Wow. in 3 days we go from top 5 to barely in top 50.

At least I got to buy some dip.

charas is fucking gross. Why would anyone want to smoke skin cells, skin oil and probably fecal matter in their hash?

Same goes for Jamaican gum.

There will always be a place in my heart for good Nepalese balls though, and even Malani (Manali) cream.

I figure if you're smoking it you're sterilizing it.

...some of my home pressed hash...
How do you make your hash? pollom or extract?

Ice hash from fine sieve bags.

I don't use tobacco either just a simple pipe.

I'm just not used to it everyday, like some of you guys.

Tried the butane method through a perfume extractor, but lots of problems, obtaining odorless butane, safety and so on.
Sorry, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Real hash is made from landrace plants grown in the Balkh province of northern Afghanistan, slowly dried, sieved through fine silk into jooshi garda, and then heated and kneaded into a rich black paste, being decarboxylated in the process.

Yum.

It also strikes a blow against the Taliban. It was actually what helped the Northern Alliance (Dostum et al) kick the Taliban's ass out of Mazari Sharif back in 2001, after helping drive back the Soviets over a decade earlier.

Hashish is freedom.

Good morning Bitcoinand.

I see we're halfway back up after a wee dip... currently $60970USD/$76508CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Hope some smart folks too advantage of the suckers who sold. I was too busy enjoying life.

...sell before it gets worse.

Smart people don't sell. They buy and spend.
825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: November 16, 2021, 03:10:50 PM
Top 5 day but with today's dip we'll be lucky to stay over $60k.

Hopefully that was the big correction and it's up from here.
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: November 16, 2021, 02:52:44 PM
What make people panic sell?

Because they're traders. Their main object is to try to accumulate fiat currencies.

They're not really interested in Bitcoin.

How's the lakefront property coming along Jimbo?

Pretty much done for the season.

We were up there a week ago with unseasonably warm weather for 3 days. A week ago today it reached 18c (65f) but there was still snow in the shade in the woods. We were able to sit in the sun in our shirt sleeves and enjoy frosty Margaritas. Still got cold at night though... close to freezing. We had to run the generator all night to keep warm.

It gave us a chance to finish up winterization. The roof is tarped, leaks caulked, water drained, toilet waste disposed of, and gasoline preserved.

The great thing about owning the whole lake and having only one road/trail in is that it's easy to keep trespassers out. My man up there says he'll have a new steel gate installed across the road entrance and will fell a few trees across other snowmobile-capable trails before the snow gets deep enough to sled in.

Maybe we'll get lucky and get another freak warm snap, but most likely that's it until we get back from Mexico next spring. Now it's time to start getting ready for Xmas and leave Muskoka behind us for the year. Gotta brush up on the Xmas tunes and get the Santa suit out of the mothballs.

Thanks to Blind Mayor Bitcorn for the statue.

Never leave the house?

Stuck at home? You mean house arrest?

Isn't that a form of punishment?

Get rid of the cellphone and get some fresh air and meet some real people... face-to-face.

What's the point of being Bitcoin-retired if you can't enjoy it?
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 14, 2021, 04:37:56 PM

In 90's hipster slang: Go with the flow

I thought that was 60s hippie slang.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC rise to 1 million US dollars? on: November 12, 2021, 03:30:21 AM
BTC has entered the second 4-year halving cycle ...

Um... actually Bitcoin has already halved 3 times: in 2012, again in 2016, and again in 2020.
_____

Of course it will rise to over $1m. The only question is when.

I see we're back in "another day, another ATH" mode... currently $68494USD/$85054CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Everything seems to be right on schedule.

Go Bitcoin go.

I'd post a 69 meme but this is a family forum.
840  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] If this happens, is it time to sell your Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2021, 03:44:28 PM
This is a faulty poll. It doesn't specify if it means selling all one's Bitcoins or what part of them.

I voted "I'll never sell" because I'll never sell all or even most of my coins at once.

Of course I'll keep selling small amounts of my coins regularly to meet expenses. I'll also sell slightly larger amounts as necessary as I did last winter/spring to buy a lake.

Having an FU amount of coins isn't about their dollar value. It's about having enough coins that they increase in value faster than you can spend them.
