821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most weird thing you bought with crypto? on: October 31, 2023, 06:18:24 AM
I bought some toys online with it and one of the best moments I spent bitcoins with because I've been a fan of Gundam since I was a kid and to be able to buy it from my own hard work, is something like a beautiful memory you will never forget in your whole life. Although I wasn't able to complete the collection, I was happy to find some person who is willing to trade it with bitcoins.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Profit And Conscience on: October 31, 2023, 05:52:47 AM
He needs to weigh whatever is good for him because sometimes when a person loses every source of income and he only finds the best way to resolve it is to swallow his pride and forget his conscience, he will gonna do so because of how hard life is. I think it is best to just do whatever he can through the means that he won't have any problem with his morals even if the profit is not that big because, throughout time, he will gonna forget his morals and will just simply embrace his new source of income because he will find it hard to let it go because he already used to it. Right now, while his conscience is still there, he needs to make up his mind and do the right things.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP airdrop incoming for the Uphold users on: October 31, 2023, 05:24:22 AM
I think the title should be changed considering it's not really an airdrop rather just a raffle draw for those who will trade on their exchange. I don't know what's catching there but it really looks like they're just alluring users to trade on them rather than with a  possible airdrop.

I think this is their way to make their investors stay and just get a small amount of people to try their exchange because compared to the other offers from their competitors, this is nothing and they won't gonna just simply make a huge impact with it, rather it's just another thing to keep their exchange alive and well. unlike any other coins out there that don't have any development or progress at all, this is good in terms of making their investors trust them more according to their progress on their exchange.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 30, 2023, 07:18:47 AM
It was really a surprise that Francis Ngannou is able to take Tyson Fury's heavy punches and is able to fight Tyson Fury toe to toe.  I have Ngannou winning on that fight and the best result for Fury is a draw.  This simply show how corrupt the boxing judging system is.  The result is very disappointing but of course boxers and audience have to accept it.

A rematch is really needed on this one and probably next time Ngannou will be declared the winner(if the fight comes into a decision). to make the need for another fight to milk more money to the viewers.

He should not have become overhyped after he knocked him down because it clearly gave Tyson some seconds to recover, he should have taken the opportunity to finish him with multiple power punches after the knockdown. But he didn't finish him and lost that fight because he didn't totally knock him out. when you are the challenger, you should aim for the knockout and not gonna give your opponent to chance to give the judges the decision because most of the time, they will just simply snatch the win from you and this is boxing also this is not the first time this is happened.
825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The common saying Health is wealth on: October 30, 2023, 06:15:10 AM
Only people who do these kinds of stuff are those who go home after work and instead of buying essential things, they choose to buy alcohol and drugs until they lose their main capital which is their health and they eventually just become incapable of working anymore because they don't have any strength to do so. In the community where I lived in the past, there were more people that are addicted to drugs which led them to become broke after they could not find a job due to some health issues. That's why, those people who look after their mental and physical health are really awesome because they really care about their future and their families.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 30, 2023, 05:50:26 AM

Just good coaching for Sacramento. They put fresh legs in during overtime. They were the better team. Fox was the best player in this game. The Kings played without Fox and Sabonis in overtime, and the Lakers still found a way to lose. 😁😁 Los Angeles Lakers should've kept Schroeder. Dlo and Vincent had no impact.

That's just how they are when considering they are in need of that win, they just blow it out and lose the game. But this is just the start of the season and everyone is most likely building some chemistry in order to execute great plays in their future games the Lakers should learn from this huge mistake they had and not repeat it again because they exactly knew how hard it is to chase the playoffs spots when they are left behind and needed to play in the curse play-in tournament just they did last season.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: October 30, 2023, 05:20:31 AM
Doing all my banking on a social media app would feel really awkward. You'll be able to shitpost about Trump while taking out a loan so you can invest in Dogecoin all at the same time but why would anybody want that though? How many people would be comfortable giving all their personal info and financial data to this website, which has been a complete trainwreck since Elon Musk's takeover.

This is how hard it could be because anyone who is capable of hacking their system will be able to get all the personal details of their client which is not really good because it could make a person's life miserable once his personal information is used for illegal activities. It's too early to predict that but because this is Elon Musk's words, it could make a big impact on others and they might actually believe him because of the progress he made in his companies. People mostly care about the achievement of a person rather than doing their own personal research about their investment.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 30, 2023, 04:40:23 AM
It really isn't necessary for us to tell people about our gambling habits or activities even with friends or family. I, too, live along with my parents and I have never told them my gambling activities online but I'm sure they're aware that I'm gambling as I casually visit local casino malls. Its not really about being discriminated by my family or friends but rather it's something that isn't necessary to talk about unless you've hit jackpots.

I think it's not the same situation when it comes to other people because like for example in our country, parents are more responsible for their children and always look for them whenever they are not around, and guess what? they always knew what they were up to and sometimes they found them in the gambling den along with their friends. that's why it depends because you cannot just hide it when you have that kind of parents who always look after you. I remember my friend got beaten badly by his dad after he was found gambling with cards along with the adults in the other village.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a “safe haven asset” on: October 30, 2023, 04:17:03 AM
I think in some countries other assets are more vulnerable because of how their governments control them and when you compare it to holding bitcoins, it's more praise-worthy than having a piece of land that you can't use for some reason. I think Bitcoin is a blessing to have right there and anyone can have it as long as they know how to securely keep it and prevent others from dictating when they will need to sell it because the owner has all the free will when he wants to sell it. Also, it is the safest asset to have when you need to migrate from place to place because you could just simply pretend that you don't have anything while you are bringing with you thousands of dollars worth of Bitcoins.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 27, 2023, 02:28:23 AM

Next up is BNB. I think this coin from the Binance exchange is also quite promising for future bullish preparations. apart from the market cap, perhaps you could say that BNB is still quite affordable if we want to buy some.

One of the best altcoins available out there is definitely BNB because it has the capability of keeping its platform always updated and continuously developing it to keep up with its competitors as a matter of fact, they are still one of the top exchanges despite its beep with the SEC due to some legal matters but overall, they are not getting affected by it and once they clear it out, surely BNB will increase its price again just like before and in this bitcoin halving season, it will be best to consider buying some of it before the price will become expensive again.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 27, 2023, 02:00:26 AM
I cant wait to see Lillard and Giannis, its gonna be the start of one of the most prolific duo in NBA history if they can match and have good chemistry.

In other things, yesterday it was not so good start for the young star of Spurs, i think he need to catch the NBA pace.

So far so good for both of them but the 76ers still not giving up easily in this game, it looks like a preview of the NBA playoffs in these two teams will dominate the Eastern Conference once again. I never thought BJ Tucker and Patrick Beverley were on the same team now, The 76ers just got themselves some real contributing defensive players this time no wonder the Bucks cannot stretch their leads further more before the 3rd quarter. now that the 76ers lead because of their high-class defense, no wonder they don't need James Harden in this away game because they can take any opponent with this team right now.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: October 27, 2023, 01:32:27 AM

It's not a complete solution, but it's worth a try. Why do I say this is not a complete solution? The reason is simple, we make settings to block access to websites, so we can unblock access if we want to play. If it's a mobile application, we can uninstall it, but one day we can also reinstall it. Making settings like this can be tried, but I'm sure, if someone are really addicted, he will make the settings inactive whenever he wants.

One thing he can effectively do when he wants to stop himself from always visiting the website is a keypad phone because no matter how much he craves to play, he can't do anything about it because he has just lost access to it. This step is recommended for some people who are addicted to porn but it may be effective for a person who is addicted to online gambling as well because he no longer sees any advertisement concerning it. But considering the fact we are living in a world full of technology, this is just temporary and when he finally forgets everything, he can just simply resume using his smartphone.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the increase in Bitcoin price benefits us on: October 27, 2023, 12:58:19 AM
Whenever the price increase, of course, it will benefit everyone who is involved in the crypto industry because bitcoins is gaining more trust and investors which is the best news you can have right now. Since there is lots of good news going on, there's no reason for it to decrease its price. the only people who are badly affected by this event are those who are hostile against Bitcoin because no matter what propaganda they spread among the people, the fact that they are not making any progress really hurts them because no matter what they do, people still invest and buy some more bitcoins to hold for long term.
834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Raising children in this current society on: October 26, 2023, 12:03:48 PM
In other countries that have a failed society, other parents are considering home school because the schools that they used to trust are not reliable anymore when it comes to teaching their children the right way. Thankfully, this is not the case in our country because we still have schools that are strictly teaching children real education from their childhood until college in the universities. We still have the traditional atmosphere when going to school despite countless brainwashing all around the world and that's because our government is still active and well when it comes to updating the children about their educations and needs.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 11:30:15 AM
The same happened to the person I know when he used the money that had been entrusted to him just because he was full of himself that he gonna win the bet that day. But gambling is not to be trusted when it comes to money needed to buy your essential needs and when he regret his decision, it is too late because he lost the money that supposed to buy supplies for his friend's store and he doesn't have any means to pay it and after that, he just lose a friend and took a loan to pay his debt because it was a huge amount of money that he just wasted. I wonder if their wedding will still be done in the future but if it was me, I would count it as a red flag and quit becoming his bride.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: October 26, 2023, 11:01:43 AM
I don't trust memecoin. Because after coming to the market these coins first show huge hype and then after some time they turn into shitcoins. So investing in these coins is very risky. Even your total investment may be over. These are basically funcoins that exist today but not tomorrow.

This only applies to those meme coins that are created only to join the current trend and they don't have any further plans to develop their project due to the fact that they don't have any roadmaps that have some real contributions to solve some world issues today. therefore, their only aim is to confuse other investors who are looking for some new meme coins to invest their money with, and as soon as they fool them, they will just suddenly disappear and leave their investors waiting for nothing at all. That's why it is best for new investors to avoid such projects because it is a total gamble to invest in such projects due to the fact that they will gonna just disappear once they get some huge money from their investors.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 26, 2023, 10:22:03 AM
Speaking of the best players in the league. Shams Charania is reporting that the 2024 NBA All Star game will return to the East vs West format. I think this is important for the future of the All Star game if they want to start tying finals incentives like home court advantage to the outcome of the All Star games to up competitiveness.

I missed this format because this is how I watched them when I was growing up and it was really not that much of a difference because those other star players when they are with the other stars from the other teams, always become super team that could beat anybody because of how great they play when they are with some high rating players. that's why they are also not that easy to predict because they can really beat each other without a doubt. East vs West in this era will be much more fun than the last format they used.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 26, 2023, 09:58:41 AM

But how can you guarantee the OP that the price will continue to increase until $40k in December since he said he could only invest for 4 or 5 months before school starts?  not to mention, is it correct to invest bitcoin with money for daily needs, and what will happen to him if bitcoin does not increase to 40k$ but falls to 20k$?  the current price is still worth buying, and it is never too late to invest, but other factors such as idle cash and investment time should also be considered as there is no guarantee in the short term that bitcoin will continue to increase.

The OP might just simply speculate due to the movement of the price without considering the fact that it could also be decreasing in the upcoming months because Bitcoin halving is not yet done. the real bull run will start after it and only a small movement of the price increases when the time like this because there are a lot of good news that currently going on and many other investors are waiting for the right time to enter the market before and they seem to enter right now because they are witnessing the price is increasing right now and it might be the last time we see it at this rate this year as well.
839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2023, 11:46:05 PM
What you need right now is basic knowledge because that's all that matters when you already have the money to buy some bitcoins. After you successfully create a personal wallet using Electrum, all you need to do is to know how to secure it and prevent yourself from unnecessary panic which is created by some people who are hostile against bitcoins whenever the price in the crypto market has changed dramatically. Therefore, you need some patience and perseverance in order to achieve your goal and multiply your investment if you are aiming for the next Bitcoin bull run.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: October 25, 2023, 09:10:48 AM

most gamblers, especially those who have just started gambling, often fall into this when they first get a winning streak. they try to increase their winnings by playing continuously and unfortunately most of them end up losing.

That's exactly what's happening and the mysterious fact is, that most of those who have losing streaks are more addicted to gambling than those people who actually have some wins streaks. It's really hard for them to consider stopping their habits because they don't really have any ambitions especially those people who are poor who continue to gamble because for them, it's just an endless loop of way of life and they don't have anything to do at all after work. That's why in our country, other fathers love their roosters that are used for cockfighting more than their children because, for them, that's their life and pride.
