821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nizk Szabo: "Jihan talks likes an old-style Communist: "markets are unfair"" on: March 20, 2017, 04:09:32 AM
this main board is now officially turned to shit!

we have on one hand pereira4 and lots of others, mostly brand new accounts creating topics and comments of child-like insults against anything BU related.

and we have on the other side kiklo and lots of others creating the same thing about SegWit!

and the funny part is that all of these efforts are useless. you lot are only kids fighting each other while everybody else is doing there thing.

i sometimes wonder how old some of you are Cheesy
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nearly $2 billion has been wiped off bitcoin’s value in three days on: March 20, 2017, 04:05:53 AM
all of this because of a series of stupid FUD and the funny part of it is that traders who sold to make the panic happen don't even care about that topic, they actually would love a hypothetical situation in those FUDs to happen so that they can make even more money and in fact they are going to buy even more bitcoin to have more coins in case that FUD happens. Cheesy
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: March 19, 2017, 04:59:13 AM
to be honest, it sounds a bit silly to want to log in to a gambling site with my twitter, google or facebook account IDs and reveal my true identity to the site that i am gambling with bitcoin and anonymously!!!

many bitcoin gamblers have switched from fiat to bitcoin gambling because of the privacy that it offers them and the fact that they don't have to give their identity to the sites anymore!
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You all can thank Roger Ver and Jihan Wu for crashing the market on: March 19, 2017, 04:42:55 AM
no i am actually thanking you and other people like you who spread this like a plague everywhere Cheesy

those people did what they did and it was over and nothing had happened, you people on the other hand started making them bigger than they actually are, add some FUD in the meanwhile, talk about how split is "imminent" and other bullshit like that and all the while the hashrate is still very low.

all this FUD led to the crash not what those two idiots you named actually did.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for dice from faucet - Non self-moderated topic. on: March 19, 2017, 04:37:24 AM
There are a lof and different strategies that we could actually used. Remember that those certain strategies may not work all the time so you should be wise in choosing a different strategies depending on the current situation that you have.

Gamblers offen just play and play using the faucet credits some may go and win  some loses. The key here is to keep playing with free credits till you get your lucky day

yeah we all know that perfectly well!
you say there are "a lot of strategies" can you share a couple of them with us? i mean what is the point of saying that without actually giving us any of the strategies. and i am not just talking about this comment i quoted, most of the answers in this topic are like this.

if you have a strategy then please share it with us in details if not, we all know you can't always win, stating the obvius is not helpful!
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! (again) on: March 19, 2017, 04:32:25 AM
yup.
it has been great and i am wondering how many of those who were saying bitcoin is too expensive at $1200 are buying right now and how many are still afraid and waiting for it to go back up to $1200 and repeat saying it is expensive Cheesy

it felt good to be able to buy at 3 digits again.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 19, 2017, 04:27:28 AM
Bitcoin is only digital currency right now and I don't see any competition to it at a moment but things may change in future when it may get replaced some new and innovative currency and till it happens enjoy the ride with bitcoins as it will never disappear.
but i think in some places it can also be use as fiat currency in local shops and specially in such areas where more and more people are practicing bitcoin.

where? i have never heard about it.
i have heard some very rare places accepting bitcoin as payment directly but they are too little to be called "some local shops" there was a restaurant, a food truck and a couple of smaller places but nothing that big and certainly not common.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.5 btc tx fee on: March 18, 2017, 04:20:40 AM
Clearly just a rich guy trying to help the network right Wink

It was a mistake. he posted here in bitcointalk weeks ago.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1818791.0

oh man i wish it wasn't just a one comment kind of topic from OP and it would have been great if he/she could explain why that happened so maybe others could learn from that mistake.

anyways that seems to be a story with a happy ending since the miner (Bitmain) paid him back

829  Economy / Economics / Re: Why dumps are important on: March 18, 2017, 04:13:23 AM
good point.
and from what i can see, i can tell that we are moving towards that too. if you compare the dumps and how price reacts things are changing, the volatility is not the same as say 3 years ago. whales are also way more careful with their dumps and manipulations and that shows they have lost money or at least can no longer acheive the same goals as before.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker on: March 18, 2017, 04:05:54 AM
how do you guys know if you are even playing against a real person? and more importantly how do you know that real person is another player like you and not someone from the house with access to your hand and the cards you own?
this is something that have always bugged me.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: March 18, 2017, 03:56:21 AM
Hi guys!
I was always curious if the most of the gamblers have "scheduled" their gambling time or you just go gambling whenever you're in the mood.
What about you? Is there any specific time you gamble? Week(ends) days? Or just randomly spread ?
Let us know Wink

you can't really plan about gambling, obviously you do it whenever you have some free time and have nothing else to do but you can't say i am going to gamble by 4 o clock in the afternoon Smiley
although that is just me, and i believe things are very different for those gambling addicts who can not control their behaviours and they gamble whenever they have money until they lose it all.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: price from -$50 in an hour - heart attack on: March 18, 2017, 03:53:14 AM
Has there been any reported case of death, or heart attacks, caused by bitcoin exchange rate?

my heart skipped a couple of beats but nothing too serious and it was because of joy though. i can buy cheap coins whenever something like this happens Smiley
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Things I Learned as A Bitcoin Holder on: March 18, 2017, 03:39:15 AM
Everyone cannot be lucky enough to get the profit out of it. Only few make it as an investment holding and wait for a long time, most others have the tendency to sell during small bumps and gain the profit. Patience is the must for such a profitability.

when you invest in an up and coming thing like bitcoin which has its price incerease in the long run then you only need to buy in the dips and forget about it. you can easily make profit, it is not rocket science to be hard.

like these days that price is falling, you buy now and hold it till the end of year for example or 6 months and make the profit, easy.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: March 17, 2017, 03:55:13 AM
invest in a fund like that $50, in my opinion would not bring in huge profits, many people who invest in HYIP website because the ROI is very high but it is not an investment, for me trading is the best way to earn money.

sadly there are still foolish enough people who think they can make profit from HYIPs just because they worked once or twice for them and just because they think they can beat the scammers! but what they don't know is that scammers earn money if they steal their money and if they pay that means they earn less money!
if someone doesn't know where to invest it is best not to invest at all instead of investing and losing money.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling month/april month is coming in few weeks on: March 17, 2017, 03:47:50 AM
i don't mean to discourage you but there are already enough gambling sites with good enough games and options that i don't think starting a new one is such a good idea specially if you are not prepared to do it all on your own and don't have a team already. and also you will need a very big amount of fund so that you can make the website, pay the team and also start advertising and give away some money.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: March 17, 2017, 03:40:27 AM
What ever strategy you use in gambling even martingale system, it would not change the low chance of winnings. You will lose in consecutive bets but still the risk is very high to lose more using that system. So always be ready and accepts what will be result is, be sporty.
Martingale is good if you have a good amount of bankroll, however never thing you are exploiting the gambling sites with this system as you winning experience could only be temporary. No system will work in  game where house edge is present, never try to dig deeper as in now way you will succeed.
Maybe just save your money and put it in a legitimate investment if you want to earn.

what do you call good amount? is it 1 bitcoin 10 or 1000 because it really doesn't matter when it comes to gambling and using martingale, the losses accumulate to a very big total and you end up losing all of your bankroll.
and besides if you had 10 bitcoins in your bankroll for example, you wouldn't be betting with 1 satoshi bets. you will surely start from 0.01 or something like that and defeat the whole purpose of having a big bankroll.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price drop few hours ago? on: March 17, 2017, 03:34:17 AM
FUD and manipulation is always the cause and this time is no exception. the ETF FUD ended and it was a stupid thing and now another stupid FUD about chain splitting into two is being spread everywhere and price is taking the hit for now.

just make sure not to get caught in the middle of this like last time.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cup of Coffee on: March 17, 2017, 03:30:37 AM
nobody wants to buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin, or maybe there are some people who wish they could and if you let them, they will.

but everyone wants to be able to use bitcoin as a currency. for example i want to be able to purchace a game online (worth from $5 to $50) or be able to pay for my subscription etc. and a lot more.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: March 16, 2017, 04:59:28 AM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
I think also that investing is too risky than gambling because most of investing sites are just scam, but if you find a legit investing sites then it would be better. But it is hard to find a legit investing sites so, gambling is much better because it has more chance to get profit.

Neither gambling nor investing is safe and both involves huge risk of loosing money but I still would like to go for investments after doing a good research and when it comes to investing its not mandatory that you have to invest only in online sites there are many offline places and physical products where you can invest money as investing money online is surely a risk as we cannot judge whether the site is trustworthy or not.

they both have risks but you can not even begin to compare risks of gambling with risks of investment. gambling is like playing with a big fire, and investment is like playing with a matchstick fire!!!
you can never manage the first one because it is out of your control but in investment the risks are in your control and you can easily handle them with care.
840  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: March 16, 2017, 04:53:26 AM
it should be possible but it is not going to be easy. if it were, we would have seen so many hacks until today!
and besides all these sites have a lot of security measures protecting themselves against any hack and are making it hard for the hackers to get in.
also don't confuse the exchange hacks which has always been a scam with casino hacks.
