821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 27, 2023, 09:41:21 PM
What are the repercussions of failing to complete KYC on an exchange?
Then you can never make a successful transaction like withdrawal or even deposits especially if you are putting a bigger amount.  But if you chose decentralized exchanges, then KYC will not be an issue since everything in there does not require KYC, plus you will have all the access of your transactions without putting them at a high risk of losing.
822  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should newbies invest with small capital in BTC on: September 27, 2023, 02:00:48 PM
I know for beginners it’s always a must to start with small capital investment, as the risk to lose is quite manageable as well. But if you start generating profits, then you can start increasing the size of your bitcoin portfolio so you can start maximizing your future profits. That way, the more experienced you are, the lesser chances to lose, and the more opportunities to make massive profits you will obtain.

I see OP is optimistic about the future potential of BTC and knows exactly the impact of investing in BTC if entering with small capital Now. Maybe we should also convey this general point to those who have just entered the market, to always use unused money for important daily needs or cold money to enter the world of crypto trading, especially BTC.

and regarding the amount needed in my opinion it will always vary, because if you want to relax and be safe it's a little, but if you want fast capital turnover as you said above provided you always update and know where the market is going, but the BTC pattern is very identical in the long term, at least 3-5 years, then the profits will be felt.
Well, the point is that OP is just new to the crypto space which is not ideal for putting huge amounts for investment even though he is optimistic about the future of Bitcoin. And the reason is that he was prone to losing them all and it was hurt on their side which I think we don't need to see them suffering terrible losses at first. Perhaps, we can increase our investment gradually once we are fully ready and know more about the market trend. It is just keeping them safer than making them regret it.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 27, 2023, 12:04:00 PM
Let us remember that TR7 was not used last conference, don't know the reason why but somehow TR7's talent is way up high that than of Kyt.

Probably he wasn't healthy last conference. Now that he's back, he was supposed to play in the Asian Games but faced a protest, so the only chance we'll see him is wearing an SMB uniform again. It's going to be exciting to watch, as JMF has regained his confidence, Romeo is back, and CJ has improved as well, I think. So, aside from Ginebra, I believe SMB will have a good chance of winning a championship. If they don't win, then I guess it's a coaching issue. Let's bring back Austria again.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Flip or Trade? What’s The Bigger Gamble? on: September 27, 2023, 09:06:19 AM
Lost in the whirlwind world of day trading? It often feels like a maze with big folks and their flashy tools, leaving us hoping for a stroke of luck. Imagine ditching the tricky charts for a simple, real coin flip, person vs person, with a fair 50/50 chance. No gimmicks, no house edge, just a clear, honest game.

What’s your take? Does day trading seem more of a gamble compared to a straight-up coin flip

Coin flipping seems more like gambling to me. The reason we are interested in gambling isn't just because we feel lucky, but, most importantly, because we believe we have the skills. We can't apply those skills in gambling if it's a simple coin flip; it should involve only skill-based games like poker or sports betting. Additionally, day trading is not easy; it can be quite complicated for some. However, at least there's a good chance of improving our skills.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You choose the best site. 💪 on: September 27, 2023, 08:16:58 AM
Why bother choosing to invest only when we can both invest and gamble at the same time? I guess you have to understand that if everyone holds Bitcoin, it's not good for the future, since it's the demand that will help the market grow. I'd like to tell you that the gambling industry is one of the major demand drivers in crypto.

Investing is not suitable for everyone, and neither is gambling, but as individuals, we have our personal preferences. I think the suggestion should be for us to be able to determine the risk and learn how to manage it.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see any value in move to earn crypto projects? on: September 26, 2023, 12:11:07 PM
I have the feeling that the whole model of the project closely related to the NFT games in general basically you're giving away token for people to use the app itself therefore it might get ended the same way those majority blockchain games are ending, basically got their token value decreased so hard nobody ever glance eye again towards that project and instead prefer to find newer ones.
I'm not sure if you are really talking about NFT because what I thought it was P2E.
But anyway, whatever you've compared this move to earn, people don't believe it honestly. Why? Because people had learned already in the past, making no investment and making you earn money, that was absolutely a scam thing. It only wastes our time and makes us a fool because there is no free money this time. They might give you token rewards but the question is if that is tradable already or just another useless coin (probably).
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: September 26, 2023, 07:31:11 AM

I`m talking not only about analyze but about different ways of getting profit from sport betting. We can compare odds that different bookies give us on one event. Sometimes one bookie gives w1 odd 4(for example), and another bookie gives x2 odd 5. So we can get profit anyway if we bet both. But you can`t search online such mistakes manually. And there are other ways to get profit that need software.

So if we are talking only about prediction - we don`t need any software - just internet and lots of free time.

You are referring to arbitrage betting, and no, it's hard to win with that kind of betting if you don't have a decent amount of bankroll. Don't expect to get a difference of at least +100... maybe 1 to 5% is already a good difference that you can exploit. It does not have risk, but it's time-consuming if you don't have enough capital, so I suggest you fulfill that first if you want to try this. Of course, there's a system for doing it as manually can be more like a waste of time, and you won't be able to find the best arbitrage opportunities.
828  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: September 26, 2023, 05:59:46 AM
I got lucky once again and won another free bet in the Sportsbet.io sponsored Serie A pool:

Source: Sportsbet

Let's see how this one goes friends. On paper the three matches are quite clear, but in reality it is usually a little bit different. Wish me luck, haha.

Thanks again for the generous free bets @Sportsbet.io.  Smiley

How did you win some free bets? Is the free bet amount that they'll credit to your account based on your average wager? I think 1 MBTC is quite generous for a gambling site, but I'd appreciate it if you could share a little more information. By the way, I'm using Sportsbet as well, but I paused for a bit while waiting for the NBA regular season to commence.

Anyway, good luck!
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Psychology and tips on: September 24, 2023, 02:47:30 PM
With the losses, that's how a trader grows. If no trader will have their own losses, they won't learn new strategies and what's best for them. I agree that these losses are like entries to check our mistakes and as well as the gateway to improve.

Trust your Analysis
As long as you do you due diligence on your setup after analyzing, take the shot. It is never a guarantee but once your setup says ‘go’, go with it.
About this, sometimes I don't trust my own analysis but this is also like trusting our own analysis. It may not be as perfect as the others but you're right that if you think that you're doing your analysis flawlessly then follow and see what will be the result of it.
You know if you aim to be a professional trader, there’s no way but to trust our own analysis no matter how imperfect it seems because what we have learned and gained as a trader will definitely reflect on the result of the analysis we made. If you are think you are always in doubt, then don’t pursue your trading career. You will only lose in the long run if you never trust your own instinct and trading analysis.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is only Bitcoin and nothing else on: September 24, 2023, 12:25:18 PM
I guess it has always been bitcoin ever since, but since we are born greedy and would want to diversify our coins as much as possible, then we resort into investing some altcoins hoping that it could also generate decent profits for us. But only few of them survived and the rest have turned into shitcoins. One thing that we only realized now when we suffered consistent losses. However, as long as we prioritize bitcoin and allocate bigger funds on it, I guess we are still not at loss.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 24, 2023, 11:59:12 AM
Yes, in terms of leadership Brownlee is reliable and with experienced on how coach Tim work with his players I believe that it won't be hard for him to decide in taking over when the team needed him the most, plus the players who's playing around him is not new most of them already have that chance to play alongside with him.

Honestly, that was the key reason why before, Justin Brownlee was even pushed up by some fans to play in the FIBA World Cup instead of Jordan Clarkson, even though the latter is playing at an NBA-caliber level. There's a clear ball rotation if Brownlee is on the floor, unlike Clarkson who mostly, plays in isolation and and designed for him.

Coach Tim also knows how to utilize each player on the current roster since it's not new to him handling these guys, especially his Ginebra players.

Excited to see their match against Jordan a week from now, the toughest team in their bracket.

Maybe they will try again next time with Brownlee if he can still play, or perhaps the outcome of this tournament will be the deciding factor in choosing between the two. If Gilas wins the gold, I think they will stick with Brownlee, as that way they will be able to save some money compared to Clarkson, whom they reportedly paid $1 million.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: September 24, 2023, 11:13:05 AM

And if I'm going to describe the performance of Zhang, it's methodical, he just wait and stalk and see what Joyce will offer to him in the first couple of rounds. And after his read, he started to work, body shots to confused Joyce early and hit he target practice Joyce chin with that big right hand. I thought that it will be the uppercut that might closed the show, but still Zhang for the KO win.

I agree with your observation Joyce did not show something different, he concentrated on his defense but when Zhang started to hit the target he resorted to being himself going toe-to-toe hoping that would stop Zhang's offense, unfortunately, Zhang was prepared because he could take Joyce's power, Zhang speed and power could match Tyson Fury's style so it's going to be an exciting fight I hope this match materialize.
We love to see two big guys with almost the same style as they always say style makes a fight so a Tyson = Zhang fight is going to be worth watching.
The lack of head movement makes him vulnerable. Zhang's power was really evident right from the start, and he was very confident and smart, despite many people doubting him before the fight. So now that he retained the championship and beat Joyce twice, I think Joyce's career is already over. I would love to see him fight Tyson Fury; both are clever, but I think Fury would win easily.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 24, 2023, 04:22:36 AM
Most likely this single food distributor offers a high percentage of profits to the government that other distributors have no chance to enter the market. However, in my own point of view, there’s nothing you can do about the costly prices of goods but you can actually save if you really want to. Grow your own garden on vegetables and fruits so that when they start bearing, you will never buy again those expensive foods sold in the market.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: September 23, 2023, 09:45:15 PM
For most of us meme coins are damaging the image of crypto but if we look into it deeply, no they are not. They're just making the crypto market more exciting and quite more risky to invest knowing we can be in profits all of a sudden or we can lose all our funds instantly.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 23, 2023, 09:13:24 PM
Even unstable, disfunctional people can invest in Bitcoin, so it was just a matter of time until we would see these news coming up. As many have said, the problem isn't Bitcoin, but the man who is completely insane. Someone who can't afford the risk of losing money with BTC investment, shouldn't be investing on it, but in this case the roots of the problem go even further, as he took completely extreme measures in response to the loss, besides the fact he is also a possessive man who can't deal with the fact his wife doesn't want him anymore.

The normal reaction would be to let she go away and respect her decision, instead of shooting her and shooting his own leg right after. Completely out his mind... This person is a menace for society. Let's see what authorities are going to do with him.
Bitcoin is just a tool, so it’s nothing to do with any conflict that has arise but it’s all about the person who dares to invest in bitcoin without evaluating himself first if he can actually manage the risk of losing. And because he’s insane and highly greedy, when he start losing from bitcoin, he eventually turn to other people to blame and let his emotions out, thus putting the wife in a very terrible situation that she even herself can’t hardly imagined.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 23, 2023, 01:04:48 PM
Let’s also congratulate our younger Gilas for qualifying for the World Cup U17 next year, we have a better future if we continue the system that we have on our younger teams. I hope our national commission will address this concern and follow the strategy of other countries on molding younger players for their future representative, I think its about time now to have our own solid Gilas team with a solid system.
I read the news, but I wasn't very interested. I'm more focused on the development of our pros who represent Gilas Pilipinas. We had a good tune-up win, and now we're waiting for the result of the first game. Hopefully, it won't disappoint us because we already know how the fans will react.

When Gilas loses, there will be a lot of negative comments, but if they win, you'll see the words 'proud Pinoy.' That's the kind of mentality, though.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 23, 2023, 11:48:11 AM
Media makes it looks like a done deal that's why many Warriors and Howards fan that it was a success deal between both parties. But news came out and this is unfortunate events since fans is really hype up for the fact that Warriors will get a legit center now. It seems that Kerr will stick to his small ball line up and this is what Warriors fans worried about since many think that they will be dominated back again by Lakers or Nuggets.
That's why we shouldn't assume anything until there's an actual contract in place. The hype they created led people to invest in the story. They knew that the Warriors are a popular team, and people's reactions showed that they believed Howard would be a great addition to the team. However, this news is truly disappointing.
You can't blame the fans, mate. This is our favorite basketball league, and if a team that we also like has some updates regarding improving their lineup, it should excite us. I think fans would not be interested if Howard was rumored to sign with weaker teams like the Rockets, Pistons, or any other teams at the bottom of the standings.

At least we have a clear answer now that Howard is not going to the Warriors, so we can discuss other rumors instead.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 23, 2023, 11:29:16 AM
Also the former champion, although upset by Tapales, I think Akhmadaliev is still good test for Inoue.

But Inoue's first goal will be the other champion in Tapales.

Why would Inoue go down to fight a boxer who has already lost to a fighter he beat, in case he wins against Tapales? It wouldn't excite the fans anymore. I think he should go up against either Nery or Casimero. But as a fan, I would vote for Casimero over Nery, so that finally Inoue won't be bashed by some Filipino fans who think Inoue is afraid of Casimero.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do you think Satoshi Would Think About Today's Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2023, 08:34:40 PM
I cannot say it’s totally in the wrong place because even if people have resorted to use it as a store of value more than a digital currency, still it serves the idea of freedom that Satoshi would want us to experience from the manipulation of the government. I believe we are still heading to the original plan using bitcoin as a currency but for now, it’s just that the global adoption is still very hard to be realized.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 22, 2023, 01:28:33 PM
If it isn't match fixing, it could say least be money laundering.

This is what I highly suspecting since they are targeting account capable of betting huge amount since new casino accounts can be easily limited on amount of bets once they put huge money on bets.

They offer a good profit sharing which other user might find interesting. Sportsbook usually share data with different casino so there’s a chance that they might connect the account easily on the syndicate circle once they bet on same match with same huge amount for ML purposes or match fixing. It’s very easy to spot this shady bets since only few bet huge amount on same match.

How much are we talking about here? I suppose there are plenty of big casinos that can handle substantial bets, so this wouldn't be noticed unless they receive information or orders to trace certain accounts, transactions, or names linked to money laundering activity. Well, it's hard to speculate, but it's good that we are always cautious and not limited to a simple possibility. If investigated, the links might have bigger connections and could lead someone to jail. Just imagine the potential consequences for a small amount of profit sharing; it could ruin your life.
