hehe I did chuckle as I thought it up this morning. I may actually be massively sad.   Cool

Still. Had a lot of losses from yesterday. 4 wins would be nice.

*edit* Boom all 4 came in happy days *edit*

So far so good for me 2/4 "decentralised" parlays are already wins. All profit from here

823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 11, 2020, 12:13:14 PM
Oh my I got badly hurt yesterday. Blood on the streets all my parlays were splayed with RED!

So today I introduce my new concept, decentralised parlays.    Cool

Takes up a bit less space like that.

1 team falling cant hurt too bad.

Good luck all.

A while back I got a bitcoin as a security token.

You are right I am the pig still feeling exposed to lose my bacon.

Let me explain this story, I use for my agile training sessions.

There is a chicken and a pig. They are going to open up a café together.

The discussion is around the name of the establishment.

The chicken wants to call it "Bacon and Eggs" the pig says "I'm not sure I feel so comfortable with this?"

I have seen I have made good calls here, that was the point a record not cognitive bias. Still I remain a scared rabbit in the headlights

Black hole sun wont you come, wont you come!

I see you are the runaway leader in Little BTC tonight. Just registered for a chance to kick your ass  Cool
Please stay in the lead while I make my way to the final table for maximum drama and revenge points.

I cant even remember the next tournament I was way too drunk. I think my new medication is messing me up suddenly.

Met my end eventually. Still fun, using all the things I have learned from you guys.

OMG I lost so much money but I now have 60 krill. So far to go its painful. Its like the conditions when you win with a free credit on betting

Lets take a look at  the weather for today. It is hot hot hot. Summer madness out there.

The daily chart, the ceiling we have discussed, there is also the fact things look slightly (slightly) less crazy. Eg RSI

@Globbo
You lucky bastard  Wink I had so nice hand with 3Q and you bluffed it and managed to get the flush in the end. This was one of hardest loses for me and just in time to kick me of the final table and some points.

Sorry buddy.  Smiley

Not so much bluff as unmatured hand or something?   Smiley

All the best.

834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 09, 2020, 09:09:08 AM
I broke even over all, 3 of mine had isoko boars within them so that was the profit gone. Didn't manage a hedge in time on that even watching it.

Today was not a lot, so I made 1 probable and 1 good luck parlay

Tempted to chuck it on again with Spirit for OG
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 08, 2020, 03:31:26 PM
OK I had another bit of a crazy day (with a plan lol)

5/10 parlays still alive.

836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: August 08, 2020, 10:34:53 AM
Bit of a ceiling developing over last few days.

Push on or pull back?

I believe convert our charts from daily to weekly, and zooming it out would give everyone a clearer picture that Bitcoin has always been on a price discovery going up.

As you wish senior.....

Weekly candles and zoom out. Engage

838  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: August 08, 2020, 09:52:48 AM
Don't you become more vulnerable when you have a "if I get this I do that" plan.

I went out much quicker thinking I was knowing what Im doing. OK got AK do X.

People flopped out triple Queens vs AA all sorts of strong but ultimately lost hands.

There is only a few tournaments left now I think.

Need some points. Time to adjust something a bit.

Wifey drove home from work, but instead of joining her brother's birthday party, she got into a car accident.  Undecided
74yo lady in front of her missed her turn and hit the brakes, honey bunny managed to stop about a foot behind her. So far so good, but the two ladies behind crashed my babe's car into the 74yo granny's volkswagen caddy. Hospital, x-ray, CAT scan. No cracks or dislocations, luckily, but severe spinal trauma. Now she's in serious pain, the safety belt left an impressive mark on her chest. She's in home care since today, so i'll be occasionally reading WO in the next few days or weeks, depending on how things develop.

My heartfelt sympathy and wishes for a speedy recovery. Be thankful she had enough sense to wear a seat belt.

Glad she was wearing a seat belt, otherwise she might have a different face.

No effing kidding. First time I had my life saved by a seat belt (concrete median of freeway after black ice skid) it felt like someone had hit me across the chest with a baseball bat. That was before airbags. I imagined what a dashboard to the face would have felt like.

The last time a seat belt saved my life was in a head-on collision (truck-on-truck) at highway speed. Took them 2 hours to pry me out of the wreckage with the jaws of life. Luckily, for the second hour I had an oxygen tube to suck on. I could barely breathe.

The seven ribs broken by the seat belt definitely saved my life. They also taught me how to ignore pain. What doesn't kill you most definitely makes you stronger, also makes you appreciate life and not be a pessimist loser.

When I see people refusing to wear face masks during a pandemic it reminds me of the retards who refuse to wear a seat belt. You know the type... when they see a cop they'll pull the belt down and stick it under their leg, refusing to click it shut. Nobody's telling them to wear a seat belt. They'll rationalize why they shouldn't wear one... it'll trap you in the vehicle, it'll destroy your immune system, you're more likely to be magically thrown free, breathing your breath back in will asphyxiate you, etc., etc.

Seat belts save lives. So do masks.

My friend was visiting SA with his wife.

Driving his grandmas big old car. You know its just like massive leather sofas inside. No belts as it was too old.

He rolled it on a dirt road, she broke her back and neck bouncing around in back seat of the car.

They were ruined and cos staying with family they didn't even have insurance. Had to buy about 9 seats on way home to fly her back flat.

Jesus christ Marcus Rashford is still 22 years old!!!! I can't believe dude is still that young! I was fully expecting him to be over 27 years old by this point, god knows he has been playing so well for so many years that I was expecting him to be older. Manchester United has suuuuch a huge potential, I mean we are talking about such a huge potential that they are still young and yet they finished with third position already, and this is with best player being 22-23 years old.

I wonder what they will be like in 2-3 seasons, we are talking about Rashford becoming like 25-26 years old, and he is basically working as well as possible on himself as well so he will definitely peak in talent as well. I hope that eventually united goes back to their old roots and become a great team, past few years since SAF retired has been horrible.

We could be evolving a pretty strong national team with those guys too as they get better.

*Edit* I just got 7/1 on Chelsea for their Europe match against Bayern. They are 3:0 behind from first leg so surely trying to win. I chucked a few quid on it */edit*
