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
Simple, you need a job of some sort. Then, once you get paid just buy BTC.

Yes that's the most accurate way of earning 0.1 BTC per week because it's quite hard if you don't have a stable source for this amount. But if you are going to work harder and you've got a lot of employers and projects, then possibly you can make this amount per week. Also if you can do trading that can make it more possible.
I believe I am a already making 0.1 bitcoin from trading.
I lost some bitcoin in trading. I never got any patient on trading. Investing in casino or in project was more ok then trading.

playing casino or gambling site is very high risk
and gambling risk is above trading risk, if you lost in trading maybe if not lucky you can lost much youre money, above lost in trading
You are just repeating into your words which commonly happen on either trading or gambling the risk of each one of them has its own level and i agree that gambling is more risky than trading but if you do trade without any knowledge then it can be considered as gambling too but trading doesnt fuly rely on luck too much but knowledge.

8112  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: March 20, 2017, 02:18:33 PM
I would suggest foods or goods  its okay to peole who look to your website or try selling Likes in social media example facebook, twitter, instagram or make online followers because now a days people focus on social media account

foods can only be sell for inside the city and if it sell for other city, then we need to think about the expired date. maybe goods will be the best solution if we want to build online store but we need to specify about what stuff we want to sell and for first time, i think you need to focus with one or two product then if your store is visited by more people then you can add more product.

As was said, to sell food isn't good because there is a limit date to sell it and you can lose too many products if they become worthless after the expire date. To sell "likes" can be good if you have the trick to do it, but it's a cheap service which won't return you much money and you will sell fake likes, that is not good for who wants to make a trusted reputation, principally in selling sites.

Selling food online will be the baddest idea since as you said people will not surely buy some foods online since we all knew that we've got a fake, unhealthy and foreign bacterias that we can get in there and also expiry date will be the saddest issue since surely on flies will eat your food business if you want it to push on. we just need to think on another alternatives since we are in cyberworld mate and just make sure that alternative will not gonna expire and will last for long times just like computer goods or gadgets.
Correct this is the baddest idea on thinking up about business online since food are perishable and should be delivered on the buyer on a short period of time and also there no much people do order food online since they can able to buy it directly locally without the hassle of ordering online and actually it's really a non sense thing to buy food online which you can't be sure if it's clean or not and as arwin said better focus on gadgets or any other related to technology.
8113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam site https://payticoins.com on: March 20, 2017, 01:36:47 PM
Why do use of new exchangers since there are lots of reputable ones? I didn't heard about this exchanger and regarding to the amount you lost I do fee sad since it's already a large amount of money.just try to email them frequently regarding on th transaction you made and if they don't give feedback for how many days or weeks then they are sure scam.
8114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: March 20, 2017, 01:10:49 PM
My first experience with bitcoin is thru faucets since I was a newbie previous years I feel nervous from the first time I engage with it because I don't really know what to do and how to earn bitcoin from the very first place but luckily sooner I have discovered this forum and give me good learnings on all stuffs related to bitcoin.
I think it's the most popular when we are just a newbie in the bitcoin world, we think we can make easy money in faucets without exerting too much of our effort. Good thing we explored more and we mature in life, we found out that there is a better way to earn that we do not need to spend more time like we allocate with faucets, this forum really helps me a lot, I learn every earing opportunity and now I'm picking up my interest which is trading.
True, most of us surely engage to faucets when we are newbie and you are right we do explore new things as the day goes and luckily we found out this forum which is really a big help in our crypto currency career and we still keep on learning and same as your I do learn about trading which I gain idea from the people's experience and the same time some trading lessons here.

8116  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase really a bad website to make a wallet on? on: March 20, 2017, 05:22:47 AM
Coinbase is inherently unstable - when you hold coins with Coinbase they are not your coins and you know that, like Mt. Gox your exchange wallet, which is basically their promise to let you use Bitcoins, could go down at any time.  What makes this all the more terrifying is their slow support and the fact that they often suspend accounts for any illegal activity or even minor things like gambling.
YES, that is the point- If your account are connected of any illegal activity like gambling attempt or don't follow their tos, then must be ready accept any reaction from that site, that you have been using earlier. Of course, it is very important to secure and maintain rules of any bitcoin wallet, not only coinbase.
Thats the reason why i dont use coinbase wallet after all because of its ToS which really restrict us on some other things and why would bother if there are good alternatives on having a web wallet?Just like on blockchain which you can use anytime you want and anything you want to do from it.Theres no restrictions which i do really love.
8117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: March 20, 2017, 04:54:09 AM
Have you tried going to places and get hungry but you have no cash available with only bitcoins in your smartphone. Here are the list of bitcoin accepting restaurants that will feed your stomach with delicious cooking in exchange for bitcoins. This is a sign that bitcoin is truly amazing that even restaurants and pizza stores have seen its value and started to include in its payment options.

Check the list on this link: http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/
Here in our country only few restaurants accepting bitcoins as mode of payments. Well you can count them on one hand the restaurants accepting them and only in one particular city, that's why I never tried to use my bitcoins for foods. But still waiting for other famous restaurants to accept bitcoin in their mode of payments list. Grin
Good for you that there are restaurants on your place which do accept bitcoin which is really great for a place on where there are bitcoin users but for me even theres a shop nearby on my place i wont still use my bitcoin just for food but better to use fiat and save up bitcoin its much wiser to do so but still depends on an individual.
8118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: March 20, 2017, 04:06:39 AM
Predictions with bitcoin's next bump is simply impossible. Because very few makes a prediction that's somehow realistic, others just make something similar to dreaming. I believe to experience the next bump we need to hold long as the price haven't got stabilized.
Bitcoins prize stabilization wont really happen since we do know the movement of it from time to time and we witnessed previously or yesterdays price drop which we dont really expect and for sure there are major factors that do affect that sudden price drop and im sure no one expect that one.
8119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOU REALIZE OR NOT ? on: March 20, 2017, 03:39:40 AM
Yes I realize that it is now very much gambling with payment tool such as bitcoin and altcoin. In some gambling sites who previously use payment with a credit card is now also started use bitcoin and altcoin as a payment tool. Far as I know this happened because bitcoin payments could keep personal information (anonymous) so that it is more sought many gamblers, it is more safer and does not need to worry about theft of information like a credit card.
The problem with those sites that also accept fiat is that you can deposit with bitcoins but if you want to withdraw your money then you need to give all kind of information that is why it is way better to just play in a casino which only accepts bitcoin or other altcoins as a form of payment.
This is true thats why i do avoid those gambling sites that do accept still on fiat same with bitcoin because they would still need information of yours when you do plan to withdraw your funds which isnt good at all if you really like to be anonymous on playing gambling online thats why its wise to play on bitcoin-only based gambling sites.
8120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex: Suspending my withdrawals until Level 2 verification. on: March 20, 2017, 03:09:36 AM
I use a VPN service.

I signed up with Poloniex and deposited a fair amount of BTC. I only transact using crypto, no fiat. I exchanged some BTC for ETH, withdrew some of it, but then my account got locked down and I was told to link my other accounts (I have none). I have a dedicated IP address, so it's not shared.

Poloniex is now telling me to verify my account at level 2. They would like my passport number, pictures of my ID, all of my personal information, all because I use a VPN.

Based on what I am told, they will not allow me to withdraw until I have provided such information.

There are 2 things that I understand here, first it's not bad to use a VPN for these services but the bad part of this is that if other people use VPN too then you might have used the same IP as someone else to login in their website which the system sees that there are more than 1 account from the same IP which poloniex does not allow, or you have to link them to have the overall same limit like in one account. What is left is to verify your account, unfortunately, there is no other choice.

I hear ya, and like I said, I understand that Polo may require me to submit my info, it's just infuriating and I want others to be wary.
Thanks for this information and i think this thing doesnt only happen to you but some experienced this on the past which i could remember too they use VPN and when they do the same process/steps of yours their account have been locked and asked for supporting documents. It maybe really irritating but we cant do anything about it if you dont obey then say goodbye to your bitcoin.
