those of you in ##Cinnicoin, I appreciate your dedication. We can't say much to counter FUD, we will instead let the coin stand on it's own merits. If it goes down further temporarily, that only means that it will be going back up that much further once the technical stuff gets all wrapped up and released. Cinnicoin is planning some technical innovations that have never been done anywhere in the crypto scene and the price will reflect that.

well gonna see 5k sometime today
Thats right. already under 7k. 30 BTC will take it to 700 satoshi. so sad... where is Dev?... ;o check the github, you can see he busy working on the wallet and bug fixing I also noticed something about checkpoints is there but might be a good idea to mention somewhere "official" that users should stick with previous wallet version as its stable, and that the latest one with coincointrol be considered a development/test version and not for general use.

can someone provide me the nodes for the wallet.
it s the only wallet i get problem of sync.
i need to setup a .conf file to solve this
addnodes should not be needed and there no reason for using a conf unless you want disable the splash or adjust something from default settings. if you having problems syncing, try deleting peers.dat and restart the walletqt. also check nothing is blocking the wallet like antivirus/firewall/peerblock etc

I tried to use the old wallet, pos blocks are not shown up on cinnichain.info
if you didnt use a backup/virgin copy of your wallet.dat then the orphans will stay logged in your wallet.dat from the other client. just ignore it or you can export the privkeys and import into a new wallet.dat to clean it up. you will not lose any coins, and will be able to restake the "orphans" by leaving it open. I just tried to export privkeys and import into a new wallet and i thought I had backed up my wallet.dat yesterday I am a noob and it turns out it was an old backup of my wallet.dat, does this mean that any coins i sent to addresses generated after the backup are gone forever? i'm not sure what you mean. i was meaning the PoS orphans that stay in teh wallet.dat. the blockchain doesnt record those, but they stay in the wallet.dat making oversized and cluttered. you use the method above, or revert to an older wallet (that contains the same addresses) as way to clean it out. Any coins you have sent will be at the addresses you sent them to, so you need import the privatekey for those if they are newer addresses you created after the backup wallet.dat .

well i will pledge donation of 1,000,000 CC to be paid on release of fixed wallet and source, and confirmed that blockchain is working again. it wont go to the moon, but a fixed wallet and blockchain moving again could be enough to get out of satoshi hell and potential dev/s please feel free to blacklist any premine the old "dev" might still have stashed. also incase no one notice one of the exchanges where this is traded already removed a bunch of 0 volume coins and only reason CC is still there is because there it still has some people trading it or at least placing buy orders for it.

launching with -rescan didn't recover my coins any other suggestions? wonder how old my most recent backup is Export your privatekey/s using dumpprivkey. quit the walletqt, rename wallet.dat to wallet.old. restart walletqt, and then importprivkey <CinniCoinprivkey> [label] into the newly created wallet using the console.

|
|
How to use rescan? Can't find it in console
you add to the cmdline when or create a shortcut with -rescan added to it. but i dont think its necessary to do, just quit and restart the wallet after it fully syncs.

ive changed back, still waiting for sync though to see if this sorts it out...
Edit: synced, and ive lost 334 cinni, blockchain says its there but it isn't present in the wallet
So you have synced the old wallet also and have missing coins ? what about the PoS coins from since the update did they confirm on the old wallet ok ? If anyone has a official link/post to the old wallet would be great, gonna try syncing that and see what happens here with it. I uploaded it here, CinniCoin-qt.7z 6.0 MB https://mega.co.nz/#!FJJURLpB!M2VkclW4eguLsRJD02RIm5lI69hMJ9XI301v-BDoCcI this is the one i'm using, its the same as official. you can confirm for youself on virustotal the exe file and see its the same release as was previously posted https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/63e34aa880482e24f48626c486163a3fc4538451041e969e6bf9fa7628af31c9/analysis/also a blockchain here Yes, thank you, I would be very grateful
ok i uploaded blockchain here, its upto block 111432 and is the same as official blockexplorer. https://mega.co.nz/#!9V5nBabR!537pjaw8IElGiDex5T55Qoox4-jXwPSew634OuYIk4A after you download copy the contents of 7z files to your cinni data folder (delete everything in there except wallet.dat.) reload walletqt. might take a few minutes to load so just wait

if blockchain says it there, then you need to rescan so wallet corrects and adds in any transactions use -rescan but you might also just try reloading the wallet after sync, as it seems to do some reindexing on load and corrects balances in wallet.

previous version of wallet (without coincontrol) works perfectly, i've been generating stake all day with it, and have confirmed they exist on official block explorer site along with transactions i sent as test. i also uploaded a blockchain in a previous post if anyone needs it. if anyone needs the previous version of win walletqt i can upload that somewhere as well.

At this time sent to minpal 3898.965422 cinni/Block Explorer does not accept txid - df970520aaff401316aa903279cdf7283c0657cc4f1c7ec1996d7c84a1ea9d0b It seems that this is a problem block explorer Do not put your coins while developers do not find the cause of failureare you using the new wallet? I'm still using the previous version (does not include coincontrol). and have had no issues yet. its possible the new wallet has some bugs, so if u switch back to the previous should be okay and no coins missing. (they will be returned after resync/reindex if they do not exist on official blockchain) i think it maybe its the new wallet, not a block explorer/blockchain problem. especially since you were able to send before and that show on the official block explorer same as the other test transactions i made. You can switch back until the dev checks it out as it the coincontrol version is optional update Did u try to send coins to mp by the old wallet? yes it works fine. and i dont think any of the exchanges updated yet as it was optional update
