821  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bet on Directbet.eu and get a chance to win 1 BTC on: April 08, 2015, 08:54:14 AM
Since this is not officially sponsored or hosted by Directbet, I would recommend to use an escrow for the prize money.
822  Economy / Gambling / Re: Post here if you don't understand some part of gambling and I'll answer on: April 06, 2015, 08:53:51 AM
blackjack. how about that
i just seen on movie 21 blackjack we should to count a cards , it is true? im still dont understand

Movies and all make it sound like an easy concept but counting is very hard in real time. And the edge you get with it is pretty small. But if you have a lot of bankroll and can sit on a table with high stakes, it will be profitable. But casinos are easily able to spot the counters these days.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Street Musicians and Bitcoin on: April 06, 2015, 08:51:39 AM
I have seen a lot of Street Performers accepting bitcoin these past few months. Most of the times they hold out or place a Big QR code for donations.
I am sure this would inspire people in a place like SF, where a lot of street performers are present to accept bitcoin. Maybe next time you guys see someone accepting bitcoin, you should consider asking him if he accepts bitcoin, and if not then should.
824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone have any ideas on where to put my ref link for a dice page? on: April 05, 2015, 08:41:12 AM
I suppose it will cost you more than the amount you earn, to actually get a good traffic. The top faucet sites can end up charging a very large amount for one weeks of advertisement, but that would not guarantee clicks and return on how much you spend for advertising. The best place would be your signature or buy a spot on another site, like you can maybe use a sports betting referral of yours to be advertised on Just-dice.

You can maybe start a signature campaign for a few top posters who will have your signature on them.
825  Economy / Gambling / Re: What percent of internet Bitcoin poker is Luck vs Skill? on: April 05, 2015, 08:01:39 AM
There are way to many variables in the game to determine how much of it is luck . Each street in the game dictates and changes the luck percentage.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this some new kind of scam? on: April 05, 2015, 07:43:01 AM
It's a scam if you don't receive the promised goods.

I would agree with this. Atleast he isn't really asking you to send him the money or claim the fortune. As long as he doesn't take your money and doesn't deliver the promised items, it cannot really be called a scam. I just see it as an advertising.
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports Betting Picks Skype Consultation [ guaranteed picks ] on: April 03, 2015, 08:40:38 AM
I see you have added "[ guaranteed picks ]" in your thread subject. So how is it going to work?
Will you use escrow, and take the escrowed bitcoin only if the picks are all winning?

There is nothing as guaranteed picks unless the odds are say below 1.1, and even then may not be.
There seems to be a lot of tippers on the forum already offering tips for free, Can you tell us why we should pay for them ?
828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 147 killed in attack on Kenyan university dormitories by al-Shabab on: April 03, 2015, 08:37:43 AM
The list of countries where such attacks are carried out seem to be increasing.
There seem to be no "safe" countries.  Sad

Crime rates in Africa have been high from a long time. But its disappointing to see they targetted students in this attack. This seems to be the second attack in one year time period, after Westgate shopping mall being the first.
Even though the militant activity seems to have reduced, there are still making potential threats with these kinds of attacks.
829  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sources do you use for sports research and statistics? on: April 02, 2015, 04:29:18 PM
What sites do you guys use for sports stats and research?

Some basic ones are sportsinsights, covers, and espn

Some sites are better than others for sports. I usually use covers.com for NBA betting and have been using Flashscore for tennis stats. I frequently use ESPN as well.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins are good for bitcoin adoption? on: April 02, 2015, 04:20:50 PM
Only Dogecoin seems to have benefitted the bitcoin adoption. I have seen several people who got into bitcoin after getting into dogecoin first.

Dogecoin was initially much easier to obtain, and people used to make it popular by sponsoring race drivers etc. And once someone knew about doge, next step was bitcoin .
831  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEED ADVICE PLZ]Lost 0.10 BTC Betting..How To RECOVER? on: April 01, 2015, 07:55:45 AM
Just bet the remaining 0.76 on football over 0.5 goals in 1 or 2 games and you will likely recover the lost .1 coins. There are always slim chances of losing nevertheless.

Rather I would suggest betting all in at Under 6.5 or 5.5 on Directbet. Over 0.5 is very risky as a lot of matches end at 0-0 as well.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin A Tool For CyberCriminals on: March 31, 2015, 02:55:10 PM
.... says the USSS agent Tate Jarrow.
http://bitforum.info/t/secret-service-agent-labeled-bitcoin-as-a-tool-for-cybercriminals/702

I just think that this agent did not do his homework.

You just cant judge a thing with its lopphole. Maybe it can be utilized by cybercriminals 'for now'

Report never mentioned how useful bitcoin will be for people migrants who are working in the US and other first world countires.

Bitcoin might even end hunger for cryin out loud.

He is not wrong in what he says. The demand in ransoms by cybercriminals is mostly now through bitcoin.
But yes it isn't the only way to look at it.
Maybe he needs to be told about the scams that have happened with fiat as well.

However as for the cybercrimes there is no easy solution to this and it will certainly get a lot worse.  Benefits of cryptocurrency vastly outweigh these cybercrime cases.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: $1.4 billion invested in bitcoin, with price slowly declining on: March 30, 2015, 07:28:22 PM
This is one thing I hate about BTC. People can look at all your BTC movements. You've got to have several wallets and avoid making large transactions not to have some voyeurs creeping.

That is in no way a reason to hate bitcoin. Even though its transparent its impossible to know if the coins are moving to an exchange to be sold, or is the person just sending it to another wallet.
And its also not easy to figure out who the owner to those coins is.
834  Economy / Gambling / Re: what gambling site pays the best affiliate rates? on: March 30, 2015, 07:24:32 PM
well if theres already well known sites like just-dice, primedice, i dont see why most people will do the 999dice affiliate.

it makese no sense to me.

Just a speculation, but I think it is proven that it is a scam site. And since the referrals are paid only on losses, then the referrals will tend to lose more on 999dice which would mean a higher pay for the person referring them.
I have only referred users to Directbet and Nitrogen and are the best sites for referrals.
835  Economy / Auctions / Re: PocketrocketsCasino [Investment Account] on: March 29, 2015, 01:55:16 PM
PocketrocketsCasino has stopped the possibility for new accounts to invest, due to the success of the website.

I happen to have 2 accounts and I'd like to put one up for sale.

- I'm prepared to process through escrow service.
- Opening bid 0.1 bitcoin. Buy now price is 0.4 bitcoin until the highest bid is 0.3

Where is this news of this happening ? I have 2-3 accounts on there and there have been over 20K accounts that were created since the launch. I don't think anyone will be ready to pay 0.1 BTC for it. And the admin posted that buying might not be good idea as it can be reversed.

837  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.eu - SPORTSBOOK - POKER - BLACKJACK on: March 28, 2015, 08:38:56 PM

Jenny, what percent of withdrawals were "caught" for manual review this month? (Hint: 100%). Stop advertising instant withdrawals! What you're saying here is incredibly misleading / flat out lying.
I had few withdrawals today. None of them were manual , and all of them were processed instantly. Even on Instant it takes upto maximum of a minute for withdrawals to be processed.
838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your reasons for not accepting paypal on: March 28, 2015, 05:33:05 PM
The reasons are pretty obvious.
1. Susceptible to charge back so not good for trades involving bitcoin. Good otherwise as it guarantees buyer/seller protection.
2. Very High fees

And this should be in the off-topic section.
839  Economy / Auctions / Re: 999DICE ACCOUNT WITH 5134 Refs Auction! on: March 28, 2015, 05:28:10 PM
Why such a high starting bid? How much do you make from your refs on average per month?

High bid because it just makes loads of money! You earn 5k-10k doggies per day, 0.001 ltc per day( LTC refs are less) and 200k to 500k satoshi a day! Do the maths!

Isn't the amount you are asking for too much ? Doing the math it seems it earns you a little less than a dollar everyday, and I am guessing would be less on other days. So you are banking on the fact that those referrals will continue to play there for atleast more than an year and will continue to generate the income.

And maybe after 1.5 years the auction winner will be able ROI, and still taking the risk being linked to a scam site and hoping it would still be there after an year and all the referalls are still playing after 1 year.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What effect will Ethereum have on Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2015, 04:24:13 PM

(Ethereum will be released on the 20th of March)

It's several months away, ethereum not going to launch in march
https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/03/03/ethereum-launch-process/
It was to be expected. Seems they haven't given a hard update on when it will finally be released.
