Clearly you have no clue what you are writing, can't read and can't be arsed to do your own research/tests...it's like talking to a wall. Have fun with your life
Oh yes it is the simplest way to do that way.  Grin But you won't look smarter then you are.
It is the majority that have no clue, no interest, they sit still on their asses and are satisfied with what they get. The less you know the happier you are. Grin
If you can't answer the questions then pass by. Questions are ritorical - 99% don't know answers to them, because to have an answer you should be able to read the code of POS.

Hello
What does the POS info means?
I see:
My weight - 730
Network weight - 4365
Time - 2minutes

Of course I don't receive anything in 2 minutes. I don't think these numbers are correct.
How to fix that?
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: September 18, 2017, 05:09:22 PM
1. Having it on minimum or 2 days wont increase your pos block rewards. Stakemintime is deactivated with stakemindepth configured...and no no quotioent
2. Dunno could be either, you just have to wait and see
3. Well 1 Input with 5k weight has more weight then 1 with 250, but that 1 5k wont stake for 24h if it gets a pos block and also start at 0 weight while if one of the 20 inputs get a pos block, 19 other still staking
    # so technically if only those 2 were staking, the one with more inputs gets more rewards
    # min is 400 and max is 4000 for split and half of that for combine
4. well it wont be split then

1) And you still gave no answer or gave wrong, because having it on minimum will always maximize your chances to win. So what is the reason for this setting to exist if setting it bigger than 24 makes things only worse?
2) Wait and see because dev is not able to explain. Nice.
3) You are definetly wrong. Even it sample config it is not 400-4000
stakecombine=40
stakesplit=80
And you didn't answer the question. Once again. Both varians have 5000coins
a) 1 input * 5000 coins
b) 250 inputs*20 coins
Which variant has more chances to win POS (the first POS block. I'm not speaking about sequent blocks).
4) Where it is written? So that means that you will get stuck with big inputs with x16dayscoins if they didn't win POS before that?
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 18, 2017, 12:46:50 PM
This thread has really slowed down...

I'd like to try some new mods.

Interested in the Xevan miner

you and everyone else on the green team Cheesy
Sadly we need to wait for someone to open source ccminer code on XEVAN before SP can do his thing, so as of now, there is nothing Cheesy  funny how that goes, it would be SUPER profitable to write imo if someone did/could

It isn't easy. Palgin said it requires at least 10-15days of work exactly knowing what to do (It is just to make it work on nvidia GPU)

well, it's just a matter of extending the x17 algos to 1024 bits, which in most cases is just repeating a call and setting the padding.
the most boring part is looking for info on how to set the padding correctly (or looking at the cpu code to guess it).
I think it should take max one day for a decent cuda programmer.
I thought of doing it a lot of times, but I always had something more fun and more profitable to do.
Ghmm. You've just spend time on fixing xcn wallet which is close to death. Smiley That was more profitable?

826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 18, 2017, 12:18:51 PM
I actually never saw a single 1080Ti running without crashing with mem above +500. Most of them have problem with +400...
OTOH , the only 2 GTX-1080 (Not Ti) I have can run with +700 without crashing.
When everyone will understand that there is no +XXX on one GPU equal to +XXX on another?
Especially if you set P0 state.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: September 18, 2017, 12:13:46 PM
1. stakemintime is disabled if stakemindepth is set
    # also it depends on your overall configuration together with input count, number of coins per input
    # having it at 1 day is not needed imo
    # at 1 day the weight for the input is 0, even setting mindepth at 2880 for 2 days, 400 coin input will have only 400 weight
    # you can let it be on 1 day, but don't think those 1-2 days old inputs will get pos block or even with 4 days
    # so for me it's for the clarity/visibility of using the more usefull inputs that may get a pos block and to show the weight of it

2. shows how many inputs are at those stages, as I haved moved inputs a lot, all of mine are still min age, avg age should be about 8 days
    # yes they have different weight, cause weight increases with coinage, so at max eight the input has the max weight it can get

1) Don't you think that you didn't answer the question? Probability is possibility so it is no sense to put anything more than minimum, unless this "stakemintime" is used if formula as some quotient and setting it to 16 will give you more "weight".
2) Avgage is exactly 8days (or the midddle between Max-Min) or it is the inner third period(6-11)?
3) 250*20 or 5*1000 or 1*5000 which one has more chances to win 1 POS (or they are equal)? What is the max-min of stakesplit? 20 - xxx? If the chances are equal than default 80 is false. The same with stakecombine.
4) it is written "Additionally if  the input was bigger than stakesplit (default: 400 ) and coinage was not max ( 16 days ) they will be split in 2 halfs"
So if coinage is max then what?

829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: September 18, 2017, 10:27:02 AM
What are you looking for?
you can adjust your stakeminetime to 24 so your  coins start staking soon (won't make much of a difference at this point with 81+mil coins)
your stakemiedepth and stakeminetime fight with each other, I am unsure whom overrides whom if you have both I believe from what I have seen it is the 1000 confirmations override the 24 hours.
The stakecombine and stakesplit depend on how many coins you have and what YOU think will be the more likely size of transactions to stake. you can use coin control under send if you have the option enabled to create more inputs to help improve your chances but it would only be a tiny tiny  percent as the wallet is going to break your transactions down in size to match your split number over time and coinweight rules the day.

so if you had 1000 coins and only  adding in the 100 for POS with your current settings its will keep dividing your coins
first POS reward 1000 +100 would yield to a stack of 550 and a second stack of 550
one of those 550 get a result of 550+ 100 that would split into 325 and 325 plus you would still have your other 550 from the first split
coin weight on the 325 reset and the second 550 continue to grow, this keeps going by adding 100 for the POS, resetting the weight on the finding stack and splitting down to the size you have set.

you could put your combine to big units if you think the network will deal with bigger chunks, it might help you. Its hard to say your coin amount, the size of the transaction to stake along with up to 16 days of additional coin weight with luck added on top.

you are NOT going to get even a 1% advantage but finetuning your settings you are going to likely get a .000001% unless you are on the 100 rich list with over 100K coins and even then you still won't get an advantage greater than your coin count in the first place.

How would a simple guy know this, he would read the 50 pages of this thread, and talk to people on slack and telegram and he would play around with the wallet to see if one wallet setting works better than another.

I am on slack all the time as well as in the telegram group. if you are still confused by what has been said in these places ask your questions, experiment, see what others have found, but you are not going to ninja all the POS rewards.

-TC

Ok here are simple questions for not a simple guy.
1) What's the profit to set "stakemintime" 16days and not 1 or 2 or 7? What's the difference except that the staking will start later (if 16 is set) and you loose 16 days of staking?
2) What's the difference betweek minage avgage and maxagecoins? Do they have different weight or for what it is shown?
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 17, 2017, 03:30:42 PM
Those mining SIGT, do you actually make the amount whattomine estimates? I'm running 4 1080 ti cards and only made ~100 coins in 12 hours when I'm estimated at 150. Mining at a steady 190mh/s and using suprnova pool

I and another user from this forum recently had a nice chance to test our rigs: 1080 ti x5

Same pool, same hashrate and 0% rejection for both rigs. Tests took 3 full days.

On average he made around 110 coins more per day than I did.
Isn't it obvious that something was not the same?

From Denarius price lol
They didn't took the time to remove DNR change rate in the wallet (but I guess they don't even know how to do).
Full amateurish...

Maybe some day 1 satoshi will be 4$. Who knows...
Don't wait. I'm ready to sell 100 for 4$ each. Deal?
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: September 17, 2017, 08:33:28 AM
the opening post doesnt state how to stake coins.
i need a step by step guide.
thank you
You won't get it. I think that even dev doesn't know how it exactly works.

It's literally in the first post. How to set it up and a walkthrough of what all the options do.
One, the two steps for setting up staking already laid out for you in the announcement.

Quote
Create a file called Trezarcoin.conf (needs to be config File ) and place it into your /TrezarCoin/Data Folder.

irc=1
dns=1
qtstyle=2
daemon=1
server=1
stakegen=1
logtimestamps=1
minersleep=2000
stakemindepth=1000
stakemintime=72
stakecombine=40
stakesplit=80
port=17298
rpcport=17299
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

And two, the dev explains what all the parameters do in the announcement.

Go FUD somewhere else please, lets try and keep this post constructive.
It is enough for simple guys like you. But there is no explanation of the difference between settings in terms of profit.

The best time to start mining alt begin,when this coin add to the good exchanges: Cryptopia,Nova,Yobit etc... we calculate our profit ant begin mining with happy faces Wink Smiley

The best time to mine Altcom is now, before it hits bigger exchanges, the rewards are 1 per block and as the difficulty rises you get less. so if you do mine when it hits bigger exchanges the difficulty will be so high, that it will not be so profitable for smaller miners.
Profitability has no correlation with the "size" of miner. It is profitable or not - point.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 16, 2017, 06:48:18 PM
Want to try monero( criptonight ) mining with my 1080ti

What best( free) miner for this ? I saw there is a cryptonight version of ccmienr but dated of 2014
Edit : found !

XmrMiner

Don't even try. It's the same as Ethereum mining. That is for red VGAs.
In case you will do, just remember you have to OC your memory instead of GPU

Bullshit 1080tis get +850h/s with -500 mem clock under 800h/s on stock mem clock.
And what is bullshit? That 1080ti performs just as an old 7990? That much cheaper RX480/580 outperforms it?
Or that it is only 20-25% better than 1070 in cryptonight?
Ethash (without dual),Cryptonight and Neoscrypt are very bad algos for 1080/ti
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### A ChainWorks Industries (CWI) Project - SweepStakeCoin | Fast Fun Secure on: September 16, 2017, 05:25:29 PM
So can anyone tell me what is the practical use of this coin? I read the original thread and this thread almost completely but couldn't find it.

Just this
Quote
Question 1: There are many altcoins now, what's special about this coin?
Answer: This is the first coin that provides sweepstake features and entirely running securely on the TOR network, so completely protect your privacy.

Don't get me wrong, I am not insulting or anything and I like this coin but I just want to know if there really is some practical use for this coin. I think that coins without any practical use are - well - just coins. With just being a coin there can't be any value or it will be minimal. In the bigger picture only the coins with some practical use will succeed when cryptocurrencies are taken to use by big masses.

I want to know this because I have been mining this for a while and just now I began to wonder is it worth it. Price is now almost zero and if there are not any hopes for future price rising, it's just not worth it.

Cheers to devs and all. Hopefully this coin will the one to succeed, atleast this has some great devs and they are here for long term Smiley
I'd be more concerned whether CWI took too much? They run several coins - none of them is successful - actually I've learned about their existence in their pool.
They released nice miner, and have a decent pool with rather low %. But it was 1.5 months ago. Since then lack of communication and any news about the ongoing process practically kills. They took Sweep but haven't released even a wallet with correct nodes. Does it require much work to do? Of course not. They have sweep on their pool, but it is not working. So what was the point of getting another coin?
They have a countdown timer on site wich shows 30 days now but no clue for what.
For the moment that is all.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 15, 2017, 07:23:25 PM
Correct, the -u really means -wallet.  Even if you have a bunch of stuff incorrect, the powershell window should at least open and stay open.  It sounds like something going on with windows.  Which version do you have?

Win 7 x64
It's very stable running Claymore, CCminer or EWBF, all card settings are good and never had any problems
It's simple - you don't have Powershell 5.0
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 15, 2017, 06:54:28 PM
why you dont read the readme from the github ??

I don't think it's up to date.
First of all it's saying "Place your Bitcoin address after -u in StartSniff.bat", but there is no "-u" there, there is only "-wallet"(which i think is the same)
And i followed exactly step by step the readme file. But after launching it crashes right away.
Also it has opened double-quotes but never closed them: ..."&.\SniffDog.ps1... - i don't know if thats the case.
Thats why i'm asking if someone could share version of the file which is working for them.

It is little problem with multiminer clones - miners used in them are not the best.  Wink

It's worthless.

People here so dumb. They know that this is 100% scam, they got all the facts and still mine it.

Well i guess natural selection works.

P.S. Ppl, it's not FUD - it is simple the truth - dev is the scammer, coin is a scamm. Stop support scam
No no no. Don't stop. Mine mine mine this very good coin. Spend your hash on it. Mine. It is very very good coin.
